Ever wondered why your birthday holds so much power? Prepare to embark on an enlightening journey as we unravel the significance of solar returns - the celestial event when the sun revisits its exact position at your time of birth. This isn’t merely about cake and candles; it’s about the cosmic predictions of the year ahead. We share a fascinating example from Bootes' solar return chart, noting how Uranus and the positions of the nodes could illuminate the universe's invitation for the upcoming year.

Our cosmic exploration doesn't stop there. We dive into the intriguing influence of Venus - the ruler of Taurus - when it resides in the sixth house in Libra. While dignified in its own sign, Venus loses some of its power being in aversion with the first house. Ever pondered the implications of the second, sixth, eighth, and twelfth houses being in aversion? And what about the Sun in the sixth house connecting with the asteroid Chiron in the 12th house? We tackle these celestial dilemmas, shedding light on how they impact your everyday life.

Finally, we bridge the gap between creativity and astrology, probing into the connections between jewelry making, wire wrapping, and the solar return chart. See how Mercury and Mars can shape one’s creative process, and how the placements of Pluto, the Moon, and Saturn can point you towards meaningful pursuits. If you're intrigued to discover what your solar return chart has in store, we've got fabulous recommendations on astrological consultations. So, buckle up and join us on Astrology AF for this captivating celestial ride!

Sunny (00:09):
Hey Astro Friends, this is Astrology AF, the show that
talks everything astrology aboveand below the totally real, not
at all illusory sky.
I'm Sunny, your hostess, withover 30 years of chart reading
experience.

Bootes (00:26):
And I'm Boots, your hostling.
With almost 30 years experiencequestioning innocent people to
tears, we're here to walk withyou through the twinkling
starlight into the basic, theadvanced and the obscure.
Hello and welcome to AstrologyAF.
I'm Boots and I'm Sunny, andtoday we are going to be
discussing the topic of thesolar return, which is not just

(00:50):
your birthday.

Sunny (00:52):
No, it's so much more than your birthday.
I mean, since our calendar isset up to operate on the
movements of the sun, it is yourbirthday or maybe a day off.
My birthday is always.

(01:13):
Mine is always one day early.
My solar return.
But the solar returntechnically, is about the moment
that the sun returns backaround to where it was at the
moment you were born.
So we do all these charts withall these numbers, and so if

(01:40):
somebody has their son at andI'm making this up 22 degrees
and 54 minutes, then of thatsign, whichever sign, then when
the sun comes back around tothat spot, we have a solar

(02:01):
return, just like we have aSaturn return before, and we
talked about the significance ofa Saturn return.
What do you imagine thesignificance of a solar return
is?

Bootes (02:17):
I mean outside of what I've looked into a little bit
and read myself, which is not awhole lot.
I literally have never heardthe term outside of getting into
astrology.
At this point I've come tounderstand that when the sun

(02:38):
hits the exact degree and minuteof its place in your natal
chart, it is not necessarilygoing to be in the same house as
it was in your natal chart, andalso all of the other planets
will have moved around, and soit is a completely different

(03:02):
chart from your own natal chart, like Mercury's in a different
spot, and in this one I can seeVenus is up right next to where
the sun is.
For this one that we're lookingat, for mine, everything is
completely moved around,completely different places.

Sunny (03:24):
Yes, yes, exactly.
Yeah, I mean, we don'tnecessarily interpret it the way
that we do a Saturn return.
The sun comes back around likeclockwork every year, and so
what has been what astrologershave been up to since about the

(03:47):
eighth century is figuring outwhat this is useful for, and
what they have found is that itis a good predictive chart for
the upcoming 12 months.
So if we want to know what youknow, it's my birthday.

(04:12):
I want to know what's going tohappen for me this next year.
What am I going to be up to?
We take a look at the solarreturn chart and we do it as a
standalone chart.
I think you mentioned having aTaurus ascendant, since you

(04:33):
don't normally have a Taurusascendant, and I should just go
ahead and, with Boots'permission, share the screen.
There we go, and so this isBoots' solar return.

(04:56):
Yeah, so this is the solarreturn from the last, from 2022.
You can see right here, fromthe last time, that the sun hit
11 degrees and 49 minutes, whichis your natal sun.

Bootes (05:18):
Right of Libra specifically.

