In the news this week, Alfa Romeo sales are up in EU, down in US. The Quadrifolio is scheduled to return in EU but iffy in US.

The interview is with long time Alfa owner and automotive journalist, J. Michael Hemsley.

It took Mike four tries to get his first Alfa, a brand new ’71 Berlina, and he has owned a total of 17 Alfas.  He joined AROC in 1971 and has been a member for 54 years.  He began writing for Alfa Owner in 1980 with his column on miniature Alfas.  That expended to covering Alfas in motorsports then to motorsports in general.  Along the way, Mike became a journeyman automotive historian and has written, and is still writing articles, about rare automobiles for several magazines.  Underway is an article about the Giulia Ti Super and the Matta that were shown at the 2025 convention for Sports Car Digest.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
