(00:14):
On my latest podcast, it's entitled On the Eve of History,
and I specifically chose that title because number one, I
believed it in watching much of the coverage on Monday of the
president with the world leadersand Vladimir Zelensky and they
were doing the deal and we are here.
Welcome to America Today. I am Jim Watkins, I am your

(00:36):
humbled host and we are excited to have on Michael Letts, who
has been all this time our national security expert.
He's got a lot of a lot of things that he knows about a lot
of areas of expertise that we tap into on a regular basis.
He's also the CEO and founder ofInvest usa.org.
Michael Letts, I know it's been a long couple of days for you.

(01:00):
Your initial assessments, How did things go yesterday for
Donald Trump, President Trump? They went, they went, they went
exceptionally well. We're making great progress.
There are other there's a few key areas yet to iron out.
We can kind of briefly go over with some of those workhorse.
Let's talk about the positive first.

(01:21):
Initially, Putin has had this position for decades.
Ukraine could not be a part of NATO.
Now, you know, the Biden administration did everything
they could to make them a part of NATO, breaking the promises
of previous administrations and putting Putin in a very
defensive mode because obviouslyhe didn't want to have NATO with

(01:45):
tanks sitting half a block away from a border to be able to move
in and invade Russia. Not that we ever would, but you
understand that NATO represents all the alliances, including the
United States. And the pact with NATO is you
pick along one or one takes action.
We all take action. So that was a real threat to

(02:06):
Putin. So, you know, when Biden
administration was pushing that, that's one of the reasons why
they went to war. That's why he made such a
prolific statement that had Trump been president, he
wouldn't be sitting here today, there would be no war, but by
the administration got us into this mess and now we're trying
to figure it out. So it was reaffirmed by Trump

(02:28):
then, no, we will not allow Ukraine to be a part of NATO.
Now you got Zelensky that wants to be a part of NATO, that wants
the security of protection from all the European nations in the
United States. President had our, you know,
suggestion that Putin initially rejected, but he's coming around

(02:51):
and that is this is how we're working out the details.
We'll talk about this in a minute.
All the money that we spent overthere and the nefarious actions
and taking that money, the criminality, etcetera, etcetera.
Bottom line is this President feels very strongly that money
was not utilized for what we allocated it for.

(03:12):
We want it back. Of course you're going to have
those Zelensky saying we don't have any money.
Where are you going to get it from?
So the president has a very powerful idea.
We've talked about it before. Ukraine has some of the most
enriched minerals that deposits anywhere in the world, stuff we

(03:33):
pay top dollar for from China and other locations.
So the President has suggested that we do a partnership with
Ukraine. We will come in, we will provide
the expertise, the necessary machinery, etcetera, and mine
those precious metals. I'm just going to use a
hypothetical. Let's just say it's $10.00 an

(03:54):
ounce. Instead of paying 10, because
now we're involved, we will pay 5.
We will split the cost or even more.
You'll get something back, Ukraine.
But what are we doing with the rest of that money that's coming
from the generals? We're paying back what was so
egregiously taken from our treasury under false pretenses.

(04:18):
And of course, there's always a push back for that out.
It should be all our money. But I think they realize that
you're going to get a rich resolution of this matter.
There's going to be give and take.
And then of course, from Russia standpoint, Russia wants to keep
some of the territory. Zelensky has always said no,
They don't get a a single bit ofit.

