Hey Astro Friends, this is
Astrology AF, the show that
talks everything astrology aboveand below the totally real, not
at all illusory sky.
I'm Sunny, your host, with over30 years of chart reading
experience.
And I'm Boots, your hostling, with almost 30 years experience
questioning innocent people totears.
(00:30):
We're here to walk with youthrough the twinkling starlight
into the basic, the advanced andthe obscure.
Hi and welcome to Astrology AFPodcast.
I'm Boots and I'm Sunny, andwe're here today to talk to
y'all about the planet Jupiter.
So Jupiter is the second tolast planet in our series, one
(00:54):
of the big guys out there, andhe has a lot of significations
of things that we tend to like, and so we call him the greater
benefic.
Yeah.
And, interestingly, when youthink about the astronomy, the
science of the planets and theastrology, there are so many
(01:19):
little ways that they overlap.
For example, jupiter is a gasgiant, okay, and Jupiter in
astrology refers to expansionand growth, and you know, you
can just envision gas expandingright, even though that may not
(01:41):
be what happens with the planet.
I don't know for sure.
The point is, the physicalproperties of the planet
underlie the significance thatastrologers gave it, even though
there's no way they could haveknown that information at the
(02:06):
time.
So, I love that.
I love that.
I love to geek out with thatkind of thing.
The more scientific, measurablethings that we've only been
(02:27):
able to really figure out in thelast 200 years roughly end up
fitting in with this ancientunderstanding that we also have
of things having to do with theplanet.
For instance, jupiter inHellenistic astrology is the
ruler of the night firetriplicity.
(02:48):
Um, so uh, in a night chart, jupiter is the fire planet, um,
and then it.
You know, thousands of yearslater we go and we're able to
get telescopes and uh spacecraftand stuff out there to see it
and oh, hey, turns out it'spretty red, it's pretty fiery
(03:08):
looking yeah.
Yeah, and again something thatancient astrologers in Greece
would not have known, right theyintuitively knew somehow.
It came through in some kind oftransmission.
I don't know.
I don't know, anyway.
(03:30):
So that's a really interestinglittle bit about Jupiter.
Jupiter rules the signs Piscesand Sagittarius.
Pisces is the nighttime sign ofJupiter and Sagittarius is the
daytime sign of Jupiter, andboth are, you know, carry a lot
(03:56):
of the significations of Jupiteritself.
You know, happy-go-lucky, youknow, things just seem to go
well for these people, you know, which we always love.
Sure, you know, that's great,of course.
(04:16):
Being in a greater beneficposition.
Like Sunny was saying, it tendsto do a lot of the things that
we love.
And the things that Jupitertends to represent are, like
Sunny was saying, it tends to doa lot of the things that we
love and the things that Jupitertends to represent are, like
she was saying, largeness, expansiveness, things having to
do with like luxury.
Jupiter has also beenassociated in many places with
(04:40):
royalty, and so the dignity andthe beneficence and the um, uh,
more along the lines of like agood leader, a good monarch,
right, somebody who is there tohelp their people, who isn't
there to just rule with an ironfist, jupiter is a a jolly,
(05:01):
jolly giant out there is kind ofhow I think of them.
I picture them a lot, as in theMuppets, christmas Carol or
what, what's the name of it.
It was screwed.
Yeah.
Christmas Carol.
Okay, yeah, that's the name ofit.
It's not December.
I can't remember Christmasmovie names, but in the
(05:22):
Christmas Carol they have theghost of Christmas present.
Who's this giant bearded redguy right and in my mind that's
Jupiter's profile picture.
That's his icon.
Is the ghost of Christmaspresent from Christmas Carol?
(05:49):
Carol.
Yeah, I mean, and you know, ifyou, if you think about that,
and I'm I'm less clear on thatparticular scene in that
particular movie, but I oftenreference the same story told in
movie form, just in as a liveaction.
