You too can be a successful entrepreneur with a diagnosis of mental illness.
In this first episode, of a two-part series, hear guest David Boyles, share how his diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia lead him to success.
He speaks freely about how he had to drop out of school leaving himself with enormous debt. He shares how he was constantly hearing voices, negative voices, and seeing reflections in everything around him. He shares his struggle with headaches, hospitalizations, medications, and being arrested.
“You can’t rely on medicine, and therapy is a mixed bag,” he says. He knew he had to make life changes, or he was going to die. He looked at all his symptoms and all his medicines and made the decision to change his quality of life. He asked himself, “What am I missing out on if I continue this way?”
Once you listen to his story about his mental health condition, his determination to get better and his resilience, David leaves you feeling encouraged.
