Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, good morning, happy Wednesday.
We need to get right to itbecause I have a lot to say.
First, I want to talk aboutUPenn and their decision to
correct their record, to correctthe record about women in
sports, men in women's sports, leah Thomas, will Thomas.

(00:24):
Oh my gosh, this is fantastic, great news.
I guess, I don't know, didsomebody sue them?
I don't know, but this isamazing and a huge win.
I hope everybody talks about it.
It needs to be in all theheadlines.
It needs to be in all of themainstream media news, because
this is the way it should havebeen all along.

(00:45):
Upenn has agreed to apologizeto the female division one
swimmers who were forced tocompete against Leah Thomas,
will Thomas.
Now I'm going to read thiswhole thing.
It's kind of long, so bear withme.
It's from Redux R-E-D-U-X-X mag, m-a-m-a-g-m-a-g.
You should go follow them.

(01:05):
It's at Redux with two X'sR-E-D-U-X-X-M-A-G.
Go follow them.
They have all the news withthis trans stuff, alright.
It has also committed tostripping Thomas of the titles
and records he obtained whilecompeting as a woman and will

(01:30):
return them to female athletesPraise.
Just hours ago, the USDepartment of Education
announced that the followingsteps will be taken by the UPenn
to comply with Title IX.
Thank you, linda McMahon.
Upenn will restore to femaleathletes all individual UPenn
Division I swimming records, titles or similar recognition

(01:52):
which were misappropriated bymale athletes allowed to compete
in female categories.
Upenn will issue a publicstatement to the university
community stating that it willcomply with Title IX, specifying
that UPenn will not allow malesto compete in female athletic
programs or occupy PennAthletics' female intimate

(02:14):
facilities.
Thank you, the statement willspecify that UPenn will adopt
biology-based definitions forthe words male and female,
pursuant to title nine andconsistent with president
trump's executive ordersdefending women from gender
ideology, extreme extremism andkeeping men out of women's

(02:37):
sports.
Thank you, president trump, thank you, upenn, for abiding by
these executive orders becausea lot of people don't have to.
They're not doing it becauseit's not law.
All right, I guess they likethat money.
Upenn will post the statementin a prominent location on its
main website and on each of itswebsites for women's athletics

(03:01):
which violated Title IX, removeor revise any internal
public-facing statements ordocuments that are inconsistent
with Title IX and notify allstaff and women's athletics of
all such rescissions, and UPennwill send a personalized letter
of apology to each impactedfemale swimmer.

(03:22):
I'm glad they're doing thatpart.
I wish that they would do it inperson, but I'm gonna take this
anyway.
This is fantastic news.
This action followed aninvestigation by the department,
by the department's office forcivil rights, that found UPenn
violated Title IX.
Hello, hello, do we even youeven needed a?

(03:47):
You needed an investigationover that by allowing Leah
Thomas to compete in FEMAathletic programs and occupy
FEMA-only locker rooms.
He is a man.
You needed an investigation tofigure that out.
Whatever, I'm taking this win,it's freaking huge.
I love it.

(04:07):
And another win.
On a side note, you probablywon't hear about this.
Do you remember julie jaminjimon?
And she was the washingtonwoman who was banned from the
her local ymca after objectingto a man invading the women's
locker room.
Well, guess what?
She just won a $65,000settlement.
Men do not belong in women'sprivate spaces.

(04:28):
My question is is she allowedback in her YMCA?
I don't know.
All right, so let's see whatelse is going on.
Um well, the big beautiful billpassed.
It's going back to the housefor more votes, so we'll see how
that goes.
All right, this next one iskind of silly.
We need to get into.
We need to get into somesilliness.
So wearing this specificaccessory might prevent men from

(04:53):
dating women, and they don'teven realize it.
No wonder I'm single.
I call big B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T onthis story.
B-s Huge, but here we go.
This is why I picked this up,because I think it's ridiculous.
Social media has a theory thatpearl earrings repel men.

(05:13):
I have, let me read it.
Let me read a couple ofparagraphs and then I'm going to
get into my commentary.
Pearl jewelry often symbolizesbeauty, class and sophistication
.
Now for those exact viewssingle girls on TikTok.
Of course TikTok are ditchingthe feminine pieces because they

(05:35):
think wearing them ispreventing them from meeting
eligible bachelors.
Ladies, let me tell yousomething right now, you need to
put those pearl earrings rightback on your ears.
Put your pearl necklaces on,because you want the kind of men
attracted to that.
If men are repelled by that, those are the ones you don't

(05:55):
want.
Okay, those are the ones youdon't want.
Use your brain cells, ladies,to justify why today's
generation of men don't know howto pursue women anymore.
Tiktok created the pearl earringtheory, which is that women who
wear this type of accessory areviewed as intimidating,

(06:15):
expensive or high maintenanceQualities that might scare away
potential suitors.
Look, if the man can't handleyou, then he's not a man and is
not the one you want.
Okay, that's just.
You need a man who can be a man, and if he is intimidated by
you, that's not the one you want.

