TALK TO ME, TEXT IT

The brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk has left the conservative movement reeling, searching for answers in a time of increasing political violence. What could drive someone to murder a man whose approach to debate was marked by gentleness, logic, and respect? This question hangs heavy throughout this raw, emotional reflection on Kirk's life and the troubling circumstances surrounding his death.

We examine the FBI investigation, including the surveillance footage showing the suspect's rooftop escape, while questioning why certain details are being released through tabloid outlets before official channels. The commodification of tragedy through leaked Ring camera footage sold to media outlets represents a disturbing trend in how we process violent events.

The conversation expands to address the broader issue of radicalization affecting America's youth. From inflammatory rhetoric by elected officials who casually throw around terms like "Nazi" and "white supremacist" to social media algorithms that create echo chambers, multiple factors contribute to a climate where political violence becomes justified in vulnerable minds. Particularly troubling are Ilhan Omar's callous remarks dismissing Kirk's commitment to civil debate, and organizations that designate conservative groups as "hate groups" without proper justification.

As the conservative movement looks ahead, a crucial question emerges: Who will step into the leadership void at Turning Point USA? More importantly, who will become the new voice speaking to young conservatives across college campuses? While acknowledging that no one can truly replace Charlie Kirk's unique approach, this moment demands reflection on what kind of leadership can honor his legacy while guiding the movement forward. What qualities should this new leader possess, and how can they maintain Kirk's commitment to respectful dialogue in an increasingly hostile political landscape?

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, hello, good morning.
I'm feeling a little bit better.
I say better, I feel a littlebit more back to normal.
Yesterday, I don't know whatwas well, I do know I just was.
It's still such a shocking thingto realize that someone killed
Charlie Kirk.
For what?
Because they disagreed with him.

(00:23):
Because he was a God-fearing,god-loving Christian man who was
on the right side of things, meaning conservative values,
christian values, and he woulddebate people and I've watched
his clips.
He's not bombastic at all, he'snot a firebrand, as some of

(00:47):
them would say.
He was very gentle, calm, logical, would listen and
complimented people, even ifthey disagreed with him.
I'm like him.
I'm like why would somebodywant to kill him?
I have no idea, no idea, Idon't, I don't get it and my

(01:10):
brain will never get it.
And here's another thing I waslistening to yesterday and I'm
just surprised and stunned atMegyn Kelly.
You know, more and more Ilisten to her, the more and more
she's starting to go down theweird, the weird hole, or
whatever you call it, the weirdpath, because she quoted Stephen

(01:31):
Crowder.
And look, I know you guys likeStephen Crowder and maybe he's
credible.
I don't know, I don't think so,but I don't know, I don't know,
I don't listen to him enough, but they're trying to already
push this narrative that theyfound cartridges with messages
on it about transgenic.
Look, we don't know that forsure yet.
So stop, stop trying tospeculate about all of this

(01:52):
stuff.
Now, what the fbi did put outin a press conference I know you
guys probably don't believe anyof the stuff that people put
out in a press conference neverbelieve the first story.
They're always going to lie toyou.
All this conspiracy theory.
That's radicalization too.
Think for yourselves, thinklogically.
Don't listen to all this othercrap.
And whether you believe it ornot, I don't know, but they have

(02:16):
.
There's another thing aboutthat video they put out
yesterday.
That camera followed him.
Who was operating that camera?
Why was the camera followinghim?
I don't know, maybe I don'tknow how cameras work did.
When they pick movement up, dothey automatically program to
follow it?
I don't know, it was weird, butthe camera did follow the kid,

(02:39):
this person of interest that wasrunning across the roof and
then climbed down the side ofthe building and jumped off and
started walking across the lawnor across the parking lot.
The camera followed him.
There were other movements.
There was cars moving, therewere other people walking around
.
I don't know.
I don't know.

(03:00):
But another thing I know.
I have another thing I wish Iknow.
I can't get my thoughtsgathered up.
They waited for this pressconference until late at night.
And why?
Because they wanted to waituntil Kash Patel got there to
walk the crime scene andeverything.
And then what happened?
They came out and Kash Pateldidn't even say a damn word.
I wanted to hear from Kash Patel.

