Plus, growing concerns over the rise of roving violent gangs in U.S. cities, like in Cincinnati, where a married couple were beaten to a pulp in public view.

(00:11):
All right, welcome back to America TODAY.
Jim Watkins. I'm your host.
Don't forget the podcast you canfind on Spotify or any podcast
platform. And you can also go to the
website jimwatkins.org. And we are talking with Michael
Letts. He is the Invest usa.org founder
and CEO, an organization that provides life protecting best

(00:31):
for law enforcement and 1st responders.
And we're talking about the newsand of course we talked about
the New York shooter. I want to make a couple of
points here. It's interesting that CNN was
hesitant to identify the shooteras being black.
In fact, they actually made a point, went out of the way to

(00:52):
say he was white when clearly hewas not white.
But then there was another case where this couple, I don't know
if it was Philadelphia maybe or maybe maybe somewhere in that
area and they were beaten by a bunch of rowdy teens.
And we're starting to see a lot of rowdy teen gangs all over the
place. They just picked their targets,

(01:13):
right? It's been going on for a couple
years. And and they down the media
downplayed it not as a hate crime, which is what I think it
was because this couple of this man, this husband was getting
beaten. And I'm not sure what the
motivation was. Wrong place, wrong time.
And and then when the wife triedto defend her husband, they all
beat her to a pulp and it's all caught on video.

(01:37):
And that's not a hate crime. I don't understand.
Exactly right it was. It was in Cincinnati, OH.
And Cincinnati. I've looked at the footage and
quite frankly, they were walkingthrough a mob area, shall we
say. But this is what I want you to
be aware of. This is not a one time instance.
It has occurred. They have covered it up.
It occurs almost weekly in Cincinnati and we are getting

(02:01):
the attention to the administration.
We would not tolerate that. We will send in federal
authorities if we have to. Yeah, and we're seeing more of
it. You were talking earlier, you
know, you are also a chaplain. And I hope you don't mind me
disclosing that you are a man ofthe cloth, a man of God.
And, and you also occasionally will give sermon at your local

(02:23):
church in your neighborhood, which is wonderful.
But what do you tell the young kids today?
And what do you see? Do you see less young kids
showing up? You see a lot less young kids
showing up, although I would tell you in the last three or
four months, it's beginning to be reversed.
They're beginning to come more. We're putting a greater outreach

(02:43):
for them. And why do I think that's the
case? I think you've had 4 1/2 years
of realizing just when there's no respect for anything, when
there are no values or principles, how degenerate life
can become because they can be the next victim.
Just walking down the street, you happen to turn the corner,
you're in the wrong place at thewrong time.
You could just not be that of you for no reason.

(03:04):
So they're beginning to to to question and I'm beginning to
say, is this what life is all about?
Is there something better? And so I'm encouraged by that,
but I, it's going to be a long road.
Just like I was telling the previous show earlier today, we
were talking about New York. This, the level of the depravity
and corruption that we have allowed this country to fall to,

(03:27):
is going to take time to turn itaround.
Well, it has to start somewhere and at some time, you know,
people are getting disenchanted with their government, maybe
with their institutions, and they have a right to be pissed.
By the way, I think that most people today watching how the
supposedly the powerful and the elite and the way they behave

(03:47):
with each other, protecting eachother, issuing lies and
propaganda. Big news came out of San
Francisco. I think it was or maybe.
Yeah. A pilot got arrested as soon as
a Delta airline. Turns out he was involved in
child abuse porn. It was an interesting twist to
this as one of the airline passengers on that plane, a

(04:11):
woman and probably her name was Karen, she thought that it was
an ice arrest and she she tried to intervene telling let that
man go. He's turns out he's he's into
child porn, but there's a big something must have happened
recently where think something was exposed.
Is there some background to thisDragna that's going on across

(04:34):
the country with people who are in?
Child porn, yes, we have targeted made that one of our
our primary objectives was to destroy the pedophilia ring,
which is one of the largest in the world here in America.
And I used to say it was just because we were a pastor.
We're more than a pastor now andthat's that is just really

