Meraj Digital presents, TheAmazing Stories with Zaki the
Hoopoe. Episode 15, prophetYahya and the promise.
(01:36):
Salam. Salam, my wonderfulfriends. It's me, Zaki, your
favorite Hoopoe bird. I'm sohappy you're here today. Have
you ever made a promise? Maybeto help your parents, share your
toys with a friend, or evenfinish your homework on time.
Promises are very special. Doyou know why? A promise is like
a tiny seed you plant insomeone's heart. When you keep
(01:59):
it, it grows into something bigand beautiful like trust, love,
or happiness. It shows peoplethat they can count on you just
like you can count on them.
And you know, promises aren'tjust for kids. Grown ups make
them too. Have you ever noticedhow your parents might promise
(02:19):
to take you to the park or getyou your favorite treat? And
even when it seems like they'resuper busy somehow, they always
come through. Sometimes it feelslike a little miracle, doesn't
it?
Now, speaking of promises, letme tell you about someone who
showed us just how powerful theycan be. His name was prophet
(02:40):
Yahya, peace be upon him. And hemade a promise to Allah that
changed everything. So fluffyour feathers and get comfy.
It's story time.
Long ago, in a peaceful townsurrounded by rivers and hills,
a baby boy was born to prophetZechariah and his wife. They
(03:05):
named him Yahya. And from themoment he was born, it was clear
he was no ordinary child. Whileother kids were busy playing,
Yahya spent his time learning, helping others, and being the
kindest boy in town. Can youimagine someone so kind that
everyone wanted to be hisfriend?
(03:25):
Yahya's parents taught him tolove Allah and live a life of
truth. And Yahya didn't justlisten, he lived it every single
day. Even as a young boy, healways kept his promises no
matter how small. When Yahyagrew older, Allah gave him an
important mission, to remindpeople of their promises to
(03:47):
Allah. Yahya was chosen to guidethem back to kindness, honesty,
and worship of Allah alone.
But it wasn't easy. Many peoplehad forgotten Allah and were
more interested in wealth andpower. They didn't want to
change their ways and some evenmocked Yahya for his message.
Imagine trying to tell someonesomething so important and they
(04:09):
just laugh at you. But Yahyadidn't give up.
He spoke with wisdom and lovereminding people that Allah's
mercy was always there for thosewho returned to him. Yahya's
message started to touch hearts. Some people began to change,
realizing that keeping theirpromises to Allah could bring
(04:29):
them true peace. As prophetYahya continued his mission, his
honesty and dedication toAllah's message upset a powerful
ruler. This ruler wanted Yahyato approve something that was
very wrong and unfair.
(04:52):
Yahya knew it was againstAllah's laws, so he refused. He
stood tall and brave even whenthe ruler threatened him. The
ruler became angry. So angrythat he decided to stop Yahya
from speaking forever. ButYahya's courage didn't waver.
He knew that standing up fortruth and keeping his promise to
Allah was the right thing to do.Even though
Seagull (05:13):
Yahya's life on Earth
came to an end, his
Zaki (05:13):
story didn't stop there.
Life on Earth came to an end,
his story didn't stop there. Hisbravery inspired countless
people to remember Allah andstay true to their promises.
Yahya showed us that living withhonesty and faith is the
greatest way to honor Allah.Yahya's courage teaches us
(05:35):
something very special.
Keeping our promises to Allahisn't always easy, but it's
always worth it. Even whenthings get hard, we can remember
Yahya's story and find strengthto do what's right. And do you
know what? Yahya's story remindsme that even small promises like
(05:57):
helping a friend or being honestcan make a big difference in the
world. What promises will youkeep today?
Next time, I'll tell you a storyof a very special prophet.
Actually, it's about when he wasa baby. It's more of a story
about his mother and his sister, and a river. I've said too much.
(06:17):
I'll leave it at that. Untilthen, remember to keep your
promises and stay as brave asprophet Yahya. Salam.