You know Christmas Carol movie, and you know when Scrooge walks
into the room where the ghostof Christmas present is, there
(06:10):
is a feast over here and thereare piles of presents over here,
and you know when you thinkabout that, that's, the piles of
presents are generosity.
You know it's, it's oh, here'sa present, oh, and here's
another one.
Because I saw this and I knewyou, I knew you wanted it.
(06:31):
You know, and just overdo, almost overdoing, you know the
feasting is, you know again,it's, it's, it's, it's
everything that feasting, youknowing, seems to mean for us.
It's having sufficient amounts,it's enjoyment.
(06:51):
Those are all very Jupiterianthings.
Yeah, yeah.
Jupiter is the one who has theparty together, is at the head
of the table, is saying refilleveryone's cups, bring everybody
more hors d'oeuvres, and is themusic good?
We can make the music louder.
(07:12):
All of that kind of stuff isreally just a great.
Generous, hospitable host is alot of the energy that I tend to
think about with jupiter right,yeah.
And so if you in your own birthchart, or if you encounter
somebody with a birth chart thathas, well, we all have a birth
(07:34):
chart.
But if they have Jupiter inPisces, in Sagittarius,
sagittarius or in Cancer, whichis the exaltation of Jupiter,
this is Jupiter being very freeto enact all of those hostly
(07:55):
duties or hostly energies.
You know it's a very fortuitousposition.
Okay, okay, yeah, is there.
I'm trying to think if there'sanything outside of that that I
tend to think of with Jupiter, Iguess maybe some.
How would you kind of outlinethe differences of a Sagittarian
(08:22):
Jupiter energy versus a PisceanJupiter energy?
And then I really know verylittle about Jupiter in Cancer.
My guess would be that it isvery home-oriented.
Yeah, home, family, that kind ofthing, yeah, yeah, okay, a
Cancerian Jupiter versus aPiscean Jupiter.
(08:47):
A Sagittarian is more outgoing,it's more help me, yin, or it's
more yang.
Yang.
That would be the yang.
Yeah, okay, so it's the yinversion it's the go, yeah, okay.
So version it's the the the goit's the um.
(09:07):
A lot of times when I'm talkingto people with um strong, um,
sagittarian energy, I'm talkingto them about adventures.
You know, like you know, maybethey are striking out and going
going somewhere.
Just, I don't know, I don'tknow how this is going to work
out, but it'll be.
You know, I, I talk very, verymuch with Jupiter, with the
(09:32):
energy of the fool tarot card, you know where, just about to
walk off a cliff and completelyblithe and unconcerned cliff,
and completely blithe andunconcerned, you know, and and
(09:53):
you go.
This is, this is not going towork out well, but by golly it
always does.
You know, it's all.
A jupiter key phrase could befine.
Yes, yes, we could definitelysay that you know so, and and
Jupiter Sagittarius is is thatit's?
You know it's, it's going to befine, it's going to be fine.
(10:14):
In Pisces it's more inner, it'smore turned inward.
Okay, it's an inner knowingthat things are going to be fine
, instead of a outwardexpression okay it's a um, it's,
(10:35):
it's, it's receptiveness.
You know, like this ishappening, and instead of being
upset by this, you know, insteadof fighting against this
energetically, I'm just going togo with it.
It'll be fine.
(10:59):
Jupiter and Sag might be sayingI'm going to go do these things
and it's going to turn out fine, and then Jupiter and Pisces is
things are going to happenaround and to me and I'm going
to be fine, right, right, okay, okay, okay.
So, um, then in cancer we justsaid that it's kind of going to
(11:25):
be more home oriented.
I would, I would think thatit's a little bit closer to that
.
Um, pisces energy, because it'swater.
Um, yeah, yeah, how do you, howhave you kind of seen that play
out for people?
so it it's.
You know, I know somebody withJupiter in cancer and they not
(11:57):
only have their family and youknow who they are but they tend
to create family out ofunrelated people.
