Dr Theja was educated in Germany (1971-1984) and started his career as a research scientist in Mineralogy and Gemmology. From 1991 - 1993 he was the United Nations Adviser on precious mineral products to the Government of Ghana. In 1993, after completing his UN assignment, he settled in Perth, Australia. In 1976 at the age of 25, he developed an interest in learning about spirituality and karma, leading him to study how the karmic journey is depicted in the birth chart. Due to his passion for doing research on spirituality and karma, in 1993 he gave up his career in Gemmology/Mineralogy and started to do research in Vedic Astrology to determine individuals' life paths and karma based on their birth charts.
Vedic Astrology is a predictive science that correlates the planets' movements with our life path. The various happenings in life can be depicted through the position of planets in the Vedic Sky and their positions at the time of an individual’s birth. The former is known as the transit position and the latter as the natal position.