(06:35):
You need a man who can be a manand let you be you.
Oh, ladies oh, I wish I couldsay it more bluntly you want to
attract real men, not scaredlittle boys.
Okay, okay, add pearls to thelist of red flags men try to

(06:59):
avoid in today's dating world.
Wrong, I think this is wrong.
One content creator named MorganMcGuire shared a video
expressing her disappointmentover this bizarre theory.
Recently, I've been realizingI'm chronically single.
I just found out about pearlearring theory.
No wonder I'm single.
I'm decked out in pearls.
Truly, it's everywhere.
I don't think I'd lookintimidating, she said, as she

(07:22):
showed off her love for thegemstone worn in jewelry and
nail art form.
Here's another thing maybe it'snot the pearl earrings that are
repelling men.
Okay, maybe it's something elsethat you're doing.
Just saying, her video, uh,garnered over 200 000 views, and
she's not the only one annoyed.
Her video garnered over 200,000views and she's not the only
one annoyed at this excuse.

(07:42):
Social media is giving men Aquick search of the theory on
TikTok and countless videos popup with women claiming it's true
.
In another video, a womanshowed herself wearing the hard
glistening ear accessory withoverlaying text that read Am I
single by choice or is itbecause of the pearl earring

(08:03):
theory?
It's probably something else,sweetheart.
The hundreds of people in thecomment section of this video
either believe the theory orskeptical of it.
This explains everything.
No, it doesn't.
So there's that.
I just think that's hilarious.
What are your thoughts on that?
Those are, that's not thequestion of the day.
But moving on to the next story, this is so bizarre.
I hope they keep.

(08:23):
I hope the New York Post keepsus updated on this next story,
because this is really weird andI do want your thoughts on this
too.
New Yorker Brian Terrencevanishes while on romantic
vacation in Turks and Caicoswith his wife.
He basically disappears.
So they go to this Airbnbthey're on their honeymoon no,
no, no, not honeymoon, there'sjust a vacation.

(08:44):
And I think they've only beenmarried a year, according to
this story and they do theirtypical, regular touristy things
.
And then at three o'clock inthe morning, he gets his ass up,
gets dressed, grabs his phoneand wallet and goes out.
What in the world At threeo'clock in the morning?
Nothing good ever happens aftermidnight, even on vacation.

(09:07):
So, and in a foreign place, turks and Caicos I guess that's
a foreign right, turks andCaicos?
I don't even know where that is.
So a Manhattan man has vanishedin Turks and Caicos after he
bizarrely left his Airbnb in theearly morning early morning,
yeah, 3 o'clock in the day andmorning while on a romantic

(09:28):
vacation with his wife.
He's 51 years old.
He was seen on security footageleaving his rental in Grace Bay
and walking toward thetourist-heavy downtown area at
3.30 am on on june 25th.
So they have him on cameradoing this.
But then he just disappears.
Um, so I don't understand what.

(09:51):
What happened here?
What do you think happenedthere's?
There's nothing else to it.
I mean, that's the story.
He also had his cell phone andwallet with him when he left,
noting that the area from whichhe went missing is very safe.
But why terrence left therental in the first place
remains a mystery.
I wonder.
Again, I'm going to blameeverything, do everything on

(10:14):
these dosing psychedelics.
That's what I'm going to blameeverything on these days.
I mean, who gets up in themiddle of the night to go.
What was he doing?
What do you think he was doing?
3.30 in the morning leaving hisAirbnb?
What do you think he was doing?
Okay, I don't really haveanything else.
We need to go to the questionof the day.
Okay, what are your plans forthe 4th of July?

(10:36):
You know that's coming up.
It's Friday.
Happy 249th birthday to America.
We are finally going to go tothe farm.
We have a friend who throwsthis huge ass party at their
farm every year on 4th of July.
They've been doing it for over60 something years and they

(10:58):
pretty much invite the wholedamn county and we used to go to
it all the time and then thenfor a while, we, for the last I
don't know five years, wehaven't gone.
So we're going this year.
My kids have always gone afterthey've gotten grown and
everything, because they also doa work camp leading up to the
like.
This whole week there they havetheir family and cousins and

(11:19):
some of their friends come overto help get the farm prepared
for it.
My kids used to be a part ofthat when they were younger
teenagers, whatever.
So they still go out there.
They've been still going asadults, and so we're going to go
this year.
I'm excited for it.
They usually have airplanes outthere, sometimes they'll have a
hot air balloon, they'll havemusic, they have little

(11:43):
choo-choo train rides for thekids.
It's pretty cool too.
And oh, and then at fouro'clock they ring the dinner
bell and everybody gets in aline and they go through the
buffet.
They have barbecue and thepatriarch and matriarch are up
there serving, at the head ofthe line, serving and greeting
people.
It's pretty cool.
I'll take pictures and videosfor this weekend.

(12:07):
All right, gotta go.
Thanks for listening.
Love y'all, bye.
