Zaki (00:01):
Okay, Zaki. Stay calm.
Stay calm. You've definitely
seen it somewhere. Where did Iput that seed?
I'm pretty sure I left it righthere under this rock. Or was it
the other rock? Do you know howrare that seed was? It's not
every day you find a seed thatsparkles in the sunlight and
(00:22):
smells like cinnamon toast.Maybe someone took it, or what
if a sneaky squirrel stole it?
Alright. I'll just wait here.I'll catch that thief red pawed.
Oh. They won't get away withthis.
I've got patience. I'll sit herefor as long as it takes. Okay.
(00:51):
This is boring. Waiting is hard.
Why didn't anyone warn me thatpatience feels like sitting
through a 3 hour lecture aboutsand? Oh, wait. It's in my nest.
I totally forgot. Found it.
Crisis averted everyone. You canrelax. I'd make a terrible
(01:13):
detective. Good thing I'm astoryteller instead.
Meraj Digital presents theamazing stories with Zaki the
Hoopoe.
Episode 14, prophet Ayyub andthe Patience.
(01:35):
Salam my wonderful listeners. It's me, Zaki, your trusty
Hoopoe bird, back with anotheramazing story. Are you ready to
hear about someone who had morepatience than a parent waiting
for their kid to stop asking, are we there yet? Well, let's
meet prophet Ayyub, peace beupon him.
(02:01):
Once upon a time, in a peacefulland filled with green fields
and clear skies, there lived akind and humble man named Ayyub.
Allah had blessed him witheverything. He was healthy,
wealthy and had a big, happyfamily. But what made Ayyub
special wasn't just hisblessings, It was how he used
them. Instead of keeping hiswealth all to himself, he gave
(02:24):
to the poor, helped the needy, and always thanked Allah.
I mean, come on. Isn't that whatwe should all do? If I had a
whole bag of seeds, I'd totallyshare all my seeds. Okay. Maybe
not all of them, but you get theidea.
But then Ayyub's life changed inways no one could imagine. It
(02:52):
all began with his wealth.Overnight, everything he owned,
his fields, his crops, and hisanimals was destroyed. A
terrible storm swept through theland, leaving nothing behind.
Can you imagine that?
All those fields he worked sohard to grow his crops, gone
(03:13):
just like that. And yet, Ayyubdidn't complain. He simply said,
Allah gives and Allah takes. Iam still grateful. Wow.
I'm pretty sure I'd be flappingmy wings in shock if that
happened to me, but it didn'tstop there. Next, Ayyub faced
(03:33):
the unthinkable. His children, whom he loved more than
anything, all passed away in atragic accident. It broke his
heart, but even then, Ayyubsaid, Allah's plan is wiser than
ours. I don't know about you,but that's the kind of
(03:54):
heartbreak no one should everhave to face. And still, Ayyub
held on to his faith. He trustedAllah, even when everything
seemed lost. Just when you thinkit couldn't get worse, Ayyub
became very sick. Painful sorescovered his body and he couldn't
move without feeling sharp pain.
(04:15):
The people in his town who onceloved him began to whisper
behind his back. Maybe he didsomething wrong, they said. Why
else would all this happen tohim? Now, that's just unfair. As
if someone's hardships mean theydeserve it, but do you know what
Ayub did?
Nothing. He didn't argue. Hedidn't shout. He just stayed
(04:37):
patient. Even when his friendsand neighbors avoided him, like
a hummingbird avoids a witheredflower, he stayed strong.
Honestly, how do people thinkthat way? It's like saying, oh,
you tripped over a pebble? Youmust have upset the pebble gods.
Ridiculous. There was one personwho never left Ayyub's side, his
(04:58):
amazing wife.
She worked hard, taking care ofhim and finding ways to support
them. She stayed by his sidethrough every storm, every pain,
and every tear. But even thestrongest need help sometimes.
After years of enduring so much,Ayyub finally prayed to Allah.
(05:22):
He said, oh Allah, I amsuffering, and you are the most
merciful.
Just one simple heartfeltprayer, and Allah responded
immediately. Allah told Ayub tostrike the ground with his foot.
When he did, a fresh spring ofwater burst out. He drank from
it, bathed in it, and poof, hishealth was restored. No more
(05:46):
pain.
No more sores. He was completelyhealed. But that's not all.
Allah didn't just restore hishealth, he blessed Ayyub with
more wealth than he had before. His fields flourished, his
animals returned, and his familygrew.
It was like the start of a brandnew life. And you know what? All
(06:07):
those people who doubted him, they learned a big lesson that
day. They saw that Allah rewardspatience and never forgets his
faithful servants. It's areminder that no matter how
tough life gets, Allah's mercyis even greater.
See? Good things really do cometo those who wait. So my
(06:33):
friends, what did we learntoday? Prophet Ayyub showed us
that patience and faith can helpus through the toughest
challenges. Even when thingsfeel impossible, Allah's help is
