I remember a few years ago,sister Robinette and I were in

the nation of Hawaii.
We were preaching all acrossthe islands there at different
churches, during a deputation.

And I love to scuba dive.
That's one of my favoritethings to do is to get in the
water.

That's one of my favorite things to do is to get
in the water.
People may not know this, butI'm actually an extreme
introvert.
I know none of you arebelieving it right now, but it

Which is why I love sports like scuba diving,
because you don't have to talkto anybody.

I like to go skiing, because you don't ski together,
you ski alone, you get all thistime to just be alone and to
think, and it's a great thingfor an introvert.

And Sister Robinette and I were in Hawaii and I
wanted to go diving on one ofthe days off.

And I wanted to go diving on one of the days off.

And Sister Robinette doesn't like really to go in the
water and doesn't like to dive.
But sometimes she'll go out onthis dive boat and we were

heading out to where we weregoing to dive in Hawaii.
And as everybody was getting ontheir gear to get in the water,
there was this guy sittingacross from us that he just had

so much gear.
I mean he was hanging bells andwhistles and I mean things all
over him.
It looked like a Christmas tree, a scuba diving Christmas tree,
der hatte so viele Sachen ansich gehangen.

can't enjoy.

He said you can't enjoy yourself scuba diving with
that much baggage.
The same is true in the kingdomof God.
So many of us are walkingaround burdened with so much

baggage.

And we look the part and we might even sound the part

But we're frustrated we're disappointed.

We're unfulfilled because we're trying to enjoy

It is time to release thebaggage friends, it's time to
get aligned with God.

I remember being in Germanyyears ago and I had just been
re-elected as the generalsuperintendent of the
German-speaking nations and Ihad a great message to preach to

the nationals that evening.
And I remember when I walked tothe pulpit to preach.

The voice of the Lord came into my ears and he said I
have set before you open doorsthat no man can shut, but your
baggage of bitterness, yourbaggage of anger.

Lord spoke to me and said get abucket of water and wash the

And I remember being so upsetat.

And I turned around and I faced the wall.

He's told so many problems inthe German-speaking nations.

Bible said that God told them Iwill set you high above all the
nations on the earth.
Again, God said I just need youto obey, I just need you to

walk with me, I just need you tobe in relationship with me.
He said every promise that I'mmaking to you hinges upon your
relationship with me.
Again, you look at 2 Chronicles7, verse 14.

The Bible we all know thisscripture.
This is not new stuff.

We quote these scriptures all the time.
We preach these scriptures, allthe time we preach these
scriptures.

But we're not living these scriptures daily.
We know what the Lord is askingof us, we know what the Lord is
promising us, but because we'renot walking in alignment with
him and his word, we'reconstantly living in this

Why am I not seeing the thingsthat the prophecies are saying?
Why are others seeing miracles,but my ministry seems void of

condition to it If you do this,then God will do this.

You find this as God.

All I'm asking of you isfaithfulness in your walk with

You look at Matthew, chapter 6.
Verse 14 through 15.
Look what Jesus tells hispeople.

tarry with the?

The time you spend on socialmedia, why don't you spend that
time with God?
Stop bringing all of thisbaggage into your relationship
with the Lord.
I remember a few years ago,sister Robinette and I were in
(41:29):
the nation of Hawaii.
We were preaching all acrossthe islands there at different
churches, during a deputation.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
And I love to scuba dive.
That's one of my favoritethings to do is to get in the
water.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
That's one of my favorite things to do is to get
in the water.
People may not know this, butI'm actually an extreme
introvert.
I know none of you arebelieving it right now, but it
is true.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
Which is why I love sports like scuba diving,
because you don't have to talkto anybody.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
I like to go skiing, because you don't ski together,
you ski alone, you get all thistime to just be alone and to
think, and it's a great thingfor an introvert.
Speaker 1 (42:45):
And Sister Robinette and I were in Hawaii and I
wanted to go diving on one ofthe days off.
Speaker 3 (42:52):
And I wanted to go diving on one of the days off.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
And Sister Robinette doesn't like really to go in the
water and doesn't like to dive.
But sometimes she'll go out onthis dive boat and we were
(43:18):
heading out to where we weregoing to dive in Hawaii.
And as everybody was getting ontheir gear to get in the water,
there was this guy sittingacross from us that he just had
(43:38):
so much gear.
I mean he was hanging bells andwhistles and I mean things all
over him.
It looked like a Christmas tree, a scuba diving Christmas tree,
der hatte so viele Sachen ansich gehangen.