You know like like kind ofadopt them as their sister or or
brother, you know, and andthink of them that way, you know
(12:20):
, and then then as such theyadvocate for them just the same
way they would do for theirtheir natural born siblings okay
you know, um, yeah so it's it's.
It's that kind of energy whereit's like you know, I, I create
a family.
Yeah, I add on to my familywith these people, and it's not
(12:48):
for everybody, they don't do itwith everybody, although they
tend to not be terriblyexclusionary.
You know yeah.
Oh, you're not my family.
Get away Okay yeah.
They're not like that, but somepeople, they just take in okay
you know, yeah, that's somethingthat, um, I think about with
(13:11):
cancer is that, um, like canceris family.
It tends to be, uh, family andlike home oriented, but there's,
like a strong shell, there is aborder around who those people
are right, and if you're in,you're in, if you're out, you're
out, and so mixing jupiter withthat is let's, let's push that
(13:34):
boundary out a little bit let'sloosen that up.
Get in here, we got space, wegot more room.
Yeah, yeah okay, so jupiter andcancer is kind of an adoptive
sort of energy and that they'rewilling to add to the family.
Um, again, like you said, notnecessarily everybody, but it's
a little bit more of anexpansive definition of what
(13:55):
family means right okay, interesting, I didn't know that.
Yeah, and then the fall or thesigns of detriment for Jupiter
are the Mercury ruled signs, which I think we hit on in an
(14:15):
earlier podcast, but it's Geminiand it's Virgo.
So Jupiter there is a littleless free to move, a little less
free to expand and grow the waythat Jupiter likes to do.
(14:35):
Okay, you know Right, becausethose are Mercury's houses.
Mercury is just a little guy,so it's trying to fit a giant
into a gnome's house.
I mean, maybe that is therationale.
I have no idea why.
That's how I'm thinking of it.
Okay, okay.
That works.
(14:57):
Because it works.
I think it was in the Mercuryepisode that we had talked about
it, because Mercury does not dowell in Jupiterian science.
Mercury has its detriments inPisces and Sagittarius, and I
think of that as if Mercury isthis little guy with wings and
stuff.
He's going to have a rough timein the open ocean and he's
(15:19):
going to have a rough time ifhe's going through a forest fire
and he's going to have a roughtime if he's going through a
forest fire, and then jupiterisn't going to do great in this
position of the, the beancounting virgo energy.
Jupiter is not about tinydetails.
Jupiter is about bigger picturestuff and then in gemini, being
(15:39):
this just like kind of I Idon't know the difference
between Gemini and Sagittariusthat are directly opposite might
be kind of more of having to dowith that.
Jupiter might want to getbigger about individual things,
like more study into aparticular subject, whereas
(16:04):
Gemini has this energy of I'mgoing to get a little bit of
this and then I'm going to get alittle bit of this and then I'm
going to get a little bit ofthis and just kind of like
jumping around and those arejust sort of opposing energies.
Yeah, jupiter is not nearly asflaky as mercury is yeah, and I
don't mean that, like you know, terrible, but it's.
(16:26):
You know mercury is not good atsitting in one place for one
for any length of time.
You know it likes to move.
So you know when, when, whendealing with, for example, a
course of study like you werejust talking about.
It's you know it wants to onceover everything.
You know and hope, hope we getit.
(16:49):
But if we don't, it's okay,we'll move on, we'll get it
sometime, you know.
Yeah.
So Mercury or not MercuryJupiter through the houses?
Mercury or not Mercury Jupiterthrough the houses?
If we have Jupiter showing upin the first house, what's that
going to tell us about somebody?
(17:11):
So that tends to tell us,depending on sign, that tends to
tell us that this person isgoing to show up with a
Jupiterian type of personalityOkay, they're going to be
(17:38):
expansive, they're going to havethis physique that is just big,
and I don't mean fat, I justmean, you know, they have broad
shoulders, a big chest, you knowjust, they're often very tall,
(17:59):
you know just kind of that, that, that a little bit burly, a
little bit big.
That's very classic.
Jupiter, first house.
