First off, no shade to any of the artists mentioned in this episode. Today's episode is truly a topic of love and curiosity. With that said, we need some answers. What happened? There were times in the music world where if you had the complete package and support of the label behind you, having a hit was the ultimate goal. For some artists this was achieved. But sometimes it is even harder to follow up that success of your first hit record with another hit record and your career can begin to fizzle. Today’s episode we wanted to talk about some artists that had a promising long career but just couldn’t seem to get over the hump for one reason or another.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
