Hello, and welcome to All ThingsCryptid.

(00:03):
I am your host, Amanda Winter.
And today in this episode, We'regoing to be traveling to Point
Pleasant, West Virginia andsurrounding areas.
In November, 1966, some verystrange paranormal happenings
occurred.
And it all started with a beingcalled Indrid Cold or"grinning

(00:27):
man", as he is sometimesreferred to.
And then there was the mothmanand a horrible tragedy that
occurred after the sightings.
Were they all connected?
Some people think so others, notso much.
Let's dive in and see what youthink.

(00:52):
So let's begin.
A salesman for a sewing machinecompany by the name of Woodrow,
Derenberger or"Woody" as hisfriends would sometimes call him
was on his way home on November2nd, 1966 at about 7:25 PM to
Mineral Wells in West Virginia.

(01:13):
He had been away working in Ohioand was heading home along
highway I-77.
As he was reaching Parkersburg,a strange car flew past him at
an extraordinary speed.
The car was like none other thathe had ever seen before.
And he claimed it had"a kerosenelamp, chimney sprouting out of

(01:34):
its top".
And it traveled eight to 10inches off of the road.
Without warning, the carsuddenly pulled in front of him
and jerked itself sidewaysmaking Woody slam on the brakes
and making his so that he couldnot go around it.
Suddenly a grinning man in adark suit got out of the strange
craft and started to walk towardDerenberger's truck.

(01:57):
As the man got out of the craftand was approaching the truck,
the craft suddenly shot straightup into the air about 50 to 75
feet from the ground.
As the being was walking towardthe right side of Woodrow's
truck.
He was speaking with himtelepathically.
He asked him to roll his windowdown because he just wanted to

(02:18):
talk to him.
Noticing that Woody wasfrightened.
He asked why he was frightened.
The being then said,"We are justlike you, we eat, we breathe.
We sleep.
We bleed even as you do.
We are.
Like you please be notfrightened." Then the grinning

(02:41):
man asked what he was called.
So Derenberger told him his fullname.
The man then responded by sayingthe, his name was"Cold".
The physical description of Coldwas pretty common.
He said, he looked just like aman that you would see on the
street Derenberger described himas about 35 to 40 years of age,

(03:03):
having a trim build.
Was about six feet tall.
180 to 185 pounds with dark eyesand dark brown hair that was
slick straight back.
Cold wore, a long dark top coatthat was zippered down the
front.
And beneath the coat, Woody wasable to glimpse a suit like
attire and by suit like attire,I mean, a button up shirt and

(03:27):
pants.
He said that the fabricglistened.
He also described Cold as havinga tan complexion throughout the
conversation Cold kept a frozensmile, and curiously hit his
hands beneath his armpits mostof the time.
Derenberger said that he had asmile on his face and appeared

(03:48):
very courteous and friendly.
Cold did however, point to thedistant lights of Parkersburg
and ask Mr.
Derenberger"What do you callthat over there?" Derenberger
said,"well, that's Parkersburgand we call that a city." Cold
responded with"where I comefrom, we call it a gathering."

(04:10):
Cold later added that he camefrom a place less powerful than
ours.
As the men talked cars passedunderneath the craft, which
drifted up up the road.
The occupants were seeminglyunaware of the spaceship, even
being there as it didn't havelights on Cold, then asked about
Parkersburg.
"Do people live there or do theywork there?" Woody answered"why,

(04:31):
yes.
People live and work there."Cold asked,"do you work for a
living Mr.
Derenberger?
Derenberger answered," I am asalesman.
That's what I do.
Do you have a job?" Coldanswered,"yes, I am a searcher."
Toward the end of theconversation, Cold step back

(04:52):
away from the window.
As soon as he did the craftimmediately came back down and
floated about 10 inches off ofthe ground.
Cold ended the conversationwith, we will see you again, and
the door opened and Derenbergersaw the silhouette of another
human being it'sarm reached outand pulled in Cold up into the
craft and then shut the door.