Okay, yeah, and then does ittend to throw in also those
(18:19):
characteristics of the, like yousaid, talkative but expansive
interests maybe, or justsomebody who's generous and has
that beneficent sort of attitudeabout them?
(18:46):
because if we're talking Jupiterin Virgo in the first house,
you know it's going to be less, less of that expansiveness.
You know, because Jupiter isalready kind of hampered by by
the Virgo energy Um.
But you know, there, therethere may be some things that
you know little little justbreakthrough, things that come
through that are like, oh,expansiveness, and you know it's
(19:10):
it's, it can be a little bittake you by surprise.
Okay, yeah.
But if Jupiter is in Cancer, ifJupiter is in Pisces, in the
first house, then it's, you know, expansion city okay, yeah then
(19:30):
, uh, jupiter in the secondhouse having to do with our uh,
resources, um, that I would.
I would have thought initiallythat that would be like great,
you know lots of resources.
That's awesome.
And something that I had heardyou bring up was that sometimes
(19:53):
it can just be like being reallyoptimistic about resources kind
of depending on sign optimisticor just in, in the sense of
having enough.
Not having vast storehouses ofgold coins piled up, you know.
But having enough, you know Ican.
(20:16):
I can go to starbucks when Iwant to go to starbucks, I can.
You know, I can buy a newoutfit when I want to buy a new
outfit.
They're not rolling in it, youknow.
Yeah.
Yeah, cause initially when I,you know, when I first started
reading for people, I was likeJupiter in the second house is
going to be, you know, scroogeMcDuck, you know, you know in
(20:41):
money and and and rarely, rarelyis that true it's more of a, um
, just an energy of I haveenough, I have, I'm okay, I'm
doing okay, okay yeah, sort of amindset around it right, right,
okay.
Right, right, okay.
So then in third house is gonnaI know that from personal
(21:07):
experience Jupiter in three and, like your local community,
those third house topics, aswell as communications and
education, those sorts of things, and Jupiter, there can be a
little bit more of maybe whatyou would just first think off
(21:30):
the bat of, like lots ofcommunications.
I don't shut up and I haveJupiter in the third house and
then siblings.
I've got two siblings and I seeit in other people's charts and
that one has seemed to kind ofdepending on sign, but that has
seemed to be fairly consistent.
(21:51):
Mm.
Hmm, yeah, it can.
Regarding siblings, it can beabout the relationships with the
siblings.
So you know, you may have a lotof siblings and you're close to
(22:13):
them.
You know you have.
You have supportiverelationship with your siblings.
Okay, yeah.
Yeah, that makes sense.
That fits with what I've seenso far and in my experience.
Yeah.
Yeah, and then Jupiter in thefourth house.
Did you just grow up in amansion?
(22:34):
If you have Jupiter in thefourth house?
I mean you could it also.
You know it's also your familyof origin, so this can go to
that where you know, maybe youdidn't grow up in a mansion but
you grew up in something thatwas enough and your relationship
(22:56):
with your parents, which isprimarily, you know, siblings.
Siblings are the other peoplethat um grew up in our childhood
home with us and we've alreadycovered them.
We've already talked about themin third house, so in the
fourth it's parents.
Okay.
Um and um.
So Jupiter there can be.
(23:19):
You know you have a goodrelationship with your parents.
Um, it can also oddly be umlike.
You have multiple of like, twofathers okay you know, yeah, um,
where you know, where otherpeople just have one okay, yeah,
(23:42):
yeah, interesting.
I wouldn't have thought of thatas being I.
I had.
I thought of that like maybe itmeans you've got an unusually
large number of parents ingeneral.
But, um, that could be either, you know, the parents being
raised by, like a communitybeing raised by, either, uh,
(24:05):
like all these aunts and uncles, that sort of thing.
It could be that your parentsare polyamorous and you've got
like multiple parental figures.
Um, you know, there's like Icould see a couple of different
ways that that could play out.
Right, right, yeah.
