Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, and welcome back. Today, we are talking about my
favorite planet personally, which is Saturn. We're getting into all
things Saturn transits throughout this episode. The first part is
going to be me kind of giving an intro to
what Saturn transits are, what you can expect with them,
and also what it might be like having Saturn transit
(00:24):
through a certain house of your chart, as well as
aspecting natal planets and angles in your chart. And then
we're going to get into stories listeners have written in
about what it's been like having Saturn transit through the
pisc's world house of their charts. So what is the
phase that people are currently coming out of and what
have they learned through this recent Saturn transit through a
(00:46):
specific house, And that in turn may help the next
rising sign over figure out what they can anticipate with
Saturn now moving into this new part of their chart.
So I guess I should back this up a bit.
We're doing this episode because Saturn just moved into Aries
on May twenty fifth, twenty twenty five, and we're getting
(01:07):
this first initial ingressive Saturn into Aries up until September
first of this year, before Saturn will kind of like
backtrack into Pisss a bit, and then it'll move back
into aries fully from February twenty twenty six until April
of twenty twenty eight. We'll get into more exact dates
later on in this episode, but for now, know that
(01:29):
Saturn is now in arees and it's activating a new
house of your chart, and we're going to get into
what that means. I've also divided this episode up into
two parts because true to Saturn's form, it's going to
be a very long episode, and I wanted to get
to as many stories as possible of people's transit experiences
with Saturn because Saturn transits can manifest in several different
(01:53):
ways based on like the topics of whatever house it's activating,
so I wanted to give several instances of different ways
as a Saturn transit can play out, rather than just
like one experience. So this episode will be the intro
to Saturn and then houses Saturn transiting through houses one
through six, and then next week's episode will be the
(02:14):
wrap up in Saturn's transit what it's like when it
goes through houses seven through twelve. So keep that in
mind and let's get into it. Okay, So first let's
go over the basics of a Saturn transit. So Saturn
will typically spend about a two and a half year
long period in one sign and therefore one house of
your chart, because I use whole sign houses in my practice,
(02:37):
So the second Saturn and there's a new sign, it
activates a new house of your chart and it's actually
working with Saturn transits. That convinced me that I wanted
to switch over from Placidus to whole sign house system
because I just noticed how quickly the next houseover was
felt the second Saturn change sign. So could be interesting
(02:57):
to experiment with that in your own practic and looking
at your own chart. So depending on what how Saturn
is transiting through in your chart for this two and
a half to three year long period, that's going to
be very telling of bigger themes that you're experiencing during
that specific chapter of your life. So, as a side note,
if you're wanting to understand what are bigger year long
(03:19):
themes I need to be focusing on, always zoom in
on the transits of Saturn, Jupiter, and the North and
South nodes, and that'll pretty much tell you a lot
of what you need to know. For that specific year.
But back to Saturn. So when Saturn first inners this
new house of your chart and begins it's two and
a half year long transit there it brings these themes
(03:41):
that are very Saturnian to that particular area of your life.
Usually during that first year of Saturn in this new
part of your chart, you can feel very slowed down
or like this sense of heaviness come over you in
that part of your life, and looking at the themes
of that house that Saturn is activating, how how did
those themes just feel a lot more frustrating than they
(04:02):
did before? And how are you now being required to
put a lot more effort and time into that part
of your life. Saturn does not allow you to take shortcuts.
It's all about putting in a lot of hard work
at the moment in the moment, but then seeing long
term payoff. And I find that with Saturn transits, you're
(04:23):
establishing these necessary structures in your life and committing to
things that will ultimately serve you for the next couple
of decades. So it's not pointless hard work, though it
may feel very frustrating and slow and like things are
taking forever in the moment, you're ultimately glad that you
had that Saturn effect in that part of your life
(04:45):
because it got you to maybe face the reality of
how you had been going about that area or get
more serious about how you wanted to structure that part
of your life. Saturn basically has you thinking strategically about
the long term future in that area and may have
you questioning who and what is worth putting my time
(05:05):
and energy into. And if there are things that you
don't think are worth the effort anymore, they could fall
away or you're scaling back on that stuff during the
Saturn transit. But then on the other hand, there could
be certain areas that you want to further commit to
and that you are excited about, but they just require
more work and effort on your part. And honestly, Saturn
transits are my favorite because I feel like a lot
(05:27):
gets accomplished under them. I just feel like things happen
with Saturn that don't necessarily take hold or get the
same amount of work put in with them under other transits,
Like to contrast with Jupiter, for instance, Jupiter thought of
to be this like super lucky, fortunate transit, but sometimes
(05:48):
it can just feel overwhelming, and it's like, what exactly
do I want to commit to? And Saturn really has
you scaling back and thinking about, Okay, where is my
time and energy best allotted to and how can we
really focus on certain parts of this area of my life?
And a lot gets done under a Saturn transit, even
(06:08):
if it is super stressful. Okay, So now I want
to go over key dates for Saturn and Aries to
take note of. Maybe we want to put them in
your calendar even and this will just help you get
a better idea of the important timing of this transit. So,
as I mentioned before, Saturn first moved into Aries May
(06:28):
twenty fifth, twenty twenty five. It'll be there until September
one of twenty twenty five, this initial several month ingressive
Saturn into this new sign. A date I want to
call out within this next several month period is actually
July thirteenth. That is when Saturn will station retrograde in Aries.
And when a planet station's direct or station's retrograde, meaning
(06:52):
like that retrograde is either starting or it's ending, it
hovers at this exact degree in a sign. And that's like, really,
when you get a firm idea of like what that
transit is about for you. So if for the first
several months of Saturn and Ares, you aren't feeling a
lot of change happen there, you aren't seeing that new
(07:16):
area of your life take on greater prominence, then pay
attention to the days immediately surrounding July thirteenth, when Saturn
makes that first station and starts its retrograde in Aries
and this new sign in this new house of your chart,
because that's when you may start to feel things a
lot more intensely and this pressure to maybe change up
(07:36):
how you're going about that part of your life. Okay,
so then we jump ahead to September one, twenty twenty five,
that is when Saturn is still retrograded backtracks into Pisces
and wraps up its transit of Pisces until February thirteenth,
twenty twenty six. So we're not completely done with Saturn
and Pisces yet. Therefore, when we get into these transit
(07:57):
stories and I'll call out what rises signs need to
focus on each set of stories, you'll really want to
look at what cycle are you currently wrapping up in
the themes of those stories versus what are you now about
to shift into because still throughout the rest of twenty
twenty five and into early twenty twenty six, you're getting
(08:19):
a blend of both of those going on as you
finish up one and prepare to start in this new chapter.
Once we get to February thirteenth, twenty twenty six, Saturn
returns to Aries and it's fully in Aries and the
Aries ruled house of your chart until April twelfth, twenty
twenty eight. So you can think of these next few
months as a preview of what will become really important
(08:42):
and what you'll be restructuring in your life through majority
of twenty twenty six, all of twenty twenty seven, in
the first quarter or so of twenty twenty eight, this
longer two year process. So if things aren't immediately happening,
like I said, stay tuned, because you're about to spend
way more time I'm working on the themes of the
(09:02):
Ares world house in your chart. I just wanted to
go over a couple other important things to note before
we get into the stories. If you're looking at the
Areas world House of your chart, and you have planets
and ares in your chart, know that when Saturn reaches
the exact degree of those planets, you're gonna feel the
Saturn transit the most intensely at those times. So let's
(09:24):
say you have an Aries sun at one degree of Aries.