(05:13):
The ship, then jetted it up intothe air about 75 feet, made a
fluttering noise and then shotaway at a very high rate of
speed.
For a few moments.
Derenberger sat stunned.
Finally, he started up his carand drove to his farm house and
Mineral Wells where his wife methim at the door.
Mrs.
Derenberger later describedWoodrow as"he couldn't have been

(05:34):
any whiter if he'd have beenlying in a coffin." The stories
vary but from Mr.
Derenberger's account, though, his wife is the one who called
the West Virginia State Police,or at least dialed the number.
Woody gave them a brief reportof what he had claimed to have
had happen.
It is interesting to note thatin the initial report,

(05:57):
Derenberger called the alienCold, but he did not mention
Indrid Cold until later.
He just said Cold.
The next day, Derenbergerattempted to go back to work,
but was sidetracked when heagreed to do a live television
interview about his experienceon the previous night with the

(06:18):
UFO, he did the interview withWTAP-TV, an NBC affiliate in
Parkersburg housed in a smallbuilding, not much bigger than a
garage.
The interview took place shortlybefore noon where Woodrow
Derenberger was grilled byveteran reporter Glenn Wilson,
Ronald Mains, who was thegeneral manager of WTAP-TV a

(06:42):
city police, chief Ed Plum, aswell as other local law
enforcement, including the headof the Wood County Airport.
The last part of the broadcastwas about 30 minutes During that
time, Derenberger drew a pictureof the spacecraft, which he
described in his thick WestVirginia accent as charcoal gray

(07:03):
with no lights and looking likean old fashioned chimney.
He said that the craft glistenedin his headlights and was
approximately 25 to 30 feetlong.
You can actually look up andlisten to the interview that
took place on YouTube.
It's pretty interesting to hear.
Probably one of the most curiousstatements that Woodrow

(07:24):
Derenberger made about hismeeting was that Cold had said,
"and we will see you again...."and then his voice trails off.
Police Chief Ed Plum asked.
"Do you really believe you willsee him again?" Derenberger then
answered.
I think so I believe I will Idon't know'cause that's what I'm
afraid of" After that interview,Derenberger's life transformed

(07:48):
drastically and not for thebetter.
He changed jobs, develop maritalproblem, clung to his church for
a while, and then came thestrange visits from men dressed
in black clothing, whomDerenberger suspected to be some
kind of hidden government groupof spies, or maybe even mafia.
He wasn't sure, they just spoketo him.

(08:10):
They would arrive at his houseand asked Derenberger simple
questions.
Some had to do with his UFOexperience.
And then the men in black actedin a very threatening manner.
But nothing was as incredible asthe return of Indrid Cold.
At least this is what WoodrowDerenberger claimed.

(08:30):
He said that Cold visited himmany times at his farmhouse in
Mineral Wells.
At one point, Derenberger cameup missing for about six months
and said that he was with thealiens.
I'm going to pause right herefor just a minute, because I am
so curious.
Like, was he really missing?
I want to like talk to peoplewho was around and be like,

(08:52):
yeah, dude was just gonebecause, oh my gosh, that is so
wild.
The local population finallybecame skeptical.
The sewing machine salesman talegrew more and more farfetched.
Derenberger even claimed to havebeen impregnated by the aliens.

(09:14):
In 1967, Woodrow, Derenbergerstated to have visited Indrid
Cold's home planet where itsresidents walked around wearing
no clothing.
He said the aliens lived in agalaxy called Ganymede, where
everything was peaceful andthere was no war.
The ridicule became too much.
Derenberger with his family, moved from the area and stayed

(09:37):
away for decades.
He returned to Wood County inthe 1980s and he died in 1990.
Woodrow Derenberger was finallylaid to rest in Mount Zion
Cemetery in Mineral Wells, WestVirginia.
Many people have claimed to havemet Indrid Cold and wherever he
ends up disaster and strangephenomenon seem to follow.

(09:59):
Many of these witnesses believethe grinning man is actually one
of the men in black and islinked to UFO sightings.
While looking into Indrid Cold.
I found that Woody Derenbergerwas not the only person to
report the appearance of asinister looking grinning, man.
On that same night on that verysame road, two other men saw an
elongated object land in frontof their vehicle.

(10:22):
They were forced to stop andthey watched as a man
disembarked and headed theirway.
He wore a dark coat and foldedboth arms in a peculiar way that
could be considered lookinguncomfortable.
He asked both men questions thatseem pointless to them before
the man returned to the craftthat subsequently took off.
So while researching IndridCold, I did find that several

(10:43):
weeks before Derenberger had hisencounter, a pair of boys met a
man that scared both of them.
The boys, James Yanchitis andMartin"mouse" Manov were walking
home along Fourth Street inElizabeth, New Jersey.
They had reached a corneropposite of a landmark called
the turnpike.
This was an elevated area with ahigh wire fence and a steep

(11:07):
incline.
They reported that behind thefence stood, the strangest man
they ever saw.
Neither had any idea how the mangot there or where he came from.
The man just stood there andgrinned, they described him as
being over six feet tall and hehad a dark complexion and small
beady eyes.
He appeared in a greenreflective suit.