Or growing up in a communitylike an ideological yeah you
(24:26):
know, but where you know, whereeverybody raises everybody
else's kids okay, a village sortof set up wedge sort of set up,
yeah, yeah okay nice and thenuh up in the fifth house of
creativity, in children.
if you've got Jupiter there, that could very well mean kids,
(24:50):
lots of kids.
Could mean several kids, yeah.
Yeah, it could also be justexpansive creativity as well.
Right as well.
Right or great enjoyment insexuality, which is a topic that
(25:11):
I really haven't figured outhow to broach with people.
I don't want to be creepy.
Right, right.
But you know, yeah, creativity, recreation, just joy.
You know, the fifth house is agreat place to have Jupiter.
You know, if you look at yourown chart or look at someone
(25:33):
else's chart and you see Jupiterin the fifth, that's, that's,
that's like the lottery, yeah.
Yeah, I'd be really happy foranybody If I saw I would be
perfectly pleased with thatplacement myself.
I'm pretty sure.
Yeah, that's.
That's a good one.
That's a good one, yeah.
Yeah, and then oh, go ahead.
(25:56):
Well, I was going to.
I was going to take us into thesixth house.
Are you ready?
Okay, right along the sixthhouse, are you okay?
Okay, right along.
So then, in the sixth house, um, sixth house refers to everyday
tasks, kind of the, just theroutine stuff that we do.
Um, it refers to health of thephysical body.
It refers to small animals, okay, dogs, cats, that kind of
(26:24):
thing.
Um, pets are, are, are familymembers.
You know, um jupiter there tendsto be regarding the uh, health
of the body tends to be fairlyprotective.
Um, so, you know, this is a,this is a good sign.
(26:46):
Um, it, it, it tends to mean itdoesn't mean that things won't
happen, but it means that we,that we catch them and we heal
them.
You know, we, we cure them, um,as opposed to them ending us,
you know, as opposed to themending us, you know.
So, so you know it's, you know,I, I still tell people,
(27:08):
especially a lot of, a lot of myclientele tend to be older and
I'm like man, go to the doctor.
You know, even though, eventhough you have this, this
loveliness, in your sixth house,it's like that's, you know, a
lot of times what that can be isum doctor helps you live longer
(27:29):
, you know, yeah, yeah good luckwith physicians, type of stuff
you have, what you have or whatyou, what you develop through
life is something that iscurable and fixable.
Okay.
Yeah, you know so, but we haveto do the curing and the fixing.
Okay, yeah, yeah.
And then with the animals, itcould be that you have lots of
(27:50):
pets perhaps.
Right, it could be, yeah, andregarding everyday tasks, it can
be.
Just, you know, you know howsome people just really bitterly
complain about their you know,oh, I had to do this today,
(28:10):
jupiter, there, you're not thatway.
You're like oh, that was fine,it was great, I got it all done
and now I'm really happy thatyou know.
Whatever, really happy that I'm.
You know that it's whatever youknow.
So, okay, yeah, just kind ofbeing optimistic.
Optimistic and a good attitudeabout those issues, yeah, yeah,
(28:31):
okay, cool.
And then in the seventh house,uh, maybe you love big people,
you gotta love for the tall ones, for the thickens.
Maybe or maybe you just derive alot of joy and pleasure from
your relationships.
(28:55):
Yeah.
Yeah, I would imagine it meansyou're lucky with them,
especially.
And that you're lucky with them.
You're fortunate.
Lucky with them especially, andthat you're lucky with them,
you're fortunate.
You know it can also meanmultiples, just like we've seen
(29:24):
in some of the to that it's not, that's not a you know.
It doesn't have to be that, butit you know.
Sometimes it can show up likethat.
Okay, yeah, and then eighthhouse.
Yeah, eighth house.
So eighth house is ourresources that we have in common
(29:45):
with others, and so this is alargesse can be financial or can
be other kinds of resources, but a largesse that comes from
other people.
Okay.
Okay, go ahead.
