BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE EPISODE:
How many of us have been tempted to choose a faith journey where we can avoid persecution and suffering? In today's podcast episode, we will study the lives of the Old Testament saints Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to dispel unbiblical expectations about earthly suffering. We will also learn to hold steadfastly to Christ during faith challenges. Our foundational scriptural passage for today's podcast episode is Daniel 3:17-18~ "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and He will deliver us from Your Majesty's hand. But even if He does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