Therefore these next few months of Saturn and Aries, it's
going to be right on top of your Arie Sun.
So actually that out of that entire three year transit
that Saturn is in Aries, you're feeling it pretty much
the most intensely this this window in twenty twenty five
(09:45):
between end of May or early September, and then also right
at the start of its transit again in twenty twenty six,
so February March of twenty twenty six as well. But
if you have a later degree Aris sun, maybe you
have your son at like twenty eight degrees of Aries,
you won't feel Saturn so intensely, probably until the end
(10:05):
of twenty twenty seven early twenty twenty eight. So this
is just where it's really important to look at degrees
and planets and angles that fall at certain degrees in
your chart, not only of Aries, but also other planets
and angles that fall in cardinal signs. So Cancer, Capricorn, Libra,
and Aries Saturn will be aspecting the planets or angles
(10:28):
in your chart that fall in those signs, and when
it gets to the exact aspect with those planets or
those angles in your chart, that's when you're gonna feel
the pressure of Saturn the most and this huge urge
to restructure or do things differently in regards to the
topics of that planet or angle in addition to the
(10:49):
topics of the house that Saturn is transitting. So like,
even if you don't have Ares or other cardinal sign
planets in your chart, you're still getting the effects of
Saturn going through a house. So everyone's feeling Saturn just
cardinal sign placements a bit more intensely. And to give
an example, like let's say Saturn is squaring your moon
during this transit. Like you have a cancer moon and
(11:11):
Saturn and Ares is squaring that moon. That may mean
that over the course of the next several years, especially
when Saturn gets into exact aspect with that moon, you're
putting a lot of hard effort into topics related to
your home and family and maybe feeling stress there. Or
you could also be building this better inner foundation for
(11:32):
yourself and better understanding why you have certain patterns from childhood,
certain emotions, what can you work on or better understand
about yourself that have to do with these like innermost feelings.
Whereas let's say you have an Aris mid heaven and
Saturn's coming up on that mid heaven angle in your chart,
that would urge you to restructure how you're going about
(11:55):
your career and maybe having you step into this role
where you have a lot more response abilities, but you
could also feel like a lot of stress to do
something different at work as well. And for people a
bit more advanced, you can even take this exercise one
step further and if you see that Saturn is aspecting
a certain planet in your chart, you can look at
what other houses in your chart does that planet rule.
(12:17):
So let's say you have Venus and Ares, and Saturn
is coming up on that Venus and Ares in your chart,
and Ares happens to be your ninth house, you could
also look at what other houses in your chart does
Venus rule, Taurus and Libra. So I'm talking about Leo
rising chart here, So you could also incorporate these themes
of the third and tenth house, and those house themes
(12:40):
may also be felt a bit more intensely when Saturn
exactly crosses over your natal venus and ares. So there's
a lot of different moving parts with these Saturn transits,
and you can always add layer upon layer to your
interpretation of them. But for people who have a more
basic understanding of astrology, don't worry. I'm gonna call out
(13:00):
what rising signs need to listen to what sections so
that you can understand the themes that you can expect
with Saturn now moving into the Aris worldhouse of your chart.
But it is cool to see how, like as Saturn
wraps up this transit of Pisces, how the work you've
been doing in one house is now setting the stage
(13:21):
for the house that follows it. So like to give
an example that comes to mind, Saturn transitting through the
fifth house. Let's say you're wrapping that one up, and
maybe you got pregnant and had a baby under this transit.
That's a very fifth house, like a big fifth house theme,
and the life changes that have gone on there are
(13:42):
now setting the stage for Saturn moving into your sixth
house where maybe because you had a child, now your
relationship with work and your routine is shifting. Maybe you
want a job that has more flexibility or a better
work life balance so you can spend more time with
your kids. I guess another way that transit could go
is that maybe during Saturn in the fifth house, you
(14:03):
really developed your creative voice and you're more confident in
your artistic skills or your own point of view, and
now with Saturn moving into your six that you're ready
to find a career that allows for that creativity to
come through a bit more and allows you to be
more of yourself in your work. So there's several different
ways this can play out, but it's cool to see
(14:26):
how you needed to do the work in one house
in order to pave the way for the work that
comes next in the next houseover. So with all of
that being said, let's now get into the Saturn transit
stories that you guys wrote in Thank You, Thank you
so much. These were amazing to read and I just
love how these Saturn transits have played out in very
(14:48):
literal ways in people's lives, and I can't wait to
share them with you. So let's get into it. Okay,
So let's kick things off by talking about Saturn transiting
through the first house of your chart. So Pisces rising,
this is something you've been experiencing since March of twenty
twenty three, when Saturn first moved into your first house.
You're wrapping up this cycle throughout the end of twenty
(15:09):
twenty five, early twenty twenty six and now aries risings.
This is what you'll want to pay attention to for
what is coming up for you. So with Saturn transits
through the first house, general themes you can think about
are this restructuring of identity and who you want to
be moving forward. So it might be that this is
(15:29):
a two year long process of you breaking free from
the ways in which you've held yourself back throughout your life,
and maybe you're stepping into this bigger self confidence and
wanting to show up in the world in a different
way and maybe pursuing different goals and interest you never
knew you had, really shifting the attention back to you,
like what makes you happy, what goals are important to you,
(15:52):
and not living life so much according to what you
think other people's expectations might be of you. This transit
is not without its difficulties, though, and sometimes there can
be this heaviness where you are taking on a lot
of responsibilities in various areas of your life. I find
with Saturn through the first it could be that bigger
(16:14):
responsibilities are coming through your career, your home and family life,
maybe having kids for the first time and adapting to
that new role, or dealing with maybe the stress of
a relationship and how you are in relation to that
other person and like what do you want out of
that relationship. Those types of themes might come up. So
it actually is important with this one to pay attention
(16:36):
to what are simultaneous transits taking place and how is
that also influencing this Saturn moving through your first house.
But in general, it is this restructuring of self and
really learning how to prioritize you. And it can also
be a time where you want to change up your
personal style or if you have a public facing brand
(17:00):
all or big on social media, maybe you're figuring out
how you want to restrategize your content or you're branding
and how you want to show up publicly with other people.
