Speaker 1 (00:00):
Very familiar
Proverbs 29, 18,.
Where there is no vision, thepeople perish.
Where there is no vision, thepeople are out of control.
Where there is no vision, thepeople cast off restraint.
Where there is no vision, thepeople decay.
There is no kingdom movementwithout first a kingdom vision.
(00:23):
There is no kingdom advancementwithout a kingdom vision.
And God said you are here thismorning, you are here now and
it's time to visit theoptometrist this morning so that
your eyes will see the kingdom.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
This.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
And the first
question of this eye doctor is
what do you see?
What are you looking at?
What are you putting your eyeson?
What's your mindset, what'syour state of mind?
What do you focus on?
Jesus emphasized the necessityof a vision, and just because
(01:38):
you have eyes does not mean youhave a vision.
Just because you have eyesdoesn't mean you have vision,
because it was his disciplesthat could not see past their
concerns and their conditions inMark chapter 8.
Mark chapter 8 wasn't justabout the multiplication of the
bread and the little fishes thatthey had, but Mark chapter 8 is
(02:01):
about vision.
He wants them to open theirspiritual eyes.
He wants them to reachunderstanding.
He wants them to see beyondconcerns and conditions.
What were the concerns andconditions?
Well, we have few bread, that'sour concern.
(02:23):
We have little fishes, not justany fish, but little fishes,
and this is our concern.
What was their condition?
How are we supposed to feedthis multitude in a wilderness?
Concerns of resources, conditions of wilderness these
(02:51):
are the conditions and concernsthat God wants to move your
vision past.
And he says the key to themiraculous, the key to seeing
multiplication, is seeing beyondthe limited resources and the
conditions of your environment.
Limited resources and theconditions of your environment.
Wow, I would pause right thereand, in parentheses, say that
(03:14):
the miracle happened when Jesusfirst was moved by compassion
for the multitude.
Their answer was this is ourconcern and this is our
conditions.
But Jesus' answer was he'smoved by compassion.
Number one and number two hesaid he commanded them to sit on
(03:39):
the grass and then he took upwhat was there and he gave
thanks.
If you want three keys tounlocking the miraculous number
one you need to be compassionateabout the multitude.
Number two you cannot ask whatthe will of God is.
You got to command themiraculous, the healing.
You're not there to doubt orhesitate or flinch.
(04:02):
You command it in the name ofJesus and then you thank God for
what he's done.
You thank God for the miracle.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
You thank God for the
multiplicity.
Somebody thank God right now.
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
I'm still in Mark 8.
They then said show us a sign.
Because they wanted to see.
They were seeking a sign, something that would show them.
But he said blessed are thosein another portion of scripture
that believe without seeing.
Show us a sign.
(04:50):
They wanted to see a sign andhe said you won't get a sign
that you can see.
And he later rebuked them bysaying but beware of the leaven
of the Pharisees in Herod.
Biblically, the work of leavenhas always been considered an
illustration of the work ofpride and sin the pharisees,
(05:14):
pride and the sinful nature ofherod.
He said you gotta be careful, because a little leaven leaven
if the whole love, in otherwords a little pride or a little
sin, can corrupt this wholeoperation.
Malabashata, rakanamashata, allit takes is one individual that
(05:34):
thinks of himself, that thinksabout himself, that can't see
beyond and past himself.
God don't just want you to seepast your mountain, he wants you
to be delivered of yourself.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
He wants to deliver
you from yourself, past your
mountain.
He wants you to be delivered ofyourself.
He wants to deliver you fromyourself and your mind.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Having eyes do you
not see?
Because even if you have eyes,it doesn't mean you have vision.
He said having eyes you do notsee.
Having ears do you not hear?
The formula for revelation is tohear what the Spirit of the
Lord says unto the church and tosee the kingdom vision, the
(06:24):
vision of the Almighty God forhis kingdom to be established.
It's a two-part formula.
You gotta have the righthearing, you gotta have the
right sight.
