too normal, because that's wherethings immediately go sideways,
isn't it?

Mike vanishes from the restroom.

Looks like some kind ofadvanced wristband tech.

sinister.
It's not just hardware.

It's powered by something called NeuroPowder,
designed to chemically alteryour brain.

Well, initially it boosts creativity, makes you
feel amazing, probably, but thenthe crash.
Worse than a crash.
It leads to psychotic behaviorand emotionless daydreaming.
Basically, mind control throughchemistry.

Wow, so it's a tool for manipulation on a massive
scale.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Exactly, and they've even got Officer Harlem, a
corrupt cop, running theirsecurity, taking law enforcement
away.

Keeps the whole operation insulated.
It shows how deep thecorruption runs.
And then Lucas, or rather hisdaughter Lucy, throws this huge
launch party at the mansion.

Huge is an understatement.
Like over 20,000 people, Gangsare there the Red Skulls, the
MMKS.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Sits brazen, and Mike and Ezekiel are there too.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Forced to work surveillance, caught right in
the middle of this chaos.
It's less a party, more ademonstration of power, really.
But, that kind of open displayattracts attention, right it
does Officer Lee and the RoyalInvestigation Unit, the RIU.
They raid the mansion and theyfind Secret rooms stuffed with
the Nuerobans and thisunderground bunker.

The whole hidden infrastructurelaid bare.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
So a major blow to TLG.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
You'd think so.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
But Lucas manages to flee, escapes to Dreadmoor
Island.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
He gets away.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
For a moment.
But then comes the betrayalfrom Rico Simmons.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
His own guy, the one who abducted Mike.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
The very same.
His supposed loyal partner,rico, strangles Lucas.
Yeah, his own guy, the one whoabducted.
Mike the very same, hissupposed loyal partner Rico,
strangles Lucas yeah, just likethat and leaves the body.
Leaves it for the devourertribe, then declares himself
King Rico.
Power corrupts and ambitioneats itself, I suppose.

It's incredibly brutal.
What about the dirty cop Harlem?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Ah, Officer Harlem.
He tries to make a run for ittoo.
Takes off a stolen debt paymentmeant for Lucas heading for
Nigeria.
Does he make it?
Nope, he gets intercepted.
Cujo and the Black Vipers catchhim.
They beat him up, fly him outsomewhere and basically declare
TLG's debt paid.
Another consequence deliveredno loose ends.

So it seems like everyone involved faces some
kind of reckoning.
What about Mike and Kane?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Well, Officer Lee's investigation actually uncovers
evidence that helps clear Mikeand Ezekiel.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Ow.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
They get a witness.
Someone named Eldren, from theDevourer tribe confirms Rico's
betrayal of Lucas.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
So that helps them break free.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
It points them towards a different path.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
yeah, they end up finding some refuge, maybe
redemption at Pastor Ezekiel'schurch, A new beginning, maybe
for real this time.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
It looks that way, but the sources hint it's not
quite over.
There's this mention of a newfigure, Draco.
Speaker 1 (03:53):
Draco.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah, a mysterious character who starts seeking out
Cain.
It's just the shadows of thepast are still lingering.
The fight isn't finished.