(11:28):
The man chased the kids untilthey got away.
So because there were these twostrange sightings I definitely
wanted to start the podcast withIndrid Cold.
But now we're going to betraveling to Point Pleasant West
Virginia.
And we're going to be talkingabout November 12th, 1966.
So literally 10 days after theiIndrid Cold sighting by Woody.

(11:55):
Five men were digging a grave,in a cemetery near Clendenin,
West Virginia.
And they were startled by theappearance of a large brown
winged man in the trees whohopped from branch to branch.
They reported the man likecreature to be"like a bat from
hell".
Just a few days later on theevening of November 15th, 1966.

(12:18):
Roger and Linda Scarberry andSteve and Mary Mallett.
We're in the process of drivingpast an area of town known as
theTNT area, and they noticedtwo huge red eyes that caught in
the headlights.
As they got closer, theyrealized that these eyes belong
to a seven foot tall creaturewith wings.

(12:41):
They naturally panicked and spedoff as fast as they could
leaving the creature, standingthere with its wings tucked in
behind its back.
As they got further down theroad, they slowed back down and
started discussing what they hadseen.
All of a sudden they spotted thesame creature on a hill near the
road.
This time, it decided to givechase, they managed to get into

(13:02):
Point Pleasant and file a reportwith the Sheriff about the
strange creature.
Apparently they were not theonly ones to have witnessed the
strange entity that night.
A building contractor namedNewell Partridge was watching TV
in his home.
And at about 10:30 PM, that samenight, his enjoyment was
interrupted by a strange patternthat appeared on his television

(13:24):
screen.
As he got up to take a closerlook at the TV screen, he was
shocked to hear a frighteningscream originate from outside
his home.
His dog was out on the frontporch, barking, wildly.
So Newell grabbed his torch.
Now I'm not sure why he had atorch, and we probably won't

(13:45):
talk about it.
But I will just say that I wanta torch.
Anyway, he grabbed his torch andhe went outside to join his
hound.
When he got outside, he noticedthat his dog was concentrating
his barking toward the barn nearthe house.
He quickly shown his flashlightin the barn's direction and was

(14:05):
horrified to see two bright redeyes shining back at him.The dog
took off at once and gave chaseto the strange red eye creature
across the farmland, Newell ranback inside to grab his gun.
But when he got in doors, thefear hit him.
He was far too scared to returnback outside and to aid his poor

(14:26):
dog in the pursuit.
That night, no Partridge was sofrightened, he slept with a
loaded gun propped up againstthe foot of his bed.
He woke up the next morning andscanned the local area for his
dog, but there was no sign ofhim.
After a few days of searchingfor his dog, he picked up the
local newspaper and he cameacross reports of similar

(14:47):
encounters to the one that hehad experienced.
When he got to the story by thecouple and the TNT area or the
two couples by theTNT area, hisheart sank.
In the report, they claim tohave seen a large dog lying on
its side, on the road, as theyentered into the city of Point
Pleasant.
Newell Partridge never saw hisdog again.

(15:09):
A press conference was arrangedfor the 16th of November, where
the Scarberry's and the Mallettsgave their account of what
happened at the TNT plant.
They were joined at theconference by Deputy Halstead
who told onlookers that he hadknown the couple all their life
and he believed them.
They had never before been inany trouble and they had no
reason to lie.

(15:29):
The TNT plant seemed to becomethe center of the mothman's
attentions over the next fewmonths with numerous sightings
reported.
It was a large location made upof concrete buildings and wooded
areas.
Locals believe the mothman wasusing the maze of tunnels
underneath the TNT plant to comeand go.
As he pleased.
A lot of land covered by theplant was pretty much

(15:52):
inaccessible.
So the moth main could've stayedhidden with very little effort
at all.
There were a few houses in theregion that surrounded the TNT
plant.
And one of those was the home ofthe Thomas family.
On the night of November 16th,the family noticed a strange,
glowing light levitating abovethe plant.
About an hour later, MarcellaBennett decided to visit the

(16:12):
Thomas household with her youngdaughter.
When she pulled up and got outof the car, she turned to see a
huge gray humanoid with redeyes.
Raise up from the ground.
It had been lying down when shearrived, but decided to rise up
when she got out of her car.
In her panic, Marcella forgotshe was carrying her young
daughter and actually droppedher back accident.