(03:21):
I don't care if he's the FBIdirector, and normally they
don't talk.
I wanted to hear from cashfatale I don't care if he's the
fbi director, and normally theydon't talk.
I wanted to hear from him.
He's supposed to be transparent, transparency, transparency.
And for the people I needed tohear from him whether they found
anything of relevance or not, because all the news programs
leading up to the pressconference said all these things
already.

(03:41):
So the press conference didn'treally give us anything new,
except that video of him runningacross the building and
climbing down off the side Veryobvious and evident.
And they're going to find thisguy.
They have to.
And then they found him throughthese ring cameras in this
neighborhood.
Now he has to know.
In this neighborhood.

(04:01):
Somebody knows this kid, somebody knows him and they'll
find him.
They've got to find him, they're going to find him.
The thing is, will we ever findout why?
I mean, think about this.
They killed Martin Luther KingJr Because he had influence, he
was head of a movement, and wecan't have that People rising up

(04:26):
and changing minds and heartsand doing so same thing with
Charlie Kirk, with the youngpeople.
He was making a big movementand big change and they just
can't have it Now.
And then you're going to hearthis.
I know I heard of the Coloradoshooting.

(04:47):
Wait, before I go on to theColorado shooting, I wanted to
talk about those ring cameras inthe neighborhood.
Now, I could be wrong, but whenthey were playing these videos
and it had TMZ watermark on it,my first thought was why did
these people sell their?
My first thought was why didthese people sell their video
camera ring footage to TMZbefore they turned it over to

(05:11):
the police?
Now, maybe they did turn itover to the police first and
then the police released it backto them and then they sold it
to TMZ.
I don't know why they do that,but I just think that's wrong.
All right, so the next thing isthe Colorado shooting.
It happened yesterday or theday before too, and they have

(05:35):
this young kid in.
Well, he killed himself or theyshot him dead.
I don't know which is which, but they're saying now on the
news that he was radicalized.
Pay attention, people.
People are being kids and youthare being radicalized.
Who are they being radicalizedby?

(05:55):
It could be any number ofthings.
It could be the Chinese, itcould be TikTok, it could be all
of the leftists whoanti-American congresspeople and
their ilk, ilhan Omar, talitaRashid all the people that have

(06:16):
influence and get in front of acamera and talk about Nazi, nazi
, nazi.
White supremacist, whiteChristian nationalist.
I mean, they're at fault here.
They really are.
Okay, I know I've rambled onlong enough.
What else do I have?
Hold on, if you go over to theNew York Post, if you have that

(06:41):
app, they have several bulletpoints pointed out with
different headlines.
The new FBI video shows CharlieKirk assassins daring rooftop
escape after killingconservative activists.
Then they have subheadings likeblue sky posters threatened
Trump, elon Musk, ben Shapiro, immediately after Charlie Kirk's
assassination.

(07:01):
Sick images show the SecretService employee who called
Charlie Kirk racist, blamedkarma for assassination, put on
leave.
Wow, I didn't hear that oneLast person to debate Charlie
Kirk's seconds beforeassassination reveals tragic
irony in final conversation.
And then there's Elon Omarcruelly stomps on Charlie Kirk's

(07:23):
legacy, claiming supporters arefull of shit.
Oh, this woman needs to bedeported out of the United
States today.
President Trump, can you makethat happen?
Tom Homan, I would love youforever if you could make that
happen today.
Uh, so she went on a cruel rantabout murdered conservative
activist activist charlie kirk, scoffing at the notion that his

(07:45):
core mission was to have a civildebate on politics.
There are a lot of people whoare talking about him, kirk just
wanting to leave a civil.
Just have a civil debate.
Omar sneered to progressiveoutlet ZTO.
Those people are full of shitand it's important for us to
call them out.
While we feel anger and sadness, omar growls that the Turning

(08:07):
Point USA founder downplayedGeorge Floyd and opposed
Juneteenth.
There is nothing more effed upthan to pretend that his words
and actions haven't beenrecorded and in existence for
the last decade or so.
She added further accusing Kirkof posting hateful rhetoric on

(08:28):
social media.
You know what?
Another thing this SouthernPoverty Law Center here in
Alabama designated Turning PointUSA as a hate group.
I'm going to make it my missionto shut that motherfucking place
down.
I don't get it.
Okay, I'd probably need to tamemy language and be more calm,

(08:50):
like Charlie Kirk, so I don'tsound like an insane person.
So that's what I'm going to tryto do.
From now on, I will make it mymission to call them out and
track their movements and getthem.
I mean, I'm just a littleperson.
What can I do?
Nothing, but I'm going to dosome.
I'm going to try to research orsomething to get them shut down

(09:10):
.
I don't know if they're aprivate organization.
I don't know if they're anon-profit.
I'm going to look into it.
They need to go.
They need to be shut down, justlike Planned Parenthood needs
to be shut down.
And I know I know you're goingto come people are freedom of
speech.
Freedom of speech.
Well, you know what.
Freedom of speech also hasconsequences.
That's a lot of problem.
Today, too, people don't haveconsequences anymore.