He's gotta train your hearingand then he'll train your sight.
That's what he told the apostlejohn in chapter two and three
of revelations.
(06:45):
Over and over again, at everychurch he said here, if you have
an ear, hear what the spiritsays onto the church.
Why?
Because he's training his earfor those two chapters.
But in chapter four the firstverse says come up hither and I
will show you the things thatare.
(07:06):
You got to go up a littlehigher If you want to see the
kingdom vision.
You can't see it from yourlevel, you can't see it from
your situation, you can't see itfrom your condition or your
concern, you got to come up here.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Lift your hands, lift
your hands, lift your hands
Higher, higher, higher, higher, higher, higher if you're still
(08:10):
doubting or in disbelief, I I'mstill on Mark, chapter 8.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
He confirmed it by
healing a blind man in Bethsaida
.
That's the next thing he did.
He healed a blind man so that, during this healing and during
this miracle, they'd understandwhat Jesus is trying to do is
train our vision.
And then came the question, brother Raymond, who do you say
(08:37):
that I am Been talking all aboutvision, this entire chapter,
and finally we get to the momentof truth.
Even after seeing themiraculous and the healing, he
now wants to ask the question, the main idea, the center point
(09:00):
of it all.
Who do you say that I am, thatI am?
Matthew 16 refers to this samescenario and captures Jesus'
specific response.
When Peter said thou art theChrist, he said flesh and blood
has not revealed this death.
(09:20):
That's right.
We arrived at revelationbecause your eyes have already
been trained.
Now you're ready for revelation.
He said revelation has comeupon you because we've been
dealing about your eyesight andwhat you're looking at and what
you're seeing.
Now you're ready for therevelation and God is interested
(09:41):
in what we're seeing, becausehe wants to lead us to
revelation.
Revelation Isn't that what wewere trying to do in Angola last
month.
Brother Robinette, it was awork and, brother Duncan, it was
a work that we could not do.
We could only instigate andpromote and help in preaching
(10:04):
and showing so that therevelation of the truth would
come upon them.
God is looking for people thatwould preach not for the like
and shares and the hearts andthe subscribes, but people that
would preach not for a tweetablemoment or a tweetable phrase,
but people that would preach forrevelation.
(10:25):
He's looking for men and women, visionary men and women, that
flesh and blood had not revealedthis to you, that hasn't shown
you didn't copy this, you didn'tget it on spark notes or on
(10:47):
chat gbt, but that you were in,locked in with the master and
you fasted and you prayed likelike the old time the elder
billy cole said don't say thelord said, if the lord didn't
say to you you but if you have arevelation it's because you've
(11:10):
been with the master.
And so he ends this chapter withthe verse saying when he cometh
in glory, in the glory of hisfather, with the holy angels.
Matthew 16 also ends it thesame way, describe it in a
different way.
He said till they see the Sonof man coming in his kingdom,
(11:33):
you can't have glory, you can'thave his kingdom, until you have
revelation.
But you can't have revelation, you can't have the understanding
and enlightenment, until youget a vision.
God's fixing to touch your eyesthis morning.
God's fixing to touch your eyes, just like he touched the blind
(11:56):
eyes yesterday, just like heunstopped the deaf ears
yesterday.
You know, it's just aconfirmation of what needs to
happen to you.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
You've got both of
your eyes working perfectly fine
, but God said I need to impartvision into those eyes.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
I need to impart
vision so that the fulfillment
of Scripture would come upon.
That eye has not seen, nor ear, heard, nor have entered into
the heart of man the thingswhich God has prepared.
You won't be able to relate tosome of your peers or people
around you, because what God hasprepared for you, you can't put
(12:49):
a standard on it with everybodyaround you, because what God
has prepared for you is on ahigher level, on another
mountain, a higher mountain, ahigher elevation, a different
perspective.
And what he's saying is I don'twant you to go to your peers to
try and see how you can, thereyou go.
