Donald J. Mullin is the Chief Executive Officer of The Arc of Rensselaer County, a nonprofit based in Troy, New York. Under his leadership, the organization offers inclusive residential programs, family services, and community support for people with developmental disabilities. Don is a strong advocate for fair compensation and better working conditions for frontline staff, recognizing their vital role in shaping lives.


A graduate of St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY, Don lives by the motto: “Be kind. Be humble. Be respectful,” along with the university’s guiding words: “Teach me goodness, discipline, and knowledge.” He and his wife Lisa have been married for 27 years and are proud parents to three children: Josh, Ariana, and Katarina.