(09:33):
These kids today don't haveconsequences anymore.
They've never had consequences.
We get them on these drugs at anearly age because this or that
their, their behavior is weird.
Their behavior is weird.
So, oh, it's this, or it's that, or it's autism, or it's on the
spectrum, or it's this or it'smental health.
They get them on, they get themon medication and then ignore

(09:54):
them.
No, now, I'm not a doctor, I'mnot a health provider, so just
ignore everything I'm saying.
Take it with a grain of salt.
Okay, but maybe if parents weremore involved with their
children at an early age andstay involved with them at an
early age, love them, teach them, hold them, hug them, instead

(10:16):
of just shipping them off here, shipping them off there and then
listening to these daycareproviders or school
administrators saying that, well, they have a behavior problem.
Blah, blah, blah.
Okay, look, I've not been aperfect parent myself.
Oh, it's easy to say this allhindsight, 2020, right, but my

(10:40):
kids have turned out great.
Yes, we've gone through somespeed bumps, but they are
fantastic.
They have jobs, they work, theyhave a family.
So I'm happy with them.
I'm happy, I love them.
Okay, I didn't mean to get upon a rant there.
Anyway, I think you know whatI'm trying to say.
There's all kinds of factorsgoing on right now and we need

(11:02):
to be vigilant and we need topay attention and not blame it
on something that's convenient.
We need to dig deeper dive, figure this out.
They are being radicalized byall kinds of different factions
here.

(11:22):
Okay, we need a question of theday.
So my question is that I knowCharlie Kirk cannot be replaced
at all.
Nobody, no person, ever can bereplaced.
But somebody needs to take holdand become the face of TPA
Turning Point USA.
Become the face of TPA TurningPoint USA.
Somebody needs to step intothat role.

(11:45):
Maybe not be Charlie Kirk andmaybe not go to campuses and
talk, but somebody needs to bethe head or go to the helm and
lead that movement still.
So who do you think that shouldbe?
My first thought was Bar barontrump, and even the gent said
yesterday, baron trump.

(12:06):
And then I, because I hadthought about it too.
But then my second thought wasnope, melania won't, won't allow
that, and I don't blame her, Iwouldn't allow it either.
Uh, but maybe not with, maybenot do what charlie's doing, but
he, he definitely can reach theyoung people, that's for sure.
But who do you think should takethe role or the job?

(12:27):
Or I don't even know, wasCharlie like the CEO Was there?
I mean, was there an actualadministrative position?
Somebody needs to step intothat.
Who do you think that should be?
Like I said, not replaceCharlie in what he did as a
movement and be the spokespersonand go out there on college

(12:47):
campuses and talk.
I still wish that would happen, because there is not going to
be another Charlie Kirk at all, there's just not.
But who else could?
Who's going to lead thatorganization is what I guess I'm
asking.
That organization is what Iguess I'm asking, and we also do

(13:08):
need a new, we do need a leaderfor the young people.
Who do you think that could bein a different, in a different,
in a different way?
Maybe not, maybe not eventhrough Turning Point USA, but
in a.
We need the young people tohave a new leader.
I guess is what I'm saying, anew influencer, whatever you
want to call them.
All right, that's it.

(13:29):
That's all I've got.
I hope you have a great day.
It's Friday.
We are going to watch our movie.
We are on the Indiana Joneskick and I think we're in like
the Crystal Skull.
Whatever is next in the line,we're watching them, in order.
Okay, have a great weekend.

(13:50):
Hopefully, the gent and I willbe back on Sunday to do our
brood awakening podcast onSunday.
All right, remember, stayvigilant, head on a swivel, but
don't believe everything youhear and only half of what you
see.
All right, got to go Bye.