(04:39):
The problem with that scenario, Jim, is this.
What did you do with the territory, Zelensky, when you
had it in Ukraine? Well, you allow bioweapon, your
facilities to be built on it close to the border of Russia.
You allow headquarters for child, child sex trafficking
there. Yeah, Actually trafficking some

(04:59):
Russian children now that he's not very happy about that,
talking about public traffickingsome Russian children.
And so quite frankly, the Putin is not excited about giving all
that property back that you use for nefarious purposes and he's
not going to. Now we had taken a position in

(05:22):
the past that no, we were supporting Zielinski and there
would be no property exchange. However, as I mentioned, I think
last week with you, yeah, my days are working together.
I can't remember whether we talked about this on your show
or not. You know, we had put together an
audit committee with the blessing of Zielinski and with

(05:44):
the participation of Ukraine to track down every dime that we
have given either in dollars or in military assets.
So we will know where did it allgo because right now, as of this
moment, nobody can answer that question.
You know, public Zelensky agreed.
But then three to four days ago,he suddenly withdrew.

(06:08):
No, we're not going to participate in any audits.
We're not going to tell you where your money went.
So that changed the mindset of this administration.
So now we are talking with Putinnow, Hey, don't be greedy.
You're not going to get all the property that you took.
But maybe, perhaps there is a need for some buffers, some

(06:29):
zones, some buffer areas? I do want.
To ask you. I do want to ask you, because in
talking about this one region, the Donetsk and the Don Bass and
all that, what we've heard a little bit about it, but not
enough in my opinion, what is the de notification element that
Putin, he wants to de notify Ukraine?

(06:50):
What is he talking about? Well, most people don't realize
that Ukraine went after the World War 2.
There is a huge element of Nazisthat migrated there and still
very firmly believe in the Nazi philosophy.

(07:13):
And that's where their majority of the congregation and their
followers are AT. And so he wants a buffer to make
sure that, first of all, if you're a Nazi in that area,
you're not going to stay there. Second of all, he wants enough
distance in between that if theywere to decide to create their
own militia or try to what we would call guerrilla warfare

(07:36):
tactics on the Russian people, they feel very comfortable.
They can just go in and clean itup.
And he is insistent on that because of the fact that we do
know that there is no dispute about whether there's an awful
lot of folks that have resettledthere who have a very great

(07:56):
sympathy for Nazis. And so it makes common sense
that because understanding history now, we haven't tried
this in from a historical standpoint.
Look at what happened in World War 2 between Russian people and
the Nazis. Nazis brutalized him, of course,
you know, when Russia was part of the Allied system and they

(08:18):
came and made their way all the way to Berlin, They did some
retaliation I'm I'm sure as well.
But there's a great distaste, distrust and hatred between
those two. And so the President Putin's
going to make sure that they can't take, have a launching pad
to go in and terrorize the Russian people.
And that's why he says, I'm not willing to just have gone in,

(08:41):
cleaned it out to begin with andthen turn around, hand it back
and then go home. We're going to have to have some
kind of good verification that there is a buffer zone and we
can feel confident that we can protect Russian people from any
Nazis of movement, that they continue to arise.
Let's we got to take a quick break.

(09:02):
I want to continue our discussion.
We are talking with Michael Letts.
He is the CEO and founder of Invest usa.org.
He also is a former Green Beret Special Forces top cop South
Carolina, just a go to guide fora lot of people in positions of
influence who seek his counsel. And we will continue to do just
that as we continue with AmericaToday.

(09:24):
This segment of the program is brought to you by the wonderful
folks at Southwest Florida dreamhome.com, the exclusive
sponsor of America Today. If you are looking for a new
chapter in your life, perhaps Florida is the key.
And there's some great opportunities even now.
So the first step is to venture onto the website
southwestfloridadreamhome.com. Once again, Southwest Florida

(09:48):
dreamhome.com. Let the journey begin.
We'll continue with ours as we talk with Michael Letts on
America Today. I'm Jim Watkins.
Hang on. You know, I, I Michael, I could

(10:10):
not help thinking about the TV show The Apprentice.
Bring you back memories. Yeah, because, you know, I mean,
that show was all about, you know, here's the task at hand,
who can do the best job, Show methe results.
And then if you do well, we'll, we'll keep you.

