without judgment.
Today, we'll talk aboutunderstanding self-worth, how to
(00:54):
build it and how to maintain it, even when life is challenging.
Let's define self-worth.
Self-worth is a deep knowingthat you are valuable, deserving
of love and capable of greatthings, simply because you exist
.
It's not based on externalachievements, appearances or
(01:18):
other people's opinion.
It's an inner sense of valuethat remains constant no matter
what.
One common obstacle ofself-worth is self-criticism.
We often judge ourselvesharshly for our perceived flaws
(01:39):
and mistakes.
To counter this, practiceself-compassion.
Speak to yourself with the samekindness and understanding you
would offer a dear friend.
Remember it's okay to beimperfect.
It's a part of being a humanbeing.
(02:00):

with your values.
Your time and energy isprecious.
Building self-worth alsoinvolves self-acceptance.

strengths and weaknesses.
Embrace your unique qualitiesand let go of the need for
perfection.
Self-acceptance is a powerfulstep towards genuine self-worth.
(03:04):
Another essential aspect is tocelebrate your achievements OK,
something else that I alwaystalk about no matter how small
they may seem.
Recognize and honor yourprogress and efforts.
This positive reinforcementhelps build a strong sense of
(03:29):
self-worth.
Keep a journal where you canwrite down your daily wins and
things that you're proud of.
Over time, you'll see how muchyou have accomplished.
Let's talk about surroundingyourself with positivity.
The people you spend time withcan influence your self-worth.
(03:51):
Surround yourself with thosewho uplift, support and believe
in you.
Positive relationships can helpreinforce your sense of value
and worthiness.
It's also beneficial to engagein activities that nurture your
soul and bring you joy, whetherit's a hobby, exercise or
(04:14):
spending time in nature.
Doing things you love boostsyour self-worth and overall
happiness.
Remember that self-worth is ajourney, not a destination.
It requires ongoing efforts andpractice.
Be patient with yourself andacknowledge that building
(04:36):
