How many lenses can we see God's word through? Infinite! God invites us to change our perspective through His invitation. He invites us to cast ourselves in non-heroic roles so that we can grow in Him!

We expound on a complaint/bad comment. How do you know when people truly want to have a conversation about Jesus or are just criticizing and how should we respond either way? Are we hypocrites if we do the same thing to people of other faiths and cultures? How does Jesus turn man's "understanding" on its head and how can we love Him and others to our fullest?

We talk about what makes a good leader/pastor. What does Jesus say about good leadership? We also discuss accountability in connection to a pastor.

When people are offended, should we always apologize to them? How can we honor Jesus with our continued communication with the “offended?” We look for biblical standing in answering these questions!

This week we dig into how we can trust that the Bible has always said what it says today. That includes getting into the culture and the process on how people made sure the original message stayed intact. We also talk about a translation of the Bible to never use. 

Matt Maher joins us once again, jumping into a lot of great discussions including: deconstruction, the right way to pray and how to overcome childhood wounds so our children can be even healthier. He also answers the question: "what do you wish you could go back and fight for more than you did at the time?"

Joking about pride ended up leading us to an organic conversation about the meaning of scripture and where the line is on being able to choose it's meaning. While there are a lot of misused verses, there is also room for a different application of the same scripture in our own life. 

This week we dig into a classic: Jonah and the whale. When you really break it down, there is MUCH more we can take away than what you might remember learning in Sunday school as a kid.

This week we get into the gray area of how scripture applies differently to everyone. There is universal truth, but does that mean each one of us have to go about it the exact same way? Plus, how to respond when someone questions the Bible in the first place. 

How is it possible for someone who doesn't have faith in Jesus to do something more Christ-like than a Christian? This is what we discuss through one of the most popular parables Jesus ever told. We also discuss the book of Daniel and how the proper understanding might be different than we've ever heard. 

We are joined by musical artist Leanna Crawford to dig into scripture as her latest song is called "Psalm 23" because of the peace it brings. It's the foundation for us as we get into comparison and how social media is a fine line of driving us to become well rounded people and exhausting/killing us at the same time. 

It's REALLY good news this week, as we see God's gracious come to life in a story Jesus tells. We also find out how Rachelle rebelled when she was a kid in a laugh out loud moment!

Why do Ezekiel's temple measurements seem "off" with what gets rebuilt and how does his vision share hope and life to those outside of the temple walls? Rachelle talks about that and Carder speaks into: "if Jesus wasn't Who He said," then his message wouldn't be worth following.

Maybe you've grown up hearing God is "3 in 1", but how exactly does that work? We dive deep into how it works (as best we can), along with the scripture that discusses this doctrine, even though the word "trinity" isn't actually in the Bible.

Can a truly bad person receive the grace of Jesus? Even if it's at the end of their life? We discuss, with Rachelle sharing the story of an awful person on his death bed.

With a crazy story about parents threatening people because of prom, we talk about the fine line between defending your kids and letting them learn a life lesson. Also, if a grandma approves of something sinful: does that make it ok?

This week we start with a comment from a listener who asks a difficult but important question: how do you know when someone is a real Christian? And what do you do if they claim to be one, but they don't seem to live like it?