Sunny (05:20):
Yes, thank you.
In the science, the you know, the learning of solar returns,
the ancient astrologers,especially the ancient
astrologer I just love his name, abu Mishar says that the chart

(05:42):
should be cast for the birthlocation.
For somebody like me who hastraveled far and wide, this is
an issue you don't.
You don't pass the chart forwhere you're living now.
You cast your chart for thebirth location.
So in this case, we are lookingat Denver, colorado, and the

(06:08):
time does not matter.
I mean it, not, it doesn'tmatter, but we are mostly
looking at the if the sun is inthe right degree and minute and
sign.
So once we've established thatthe sun is in the right degree,

(06:28):
minute and sign, then we canstart looking at this chart and
go what am I, what am Iexpecting for this year?
This happens to be Oots is inthis year right now.
We were kind of far away fromstarting a new solar return

(06:50):
chart.
The future year that starts, you know what, two months from
now.

Bootes (06:55):
Like a month and a half.

Sunny (06:56):
Yeah, but this would be talking about you know what's
been going on since your lastbirthday and so yeah, so we're
talking about a tourist risingchart.
Okay, this does not mean thatBoots like becomes a tourist

(07:17):
rising person.
It means that there's kind of aflavor.
Sometimes it's like I just thislast year, I just felt like
doing a lot of rest, justrelaxing and just being chill.
This would be one of the thingsthat we might see with a

(07:38):
tourist rising solar return.
This year is going to feel alittle more, just a little more
calm, a little more less intenseand restless.
Annoyed, you know, you know, but just just feeling like, okay

(07:58):
, this is, this is okay, this isall right.
Now we do have, counteractingthat, the planet Uranus in the
first house.
So so this this is this is kindof a little bit opposite of
just most of the things that Ijust said.

(08:18):
There's an energy about, hey,you know, rest, relax, and then
there's an energy about change, change everything.

Bootes (08:32):
Yeah, yeah, that's definitely been accurate.
I would say over this last yearthere's been a lot of rest, but
with an undertone of like I'mresting while trying to change
things, and some things havemostly for the better,
fortunately, but some thingshave been just like really

(08:55):
quickly changed, very suddenrealizations and decision making
.

Sunny (09:01):
Yeah, yeah, that sounds very much like this chart.
So we're also looking at thenodes, the North and South node.
Also in the first and seventhhouses, the nodes are about
direction that the universe isinviting us to go.

(09:24):
That's what the North node is.
I always talk about the Southnode in terms of like, like a
big bowl of ice cream.
It's something that it's likeoh yay, I know how to do this.
I love ice cream.
This is so great.
And then we finished the bowlof ice cream and it's like why?

(09:48):
Why did I do that?
That was, that was maybe not mysmartest decision.
It's kind of some astrologerswill call it karma I don't like
that term because it's borrowingsomeone else's cultural term
but it's kind of like this stuffisn't good for you.

(10:08):
This stuff isn't you know, thisisn't the direction we're
inviting you to go.
It's something you know how todo, it's easy, but it's not good
for you.

Bootes (10:21):
Okay, yeah.

Sunny (10:23):
That's the South node.
And then when we, you know, wetake a look at the signs that
these are in we're talking aboutTaurus and we're talking about
Scorpio.
Okay, we have a lot of fixedenergy here there's a piece that
is inviting you to move andspecifically in terms of you and

(10:51):
relationships, and when we findthe South node in relationships
, it's oftentimes because we'regiving everything, giving all of
our power, trying to getapproval, trying to.
You know, just love me,whatever.
You know I don't I'll dowhatever you need me to do in

(11:14):
order to make you happy, youknow.

Bootes (11:18):
And just to backtrack just a tiny bit and to explain
for anybody who's unfamiliarwith what a node is.
So the moon does not orbit theEarth on the same plane that the
Earth orbits the Sun.
The moon's a little bitdiagonal from that, and so

(11:39):
there's a point at which themoon comes up above the Earth's
solar orbit and then a point atwhich the moon goes down below
the Earth's solar orbit.
The North node is where itcomes above and the South node
is where it dips back downunderneath.
Just for a literal explanationof what a node is.