(10:30):
And I and I thought this is the man that orchestrated that that
whole television show, which washugely, you know, popular.
And there he is. He's doing the deal.
He has masterminded the art of the deal.
He has commanded the presence think.
I mean, when, when, when Putin and Trump met Friday, I mean,

(10:52):
they announced the Zelensky meeting on Monday.
And out of nowhere, all the sudden these Learjets are
leaving Europe in droves. We're not going to let them all
have a conversation without us being there.
And, and he the way he orchestrated it, he allowed
everybody to talk. I love Maloney from Italy.
She's now famous for rolling hereyes every time she sees

(11:15):
something that disgusts her. Every time she looks at Macron,
she rolls her eyes. The German Mertz was talking and
she was rolling her eyes, but you could tell she really likes
Trump. She was sitting right next to
him on his left, and she was just, you could tell she was
impressed as I was. I think a lot of people were, of
course, except for the people who don't like him.

(11:37):
But I thought it was a master class stroke and bringing all
those people together in the name of peace, making it almost
seem possible that we can do this.
It's for the history books. Were you there?
Well, yeah, thinking what what the biggest thing that that you
will see that happened was when Zelensky backed out of providing
what we wanted, that's accountability.

(11:59):
And the president said, fine, we'll just we've got a meeting
with Putin. You've got you're not invited
anymore. Zelensky was de invited, by the
way. He was de invited to the event.
To to, to to the initial meeting.
So when we had the when we had the initial meeting and Zelinsky
is of course, begging, he is blowing the phone up.

(12:21):
You know, what's going on, what's going on, what's going
on? And he saw that progress was
being made and we were now considering, oh, maybe Russia
should keep some of that property.
Maybe there's some political here.
Boy, he said, you know, how fastcan I get to the to the White
House? And of course, we knew good.
Well, when he wanted to get to the White House, he wouldn't be
coming alone because NATO is involved with it.

(12:42):
You have to understand this is something not being reported
anywhere. We're talking about getting
accountability for the American dollars that were spent.
But our Intel indicates that some of that money didn't just
come back to the United States. We're going to talk about that,
but also went to do it to NATO. So NATO is sitting here saying,
oh, we're putting our money up. No, you actually were stealing

(13:04):
our money and putting our money up.
And so now everybody's wanting to scramble to make sure that
they can help monitor the narrative and what comes out as
this begins to unfold We're. Talking.
Billion right now. Well, I you just say billions is
trillions now is now come up. And so because of that, This is

(13:27):
why you hear me chuckle. Yeah, everybody wants to make
sure don't don't forgive me. I want, I want to explain what
happened and make sure you get it right.
And don't think I I did that, you know, trying to hurt you,
etcetera, etcetera. So they're all family.
Now I see. Yeah.
OK. In other words, he's he's
looking at receipts and trying to figure out where where the
money trail leads. He knows.

(13:48):
They know that he knows, but they can't admit that they know
that he knows. And they're all scrambling,
going, oh, this is out of control.
We're losing control of this narrative and.
That's why you're seeing Lezinsky realize, Lezinsky
realize it. Well, I'm no longer calling the
shots now, am I? I guess I better start being

(14:08):
more cooperative and start figuring out how we bring this
matter to closure. Because if we don't bring a
closure with some smiles, they're going to come after us.
And NATO recognizes as well. Yeah, devastating that would be
to when these facts, when I didn't say, yeah, when these
facts come out that your good friends, Jim, that you thought

(14:31):
were or had your back, were stealing your back.
They didn't have your back at all.
You know, the IT, it, do you think that, I mean, this is the
speculation from the globalist. They want the war to continue.
Do you think that NATO wants thewar to continue?
Because it for one question, Europe, we know Germany, France,

(14:53):
England, they're having severe money problems, energy problems.
They and and they want this. This war would be good for them
politically. Politically and economically,
that's the most important is economically.
This is what goes we've talked about on your show before the
military industrial complex. You know, we're trying to think
that's an American industry. It is a predominant American

(15:17):
industry, but it's a world industry and that doesn't do
anybody any good at the.com. Flag someone to sell their arms.
So what's the next step? What happens now?
We are now scheduling a meeting. We've got obviously very
different response from Zelenskyand NATO, NATO leaders and now

(15:40):
realizing that they're, you know, they're in a box,
basically they're in a, they're in a rock and a hard place.
So we're now scheduling the meeting, which will happen very
shortly here between Putin, Zelensky, and I'm sure that
there'll be plenty of cell phonecalls in the bathroom giving
advice from the NATO to try to bring this matter to a closure.