Another thing I would say with this transit is because
the first house is your literal body, Saturn moving through
the first can sometimes bring up health issues or it
(17:21):
has you noticing how you are getting older and how
you need to take better care of yourself, So sometimes
there can be this slowing down in order to prioritize
your health and learning to be more nurturing and compassionate
towards yourself. And with Saturn moving through your first for
this two and a half year long period, you'll really
want to take note of when it comes into an
exact aspect, like the exact conjunction with your ascendant angle
(17:46):
in your first house. So when it reaches that degree
of your ascendant, that's when you're going to feel all
of these themes the most intensely, and that might be
the heaviest, most stressful period out of that Saturn transit. Okay,
so let's get into some stories. I very much need
to read off of my laptop for this because these
are really detailed stories we're about to get into. Okay,
(18:07):
So starting with story number one, this person says they
are a Piss's rising and a Pisce's moon and it
was their Saturn return in the first house as well,
so not only just a Saturn transit through the first house,
but it brought in the Saturn to the moon and
the Saturn return. So they say, let's start with the
identity crisis. If you had asked me to introduce myself
(18:28):
back before my Saturn return, my words would have been
my name is blank, I live in London and work
for Oxfam, and none of these things about myself are
true now even my name is about to change as
I am engaged and about to be married. Saturn in
my first house started with a change of career. Work
used to be a big part of my personality and
(18:50):
I was absolutely passionate about it. Going to work for
another company made me go through an identity crisis where
I had to reevaluate my values and the space that
work took up in my life. I also realized at
the same time that I am what could be called
quote unquote woke, and that my close family and a
lot of people don't align with these same values, and
(19:10):
I had a really hard time accepting that in dealing
with it. Shortly after that, I moved from London, where
I lived for about ten years, to Brighton in the UK,
So that brings in that relevance of Saturn with the
moon as well that topic of moving and home life,
and that in and itself was a big part of
my personality gone. This whole process had me question my
(19:32):
identity my values, my relationship to work, and what I
truly wanted in my life. It also led me to therapy,
and I feel now more aligned with myself than ever before.
My life changed, and I am now more focused on
my relationship with my future husband and starting a family,
and my work is now the second priority rather than
my absolute priority. I have learned that my values are
(19:55):
what drive me in life, and also how to be
okay with the fact that my family doesn't share all
of them them. I have also learned that it is
okay to distance myself from some members of my family,
especially if I'm profoundly not okay with their values. I
am now happy to be living in Sussex and have
just bought a house there with my future hubby. I
am still working on it all but a I have
(20:17):
still about eight months to wrap up this chapter, with
Saturn still moving back into Pisces and ending that transit,
and b I'm now feeling more myself than I've ever
been before. I've learned to accept me for me and
even my flaws, and I've learned to be proud of
my identity, that my personality is not just tied to work,
but that I am complex and interesting just by being myself.
(20:40):
It was a hard two and a half years. I
went through a burnout because of it all. So, as
I said in the beginning, it was a bumpy ride.
But I feel so much stronger now and I'm really
grateful for this transit. I love that story so much
because it really weaves in how they had this total
shift in how they thought about themselves and what was
important to them, and realizing that career was not the
(21:02):
end all be all, it didn't define who they are,
and finding these interests in the sense of identity outside
of war can. It also woven that theme of committing
to a relationship, because with Saturn transiting through the first
relationships often are a bigger deal because the first house
is opposite to the seventh house in the chart. So
(21:23):
that theme of like figuring out how you can be
a better partner, if you want to commit to someone,
or if a relationship may be better off, like partying
ways with that person, that's a that's a big thing
that comes up with Saturn in the first house two. Okay,
let's move on to story two. They say, as a
Pisz's rising and with Saturn transiting, my first house I
(21:46):
can only say major identity change. It's been the hardest
but most soul enriching and freeing two years of my life.
Apologies for the lengthy timeline, but I'll highlight some key themes. Okay,
so I actually condensed this one and we're just going
over the key theme so I can fit in more stories.
But basically, this is what happened with them. They got
(22:08):
engaged and then broke up with their now ex fiance
of eight and a half years. So again, just what
I was talking about about, how they like, do I
want to commit to a relationship? Do I not? That's
a huge saturn In the first house, it felt like
I was breaking societal norms and all of my family's
expectations and visions I had for myself. She also says,
(22:29):
I started going to the gym religiously and it's been
the constant in my life for the past two years.
So starting taking better care of her body, met someone
new and got cheated on again the relationship theme, got
back together with this person, and to this day, I'm
still learning how to love and trust. But I've experienced
love and learning to love like never before. For the
(22:52):
first time in my life. I moved out and lived
by myself at the age of thirty, so taking on
bigger responsibilities in that way. She also says I've done
lots of therapy, self discovery and learning, which includes astrology,
and I started my passion project. I started live streaming
my video game content on a whim after feeling lonely
(23:14):
in my relationship and sobriety. Alcohol has been a repeating
pattern in amplifying arguments in my relationship and a catalyst
in making poor decisions on him on his end. We
broke up for a week over alcohol, but got back
together and had both committed to sobriety. So again that
weaves in that theme of like really taking yourself on
(23:35):
and doing things that are good for both your health
and also that may help to redefine the way you
think about yourself and how you want to show up
and commit to all different areas of your life. And
they wrap up by saying, now, as Saturn moves into
aries my second house, I randomly got noticed I'll be
placed on a new team at work, which took me
(23:55):
by surprise. But I'm also glad to be free from
three and a half years of my toxic team culture.
So she's already seen this setup for Saturn, now moving
into a more career focused part of the chart. Okay,
we got two more stories for Saturn in the first
house because I wanted to do this Transit justice story
number three. This person says, I'm a Pisce's rising and
(24:16):
let me tell you it has been rough. In the
time I've been able to track this, I've been through
a lot of personal development. It feels like my entire
world has been flipped on its axis and the best
way possible. My self image and self worth have grown significantly,
as well as my knowledge of an ability to set
boundaries for myself through moving many times, losing some of
(24:37):
the closest and most significant relationships in my life, and
learning to be alone with my thoughts. I'm completely different
than I was at the start of Saturn's journey and Pisces.
During this time, I've worked on rewiring my limiting beliefs
with the help of my therapist and lots of journals.
It feels as though the connection to my authentic self
has only grown stronger, and I'm able to stand up
for myself without feeling like a horrible human being. Okay,
(25:00):
final Saturn, through the first house story. Saturn has been
transiting my first house since twenty twenty three, and I've
undergone a big transformation during that time. In twenty twenty three,
I met my partner after many years of being single.
In twenty twenty four, so the second year of Saturn
in the first house, I quit my comfortable job that
I'd had for nine years, left my flat that i'd
(25:22):
lived in for the same period, and moved to Australia
to live with him. I've undergone an identity shift both
internally and externally in many areas and all I wouldn't
have imagined I would go through. I've gone from being
the perpetual single person to now living with a serious partner.
I've also gone from not caring about career progression to
having it be a bigger focus. I even felt this
(25:44):
intense need to change my personal style in how I
present myself through clothes and in work interactions when going
through the period of cleaning out my wardrobe and changing
jobs when moving. So I guess that bigger process of
doing those bigger life shakeups of changing career and moving
got her to think more about, like, how does she
actually literally appear to people? How does she dress and
(26:07):
present herself in that way? Clothes that just didn't feel
like me anymore, from color to style, needed to change
them out out of a literal need. Couldn't fit them
in my suitcase. But it was also part of this
bigger identity shift. I'm intensely focused on doing presentation training
and have got a mentor in my industry. I can't explain,
(26:29):
but I just feel different, and I guess I've done
a lot of big life shifts and in now living
a very different life with different routines in my new city.