Sunny (12:02):
Marvelous.
What I do know is that when theSun and moon are near these
spots, it's because they'velined up and that's where we get
eclipses.
Yeah, yeah, different thannormal new or full moon, but the

(12:25):
location of the nodes showswhere the eclipses are going to
be.
Woohoo, because competingastrology facts?

Bootes (12:37):
I'm not competing, but Corresponding, maybe there's a
lot of information.
The longer I spend doing thisand talking to you, the more I
find out about it.
There's so much of a pattern.
All of this is a pattern thatrepeats over millennia.

(13:01):
But then there's the smallerpatterns that we can see repeat
over and, over and over again, just in a human lifetime, and
that's one of those.
You see, if you look at a chartat the time of an eclipse,
you'll see the Sun and the moonlining up with the nodes and
then how a full moon can be seenin the Sun and the moon being

(13:26):
directly, that's, directlyopposite each other, right Full
moon is not In a chart.
Yes, In a new moon is when theyare conjunct right next to each
other in a chart.
So if you're looking at a chartfor the day on the day of a
full moon, you'll see thatthey're directly opposite each
other like that and thosepatterns just repeat and you can

(13:49):
learn to see what in a chartsignifies and shows you what's
going to be going on visibly inthe sky.
Sometimes we can visibly see aneclipse or whatnot, but you can
see the new moon or the fullmoon every single month, as long
as the skies are clear.

Sunny (14:10):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
I'm so proud, I'm so proud.
Good job, Thank you.
Let's talk about this chart somemore.
The ruler of Taurus, which isVenus, is over here hanging out

(14:32):
in the sixth house in Libra.
A couple of things.
One is, yay, venus in its ownsign that it rules.
Okay, this is lovely, this isdignity.
We're happy for that.
However, we're talking aboutthe house of the sixth house,

(14:55):
the cadence house of the sixth,a little less powerful than we
might want the ruler of therising sign to be.
A lot of traditions.
The sixth house is in a version.
They look at it as the aspectsand we just start drawing here

(15:19):
more or less the aspects that wework with are sextile.
Okay, so it's two signs apartSquare, no-transcript, trine and
opposition.

Bootes (15:39):
And so what?
Okay, so a sextile is two signsapart, a square is three signs
apart and opposition is sixsigns apart.
There's one, two, three.

Sunny (15:51):
Yeah, and you yeah, yeah, and trine is four signs apart.

Bootes (16:00):
Okay, okay.

Sunny (16:01):
Okay, so what we have there, if you are, if you were
paying attention at home, it iswe have the second house, the
sixth house, the eighth houseand the 12th house are in what
we call aversion, because noplanet in those signs, in those

(16:28):
houses can see the first house.

Bootes (16:33):
Hmm, okay, they don't make any of those, either trine
or square, or sextile, oropposition to the first house.
None of those angles are beingpresented.
If a planet is in either a six, eight or 12, right.

Sunny (16:55):
Six, eight or two or two.

Bootes (16:59):
Okay, two as well, that's right.

Sunny (17:01):
Yes, new word polemic, Polemic, polemic, polemic is
With a P.
With a P, and those are thenames for those aspects.
Okay, okay, some modernastrologers have come up with
other aspects.
Good for them.

(17:22):
I don't use them, you know,okay.

Bootes (17:26):
Okay, Nothing wrong with them.
I've heard people say that youcan get a lot of information out
of looking at them, but they'rejust not classical or
Hellenistic or medieval aspectsand arguably you can get
everything out of the Ptolemaicaspects that you can get out of

(17:49):
the non-Ptolemaic aspectsanyways.

Sunny (17:52):
So back to my point about .
I was talking about Venus andthen we went I went off into
Diversion Land, but what happens?
Here we have Venus, lovelydomicile, dignity and no

(18:15):
relationship to Horus in thefirst.
So what that says to me,because Venus is the planet that
rules both you this year.
You know your, your, yourpersonality, or who you're, who

(18:38):
you're showing up as, OkayBecause of the fact that it
rules the first house.

Bootes (18:44):
Yes, exactly, which is Horus?
Okay.