(16:01):
And it's going to come to a closure.
Now, again, understand they're still positioning and understand
that we have not forgotten. We want accountability.
And that's like going teeth right now when we are getting
the teeth pulled. And then that's going to be a
whole nother issue. Hold on the second, because you

(16:22):
remember this accountability we've talked about on your show.
We send money over there. They take their percentage.
So the linsky take some personally.
They take some, they spread it around some of the other corrupt
government officials. They take a dime out of it by a
couple bullets, and they send the rest of it back to NGOs in
the United States who give it tomembers of Congress who serve on

(16:43):
their boards or to NATO. And we're going to find out
exactly how much. And this is overwhelmingly
substantial. Well, for the what is the key
out of what? Yeah.
For the record, Michael Letts has long asserted that the
Ukraine and Russia conflict has turned into a global money
laundering scheme. And you're not backing down from

(17:04):
that. And and I believe that that sort
of gives the motive for what allthese people are looking for
when they were in Washington yesterday.
Not. It's not about.
Peace. Yeah, it's about saving people,
saving face and seeing what we can do to minimize the damage.
I still would like you to keep your valve, your water valve
turned on. Maybe you can reduce the

(17:25):
pressure. Maybe we don't get as much.
But I still would like to see ifwe can get some.
And we're just not going to playthose games anymore.
Now, one other quick thing I want to add that I want to
understand the complexity of this, this issue.
Congress is not stupid. The smart people you remember
you can give money $10 to a nonprofit.

(17:46):
A nonprofit can pay its board members all their are
legalities. It doesn't look good, but it can
be done. So the question is going to be
even though trillions now what we what we are showing not
billions. Trillions have been removed from
the treasury was there? Can you prove a crime in doing
so? And that's going to be the key.

(18:09):
All right. And so Michael, let's invest
usa.org is his website. It is a great website.
It helps law enforcement officers receive free of charge
bulletproof vest. They're provided by the
donations that people like you and I make to invest usa.org.
I don't know if you have. Yeah, we can we go one more
segment. There's other things in the

(18:29):
news. I want to talk about ICE.
I also want to talk about DC. And I also want to talk about
the big change that's going on in the military, which is
phenomenal news thanks to Pete Eggseth.
So we can get to all that in just a moment.
Don't forget, this program is brought to you by Southwest
Florida, dreamhome.com. Southwest Florida dreamhome.com.

(18:50):
All right, you're in DC, Michael.
And how does it feel when you'rewalking around?
Does it feel like night and day?Oh, it feels like during dream
night and day, let me tell you, you, it's a feeling that every
American should have constantly. And that is that this country is
safe and secure, and you have the freedoms that were

(19:11):
guaranteed by our forefathers toactually live like you want to
live. It is an embarrassment when you
go to a lot of major cities now,you know, in a short span of
say, 10 to 15 years, they've just really gone to rot.
Whether it's Portland, I'm sorry, folks.
I, I hate to say this. Now I will say that the city of

(19:32):
Roses, it is a beautiful place, but it's been destroyed by the
inner city policies that have allowed vagrancy and drug
addiction and crime to rise in. Its a besmirchment on the
American dream. We'll continue just a moment.
You're listening to America TODAY.