I'd never seen some of the gear this guy was wearing

It was amazing.

The dive master turned and looked at the man,
and then he turned back andlooked at Sister Robinette.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
He said no, ma'am he.
He said that man is going todie today but he made the
statement he said he is carryingtoo much baggage he said you
can't enjoy.
He said he is carrying too muchbaggage.
Speaker 3 (45:42):
He said you can't enjoy yourself scuba diving with
that much baggage.
The same is true in the kingdomof God.
So many of us are walkingaround burdened with so much
(46:03):
baggage.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
And we look the part and we might even sound the part
.
Speaker 3 (46:16):
But we're frustrated we're disappointed.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
We're unfulfilled because we're trying to enjoy
the kingdom of God while we'reburdened down with carnality and
secular influences.
Speaker 3 (46:42):
Because we're trying to enjoy the kingdom of God
while we're burdened down withcarnality and secular influences
.
It is time to release thebaggage friends, it's time to
get aligned with God.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
It's time to walk through doors no man can shut.
I remember being in Germanyyears ago and I had just been
re-elected as the generalsuperintendent of the
German-speaking nations and Ihad a great message to preach to
(47:34):
the nationals that evening.
And I remember when I walked tothe pulpit to preach.
Speaker 3 (47:55):
The voice of the Lord came into my ears and he said I
have set before you open doorsthat no man can shut, but your
baggage of bitterness, yourbaggage of anger.
Speaker 1 (48:19):
The Lord spoke to me and said you're standing at the
door, but your bags are keepingyou from going through, and the
Lord spoke to me and said get abucket of water and wash the
(48:40):
feet of your enemies.
And I remember being so upsetat.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
God.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
And I turned around and I faced the wall.
I'm standing in the pulpit, butI turned around and I faced the
wall and I said God, are youkidding me?
You make me wash the feet ofsomebody who's been so wicked
(49:14):
and so evil.
I said God, he's caused so manyproblems in the German-speaking
nations.
He's told so many problems inthe German-speaking nations.
(49:36):
He's told so many lies.
He's worked to create such adisunity.
God said I'm not justifyinganything he's done.
Speaker 3 (49:51):
I'm not justifying anything he's done.
But, I'm talking about what youhave done to yourself.
He said you got bags in bothhands.
Speaker 1 (50:06):
And you can't go forward because you're stuck at
the frame of the door.
He said I want to give youharvest like you've never seen.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
I want to give you revival like you've never had
before.
But I need you to set down somestuff.
I need you to leave behind somegarbage.
I remember turning back around.
Speaker 1 (50:52):
And I told one of the young ministers to go get me a
bucket of water and a towel, andI went forward and got on my
knees and began to wash the feetof a man that had caused so
(51:17):
many problems.
And I wish I could tell youtoday that that one moment
changed that man.
Speaker 3 (51:28):
I can't say that that wouldn't be true.
He was still evil, he was stilldisunifying.
But when I got on my knees andI began to wash the feet of that
(51:49):
man, and I put down the feet ofthat man.
And I put down the baggage ofhate and the burden of
bitterness and my heart began torealign with the king.
(52:14):
That moment changed me.

It made me able to walk through doors that no man
could shut.
I don't know what yoursituation is.
I don't know what's keeping youfrustrated.
I don't know what's keeping youdisappointed in the kingdom.

I don't know who it is.

I don't know who it is.
I don't know what it is.
I don't know if it's the burdenof carnality, the distraction
of social media, the bingewatching of Netflix.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
I don't know if somebody has offended you or
hurt you, but all of thosethings are irrelevant.
The Lord has set before hiskingdom the door of acceleration

and multiplication, and whatGod is asking of this apostolic
mentoring family today is thisWhatever the bags are, Whatever

the burden is, whatever's gotyou frustrated?
Just put it down, just get backin relationship with God start
reading the Bible.
Start praying every day tarry.

With God in prayer, start listening to the voice of
the Lord.
With God in prayer, startlistening to the voice of the

Get into a personal devotion with the Lord Jesus
Christ.
And I'm going to tell you rightnow let me prophesy to you if
you'll set down the bags there'snothing going to stand between

I prophesy to you that if you will set down the
bags, the frustration is goingto lift off of you.

The depression and the discouragement is going to
come up off of you.

Just set down the bags, just walk with God.