And I know that, um, like ineighth house, also signifying
(30:09):
death, um, jupiter there thatcan be the way that death
symbolically fits into a chartis really interesting, cause
it's not always like, oh, you'regoing to have a Jupiterian
death or anything like that, oryou're going to experience lots
of death.
It doesn't necessarily meananything like that.
It can be that maybe you'rereally lucky around that and you
(30:35):
don't experience a lot of deatharound you, or that when your
time finally does come, it'sgood, it's a sweet release and
you're ready for it.
It's, you know, maybe anidealized.
You're surrounded by yourfriends and family members.
You're all saying I love you, Ilove you, and then you go back
(30:58):
to the big love and rejoin withthe lighter.
However, it happens that it canbe, it can fit in with that as
well, and I would imagine that,as with most other things, it is
a good place to have Jupiter.
(31:19):
Although, to be honest, there'sother places I would rather have
Jupiter.
Of course.
If I had to pick.
Right, I'm not just going todeliberately stick them in 6, 8,
or 12, you know.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
So 9th house, Jupiter.
(31:41):
How do you see Ninth HouseJupiter?
So Ninth House is all kinds oflearning topics.
Ninth House is spirituality, which involves learning a new
set of tenets, of rules Maybeit's the Ten Commandments or
(32:02):
whatever you know.
Maybe it's the Ten Commandmentsor you know whatever, but so
you know it's spirituality, it'slaw, it's travel, long distance
travel, which you know.
The ancients talked abouttravel over water, but they
(32:28):
lived in ancient Greece.
They lived in what is now knownas Greece not ancient Greece,
and that was not a very fardistance.
And so I haven't figured out ifthe ancient astrologers lived
in Kansas, how Ninth House wouldbe different, because I have a
(32:51):
feeling it would Right, yeah, inone place and go a long time in
a long way and travel manymultiples of how far you would
be traveling in Greece once youknow to get over water.
(33:12):
Yeah.
And yet is that still a thirdhouse topic, which is, just, you
know, local area.
Um right, I have trouble, Ihave trouble with that, but
anyway, that was a side sideit's.
I.
I think that that's verypertinent though, and it comes
(33:33):
up fairly often as we're goingthrough the houses with the
planets, um, because it is sortof sort of vague.
It's sort of vague I don'treally have to go over water to
get much of anywhere, um, and soI've heard so I I have heard it
talked about as well as jupiterbeing like special or not
jupiter, ninth house beingspecial trips, and then third
(33:57):
house is routine trips, that'sjust going to work every day, um
, and then ninth house is likevacation, or you're going on a
spiritual pilgrimage, um, you'regoing out and doing something
that you don't typically do.
I like that, yeah, interesting, yeah good way to, good way to
(34:19):
differentiate that I thoughtthat it was helpful for um
clearing that up a little bit, because it does confuse me as
well.
Yeah, yeah.
And then, oh, go ahead.
Tends to be associated withlike the equivalent of clergy,
(34:48):
like priests or, you know, shamans, that sort of thing.
And ninth house also isspirituality.
It's, you know, reaching outtowards God.
And so Jupiter in the ninthhouse, I have heard sometimes,
can show up literally assomebody being a spiritual
leader.
(35:14):
Hmm, hmm, yeah, yeah, definitelyare in the ninth house I have
heard sometimes can show upliterally as somebody being a
spiritual leader.
Yeah, yeah, definitely, um it.
It can also be just deriving agreat deal of.
You know deriving so much, youknow, a lot of pleasure from
your spiritual practice or fromyour travel, or you know it's
let's see what else, what elsefor them.
You know good fortune and manytrips, special trips.
(35:37):
You know traveling.
You know especially especiallytraveling long distances.
You know um traveling.
You know especially especiallytraveling long distances.
You know, yeah, yeah, no, allright.
