Since 2019 we have traditionally aired a telling of the Biblical Christmas story. But this week, in our final episode of 2025, we're doing something a little different. Efforts by ICE and Border Patrol to crack down on illegal immigration have led some — like the police chief of Minneapolis — to opine that Joseph and Mary and baby Jesus were refugees. Therefore, we should, as Christians, be opposed to immigration enforcement. Lloyd reads the story of the birth of Jesus Christ from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke and points out how wrong those ideas are.