I can already feel the need to be thinking ahead
to Saturn in my second House, of needing to put
up better structures around saving and money. So that's a
great segue into Saturn transits of the second House. But
final notes I wanted to say on that one. It's
(26:51):
interesting how one life circumstance that may come up during
this Saturn transit time has this butterfly of effect of
you wanting to shake up all these different areas of
your life too. So in the case like her meeting
a partner and deciding to move because of this triggered
that whole identity change, and how she wanted to dress
(27:13):
and present herself at work. So it's cool how they're
all interconnected in that way. Okay, let's move on to
Saturn transiting the second house. So Aquarius risings, you're wrapping
up this cycle since March of twenty twenty three, and
that will wrap up in early twenty twenty six fully,
and then Pisces risings you're coming into this for the
(27:37):
next two and a half to three years. So when
Saturn transits the second house of your chart, there's this
increased stress that comes up and maybe greater responsibilities that
have to do with work and money. So maybe you
start to feel kind of weighed down in your role
at work, like you want to search for an opportunity
that pays you more or where you feel more appreciated
(27:58):
or respected at your at what you do. This is
also a longer transit of figuring out where do your
actual skills in your career lie and how can you
use those more and be more confident in what you
bring to the table in your role at work. So
kind of a period of reevaluating what do I have
to offer at work? How can I lean into that
more or possibly search for opportunities where I'm allowed to
(28:22):
use my skills more effectively. This is also a big
transit for setting off and working for yourself and maybe
establishing your own business, or if you're already self employed,
maybe this is a time of restructuring how you manage
your business and where you allot your finances into your work.
This can also be a transit where you're very much
(28:43):
taking stock of money and your spending habits and maybe
changing your mindset when it comes to your first when
it comes to your personal finances. So I would say
one way this might play out is you want to
save more money or just be smarter about your purchases,
and you're just more aware of what is worth, like
what do I value spending my money on in the
long term and what purchases actually serve me. So maybe
(29:06):
being a bit more conservative there, sometimes out of necessity,
like maybe it's harder to make more money so you
need to save more, or it could just be I
want to save for my future and be more wise
about doing so. Going back to the theme of running
your own business, sometimes it's you're pouring your money back
into establishing that business of your own, so money is
(29:28):
going into work related purchases. I guess, on a more
positive note, sometimes the Saturn in the second house can
lead to making more money from your job, even if
that's not the case at first. Throughout that two to
three year transit, you're figuring out how you can boost
your income, and a lot of what is motivating you
in your career at this time is financial stability and
(29:50):
making more for yourself. Okay, let's get into some Saturn
second house stories. So this person says, I just wanted
to share my experience of Saturn transitting my second house
in Pisces in the spring of twenty twenty three. At
the start of this transit, I announced to my boss
and my family and friends that I would be leaving
my social work job to pursue my own business as
(30:11):
an astrologer. I officially launched the business in September of
twenty twenty three, though it didn't gain much traction for
almost a year after that. I've been working full time
in the coffee industry while running my business, and honestly,
it's been one of the most stressful financial periods of
my entire life. I also ended up having to leave
my first coffee job, which I had worked up to
(30:31):
a manager position in because there was a very toxic
environment there and they passed me over for a promotion
in a very underhanded way. After that, I realized that
I couldn't continue working for people I didn't trust or
respect and who I didn't feel had my best interests
at heart. So I changed to another coffee shop, and
now this spring, I've been working on ways to expand
(30:52):
my income streams for my business. I've added Tarot readings
and am starting a Tarot YouTube channel, feeling like this
will be connected to myself and return in the third House,
which is coming up for them. I guess the biggest
way I think I've taken the biggest thing I think
I've taken from the last few years is that I
have finally figured out how to budget wisely and become
financially independent. I'm definitely not where I would like to
(31:14):
be financially, but I'm hoping that Saturn moving out of
the second house will help with that. Also, I definitely
had to face some big challenges in my day job
with bosses and co workers who had negative intentions towards
me and were actively making my life more difficult, forcing
me to leave certain situations and speak up about what
I deserve in the workplace. That's a really good point
she brings up. It's kind of knowing you're worth at work,
(31:36):
and if you're not getting that, it may be time
to make a change and commit to something a different
path in your career. I think it's also worth noting
that the only placement I have in the second house
is the South node. I feel like that has always
made this area a bit of a challenge for me,
and I have always felt that money, budgeting, and even
personal responsibility were things that felt very elusive to me,
(31:57):
like other people seem to be easily able to figure
out something that I couldn't. So that's also another good
point she brings up, is that it definitely does depend
on like what natal placements do you have in that
house if you do have any that Saturn's transitting, and
maybe how are the themes of those planets in the
case the note is not a planet, it's like a
mathematical point, But how is the theme of the South
(32:19):
note in her case being brought up strongly? Whereas like
someone maybe with Jupiter well placed like Jupiter and Sagittarius
in the second house, maybe the financial and work situation
wouldn't have been so much of an uphill battle and
may have flowed more easily. So it's always important to
look at what is the vibe of that house in
(32:40):
general to get a bigger picture of what that Saturn
transit will hold for you. Okay, let's move on to
story number two for Saturn in the second house. So
to back it up a bit, this person said that
while Saturn was an Aquarius in twenty twenty one, in
her Saturn return in the first house, she started her
(33:02):
own aromatherapy business and that was a whole new responsibility.
So then that was kind of the setup for then
Saturn moving into the second house when it entered Pisces.
So she says, in twenty twenty three, as Saturn innered Pisces,
I felt a growing internal pressure. By summer, a long
standing dilemma finally reached a peak whether or not to
(33:22):
move from Hong Kong to the UK, where my family
had already settled. I eventually said yes. It felt like
a leap into the unknown. Since moving, I've been living
with my parents again. That alone has brought up old,
deep seated emotions and unresolved family patterns. Career wise, I
have ideas and inspiration, but things haven't worked out as
I imagined. There's also a strong desire to move out
(33:43):
and be on my own again, but practically I haven't
been able to. I'm learning to accept what life is
offering me right now, but it's been emotionally overwhelming. While
I'm grateful for the love and support I ever see from
my family, I've come to realize how important it is
for me to build a sense of grounded security on
my own, especially financially. I've also recognized how much I
value the space and distance we had when I was
(34:06):
living independently. I love them deeply, but the distance allowed
me to grow. I recently turned thirty two, and I've
been thinking about moving back to Hong Kong, a place
where I feel a strong sense of belonging and connection
with friends and clients. At the same time, I'm aware
of the declining political freedom there, so choosing to return
and giving up the UK visa, she'd only be able
(34:28):
to see her family once every one to three years,
so that presents this whole other dilemma stolen the process
of figuring out it out, So I feel like this
one it wasn't so heavy on the work and money,
although it was like kind of wanting to get these
better financial foundations in place. But I guess it also
(34:50):
brought in this theme of like what does she value
in general? So that's this whole other interpretation we can
bring into with a second house transit, like Saturn is
what do you value in gen rollin For her it
was I think coming to terms with Oh, I like
my freedom and my independence and I can grow separately
from my family. Still figuring it out. Maybe this person
(35:11):
will receive greater clarity once Saturn finally wraps up that
transit of the second house in February of next year. Okay,
final second House story. A year and a half before
my Saturn return officially arrived, I paid off the last
of my bad debt. It not only felt like an achievement,
(35:31):
but also an offering a gift to my future self
as I stepped into the quiet complexity of my late twenties.
When my Saturn return arrived in twenty twenty three, almost
immediately something shifted. The fire in me. Once urgent, reactive,
burning for causes and answered softened. I began to slow down, observe, trust,
my intuition more than I ever had before. Where I
(35:53):
once sought momentum, I started seeking clarity. Money became a mirror.