Sunny (18:48):
And then it also rules the sixth house, and so you go.
Well, what are the sixth house?
What's what?
What kind of things are in thesixth house?
It's health, it's small animals, pets, you know.
And when we say small animals,we're not talking like an ox or
a horse, you know, somethingsmaller than that, but usually

(19:13):
pets we're talking about.
In ancient times, astrologersdelineated the sixth house to
talk about slaves a littleuncomfortable.
But what we do have are thoseroutine tasks that in in another

(19:34):
time in life we might have saidthat this person can do that
for me.
You know, filing right, trashout, you know just that, that
routine stuff.
That man, if I could give thisjob away, I would, you know
right.

Bootes (19:53):
Just to be extremely clear absolutely not endorsing
slavery or saying that astrologyis pro slavery.
It is just an uncomfortablefact of human existence that
people got this idea that theycould own each other, and it was
common enough that it gotworked into something that

(20:14):
applies to everyday life, like anatal chart and like astrology,
and so now, instead of that,it's kind of been translated
into like employees orsubordinates, hasn't it?

Sunny (20:29):
It has.

Bootes (20:30):
Yes.
Yes, people that you supervisethe wording yeah, having Venus
there.
I didn't get it.
I definitely didn't get anybeautiful employees this year.

Sunny (20:45):
I wonder if it's around people you work with, hmm.

Bootes (20:51):
So well I work with you.
You are very beautiful.

Sunny (20:54):
Well, and it's not.
Thank you, not so much aboutbeauty it can be beauty, but
it's like calming, like the oilsthat they would pour on you and
you know, and soothe you andcalm you.
It's that kind of you know ofof energy.

(21:16):
In addition, the sun is there.
It can feel like a little bitlike it's shining a light, a
spotlight, you know, or one ofthose you know big flashlights.
The things that are either feelsatisfactory or don't feel
satisfactory are very much inthe spotlight.

Bootes (21:40):
And I could see how that has been this year have been to
be working at something that Ido care about and that I do
think is beautiful and pleasantand satisfying to me, to my soul
, and those things can be kindof hard to find just having work

(22:04):
, jobs and everything.
Most people don't super carefor jobs, things that you just
do because you have to begetting a paycheck.
Having that all happening inthe sixth house together has
been that there has been a bigspotlight on my day to day and
in the things that I'm doingjust to bring in a paycheck and

(22:28):
how I want it to be somethingbeautiful and I want it to be
something good.

Sunny (22:33):
That sounds very much like what we had here, what we
talked about here.

Bootes (22:42):
And then I'm noticing how that's then in opposition
directly across from like Chironin my 12th house there in Ares
and I'm not so sure exactly howto interpret that.

(23:02):
I know Chiron is about, butasteroid Chiron is about wounds,
like psychological and physical, and being there in the 12th
house of like secret enemies andmental illness and self-undoing

(23:25):
and the imprisonment, eitherliteral or like being imprisoned
in your own mind.
Fortunately I have not gone toprison this year so far.
You know bat and a thousand onthat and I have not dealt too

(23:45):
much with like mental healthissues.
I would actually say that thisyear my mental health has
improved for the most part inlooking back and I kind of
haven't kept up on it super well, but for about a month, month
and a half, something like thatI was in the habit of meditating

(24:09):
just for like five and then 10and then maybe 15 minutes just
about every day and in doingthat I saw my general anxiety
levels reduce significantly.
And so in relation to SixthHouse being routine and then

(24:33):
Chiron over in the 12th house,of that you know self-undoing,
are you saying that your pointin that how Jupiter is also
there in the 12th house in Ares,do you think that that played a
role?

Sunny (24:49):
I absolutely think that that played a role.
If you look, that is a closerwell, it's a very close aspect
with Venus.
Having both benefits engaged inan aspect is pretty potent.

(25:12):
That's you know.
They're bouncing good juju backand forth with each other.
So absolutely, I would saythat's you know.
I'm not wanting to dump on anytheory that you have as far as
you know, but I would sayJupiter in the 12th would

(25:38):
definitely be an expression, especially especially opposite
Venus is definitely anexpression of yeah, it just
feels big, I know yeah.

Bootes (25:55):
And Jupiter even being in its own.
That's in the smaller portionthat first fifth of Ares,
jupiter is in its own.
That's the face right.

Sunny (26:08):
I think so.
It's either face or terms.
I can't remember which one I'veset up here.

Bootes (26:16):
Yeah, so that has worked out pretty well.
I'd say all of that has gonepretty nicely for me this year.