(16:34):
She quickly scrambled aboutpicked up her daughter and made
a mad dash for the Thomas home.
When inside the house, theyquickly locked all the windows
and doors.
A minute later, the red-eyecreature made its way to their
porch and started to peerthrough various windows.
They were all so petrified, theyquickly contacted the police
station to ask for help.

(16:55):
By the time that the policearrived on scene, there was no
sign of this mysterious redeyes, visitor.
Marcella Bennett could notforget the ordeal and spent
months afterwards suffering fromsevere mental health issues.
She was constantly tormented bystrange nightmares, and she
later admitted to investigatorsthat the creature had not
finished with her.
It had visited her home onvarious occasions.

(17:18):
She also claims she was hauntedby the sounds of a woman's
screaming somewhere near theedge of Point Pleasant.
Over the coming months, no fewerthan 20 other people reported
seeing something similar to themothman beast.
After the excitement of theseinitial sightings made their way
into public focus.
Sightings began to crop up allover West Virginia witnesses

(17:40):
claim that this mothman couldfly at speeds over a hundred
miles an hour, but that he wasextremely uncoordinated on foot.
Legends grew to surround thebeast saying that had an
infinity for landing on theroofs of teenagers cars or that
it was a member of the alienspecies.
However Dr.
Robert L.
Smith and associate professorwith wildlife biology at West

(18:04):
Virginia University dismissedthe notion that a flying monster
was stalking the town.
And instead he attributed thesightings to that of a Sandhill
Crane, which stands almost astall as the average man and has
bright red flesh around itseyes.
Logical explanations for themothman, tend to favor the
theory of the crane.

(18:24):
Sandhill cranes are migratorybirds that annually traveled
from Northern Canada to theSouthern United States where
they spend the winter.
These brownish gray birds cangrow to be around five feet tall
with wingspans exceeding theirheight.
Their migratory routes take themalong the Appalachian Mountains,
skirting the west of WestVirginia, but it would be

(18:45):
possible for some of the birdsto stray from their usual route
and appear in places theywouldn't typically be found such
as Northwest West Virginia, where Point Pleasant is located.
In addition to matching theheight, color and location
criteria, sandhill cranes havefleshy crimson patches around

(19:05):
their eyes, which could easilybe mistaken for the glowing red
eyes of the mothman.
Other suggestions, attempting touncover the origin of the beast
had included owls and unusuallylarge herons.
Some people hypothesize that thebunkers have leaked toxic
materials into neighboringwildlife preserve affecting
nearby animals.

(19:25):
They believe that these toxinscome from the bunker area or the
TNT area where they manufacturedmunitions and stored TNT During
World War II.
At the height of its production, the facility, right outside of
Point, Pleasant West Virginiaproduced 500,000 pounds of TNT
each day.
This site closed in 1945.

(19:47):
However much of the land iscontaminated by TNT and its
chemical precursor, DNT.
No one can know 100% why themothman was there or what the
mothman was.
But we do know one thing.
Something very tragic wasgetting ready to happen.

(20:07):
Was it connected?
On December 15th, 1967, just alittle over a year after the
first month, man citing.
Traffic was bad on the silverbridge.
The Point Pleasant Bridge, alsoknown as the Silver Bridge, was
an eye-bar chain suspensionbridge built in 1928 and named

(20:29):
for the color of its aluminumpaint.
It was used to connect PointPleasant West Virginia to Ohio.
The bridge was packed with cars.
Christmas was just around thecorner and both lanes were lined
with shoppers and commutersalike,as they tried to make
their way home.
But for many among them, it wasnot to be.

