Bonnie Jean Kuras, has always had a passion for helping children. Throughout her career she’s been an educator and school administrator, seeing and experiencing more than what goes on in the classroom and on the playground.
The behind-the-scenes stressors began to affect her and those around her yet, thanks to a fateful conversation and a hard truth shared by her husband, Bonnie found a path to continue making a difference by helping children and their families deal with and recover from the effects of trauma.
The important work she does as a community educator reaches beyond the children and their families and involves schools, law enforcement, caregivers, coaches, clergy and more. She educates on the behaviors that are associated with the effects of child abuse and neglect to empower communities to spot and advocate on behalf of the children.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