Sunny (26:25):
Excellent, yeah, I mean, and you know, and that seems
very, very indicative, all aboutour fifth house there, we've
got Mercury there in Virgo inits own sign, or one of its two
signs Creativity.

Bootes (26:44):
Yeah, I've gotten into doing some jewelry making and
wire wrap this year.
I started off by trying to getinto cross stitching and seeing
if that was for me.
That was not for me, eventhough it was in Virgo, which
can be very you know, it's thesmall details and what I would

(27:05):
often consider the tedium ofthings.
Cross stitch ended up being toosmall of details and being too
lengthy for me.
Mad respect to anybody who doesthat and enjoys it, because I
really enjoy looking at crossstitch.
That's why I got wanted to getinto it in the first place.
But jewelry making and wirewrapping ended up being a lot

(27:28):
more what I have come to enjoyand spend some more of my time
doing for creativity.
So this is the first time I'velooked at this solar return
chart at all.
I was barely even starting toget into astrology at the time
that all of this took place, andthis year I still was like

(27:52):
found myself itching for somesort of creative outlet outside
of just the music, that I alsodo something that more tangible
and that I could, you know, haveto look at after I was done
with it.
So it's funny that that endedup being you know, it's even

(28:13):
better.
What.

Sunny (28:16):
Mercury rules.
It's flexible metal, right it'sone.

Bootes (28:27):
Oh, that's funny.

Sunny (28:32):
I mean, you could almost look at this chart and go oh no,
you don't, you need, you needmetal, you need, you need wire
wrapping.

Bootes (28:46):
And then it being in the term or face there of Mars, in
that portion of Mercury, so it'sin the spot that's particularly
sensitive to or represented byMars.
And then, if you look over atMars, mars is in Mercury's ruled

(29:08):
house, in the Mars term, and itis in the second house, which
is like wealth and money and I'mwire wrapping stones, which
used to be more so, is stillkind of is, you know, the
valuable, the tangible wealth ofstuff you can stick in your
pocket or your little purse andcarry around with you, and so

(29:33):
that kind of ties together aswell.

Sunny (29:38):
I love it.
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I think youmentioned Gemini.
Mercury is, mars is in Gemini.
Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, I meanit's like all these
correspondences, very, veryterrific, you know so moving
right along.

Bootes (29:58):
We haven't yet touched on the ninth house.
We've got Pluto in Capricorn upthere.
That being Pluto being, youhave described it in the past as
being volcanic eruptions bigsudden changes which usually at
first are disasters but then endup.

(30:22):
You know, volcanic soil is someof the most fertile that we
have for growing the things thatwe love in life, and I started
off this year by getting into anIT program at my local
community college, trying towork towards a certificate and
deciding that I didn't likepaying for stuff that I could

(30:44):
learn on the internet, and am nolonger pursuing that directly.

Sunny (30:50):
Yeah, I mean, that makes that, makes total sense.
Pluto there would be, you knowwould be it's.
Pluto is delving in, is depth.
It does not say that it has tobe delving in in a classroom
with a, with a doctor you know.
Yeah, it's actually, you know, inviting you to participate in

(31:16):
that in some way.
I mean, I don't I don't knowwhether Pluto has a has an
opinion on higher education, andyou know loan.

Bootes (31:28):
Yeah, we bring in higher education into the conversation
because the ninth houserepresents higher education and
pursuit of greater knowledgethat we go after either in
school or just pursuing itourselves for our own enrichment

(31:48):
, on you know, on our own time.

Sunny (31:51):
Right, no, I was making.
I was making a joke about loanpayments as opposed to you know.
Does Pluto require that you youtake a classically you know,
certified training, or is Plutomore interested in?
Let's just delve in and learn.

Bootes (32:14):
Okay, and astrology is a ninth house topic, is it not?

Sunny (32:19):
Absolutely.

Bootes (32:22):
And that has definitely been what I've been diving the
deepest into over this last year.

Sunny (32:32):
Absolutely yeah, yeah.

Bootes (32:35):
And then in the 10th house we've got the Moon and
Saturn both there in Aquarius.
Saturn rules Aquarius.
The 10th house tends to becareer honors, fame, what you're
known for those sorts of things.
Saturn is kind of restrictiontends to be, but also

(32:59):
foundations and, like we talkedabout in last week's episode, is
walls and both boundaries andthose boundaries and those
foundations.
How would you, in looking atthat 10th house, what would you
say about that?