I took the helm of our household finances for both
myself and my partner, learning how to invest, how to
save with intention, how to spend with soul. We entered
our most frugal era, not from scarcity, but from vision.
Every dollar had a destination, every choice had to wait,
(36:13):
and some somewhere in that restraint I found an unexpected
kind of freedom. We bought our first home. During this transit,
I stepped into financial roles I didn't expect to love,
and with them earned a career promotion that sealed a
new kind of stability. Saturn does a rush, it teaches,
and through the slow, serious, sacred turning, I learned to
trust myself more deeply than ever before, with money, with time,
(36:36):
and with the kind of future I'm building. This person
needs to be a writer. That was like straight up poetry.
But I kind of like that how this saving and
being frugal wasn't because it was forced upon them as
a family, but because they saw it as a way
to have greater financial freedom in the future. So that
(36:57):
was really interesting. Like kind of thinking more streetrategically, long
term about how every purchase has this consequence further down
the road. This is this whole mindset towards spending and
saving and career. I mean, so Saturn coded here. I
love that one. Moving on to Saturn transiting the third House.
(37:20):
So Capricorn risings, you're coming out of this since March
of twenty twenty three. This is a cycle you're wrapping up,
and Aquarius risings you're moving into this phase for the
next two to three years while Saturn's in your third house.
So in general, Saturn transiting through the third house springs
up this theme of communication very prominently. So that can
(37:44):
take a lot of different forms. Maybe it's you want
to put more effort into how you write and how
you speak, and I definitely think of this transit as
a crash course in becoming a more effective public speaker.
It could also be that you're working past fears related
to showing your writing off or putting your opinion into
(38:08):
how you speak and like voice your ideas. You're really
learning how to find confidence in what you have to
say or write about. It could also be that during
this longer transit, you want to take a series of
short courses or do a lot of research and learning
on your own time. This may be a period where
you get back into the regular habit of reading a lot,
(38:29):
or you want to pick up a new skill, like,
for instance, when my husband had Saddurn transit through his
third house back in twenty twenty two, he taught himself
how to cook. So it's like very practical information that
you can use in your everyday life, whether that's like
learning how to garden or cook or apply makeup better.
(38:51):
Those would definitely be these smaller examples, or it could
be something like really wanting to refine your craft when
it comes to writing or podcasting and putting a lot
of effort into these quick ways that you get your
ideas across to other people. So definitely online content, easily
digestible information, wanting to create more of that on your
(39:11):
own time. Short term travel is another big third house theme,
So with Saturn here, you could be traveling more frequently,
especially to places that are closer by, or like shorter
weekend trips or just like a week here and there.
It's not really like immersing yourself in another culture, but
really craving variety and wanting to change up your routine
(39:32):
by going to see these new places and having these
different experiences. In addition, you may want to explore your
city a lot more and you could end up feeling
more connected to your neighbors or also, siblings is a
big third house thing, so sometimes there can be this
strain on sibling relationships or you're needing to redefine the
relationship you have with a brother or a sister if
(39:56):
you have them, And again going back to this theme
of communication overall, just really working on how you approach
difficult conversations with people, how you get your ideas across,
and how you can show up more effectively in these
relationships and really state your point of view and not
fear what other people may think about that. Okay, so
we've got a couple of stories for third house Saturn transit.
(40:19):
Story number one Capricorn rising. They say Saturn and Pisces
was a relatively smooth transit for me, likely because I
don't have any personal planets in mutable signs, so there
were no major challenging aspects to my chart. And that
brings up a good point again, if you have planets
in the same modality that Saturn is in. You're going
to feel the heat more like more of the pressure
(40:40):
of Saturn when it's transiting through a certain sign. But anyways,
they say this transit brought two main themes into focus,
strengthening boundaries and unlocking creative expression through writing. I've also
I've always struggled with boundaries, but Saturn and Pisces pushed
me to take them more seriously, especially emotional and verbal ones.
BE came more comfortable expressing my needs directly rather than
(41:04):
letting resentment build. I ended a few friendships during this time,
but doing so felt necessary and empowering. Unexpectedly, I also
felt called to write. I randomly got super into writing
poetry and book ideas started to come to me. I
have never been a writer, so this felt super random,
but the ideas were literally flowing out of me. I
(41:24):
also joined an online community called Critique Circle, where you
submit chapters of your novels to other writers and you
critique one another. It has been such a great community,
and I've learned so much about strengthening my craft writings.
Writing has become a huge part of my life, and
it has really been emotionally cathartic for me to express
myself in this new way. So yeah, that brings in
(41:46):
so many good themes of scaling back, maybe on social
life connections, figuring out what types of relationships and acquaintances
do I want to put my energy into, but also
joining new communities, and this one was I think it was, yeah,
an online community of writers to help with this new craft.
So third house really is like refining your craft, your
(42:08):
skills in some sort of area. Definitely a lot of
the time tighten with communication like writing, for instance, and
then also learning how to communicate and connect with people
more effectively. So love this story has a lot of
third House related themes in it. Okay, so this one
(42:28):
is another story of Saturn transiting the third house, but
they're going through a second Saturn return at this time.
So Natal saturns and Pisces their third house and they're
getting the second Saturn return, which is interesting because I
hear a lot about first Saturn returns. I love hearing
about second ones and how life changes at those. So
they say, I'm a Capricorn ascendant and was born with
(42:50):
Saturn at thirteen degrees of Pisces when Saturn went into Pisces. Sadly,
my father grew very sick and died in February of
twenty twenty three, So right before this trend, as it
started at eighty nine years old, all of my college
aged children graduated and then moved out of my home
in twenty twenty four, so as a divorce mom, I
moved into an apartment alone with my dog, and six
(43:11):
months ago my mother moved in with my sister an
hour away. Our family lived in the same town on
Long Island, New York for fifty years, and now my
whole entire family moved away. So I think that has
more to do with the eclipses in the fourth and
tenth houses the changes in the family, rather than Saturn.
