"A few people, a few messages from a few guys here and there, everyday, it's been like 'you know what lad, you've made me realize that I can cry in front of my girlfriend. I can talk, I can reach out. I'm losing my hair lad, but I feel a little less alone, a little less stressed now cause I'm seeing you being a goofball on the internet, and you're showing us that it's fine.' It's just another thing that's happening that we can deal with."
On this edition of Alopecia Connection, meet James Morrell, a content creator and actor from England. Prior to being diagnosed with alopecia, James developed Crohn's disease which dramatically impacted his life. He became very ill, losing a significant amount of weight before adjusting to living with the disease.
Since developing alopecia and Crohn's disease, James has become an advocate for those with these conditions, raising both money and awareness. Mental health awareness has also been a focus for James, choosing to focus on the purpose we all have in our lives.