(20:50):
This placed a strain on thebridge, when it had been built
in a time when cars were muchlighter.
And on that cold December day, without warning, a single
eye-bar near the top of thebridge on the Ohio side,
cracked.
The chain snapped.
And the bridge and its carefulequilibrium, disturbed fell to
pieces, plunging cars andpedestrians into the icy water

(21:15):
of the Ohio River below.
One of the eye-bars had a smallunseen defect.
The faulty eye-bar eventuallycracked and began to corrode out
of sight from the public or thebridge inspectors and about 5:00
PM on December 15th, the eye-barfailed, setting off a series of

(21:36):
other failures that cause thewhole bridge to collapse.
There were 31 vehicles on thebridge at the time of its
collapse.
46 people died either bydrowning or being crushed by the
wreckage.
Two people were never found.
The Silver Bridge tragedy led tonational changes in how bridges
were inspected.
At St.

(21:56):
Mary's some 100 miles upstreamfrom Point Pleasant, another 40
year old bridge of the samedesign was immediately closed
and later demolished.
Following the mothman citing thebridge collapse was the second
terrible and bizarre thing toput Point Pleasant on the map in
a year's time.
IT was actually third, if youcount Indrid Cold.

(22:16):
So it didn't take long forpeople to connect all of them
together.
Mary Hyre was the Point Pleasantreporter for the local
newspaper,"The Messenger".
A few days after the bridgedisaster, she was swapped with
calls from locals claiming theyhad seen UFO lights in the sky
before, during, and after thebridge collapse.

(22:37):
One night in January, she wasstuck in her office working late
when a short and peculiar manwalked in.
His eyes were very strange, almost inhuman and they were
covered by extremely thickspectacles.
His hair was very dark and longand cut into a strange bowl
shaped.
When he spoke, he had a strangelow voice that sort of

(22:58):
stuttered.
At first, she thought hestuttered from some sort of
speech impediment.
He was only interested in onesubject.
He wanted more information onthe people that have reported
seeing the strange lights in thesky.
He also seemed interested ingetting directions to Welch West
Virginia.
As he talked to Mary, he wasedging closer and closer to her.

(23:22):
She became very afraid andcalled her boss into her office
with her.
As they continue to talk to thestrange character, the phone
rang, and Mary answered it, thesmall man then noticed her pen
lying on the office desk andpicked it up to examine it
further.
He seemed to have a look ofamazement on his face as he
examined the pen.

(23:42):
It was as if he'd neverencountered one before.
All of a sudden he quicklyscanned the room, pocketed the
pen and ran out of the building.
This was not the last time Marywould see the strange character.
As a few weeks later, shespotted him crossing the road,
near her office location.
He recognized her, he panickedand made a dash for a large
black sedan that suddenlyappeared.

(24:04):
He jumped into the backseat ofthe car and it sped off into the
distance.
There were reports of thisstrange man visiting the homes
of several of the witnesses thathad reported seeing the lights
in the sky.
He claimed to be a member of thepress from Cambridge, Ohio, But
when questioned, he seemed toknow nothing about the area Some
locals believe that this man wasIndrid Cold returning to the

(24:26):
area while others believed hewas one of the men in black that
worked beneath Cold.
The truth of the matter is thatwe will never know for sure.
He has not reappeared since thatwe are aware of.
The mothman craze eventuallygained traction outside of West
Virginia.
As national papers beganreporting the phenomenon.
Sightings of the beast startedpopping up as far away as

(24:48):
Chicago, the pervasiveness ofthe myth also caught the
attention of psychologist andzoologist who took it upon
themselves to diagnose themothman craze.
Along with the qualifiedprofessionals, pseudoscience
enthusiast, and cryptozoologistalso offered up their
explanation to the mothmansightings as everything from
aliens to supernaturalmanifestations.

(25:11):
In 1975 author, John Keelconflated the mothman sightings
and the bridge disaster whilecreating the book,"The Mothman
Prophecies".
He also incorporated UFOactivity.
His book to hold, and the townsoon became iconic among
conspiracy theorists, ufologistand fans of the paranormal.

(25:33):
It's worth noting that John Keelwas not a believer and Woodrow
Derenberger's UFO story.
So it's mysterious why he wouldmake it such a big part of"The
Mothman Prophecies"book.
In"The Mothman Prophecies"movie, the character Gordon
Smallwood, is based upon WoodrowDerenberger.
But the Wood County man mostoften appeared a suit, not

(25:56):
overall.
A few elements.
The story made it believablethat initially something of an
extraordinary nature happened tohim.
First of all his accountpredates the mothman sightings
by 10 days.
Derenberger would have had tohave been a prophet to know that
something was about to happennext.
Making his story even moreextraordinary.