Well, 10th house is going to be, uh, jupiter, showing up as
being really usually reallyhelpful to your career, to your
(36:01):
fame, what you're known for, theyou know your kind of mundane
descriptors, um, and dependingon, uh, what sign it falls in,
it can be that can literally beworking in like civics being in
a government position, it can bejust being in a leadership
(36:22):
position in general, filling outthat Jupiterian head of house
role in a work position.
Right, right, yeah, and justgeneral good fortune around
these things.
You know, tending to make gooddecisions in the realm of career
(36:45):
, whether it's, you know, um inin my current role or deciding
to um go to a different role, you know, and having having a
really fortunate situation there, you okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, um
(37:06):
11th house 11th house, um andthis is my placement, um 11th
house is tends to be a goodfortune in terms of people that
that they that they meet.
(37:26):
It's not quite the same as theturn them into family
designation, although it can be,but that people that you get to
know are helpful and supportiveand loving and all you know,
all those good things.
Okay, yeah, and I think thattakes us to 12th house.
(37:52):
It does take us to 12th house.
So 12th house is 12th house.
A lot of things.
12th house is the subconscious, the things that we I always
talk about, things that we don'tsee coming, like they seem to
be coming out of left field tous.
(38:13):
Other people are like oh man, Icould see that from a mile away
.
You know, you tell me it's,it's the.
It opposes the health of thebody, and so I tend to put
(38:34):
health of the mind into the 12thhouse.
Yeah it, it.
(38:56):
It references things like theways that we retreat, the ways
that we kind sequester myselfoff and, you know, don't let
anybody else in.
That's a form of imprisonment aswell you know, mixing in
(39:19):
Jupiterian qualities with thosethings where it's either like
the, the retreat and the hidingor the mental health.
Um, that could be either.
It could be kind of helpful.
It could be kind of your turnin Jupiter on its head and using
(39:41):
him in the least helpful wayspossible, right?
yeah, you could go really big onself-undoing you could, yeah,
um, I tend to think that jupiteris less helpful.
This is sort of like um in theeighth, um and in the sixth,
(40:02):
where it's like you know it'sit's less helpful.
It can be helpful in veryspecific, targeted ways, but
it's not this um, you know.
Global um, supportive energy,uh, it's, you know, because jup,
jupiter, can also be thingsexpanding.
(40:24):
So, you know, if there's, ifthere's issues with my mental
health Jupiter there can makethat bigger, make that feel
bigger.
You know, um, so it it becausethe 12th tends to be.
(40:50):
The 12th is a great house for umSaturn.
It's a not really great housefor Jupiter.
Right.
You know, because it just youknow, it's not how Jupiter runs
Right.
You know it's not how jupiterruns not right, you don't really
.
Uh, it's not always ideal tohave jupiter, um, kind of tucked
away in a difficult to operatespace, um.
(41:10):
But you know, I'd rather have Idon't know jupiter.
There it's.
It's always a mixed bag, youknow if, if you're somebody who
has jupiter in the 12th house,um, you might not experience any
of the stuff that we're talkingabout, or you could have
Jupiter there and you're sittinghere thinking like man, you
don't know the half of it.
(41:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, and you know.
So we're clear.
When I'm talking to a client, Idon't say things like this is a
terrible place to have thisplanet you know, because that's
where it is and we go, you know, and so I'm always looking for
how can I support this person?
Not, how can I tear them downand make them feel terrible
(41:54):
about their birth chart.
Right Cause there's, uh, there'sall of those those um the
mitigating factors too rightright, you know you can have
jupiter.
Maybe jupiter's in the 12thhouse, in virgo, but it's
getting hit by rays and beamsfrom other planets that are well
(42:16):
placed, and maybe you have aday chart, and so jupiter's in
its uh sect as well, and so he'sa little bit happier to be
there.
Um, all of these other thingsthat can really boost up
something that might otherwiseappear right off the bat to be
an oh, um, might actually turnout to be a bit of a boon to you
(42:38):
right, right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And so people like people withwith Jupiter in the 12th, I'm
talking to them about takingcare of their mental health,
paying attention to see thethings that are coming from left
field and just commendingjournaling and help people with
(43:11):
with those issues well, that'sthe 12 of them and we've gotten
through exaltations anddetriments and rulerships and
falls, and I think we've talkedthe only part that I can think
of that we haven't expansive orexpanding the luxurious
religions, the spiritualgenerosity.
