We open with an exclusive, never-before-seen moment from Joe McMoneagle — one of the U.S. military’s top remote viewers — as he recounts a strange event: a pilot reportedly flew into a wormhole and came out somewhere… else. That story sets the stage for three of the most unsettling pilot encounters ever recorded — all backed by original cockpit or radio transmissions.

🛩 Carlos de los Santos (Mexico, 1975) While flying a Piper PA-24 over Mexico City, Carlos was suddenly flanked by three black, disc-shaped objects. His control panel became unresponsive — the UFOs had seemingly taken over his aircraft. His frantic radio calls survive to this day. What makes this case different?

The Mexican Air Force confirmed radar contact.

🎙 Rafael Pérez (Mexico, 1976) A 23-year-old pilot suddenly began to transmit calm but chilling messages from the cockpit — claiming he was speaking under the influence of a non-human intelligence. His voice changes, his tone becomes robotic, and the message? “We are watching.” To this day, this recording remains one of the strangest broadcast transmissions ever intercepted.

✈️ Frederick Valentich (Australia, 1978) Flying solo over Bass Strait, Valentich radios in a mysterious “shiny object” circling his aircraft. The last 17 seconds of the tape are haunting: metallic scraping, distorted audio, and then silence. Neither Frederick nor his plane were ever found. Was it pilot error — or an encounter gone wrong?

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