(20:11):
All right, welcome back And we are America today, Jim Watkins
with my guest Michael left. We're doing a third segment
because there's just so much going on in our country.
He is with the president in the in the Washington, in
Washington, DC You've seen it with your own eyes.
People are are going out at night having dinner.
I was reading about some national news guy, he said.

(20:33):
I took my, I think it was Bill O'Reilly, he says.
I took my wife out to dinner forthe first time in three years
and felt safe. I mean, that's a remarkable
thing. The interesting.
I know this has nothing to do with you, Michael, but it is
interesting that MSNBC is no more.
And I think that is a very significant cultural event which

(20:55):
declares maybe perhaps that thatperiod now that woke period of,
of America is dead. I hope so.
You're you're exactly right, Jim.
And here's how to kind of finishoff that statement.
You know, we allowed, for lack of a better word, because we
just get involved on conservatives, We allow this
country to be taken over by socialist, progressive, leftist

(21:19):
ideology. And then we all got to live
under it for the last four years.
So we realized how close we're coming to losing everything that
we love. And now we're rejecting those,
not just the philosophy, we're rejecting those who were
espousing it. A lot of that's the mainstream
media. I think that's the first of many
to come with MSNBC. Yeah, Now there are coalitions
forming around the country that are going and taking on

(21:42):
hospitals and clinics where theydo children mutilation under the
guise of whatever nonsense they're pushing.
I think people are waking up, you know, the left.
Maybe we could save it for another discussion.
Maybe we'll save it for tomorrow.
But I think the perception, I was watching this movie with Ed

(22:02):
Sullivan, who was doing a thing about Ed Sullivan, and half of
the movie was about all the racism that was going on in the
country. It was like two different
movies. And it occurred to me, it's the
left that thinks people are racist.
It's the left that thinks that conservatives are evil.
It's the left that thinks that religion is bad.

(22:23):
It's the left that thinks that family is discriminatory and,
and, and archaic. These are the ones that seem to
have this false illusion of whatlife should be in their eyes.
So we'll save that for another day.
There's breaking news about Michael Pence.
So tell me what's going on with Michael Pence?

(22:44):
Big news. Well, here, big news.
Tulsi in bless her heart, she's doing a great job.
We're just making sure we keep her safe right now.
Tulsi has discovered additional intelligence that was buried
that they thought they had destroyed.
You remember these burn bags that never got fulfilled, never
got burned have been a divulge of information that they thought

(23:06):
they had long since destroyed. Not just the burn bags but on
computer files that they thoughtthey had buried.
AD and I and other locations that told he's having all of her
experts now intelligence go backand research and pull anything
we can retrieve. Some of the shocking things we
just found communication betweenMike Pence and what I call a

(23:29):
whole system of attempting aid to undermine Trump during his
administration the minute he took office and be being a part
of making sure that they finish off the destruction by rigging
an election. And yes, you're going to see I'm
not getting off of that kick because it's not a kick.

(23:50):
We have the documentation. You will be seeing it
forthcoming. I realize there are some people
that sued managed to scare the silence, but I hope they enjoyed
their their, their time in the limelight because justice is
coming and Mike Pence is a part of that.
And that's just it's, it's disheartened to think that
somebody, you guys, your back isyour vice president is actually

(24:12):
trying to stab you. So what specifically do we know
at this point that Mike Pence isallegedly, allegedly has done?
He knew exactly what was being transpired for the January 6th,
whether the guard was going to be allowed to come how is being
blocked, how they were staging it.

(24:34):
There were no just only Jim, youand I know this.
If there is a real insurrection, you would have you brought in
force to take over and then you to maintain a position of
defense. There is no force issued at all.
And then we know that the testimonies were buried.
We know that the tapir had January 6th Committee members

(24:58):
are sweating the bullets now. They destroyed evidence and that
is a federal crime. And we here is the biggest
problem that we're encountering. There is so much that has been
the fairest and evil and wrong. The question is where do you
start and how many people can you get to help prosecute all
this? You take just the resources we
have now. We're going to be doing this for

(25:18):
the next 100 years. Well, you're right, because the
Jan 6 appears more and more to be a staged event by Nancy
Pelosi, ET al. And I remember.
Yeah. And that would make sense.
That would be a puzzle that would fit because he was the
one. You remember that whole thing?

