Zaki (00:04):
Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no.
This is not how I wanted to
start my day. Where did I putit?
It's gotta be here somewhere.Ugh, what kind of poo poo bird
loses their own feather comb?Seriously, Zaki. You're supposed
to be the organized one. What ifmy feathers are all messy and
prophet Suleiman sees me?
I can't show up to his courtlooking like I just flew through
(00:27):
a sandstorm. It's bad enough thesparrows already call me Dusty
Zaki. Found it. Disasteraverted. Wait.
Is this no. No. No. This isn'tmy comb. It's an old pretzel
stick. Ugh. How did that evenget in there?
(00:51):
Well, I mean, waste not, wantnot. Okay. Okay.
Focus, Zaki. Deep breaths. You're about to tell the most
amazing story about, you guessedit, me and prophet Sulaiman, but
mostly me.
(01:15):
Meraj Digital presents, theamazing stories with Zaki the
Hoopoe. Episode 13, prophetSulaiman and the talking birds.
My amazing listeners. It's yourfavorite talking hoopoe bird,
(01:37):
Zaki, back again. Did you likemy little, moment earlier? You
didn't see anything, right?Anyway, today's story is extra
special because it features oneof the coolest prophets ever,
prophet Suleyman, peace be uponhim.
This guy could talk to animals.Birds like me, ants, lions, you
(02:00):
name it. And yes, yours trulygot to work with him. Oh, this
story is going to befeathertastic. Once upon a time,
in a kingdom so magnificent itwould make even castles jealous,
there lived prophet Sulaiman, awise and just king.
His palace sparkled, his peopleloved him, and his court was
(02:21):
filled with creatures of allkinds. But do you know what made
Suleiman extra special? He couldtalk to animals. Like all of
them. And trust me, animals havea lot to say.
Although between you and me,some birds really need to work
on their conversation skills, like the pigeon, always cooing
(02:43):
about bread, boring. Sulaiman'scourt was like no other. Picture
this, jinn standing tall andpowerful, humans consulting on
wise matters, and animals, yes, animals, perched, pacing, and
buzzing with news from everycorner of the earth. It was
(03:04):
bustling, majestic, and oh soorganized. Everyone had a role,
even us birds.
One day, Sulaiman called for aroyal gathering. The djinns were
there, the humans, the ants.Wait. Maybe not the ants.
They're a bit tiny for meetings, and us birds too.
We perched on his golden throne, chirping about everything from
(03:26):
weather updates to who wasstealing crumbs in the
courtyard. Then came the rollcall. Hoopo, where's my Hoopo?
Uh-oh. That's me.
And guess what? I wasn't there,but I had a very good reason. I
promise. So here's the thing. Iwasn't just taking a nap or
binge watching Sandun sunsets.
(03:47):
No. No. No. I was on a topsecret mission for Sulaiman. I
had flown all the way to Shebato scout out their queen, Queen
Bilqis .
Why? Because her people wereworshiping the sun instead of
Allah. Can you imagine? Youknow, it's kind of like when you
see someone doing something thatisn't good for them and you just
(04:08):
want to help. Sulaiman careddeeply about guiding people to
what's right because he wantedthe best for them just like any
parent or leader would.
But back to me. When I got back,Sulaiman wasn't exactly thrilled
with my, fashionably latearrival. Zaki, where have you
been? I very much hope you havea good reason for being late. I
(04:32):
puffed up my feathers, bowed lowand told him everything.
Oh Suleiman, I have seensomething you have not seen. I
came across a queen who rules amighty beautiful land. The food
is rich. The people are kind, but they are also lost. The
queen's people bow to the sun,not to Allah.
He replied to me, this isimportant, Zaki. Such a small
(04:56):
and beautiful bird brings suchheavy news to me. We must be
kind and we must act wisely. Andthat's when Suleiman handed me
the letter. I nearly passed outout when he handed the letter to
me.
Oh, friends, this was noordinary task. This was big.
Huge. I had to deliver thismessage to queen Bilqis herself.
(05:18):
Me, a tiny hoopoe bird.
But I was ready. Flying back toSheba, I thought about how
important this mission was.Sulaiman trusted me, me to carry
his message. It wasn't justabout delivering a letter, it
was about sharing truth, hopeand faith. No pressure.
(05:39):
Right? But oh boy, stayingfocused was hard. First, I saw a
flock of sparrows playing tag. They called out Hey Zaki, wanna
join? And I almost did.
But then I remembered Sulaiman'swords, This is important. So I
kept flying. Then I spotted asparkling stream below. It
(06:01):
looked so refreshing and Ithought, maybe just one quick
dip. But no, I shook my feathersand kept going.
Zaki, I told myself, you have ajob to do. Oh, and don't even
get me started on the berry bushI passed. Those berries looked
so juicy but I resisted. I'm aHoopoe on a mission after all.
(06:25):
You know sometimes we getdistracted by little things but
when we focus on what reallymatters, we can accomplish great
things.
And this mission, it mattered. After flying for days and days I
arrived at Queen Bilquis'palace. I landed right in the
courtyard. The guards staredconfused. What's this bird doing
here?
(06:45):
But I wasn't just any bird, Iwas Zucky, the royal messenger.
I dropped the letter at Bilqis'feet with style. Thank you very
much. Bilqis opened the letter. It was beautifully written,
inviting her to recognize Allah, the one true God and to meet
(07:06):
Suleyman.
But here's the thing kids,Sulaiman was very kind and nice
in his letter. He didn't yell ather or be mean for bowing to the
sun. He showed the best mannersby welcoming her with kindness
and by being nice. This madequeen Bilqis curious. So
curious, in fact, that shedecided to visit Suleyman
(07:28):
herself.
When Bilqis saw Sulaiman'swisdom, kindness, and the way he
treated everyone, big or small, with respect, she knew the
truth. Sulaiman's behavior andmanners really opened queen
Bilqis' eyes. She turned toAllah, leaving behind her old
ways. It was such a powerfulmoment, a moment full of heart.
(07:51):
You know, it's not easy tochange your mind or admit when
you've been wrong.
It takes strength, wisdom, andhumility, and that's what made
Bilqis and Sulaiman so amazing. And let's not forget me, without
this little hoopoe bird, whoknows what would have happened.
So my friends, what can we learnfrom this story? 1st, even the
(08:12):
smallest of us. Yes.
Even a little bird like me canmake a big difference when we're
responsible and focused. 2nd,it's never too late to change.
Queen Bilqis showed us that whenwe open our hearts to truth,
amazing things can happen. Andfinally, trust is a gift.
Suleiman trusted me with thismission and I didn't let him
(08:34):
down.
Prophet Suleiman, Queen Bilqisand yours truly, we make a
pretty amazing team, don't we?This story reminds us that even
the smallest among us can make abig difference when we're
responsible and stay focused. But don't fly away just yet
because next time, we're divinginto a story full of strength,
(08:55):
faith and patience. In our nextepisode, we'll meet prophet Ayub
who faced some of the toughestchallenges and never lost his
trust in Allah. It's aninspiring story you won't want
to miss.
Until then, stay kind, staycurious, and remember, every
challenge is a chance to grow.Till next time, salaam, my
(09:17):
wonderful friends.