But this is what she says about Saturn. When transit
(43:33):
Saturn hit my exact natal Saturn, I finally got an
agent for a novel I'd been writing for more than
a decade. We are currently shopping it around for a
traditional publishing imprint. At my first Saturn return at age thirty,
I had gotten married and began having children setting up
a household. So I guess that, in turn, was preparing
her for the household and the home related duties that
(43:55):
came with Saturn moving into the fourth right after. But
she said, my second Saturn in return became a dream
fulfilled I got an agent from my novel that I'd
been working on for more than a decade. So that
kind of just shows that blend of the Saturn return
and getting that recognition or that the hard work setting
the stage for the next several years. And in this
(44:17):
case she's got that agent and now the development of
the novel and hopefully that publishing venture will come to
light in the years after Saturn has left the third house. Again,
another example where writing is just a huge focus with
this transit and finding greater confidence there. Okay, so let's
get into Saturn transiting the fourth house now. So this
(44:40):
is what Sagittarius risings are wrapping up that's been going
on since early twenty twenty three, and this is now
what Cappercorn risings will be focused on for the next
two to three years. So Saturn in the fourth House
has a lot to do with I would say it
brings up a lot of stress and increased responsibilities regarding
(45:00):
home and family. So a lot of the time this
can look like having to step in and take care
of a family member or put more effort into maintaining
family relationships. Sometimes those can feel more stressful, like you're
not getting along with a parent or a sibling, or
there's just kind of stuff maybe you need to work
(45:21):
through reguarding family dynamics. It can also be that you're
taking the time to understand your childhood and your past
and how that might still affect you today, and maybe
that in turn helps you to rework some of these
family relationships or see them in a new light. I
would also say with Saturn and the fourth this topic
(45:41):
of moving or putting a lot of energy towards home decoration,
home renovation, just all of these responsibilities in the living
space and the home life become a bigger deal. So
maybe you might be buying a home during this transit,
or you need to make a big repair, or you
want to undergo this more major move, like maybe it's
(46:03):
to a different city, or you're living alone for the
first time and you have to take on all the
home related responsibilities yourself, Like there's no one there to
pay your bills or fix your light bulbs when they
go out. It's more on you. So in that way,
it's like forcing you to grow up in this area
related to home and family. I would also say that
Saturn transiting the fourth requires you to develop this strong
(46:26):
emotional foundation for yourself, like maybe you're learning how to
nurture yourself in a way that you didn't necessarily receive
from your parents growing up, or just stuff maybe you
felt you lacked during childhood and really revisiting that and
learning how to give that nurturing and compassion back to
(46:46):
yourself and feeling more grounded in your emotions. It's also
important to check when Saturn reaches the exact degree of
your icy angle and with whole sign houses, sometimes that
could your icy could be in your third house or
your fifth house, and in that case it would blend
these fourth house topics that were we've just gone over
(47:06):
with also the third house or the fifth house transit
of a planet like Saturn. So noting when it reaches
that exact degree of the icy when Saturn does, and
how you're going to feel these fourth house topics way
more intensely, and maybe that's when the most action or
the more most stress and responsibility is coming through is
during that peak moment of time. And similar to how
(47:29):
a Saturn first house transit will bring up seventh house
themes because it's opposite to the descendant. When Saturn hits
the icy angle, it's opposite to the mid heavens. So
you'll get these topics related to maybe stress or greater
responsibility come through in career as well. So that's also
something to think about, is how is work being restructured
(47:51):
maybe with Saturn going through this part of your chart,
even though it's not technically Saturn in a career focused house. Okay,
so story number one is a said to Terrrius Rising,
I had many unresolved issues with my father and sisters
in the past two years, triggered a lot of anxiety
and fights with them. Now I'm at a point where
I'm finally having a somewhat good relationship after so many hardships.
(48:12):
This journey also started when my grandmother died in October
twenty twenty three. She brings up a good point this
is Saturn transiting the fourth can sometimes bring about family
loss and so having the death of a family member,
but also the birth of a family member just like these,
greater more significant changes happening in the family are likely
(48:32):
to occur under this transit. She also says, I met
my fiance during this time, and says we're in the
midst of buying a new flat where we'll be moving
to after the wedding. I was brutally let go of
my permanent job in December twenty twenty three and lost
all confidence in myself during that time. Now reflecting back,
(48:53):
it was the best thing that ever happened to me,
because I've found a better job with a better team
three months after that, so in early twenty twenty four,
but I'm still going through turbulence in this area of
my life because I might lose this new job due
to an internal restructuring. I'm confident, however, that it'll only
be for the best. So that also brings in that
opposition to the tenth House and how career related themes
(49:14):
are likely to come up with the fourth house. Saturn
transit too, And finally they say, I found out that
I have endometriosis and fibroids, which will make it difficult
for me to get pregnant. So I guess I'm diving
deeper into this chapter when Saturn moves to my fifth house,
so hopefully she has success there and it's not too difficult.
(49:35):
But yeah, that's that kind of shows how this stage
is already being set for Saturn entering that fifth house,
and more energy put towards fifth House topics like pregnancy
and children for instance. Okay, let's move on to story
number two for Saturn moving through the fourth house. So
this person says in March of twenty twenty three, I
(49:57):
was renting in an apartment in Asheville, North Carolina that
I could earlier Ford, and I was struggling. I had
just moved to a new city for this job I
was so passionate about. I was living paycheck to paycheck,
so I really wasn't able to nest and make the
place feel like home too much because of a limited budget.
In December of twenty twenty three, I decided to move
in with a friend who owned a house a little
(50:17):
further out of town that felt more like home and comfort,
which I was so desperately seeking. It wasn't meant to
be anything long term due to the long commute time,
but the house was gorgeous and really what I needed.
I had always lived in apartments for my adult life,
so I developed this love of a home with a yard.
We built a garden and the roommates I would have
(50:37):
family dinners with it felt so right. In the summer
of twenty twenty four, things started to shift. One of
my roommates was spiraling into substance abuse and the house
became very toxic. I started to silently make plans to
move out and find a new space. I found a
new roommate and made a plan to leave in September,
but in August everything came to a head. This is
(50:58):
still twenty twenty four. My roommate, in a drunken rage,
flipped out into a huge explosion, and I packed up
my things and my cats that day and left immediately.
I moved the majority of my things into a storage
unit and stayed on a friend's couch until I was
able to move into my new place with a new
roommate on September first, again twenty twenty four. Also during
this time, I just met my now long term partner
(51:18):
shout out to Jupiter in my seventh house, so everything
in my life was completely changing. It was honestly quite
funny when we started dating, as we found out that
we were about to live less than one mile away
from each other. Once I moved into my new space,
September rolls around. I move into my new space and
start to balance myself again. My roommate, unbeknownst to me,
was a bit of a messy hoarder, so I almost
(51:40):
immediately started to feel the discomfort in our home. I
live in Ashville, North Carolina, and on September twenty seventh,
our city was devastated by Hurricane Helene. It was the
worst thing I think I've ever experienced, from the physical
damage to the city to the psychological torment that would follow.
In October twenty twenty four, my roommate at the time
physically assault to me. It's a long and complicated story
(52:02):
that is still honestly pretty traumatizing. I packed my things
in my cats and went to my very new boyfriend's house,
where I stayed for two weeks before moving into another
new place again. I moved into a new apartment with
another new roommate, and things have settled since then. Thank God,
Oh my God, my Lisa. This place now's in October,
and my partner and I are considering moving in together.
(52:23):
This Saturn transit flipped my world upside down, but coming
out of it, my expectations and understanding of what I
need to feel comfortable in my home life has been
made abundantly clear. Okay, Wow, that was challenging for this person.
I'm glad they've come out of this stronger. But yeah,
roommate trouble is an interesting one to add into Saturn
(52:46):
through the Fourth House, even like Saturn aspecting your fourth
house ruler. I remember back in twenty eighteen when I
had transit Saturn ass opposing the ruling planet my fourth house, Mars.
That whole time when Saturn was back and forth across
that opposition with my Mars, I had a horrible roommate
(53:07):
situation going on. Just such a tense environment to live in.
So that is something very real with Saturn. Two planets
connected to the fourth House, Saturn through the fourth House
in general, and I like how there was that happier
side of the transit though, of feeling more settled and
comforted in a home space, even though there were these
(53:28):
numerous challenges that came up throughout that transit. Okay, let's
now move on to Saturn transiting the fifth House. So
general themes to keep in mind with this transit is
the topic of personal creativity. In addition to Saturn transiting
the first House. I think of Saturn transiting the fifth
as another big one where you're building a lot more
(53:50):
confidence in who you are and what sets you apart.