(25:38):
We're going to hang Mike Pence and he's sitting being coward in
an office somewhere. You know, my, my initial
observation is that he had a lotto gain by President Trump
failing. And it would not surprise me to
to have that as a motivator for him because he could have very
and I always wonder why didn't he take it back to the states?

(26:00):
There was plenty of evidence to show that there was malfeasance,
plenty of evidence. And now all that's coming to
light with the burn bags. And they just arrested two more
people in Texas this week for deliberately stuffing mailboxes.
And they got their cut. So it was there, even though the
media was telling it, telling usit was not there.
And Mike Pence should have knownthat.

(26:22):
He should have sent it back to the states, and he didn't.
And, and, and that makes me think something suspicious about
him. Let's get over to maybe.
Work with Bill Barr to do that as well, yeah.
So you're right, it's going to take a long time to unravel and
I hope Americans don't lose their attention span on this one
because it's it it plays to the integrity of our, I hate to say
this, our democracy, all right, and our Republic and our

(26:45):
Republic, All right. So let's get over to, first of
all, what ice is really what's up with doxing Now I know I may
be a little bit late to the game, but did they dox
Christino? She has to stay under.
That is correct because citizens, who's doxing who?

(27:06):
Who is responsible for the doxing?
Well, again, let's put it in theterminology.
You have what we call the leftist liberal organization.
Some people call it cabal, some people call it, you know,
whatever you want to call it. But they are determined to make
sure that they not just stop Trump administration's policies,

(27:29):
but begin to undo them. And what they're doing is
they're utilizing all their resources, including doxing ICE,
doxing administration members. And we have enough crazy people
out there that when you put thatout there and say these people
are destroying your country, don't you love it?
Go after them And they do. And we, we are concerned for
their safety, whether it's Tulsior there is Christie.

(27:53):
And here's what we're having to do with Christie right now.
We're having to put her on military installations,
guarantee her security. She can't actually roam the
streets like you and I can. That's a shame.
But we're going to make sure here that we have done.
Most people don't realize this. We are finding out who's doing
the gossip from that. Or there are some legislators

(28:13):
that have actually done. They will be facing probably
today, maybe in them all indictments that are coming
down. They're going to be held
accountable for their actions. We're going to have to take a
hard line stance with this because it's not just a high
profile like Christie. They're Daxing agents.
Can you imagine? We don't pay law enforcement
that much to begin with. Now they have to worry about

(28:35):
their family because of the job that we're asking them to do.
There's absolutely no excuse forthat, Jim.
Yeah, I mean, these are Americancitizens that are doing the job
of law enforcement trying to make people don't understand
that these people that they're picking up everywhere are are
many of them are hardened, murderous, vicious criminals.

(28:55):
And and you've got this group ofpeople that want to protect them
just because of the color of their skin.
And it makes them feel like they're somehow virtuous, as if
they're playing the role of freeing the Jews in 1934
Germany. And it just ain't.
So anyway, we've got more to talk about tomorrow.
I want to talk about the revamped military and the impact
that's having and why, because that's a bit of good news as

(29:18):
well. Maybe you can give us some light
on this strange case out of California involving 2 parents
and their missing daughter. That's kind of a strange case.
Yeah, I'm sure you have some Intel on that as well.
So we'll talk to you again, Michael.
Let's invest usa.org is his organization that provides
bulletproof vests to law enforcement and 1st responders,

(29:38):
and it ain't free. So if you want to be kind today,
Invest usa.org. Michael, let's we'll talk to you
again tomorrow at the same time right here on the same channel.
So thank you again, Sir. Thank you.
