It takes a lot of confidence to start a small business, but it takes even more confidence to start promoting that business.

In this week’s episode Sarah and Brian are covering how to develop the confidence to market your business and how to handle that little voice of self doubt.

Sarah shares:

-      Tips for building confidence

-      Her main tip for how to be confident in front of a crowd

Sarah is then joined by Heidi Anderson to talk confidence and marketing. Heidi has been a big brother housemate, worked on radio in Perth, she is a wife, a mother, a fellow podcaster, has walked through shopping centres with no pants on and is all about helping people being ‘memorable as fuck with their marketing’.

Heidi shares:

-      How communication is essential to confidence

-      The very first thing someone should do to start building confidence

-      How she uses special ‘challenges’ to build her confidence

Key Quotes:

“If you want to create confidence you have to be able to communicate and tell people how you feel.”

“When your speaking to yourself in a nasty way it's because you haven't healed stuff”

“We fail and then we jump on the next thing … because they are going to think we failed and we don’t want to be vulnerable and say that we need help.’