So if you've been afraid of showing off ways in
what you're creative, or fearing criticism from people because of
your creative skills or your unique point of view, this
transit really has you facing those feares and learning how
to express yourself in new ways, and maybe also being
(54:11):
more productive with your creativity, like wanting to turn your
artistic skills or something else creative that you're doing into
possibly a business, or incorporating it into your work somehow,
or just spending a lot of time and effort building
the side like passion project of your own. I would
say it really gets you to own in on like
what is your unique voice and point of view. Alongside that,
(54:37):
I would say Saturn through the Fifth House definitely has
you reconsidering how you date and things like your sexuality
or how you go about romantic relationships. As you reevaluating
those things and maybe you need maybe you realize you
need to raise your dating standards and you want a
different type of partner, or you need to focus more
(54:58):
on your desires when it comes to sex and intimacy.
I very much think of that as more of a
Fifth House topic, honestly than Eighth House. Also, on a
similar note, the Fifth House has to do with fertility, pregnancy, children,
So there's a lot of different ways this can go.
One is that you might take steps to address your fertility,
like freezing your eggs or just going to a doctor's
(55:18):
appointment and figuring out, like, where am I do I
even want to have kids? How can I prepare for
that type of thing in the future if you do
want children, Or it could be a time where you're
literally getting pregnant and preparing to become a parent and
bring a baby into this world. If you already do
have kids, this can be a period where you need
(55:38):
to put more effort into the relationship with them. Or
maybe the relationship with your kids feels a bit strained,
or they themselves could be going through a tougher phase
of their own lives and maybe you need to be
there to support them, or the dynamic and your relationship
is shifting somehow. But either way, it's just like more
effort put into those types of relationships. What else would
(56:00):
I say for Fifth House? It's like creativity, it's dating,
and love life. I guess in existing relationships it can
be a period of further committing to a partner too,
So in addition to having strain on dating or relationships
and realizing you want something different, you could end up
further committing to someone and maybe a happy event takes
(56:22):
place in a relationship, like getting engaged or married. Something
major like that could happen under a fifth house Saturn transit.
So with that being said, let's get into some Saturn
fifth house stories. This is what Scorpio risings are wrapping
up and coming out of since March of twenty twenty three,
and this is what Sagittarius risings are now entering into
(56:42):
for the next two to three years. Okay, story number one.
As a Scorpio rising, I had Saturn transiting my fifth
house for the past two years and it's been a
crazy ride. I broke up with my ex in August
of twenty twenty two, so right before this transit started,
and at the beginning of twenty three, I felt ready
to start dating again. Until May. I went on several
(57:05):
online dates and what can I say, it was awful.
I kept telling myself that I had to be open
minded and tolerant because nobody is perfect, and of course
that's true, but this mindset also led me to lower
my dating standards so much that I remained open to
people who clearly didn't treat me well and drained a
lot of my energy. Around the lunar eclipse in Scorpio,
my first house, I decided I'd had enough so kind
(57:27):
of blending in another transit taking place at the same time,
I deleted all of the dating apps and chose not
to force things anymore, but instead to focus my energy
on myself. And that's what I did. After a colleague
told me how much she loved her singing lessons, I
started taking lessons myself. Then I saw a girl on
Instagram teaching herself how to play the bass, and I
(57:48):
felt a strong urge to try it too. I've always
loved music, but I had absolutely no background as a musician. Still,
creativity has always been an important part of my personality,
and I was searching for a medium to express myself,
so I thought why not. I bought a bass and
started practicing at home with the help of YouTube. In
August twenty twenty three, I uploaded a profile to an
(58:10):
app that connects musicians in your city more as a
test of courage, because I didn't expect anyone to be
interested in working with an absolute beginner with crappy demos. Surprisingly,
a guy messaged me saying that his band was looking
for a singer and a basis and asked if I'd
like to join a rehearsal. I said yes, but let
me tell you, I had never been so afraid in
my life. In the end, I met the three guys,
(58:32):
loved their music, and they liked my voice. They were
confident that my base skills would improve with practice. We
also really clicked and enjoyed spending time together. I'm still
part of the band and it's been a wild ride
so far. We've written several songs, played some gigs, started
an Instagram page, and planned to release music this year.
I love being part of it all, but it was
(58:53):
also very challenging for me. Many times I felt like
I wasn't good enough and even ridiculous for telling people
that I play in a band. As much as I
love that creative outlet, it was always connected to a
feeling of heaviness. At the same time, I knew it
was totally okay to do something just because it's fun.
It doesn't have to be perfect or require anyone's permission.
So that brings up a really good point. It's often like,
(59:14):
even if you aren't doing something productive with creativity, just
like really tapping into the spirit of your inner child
and focusing on where do I have fun, Where do
I find enjoyment outside of career and responsibilities, and giving
that more thought and attention. Looking back, I'm so proud
of myself for being that curious, brave and resilient. When
(59:35):
I'm on stage, I have to pinch myself because I
never thought I would be capable of performing in front
of a crowd and actually enjoying it. Back to the
topic of dating. After a one year dating break and
a crush on someone who was clearly flirting with me
but had a girlfriend, I promise myself to stop myself
sabotaging patterns of going for emotionally unavailable guys. I committed
(59:55):
to only dating someone who made me feel a certain way.
I created a list of what's important to me in
a reallyation ship and how it should make me feel.
I ended up meeting my now boyfriend in early twenty
twenty four. She says this Saturn transit truly taught me
so much about self worth, boundaries, and creative self expression. Now,
as Saturn enters my sixth house, I can already feel
(01:00:15):
a call to take better care of my health and
make changes in my work life. Love that. Love how
it was both creativity, knowing her worth and relationships, and
just also finding confidence in who she is as a person.
Story number two for Saturn transiting the fifth House. I'm
a Scorpio rising and Saturn in the fifth has been
difficult for me. Shortly after Saturn entered Pisces, my baby
(01:00:40):
has been learning how to be a little person, which
includes screaming and running into non kid friendly spaces at
top speed. So one obvious way that it caused restrictions
was having extra responsibility around children. At one point, my
wife was even running a daycare in our living room.
I'm also a writer and artist. I had to figure
out how to write without using pencils because the baby
(01:01:02):
is either taking pencils and writing over my stuff, or
typing because buttons are fun to press for them. So
the baby basically getting in the way of this person's
work and creative expression. I'm also a writer and artist.
Oh sorry, I already said that. I also encountered countless
hurdles with recording music. Anytime I told people a specific date,
(01:01:24):
someone would get sick or have car trouble or something,
and I would end up pushing it pretty close each time.
Now that it's letting up, I've learned a whole new
set of skills for recording and engineering myself, and even
how to do things on my phone that I was
previously paying hundreds of dollars to get done professionally. Not
to mention I find lots of pleasure in these services anyways. Also,
(01:01:46):
now that my little man is getting decent at communication,
he's pretty much my new best friend and has also
taken an interest in playing instruments. Oh also started a
new band right at the beginning of this transit, and
we're prepping to release our best way work yet. Okay.