Sunny (33:19):
Saturn is.
It's very context dependent, right, if we are doing hard work
and you know putting in theeffort that we need to put in,
and Saturn comes along and says, here you go, here's some help.
If we are screwing aroundwatching TV and you know not

(33:46):
doing anything, saturn comesaround and says what are you
doing?
Okay, so it's very, it's a verycontext dependent.
This 10th house with the Moon.
Here I want to address the Moonfirst because your comment

(34:09):
about 6th house, you talkedabout how you've been spending
all this year trying to.
You want to do things, dosomething that is meaningful, is
beautiful or at least in someway is beautiful.

(34:29):
It doesn't have to.
That's Moon in the 10th as well.
Moon in the 10th is very muchabout.
This has to what I'm spendingmy time, my precious time, away
from the things and people thatI love.

(34:49):
That has to mean something andif it doesn't mean anything,
then what the hell's the point?
Absolutely, the Moon is very, very set up like this.
It's about looking for thingsthat mean something, things that

(35:14):
are just feel like they'regrounded in you, in what matters
to you, so that I mean and thatcan be anything, that can be
somebody, can be like I, to me,drawing anime characters.
That is the thing that lightsme up and that's what they, if

(35:37):
they have Moon in the 10th,that's what they'll be drawn to,
even though a bunch of the someof the world won't even care
about their drawings, right, because it's, you know, very
specific, make sense.
It's what lights you up, okay,so, and then can conjunct not

(36:02):
quite out of orb, really, butco-present, with Saturn in
Aquarius.
So Saturn in Aquarius, this isthe third planet in domicile or
in this chart, which you know, which says to me, that says to

(36:22):
me oftentimes, planets who areable to manifest.
Okay, saturn in Aquarius istalking about how do we get this
?
How do we get this done?
How can we do this in a, in away that helps you, helps other

(36:45):
people?
Aquarius is about especiallylarge groups of people and and
is done with a you know, with afoundation, you know, or or you
know, within these restrictions.

Bootes (37:06):
Okay, yeah, and I also have heard a lot about Aquarius
being kind of a the unwittingleader, in that Aquarius kind of
does its own thing and doesn'tso much care about the fact that

(37:29):
it's on the, that it's more onthe outskirts or out on the
fringe of of society and it'svery, but it's at the same time,
very related to society in thefact that it knows it's not
deeply participating right therein the middle.
And that's something that I'vethought about a lot with getting

(37:50):
so involved in astrology thisyear and in starting the podcast
and stuff, is that I'm kind ofchoosing a path and it's a path
that for a lot of society is nothighly popular.
There's a lot of who pooing ofastrology and people.

(38:12):
Our society in general is notvery about it.
It's looked at as verysuperstitious and I'm aware of
that and it's been somethingthat I've definitely considered
in that, you know, I'm I'mattaching my face and well, I
have, I use a stage name, butyou know I'm attaching my

(38:34):
reputation another 10th housetopic to astrology.
But it's because of what itmeans to me that moon in the
moon there in the 10th house andalso that I have seen it have a
positive effect on the peoplearound me when I'm able to do

(38:59):
just telling a friend about atransit that they have coming up
.
And it was like they've got Marsand cancer and Mars was
transiting cancer earlier thisyear, and so I did some digging
into that and what that mightlook like and told him about
that, just thinking, just likedoing it for fun, you know.

(39:19):
And he came back to me and toldme how meaningful it was to him
and how it made him feel likehe really did have a place in
this world and that you knowhe's accounted for and that he's
not an aberration just herewithout purpose, that he's

(39:44):
actually, that the universeitself is thinking about him and
is about him.
And that was a moment for me.
It was kind of an aha momentwhere I was like this really can
benefit people and make peoplefeel like they have, they do
have a place and that they areseen and that they do matter.

(40:08):
And I was like, okay, that'sthat kind of settles it.
This is for me, this is what I,what I really want to do.

Sunny (40:20):
Marvellous.
Oh my God.
Yeah, I'm going to stop sharing.
I don't know if it sounds likeyou.
You know that chart mattered orworked for you.