(13:12):
I don't want you to compare andcontrast with those, because
what I'm preparing for you Ihave not seen.
That's why nobody gets you, that's why nobody understands
you, because nobody has seen.
Nobody has heard what God isgiving you is something that he
has prepared and has not comefrom men.
(13:34):
I'm convinced that if you havea calling to ministry and you
feel strongly to do somethinggreat for the kingdom of God,
god has given you a vision.
Disclaimer even though we'reall adults here, disclaimer your
(13:56):
vision will never go againstyour pastor's vision.
Don't get it twisted.
I know we're all adults, but Ijust had to kind of throw that
in there just in case.
But if you want to do somethinggreat for the kingdom of God,
it all starts with a vision yourvision, the vision that God
(14:17):
gave you.
We could preach on this all day, but I'll close it out right
here.
In Acts, chapter 16.
Because the book of Acts was arevival of visions.
It was visions of revival.
That's the topic, or thesubject of my sermon this
morning is visions of revivaland how.
(14:38):
All through the book of Acts itwas visions of revival.
And in Acts, chapter 16, whenPaul wanted to go to Ephesus and
make his way to this importantcity, to this great city where
he knew from there we could baseout of and we could have
greater revival.
Yet the Spirit of God directedthis work and Paul, brothers and
(15:00):
sisters, was directed not toEphesus, but he had a vision of
a Macedonian man.
Come through Macedonia, help usthis morning.
This morning, god showed memany of you have already been
(15:21):
experiencing visions of yourministry, the next level of your
ministry, visions for yourchurches, visions of revival for
your cities.
And some of you hear me, hearme this moment.
The Lord said you're not calledto a city, I have called you to
a region.
But because you keepcontinually looking at your
(15:43):
concerns and your conditionsaround you, you're not
escalating the mountain, you'renot climbing the mountain to see
beyond the mountain and beyondyour city.
God has anointed you for aregion.
Don't limit yourself to a townor a city.
(16:09):
Paul's mind, the apostle Paul, great Paul what more can we say
about Paul?
But Paul's mind was he wantedto reach a few cities.
But in God's mind, right, y'allknow Isaiah his way is not our
ways, his thoughts, not ourthoughts.
What God was thinking is Idon't want to reach a few cities
(16:31):
, I want to reach a brand newcontinent.
I want you to preach the wordfor the first time in Europe.
I want you to go on the otherside and get your mind off of
cities.
I know we got the next town andthe next city and the next
village.
I feel we need to expand andextend our attention.
We need to expand and enlargeour territories and, beyond
(16:54):
towns and cities, we need tostart thinking about regions.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
We need to think
about revival beyond borders.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Would you lift your
hands?
A revival beyond borders Wouldyou lift your hands.
Here's what the Lord spoke to meearly this morning.
Lift your hands, he said.
In the world of science, doctors, optometrists, they
(17:22):
recommend you visit the eyedoctor once or twice a year.
The Lord said lift your handsto tell each and every one of
you here if you will have acalling to ministry and you want
to impact the world in thekingdom of God, you need to be a
part of a crusade or a missionstrip or some sort of overseas
(17:42):
work once or twice a year sothat God would enlarge your
vision, would open up your mind,so that revival beyond borders,
overseas, you bring that backhome.
God is saying once or twice ayear you need to jump on.
Whether it's Global Harvestwho's impacting the world, or
(18:04):
some sort of missionary work, you cannot get a vision of the
kingdom in your city alone.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
You got to connect to
something greater than you.
You got to be exposed tosomething greater than you.
You got to be a part ofsomething that is greater than
you.
Lift your hands right now.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Touch your eyes.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Touch your hands on
your eyes.
There you go, you ready by theauthority of the word of God, by
(19:01):
the power in the name of Jesus.
I command you to receive freshvision right now.
That your eyes will be opened, that visions of revival will
(19:23):
take you over, that the kingdomvision is imparted right now.
Lift your voice.
Lift your voice.
Lift your voice.