Loved that story so much because it blended the topic
of personal creativity with the theme of literal children. Okay,
(01:02:09):
So moving on to our third story for Saturn through
the fifth house, this person says I taught myself sewing
in twenty twenty and fell in love with the hobby
very quickly. Slash produced quite a few simple projects when
first starting out. Since twenty twenty, I would say I've
been honing my craft in a much more serious and
steady way. In April May twenty twenty three, so just
(01:02:30):
a couple months after Saturn enter their fifth house, I
dedicated several weeks to learning a complex technique for drafting
trousers and made my first two piece suit. This required slow,
sustained and sometimes frustrating work, lots of trial and error,
and I was really proud of the result. I also
took a residential course to learn pattern drafting, drafted my
(01:02:52):
own coat pattern over several months, and generally moved into
a much longer term view of what I'm adding to
my wardrobe. I submitted a design to an indie sewing
designer magazine and it was selected for publication. I worked
with the team from the magazine over six months to
develop the design and it got published in February. February
(01:03:12):
twenty twenty five, I was then invited to speak at
a sewing festival in my city about releasing my first
sewing pattern. I can't believe what I've achieved over the
past couple of years, especially as it has felt like
nothing is happening most of the time a great Saturn
transit for me. So I like that one because it's
a bit more simple, and it just shows how creativity
(01:03:33):
might require more of this slow and sustained effort over time,
like they were just saying. And then to wrap up
part one of this episode, let's get into Saturn transitting
through the sixth house of the chart. So this is
what Libra risings are wrapping up over the last two
and a half years or so, and this is now
(01:03:53):
what Scorpio risings are about to enter into for the
next two to three years. General themes with Saturn and
the six house usually there's increased stress and like this
weight of responsibility with how the career and work situations
going and also how that person manages their time. So
(01:04:13):
it can be this moment of kind of feeling like
what you've been doing at work up until that point
may no longer be working for you, and you want
to make a pivot in your career and especially finding
work that feels a bit more meaningful to you, or
work that has this element of spirituality, health and wellness,
(01:04:34):
or just work that simply serves other people. So usually
there's like a stressor that's going on with work, whether
that's like relationships with co workers or just not liking
your work as much as you used to and feeling
kind of burned out or just stressed out at your job,
and that in turn urges you to look at different
avenues for career. Also, there's this theme of achieving a
(01:04:57):
better work life balance and notice where you can structure
your routine differently so that you aren't putting all of
your energy into work and burning yourself out and you
still have time for your personal life and taking care
of your body. Health is a huge Saturn through the
Six House theme, and it often has you taking your
(01:05:18):
physical health a lot more seriously and learning about different
health practices. I would also say committing and finding greater
structure with a regular exercise routine or eating healthy or
even like things like getting sober or cutting back on
negative eating or drinking habits that are like hindering you
(01:05:39):
in your everyday life. That is also something that can
happen with Saturn through the Sex And I would also
add developing more of a holistic view to your health,
like how does the way you take care of your
body influence your mental health and vice versa. Just understanding
the connection your mind, body, and spirit all have together.
(01:06:01):
And another component I would note what this transit could
be a focus on pets, So maybe adopting a pet
for the first time, or having to put more energy
and effort into things going on with your pet. So
that's also like a minor thing to keep in mind there. Okay,
so let's start off with story number one of Saturn
through the six House. This person says, as I reflect
(01:06:23):
on the shifts I've experienced since Saturn began transiting my
six House, it has been a period that has reshaped
my relationship to work, health, and daily life. I was
unexpectedly laid off in June twenty twenty three from a
Big four consulting firm at a time when I truly
felt optimistic about my future there. Just weeks earlier, I
had received strong feedback in my annual performance review and
(01:06:47):
felt confident that I was on the right path. After
the layoff, I jumped into job searching and actively interviewing,
but nothing was landing. It was frustrating and discouraging. That
pause forced me to take a hard look at my
trajectory and the lifestyle I had been chasing. I had
always imagined myself thriving in Big four consulting, drawn to
(01:07:07):
the prestige, fast paced, fast pace, and the access it offered.
Over time, it became clear that the dream I had
been holding on to no longer aligned with the life
I actually wanted. Love that sentence, because this transit is
a lot about like does work and the hours I'm
putting in at my job align with the schedule and
(01:07:28):
the lifestyle I actually want to lead. I want a
life where there's more room for hobbies, joy, family, and
social time, not just survival or status. This has led
me to take on more flexible gig work and areas
I specialize in, and even start babysitting a few times
a month, which has surprisingly brought me joy and balance. Slowly,
(01:07:49):
I've been able to land new projects, especially in the
last few weeks, but this time with more intentionality. I
even started considering starting my own business. This trend and
it also brought my health and habits into sharper focus.
I had gained eight years ago, but never truly addressed
it until I started feeling physically uncomfortable, low energy, and
out of sync. In response, I began making consistent, grounded changes.
(01:08:14):
Cooking healthier meals, working with a nutritionists, exercising regularly, journaling, meditating,
and learning to trust my intuition. I've also noticed I
no longer crave alcohol the way I used to. I
drink much less now and I don't miss it. Saturn
and the six hasn't been easy, but it's helped me
rebuild my relationship to work, structure, and wellness in a
(01:08:35):
more honest and sustainable way. I feel like I'm coming
back to myself, not just who I thought I should be.
Oh my God, love this story so much. The relationship
with work, prioritizing how she spends her time and really
focusing on health and taking that more seriously. It touches
upon a lot of great themes with this transit. Okay,
(01:08:57):
story number two and final story of the day. This
person says Saturn and was in my six house for
the last two years, and this has been so literal
for me when it comes to daily routine and health.
When Saturn entered Pisces in March twenty twenty three, that
was right as my maternity leave was ending for my
first child. The last two years have have demanded a
(01:09:18):
ton of restructuring in my daily routine, First, I had
to figure out how to adapt my schedule as my
identity shifted to working mom despite my husband and I
both working. We finagled our schedules to keep our son
home without childcare until he turned one, which was extremely demanding.
It ultimately revealed that we did, in fact need full
time childcare, and we have since gotten to a great
(01:09:41):
daycare routine and I now feel like the whole family
is thriving with that structure. In early twenty twenty four,
my husband and I separated, which put my daily routine
into total upheaval. The biggest impact has been trying to
land on the right custody schedule for our son. We've
tried many different schedules but have finally landed on something
fairly stable. As far as my health, I've always loved fitness,
(01:10:04):
but again I had to completely rethink my fitness approach
and schedule to adapt to working mom life. I finally
hit astride in mid twenty twenty four. I found the
perfect gem, got consistent with a lifting routine that I
love and feel very motivated by, and rearranged child care
hours so I can work out and work out after
(01:10:25):
drop off but before work. I've been very consistent with
this schedule for a solid year now in these six
house themes of daily routine and health. There's been so
much stress, heaviness, and hard work over the last two years,
but it's also forced me to honor commitments and establish
new lasting structures. Very Saddurn I think, Okay, yeah, this
was interesting because the changes and routine came with rethinking
(01:10:49):
work in her schedule after taking maternity leave and now
that she had a child with Saturn and Aquari's her
fifth house. That led into the changes in her schedule
when it entered her sixth house, and then also the
changes in her marriage and how that is totally shaken
up her schedule. It'll be interesting to see how the
(01:11:10):
relationship stuff continues now that Saturn's moving into the seventh
house of that chart. That brings us to the end
of part one of Saturn Transit Stories. Make sure to
tune back in next week where we'll go over Saturn
transiting through houses seven through twelve. Thank you guys for listening,
and see you next time.
