Wie kommt es, dass die Kirchen unterschiedliche Bücher des Alten Testaments zu ihrem Kanon der Heiligen Schrift zählen und wie ist dieser überhaupt zu Stande gekommen? Welche Urschriften gibt es überhaupt und was bringt es uns heute noch die apokryphen Schriften der Bibel zu kennen?
Heute schauen wir uns das Gebet des Asarjas im Feuerofen und den Lobgesang der 3 Freunde Daniels an, die im 3. Kapitel des Buch Daniel in der griechischen Septuaginta zu finden sind. Dieser Zusatz ist auch in der Einheitsübersetzung der katholischen Kirche und in orthodoxen Bibeln zu finden.