Bootes (40:39):
Yeah, yeah, the one thing we didn't get to get into
was that 11th house there withNeptune in Pisces.
I did want to ask a little bitabout that because Neptune as in
the nature of Neptune is kindof can be difficult to describe,
but you have a much better timewith it.

(41:00):
It seems like.
How would you talk about thatNeptune in Pisces happening in
an 11th house place?

Sunny (41:12):
So with Neptune especially, I talk about
high-vibed, low-vibed.
Every all the planets have ahigh-vibed, low-vibed, but it's.
It feels like there's so muchconfusion around Neptune, and
there's a reason for that.
But high-vibed Neptune is thosefantasies, those idealistic

(41:41):
kinds of things where you it'slike, you know, let's, let's
rent a boat and sail to theCaribbean.
And you know, there's, there'sa.
Do you know how to sail?
No, but that's okay, it's justthat you know it's.
It's just that it's almost nottethered to reality.

(42:02):
But but in a way it is becauseit could be and you know.
So it's, it's all of thoseaspirational states, okay, okay,
Low-vibed.
Low-vibed Neptune is confusion, and confusion can be deliberate

(42:26):
confusion.
You know.
Confusion can be deception.
It's.
It's like if you take an objectand you set it in a few inches
of of water, you know whichNeptune is the god of the ocean,
right?
So if you set that object inand then you try to reach in and

(42:48):
grab that, very often you arenot going to be able to grab the
object on the first try.
It's, you know it's.
It's like it's like refraction,it's like you know things that

(43:08):
I'm pretty sure it's like thisand then, oh no, it's not like
that at all.
You know, or it's, or it's.
I'm pretty sure it's like thisand oh, it's all of that, except
for a little bit.
So Neptune is kind of where weeither fantasize have, have

(43:30):
these, these fantasies, or wherewe have this confusion.
To boil it down, okay, eleventhhouse is groups and
associations.
It is extended family shows upin the in the eleventh house,

(43:54):
you know, like my, you know myaunt's grandmother kind of.
You know, I mean that, thatkind of that kind of thing.
So, in terms of groups andassociations that you're hanging
out with, are you, are younoticing either or both of those
high, low states of Neptune?

Bootes (44:18):
I would say that I've seen for the most part, like my
groups and associations havebeen pretty good.
It's been pretty, pretty highvibe.
A lot of this year has been mygroup has been largely the
people that I do work with atShining Lotus getting to develop

(44:41):
a really cool sort of tribethere and make I've made some
new friends there and it doesn'tthus far seem like there's been
a whole lot of low vibe.
Everything has been prettystraightforward and has been
pretty, pretty dreamy.

(45:02):
But I don't know if it almostseems like Neptune's just been
kind of chilling up there andhasn't been very turbulent for
me this year, which I amcertainly grateful for.

Sunny (45:18):
It's not something that I tend to see having a huge.
The outers are not somethingthat I tend to see having a huge
prominence in solar returns.
I tend to.
I tend to, you know, give more, give more focus to the inner
planets, not inner, not totallyinner, but Saturn on in, you

(45:42):
know.
Yeah.
Yeah, and that might be becauseof ancient, when you know, when
these techniques were developed,they weren't.
They didn't have Neptune andUranus, and you know so.

Bootes (46:06):
Well, yeah, that pretty much covers my entire solar
return chart.
Hopefully this has beensomething that hasn't been too
solely focused on me andeverybody listening has been
able to learn a little bit orhas found the conversation
interesting.
I know that for me, a lot of mylearning in astrology has just

(46:28):
been by listening to people talkabout it and picking things up
from there, so I hope that therehas been some good content
there for all of our lovelylisteners to pick up on and kind
of add to their own repertoireof knowledge and understanding.

Sunny (46:47):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, listening to people delineate
charts is the first step todelineating charts yourself, and
you know, I know you're not, you're beyond that.
But if people are interested indoing this, you know, hang out.

Bootes (47:07):
And if you want to have your solar return chart done,
there actually happens to besomebody whom I know who I would
very highly recommend forgetting a solar return chart
consultation, because, as we allknow, sunny does lovely
astrological readings andconsultations and would be more

than happy to take some time andgo over yours with you.