(04:56):
corrupted and abusing. Used to be when I said the
pastor, you take all the illegalimmigrant kids and run them
through, put them on the black market.
Now there's now they're kidnapping and taking our
children as well, which we expected.
That's just how that industry grows.
And so you have seen how we havedone more child sex trafficking

(05:17):
operations in the last six months than I think have been
done in decades combined. And so we are making sure we
target because every time we hitone, we get a drug drove of
names and targets where they're at.
We go and rescue the kids. We go up and pick up more than
involved in this. It's international, but we're

(05:39):
going to break it, I can assure you.
All right, let's move on becausewe're our time is short.
I want you to listen to this clip.
This is from attorney Brad Edwards.
He represented over 200 of Jeff Jeffrey Epstein's victims.
Here's what he had to say about Donald Trump.
I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person

(06:01):
who in 2009, when I served a lotof subpoenas on a lot of people
or at least gave notice to some pretty connected people that I
was going that I wanted to talk to them.
He is the only person who pickedup the phone and said, let's
just talk. I'll give you as much time as
you want. I'll tell you what you need to
know. And was very helpful in the

(06:22):
information that he gave and gave no indication whatsoever
that he was involved in anythinguntoward whatsoever, but had
good information that checked out and that helped us and that
we didn't have to take a deposition of him.
That was in 2009. That was in 2009 it.
Said it doesn't sound like a guilty man to me but I also want
to ask you a question Yesterday there was an entanglement about

(06:44):
Trump saying that he never went to the island where Epstein's
island and somebody brought up the point that Epstein used used
to come to Mera Lago and then hegot kicked out persona non grata
for hassling his employees. Is it not true that the real
distinguishing thing that in andTrump has not said it publicly,
but a member of his own family was approached by Epstein and

(07:07):
that's what what broke their relationship up?
Because you're not hearing it. And it made me think Trump is
protecting a member of his family by not telling that
story. But if people knew that story,
they would understand exactly what the relationship is between
Epstein and Trump. You are accurate.
And here is the situation because of the fact that I've

(07:31):
seen Jeffrey was a member of theclub before his background was
known. And you remember this gets back
into how he was organized. It was definitely intelligence
agencies, not just here but abroad.
They were funding all these operations and he was a member
there. And of course, he used that
membership to approach especially there are a lot of

(07:54):
young girls that work there at the at the club in terms of
towel, you know, I mean, you forget the golf shop, etcetera,
etcetera. And I, he did talk to one of
the, you know, presidents, family members approached it and
that's all it took and would be the same for you.
And I you messed with one of my daughters and try.
I mean you don't even get the chance to even make an attempt
at it. You better be glad you got out

(08:16):
with your life. Yeah, yeah.
And that's the story that that the news press, you're hearing
this if you're listening to thisshow, you're not hearing this
anywhere else. But that I think is the the
background that that Trump is using discretion, which again,
is the better part of valor. All right, So we don't have a
lot of time to talk about the Obama gate, which I want to get

(08:37):
to. But the good news is Michael
Letts will be back on Wednesday and continue with the update on
what's happening in our nationalsecurity.
Got about a minute? What's on your radar, Michael?
The biggest thing radar right now is, quite frankly, we have
to make sure that we as Americans begin to unite behind

(08:58):
righteousness. And here's what I mean by that.
You're taking a look every day almost now, stabbing shootings,
mass shootings, etcetera. Folks, we've become a very
violent country because we've allowed the mainstream media to
lie to us, to tell us America's bad, America's evil, when it's
not. And it's time for reunite.
Remember, we're all Americans and we want one thing.

(09:20):
We want a place that we can raise our children.
You can't raise children in a place that doesn't have values
and principles. We're going to have to go after
our educational system. We have to free it from the
unions, and we're going to have to make sure that we allow it to
teach our children to be responsible.
God bless you, Jim, and God Bless America.
All right. Thank you, Michael.
Let's with us. He'll be back tomorrow at the
same time you're listening to America TODAY.
