Welcome to our January podcast!
We have a chat about some fairly heavy concepts in this episode so please we warned - graphic content ahead. But we'll ease you into it with some talk about different cultures and religions and the way they approach death, as well as the role of a general mortician/embalmer in cultural preparations.
But deathcare is like that - most of the time it's caring for old people who have lived many, many decades on this planet, but unfortunately younger people die too and sometimes in horrific accidents - it's our job to care for them all with dignity and respect.
These deaths are often harder for us in the industry mentally and, as you will hear in this episode, sometimes physically as well.
We hope you learn something from our chat - if nothing else we just want people to be able to access information about what happens behind the mortuary doors to inform and empower them to make the best decisions possible with less fear when the time comes - We know our podcast is not for everyone, but death will touch us all.
If you have any questions about this pod or something else, contact us on email or insta and oh, yeah - apologies for the dodgy sound at the very end of this recording - we lost the end of the master file and patched the last minutes together using back up audio.
Til next time,
stay safe,
T&T