(43:55):
Jupiter can indicate laxativesor loosening of things, untying
things, fruit trees, rich people, aristocrats, judges, priests,
feasting teachers, the spiritualteachers, rain, mercy, big
animals, gentle animals, helpfulanimals, and then for the
(44:19):
health and the body itrepresents, the left ear, the
lungs, blood and reproductivefluids.
Nice yeah, yeah.
All right, is there anythingelse you want to throw in there?
I know that currently Jupiteris in the sign of Taurus.
You got any notes on Jupiter inTaurus for us?
(44:41):
Yeah, so Jupiter in Taurus istalking about.
Taurus is all about, amongother things, but it's like food
luxury and not gold-platedluxury.
But you know, luxury like, oh,this blanket is so perfect, I
love this blanket so much, youknow.
And so Jupiter there isincreasing our just the way that
(45:05):
we're excited about thesethings.
It also increases the abilityto experiment, like with food.
Chocolate chip cookie was firstreleased under Jupiter in
Taurus.
No way.
Oh, that's awesome.
(45:30):
People are people.
You know.
Having people experiment withthings and try new things out,
see what comes about.
Jupiter.
The complicating factor for usthis time around is that Jupiter
is also co-present with Uranus.
Jupiter and Uranus are actuallygoing to be in a conjunction
(45:50):
not too long from now, whichwill be so.
Uranus is the energy ofrevolution.
It's the energy of suddenchange, and I always tell people
that Uranus is really valueneutral in terms of are you
going to like the change?
(46:10):
You know, it's like we're goingto change things and you may
like it and that's good, and ifyou don't like it, well, that's
good.
I mean, it's just whatever.
It is what it is, you know.
Yeah.
So Jupiter and Uranus togetherare talking and especially you
(46:32):
can then drag in Taurus into thesudden change, sudden shifts.
I didn't know that was going tohappen.
I didn't know that it's.
It's a different configurationor a different part of the chart
that talks about this.
But that video with the KeyBridge in Baltimore and the way
(46:54):
it just came down, that's a veryUranian energy.
It's more what's going on inPisces than what's going on in
Taurus, but it's a good exampleof what I'm talking about with
Uranus.
That bridge stood for 20 yearsand it was five seconds and the
(47:19):
whole thing was down.
So that's very Uranian.
Okay, and then Jupiter having alittle bit to do at least with
travel over water, the bridge.
Um, and what's coming to mindfor me is that, in general,
hopefully, the uh Jupiter Uranusconjunction will be more
(47:44):
positive, more pleasant than not, at least in the end results.
It might not be great whileit's happening, but as it's
happening in a Venus-ruled signand it is Jupiter, both benefics
, I would like to think thatit's going to tend to work out a
(48:05):
little bit better for us thanuh work against us right, right,
yeah.
And like I said, the the, thebridge bit is a different part
of the chart.
It's the pisces okay, yeah um,because of the water is,
tauraurus is not.
You know, travel over water.
(48:26):
Yeah, Taurus is staying in myfield munching grass.
Taurus is standing in the fieldmunching grass right.
Uranus and Jupiter are going tocombine to kind of, you know,
change some things around that.
Now, does that mean thathappens to every individual on
the planet?
No, it does not.
(48:47):
Some of us will just sit andwatch and go, wow, that was
really interesting.
And other people will have theexperience of having that happen
a little more closely.
Jupiter is at 16 degrees Taurusand Uranus is at 20.
So it's going to be a littlewhile.
(49:08):
Okay, but it's in orb.
It's in orb already yeah.
She's a common.
Yeah, I'll be looking forwardto it.
Okay, all right?
Well, that is all that I havegot on the planet of Jupiter.