(26:17):
Woody's family explains, theybelieve something in an other
worldly nature initiallyhappened, but he added the tale
to sell his book.
Woodrow Derenberger, selfpublished a book called"Visitors
from Lanolus" in 1971, I've notread the book, but I do want to
read it.
In 2002, a movie based on Keel'sbook, rekindled interest in the

(26:39):
mothman.
In" The Mothman Prophecies"film, Richard Gere plays a
reporter whose wife seems tohave witnessed the moth man
shortly before her death hefinds himself inexplicably in
Point Pleasant several yearslater with no clue how he got
there.
And he's not the only one havingtrouble explaining himself as
several other locals experiencepremonitions of distant

(27:01):
disaster.
There's talk of visitations froma mysterious figure called the
mothman.
The film, a supernatural horrorand mystery offers, no
conclusions communicatinginstead, an eerie feeling of
disjointedness that was bothplanned and praised by critics.
Most notably the filmpopularized the image of the
mothman as an omen of doom.

(27:24):
The idea that visitations fromthe mothman predicted disaster
led some believers to make tiesto the Chernobyl disaster of
1986, the Mexican Swan fluoutbreak of 2009 and the 2011
nuclear disaster in Japan.
As for sightings of the actualmothman, they've mostly declined

(27:44):
since the late 1960s, but everyso often there is an emergence.
In 2016, a man who just moved toPoint Pleasant, spotted a
mysterious creature, jumpingfrom tree to tree.
He claimed to the localreporters that he was unaware of
the local legend of the mothman, until he allegedly spotted the
beast himself.
Now I'd like to stop for just aminute and say there's a whole

(28:06):
ass fucking statue standing inthe middle of town.
I know, I've seen it.
It's a big ass statue.
How could you not know about themothman?
Like, I mean, That's just mesaying, I'm not saying he's
lying.
I'm just saying there's a wholeass statue there.
Whether these sightings are realor not, the mothman can still be

(28:26):
seen in Point Pleasant today inthe form of a historical museum
and also in the form of a 12foot tall Chrome polished
statue.
Complete with massive steelwings and Ruby red eyes.
Furthermore, a festivalcommemorating, the mothman
visit, has taken place annuallyfor years.
A fun celebration that attractslocals and tourists alike.

(28:50):
Every September, the festivitiescelebrate one of America's
strangest legends that still haspeople scratching their heads
today.
Typically over 10,000 peopleshow up to this festival.
So I'm going to pause rightthere and tell you that this
year's festival is actually onSeptember 17th and 18th of 2022.

(29:11):
I personally am planning onattending my very first ever
Mothman Festival this year.
So I will be there and I can'twait to meet other people like
me, who just enjoy these things.
I will definitely be updatingthis podcast after I go Guys, I
just got back from traveling toThe Mothman Festival and I

(29:32):
couldn't wait to update you assoon as I could.
First of all, there was around15 to 20,000 people there.
It was so worth it.
If you ever get a chance to goto The Mothman Festival, you
really need to.
I got to hear so many amazingspeakers and I can't wait to

(29:53):
tell you some of their stories, but I need to update you on
something right now.
I met a wonderful author andresearcher named Mark Muncy.
He's written several interestingbooks that you should go check
out on different cryptids indifferent areas.
Um, he specializes in Florida.
But he's also written one on theAppalachian area.

(30:14):
And he's really gifted atresearching.
I was lucky enough to talk tohim and hear him speak and an
update he gave me had me soexcited.
So here it goes.
Okay.
I want to talk to you brieflyabout an incident that occurred
in April, 1967.
Remember the incidents thatoccurred in West Virginia were

(30:34):
in 1966.
So we're talking five or sixmonths.
In south Florida at CrestviewElementary School, hundreds of
witnesses, many who were youngchildren and still alive today,
saw UFO's over their school andhovering right across the
street.
I could go more in depth on thiswhole story at a later time, but

(30:57):
I did want to say that one ofthe kids who was still alive
today, dad.
One of the kids' dads took noteson who in the military or
government officials that hespoke to about the incident.
He had three names written down,Captain Sinclair with the Coast
Guard, Captain Smith with theAir Force.

(31:19):
And the third one was onlylisted as Government man Cold.
What?

He said,"He really didn't sayanything.

(32:00):
