There is a YouTube component to this episode on my channel, Astrology with Alice, if you want to see correlating diagrams!

This episode is a continuation of Part 1 of Saturn Transit Stories that I put out a couple of weeks ago. Here, we will be going over Saturn transiting through the 7th - 12th houses of the chart. I first am going over general themes of each of these house transits before we get into listener stories of what their experiences have been with Saturn transiting through these houses. Hopefully, this gives you a better idea of what to expect now that Saturn is moving into Aries and therefore the Aries-ruled house of your chart!

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome back to episode two of Saturn Transit Stories, where
we will be covering Saturn transiting through houses seven through
twelve of your chart. So if you need a refresher
on what Saturn transits even are, what you can expect
with them, as well as what Saturn means when it
goes through houses one through six, and listener stories that

(00:23):
correlate with those houses, feel free to go back to
the episode I put out two weeks ago on those topics,
but in this episode, we're continuing on with the same format,
so we're going through houses seven through twelve. I'm going
to give broader themes that you can anticipate with those
Saturn transits, and then we'll get into stories people have

(00:43):
written in and hopefully that gives you a better idea
if you have these transits coming up, what you can expect.
And I myself just had Saturn. It's what's wrapping up
this transit of my eighth house. So I'm also going
to be sharing my personal experience and what I've noticed
with the Saturn eighth house transit, which it wasn't fun.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
So yeah, let's get.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Right into it, starting with Saturn transiting through the seventh house,
of your chart. So this is what Virgo risings are
currently wrapping up and preparing to come out of at
last in early twenty twenty six, but also a bit
this year, and this is now what Libra risings are
entering into for a few months in twenty twenty five
and then from twenty twenty six to twenty twenty eight,

(01:25):
and this transit will reach peak intensity with the themes
we're about to go over when it comes to the
exact degree of your decent a angle. So you always
want to note what year out of this whole Saturn
transit from twenty twenty five until twenty twenty eight, when
does it reach the exact descent, and you're going to
feel all these Seventh House themes that much more intensely.

(01:47):
But in general, Saturn through the Seventh House brings up
this topic of longevity and commitment and relationships and it
has you reevaluating what relationships, and this can be platonic
or romantic, are worth my time and energy and who
do I want to give my time away to. And
often if you've been engaging in like a certain dating

(02:09):
pattern for a lot of your life, when Saturn comes
along through the Seventh house. It may have you wanting
to change up how you date and how you get
to know people, and maybe there's certain new mindset you're
developing surrounding dating and relationships, or you're working on moving
past so much having so much fear in this part
of your life, or always engaging in the same pattern there.

(02:32):
I also find as Saturn gets close to the seventh
House and first moves into it, sometimes there's this feeling
of I actually do want something a bit more committed,
and I want to know what a real long term
relationship looks like, and I want to have a meaningful
experience with someone else. So there's usually kind of this
feeling of, Okay, I want to cut the crap. I
don't want to engage in these meaningless flings anymore. I

(02:56):
want something that feels a bit more solid and committed.
And for people who are already in a relationship when
Saturn transits their seventh House, this could be a two
and a half year period where you're having to find
new ways of relating to your partner, and maybe they're
going through a stressful time in their own lives and
you have to be there to support them more. Or
maybe you're learning how to communicate and compromise better within

(03:18):
all types of close relationships. This could also signify establishing
an important business partnership, or maybe maybe there's more collaborations
and working closely together with people that comes up in
your career during this saturn. In the seventh House transit too,
another thing I noticed with this transit is that there's
usually a scaling back on friendships in your life. And

(03:41):
maybe it's you only want to surround yourself with friendships
that feel more meaningful or where you do have that
important one on one connection with someone. It's not just
these friendships that you mingle in bigger groups, but maybe
you don't have as much to say to them when
you're one on one together. You kind of want something
that feels more meaningful to you, and you could end

(04:03):
up strengthening certain friendships while others fall away from your
life at this time and then just kind of on
a similar theme, returning to that topic of romantic relationships
or business partnerships too, could also be a scaling back
in these areas. And if there have been issues that
have been repeatedly coming up in a relationship but you've
been ignoring them or avoiding them, Saturn, coming into the

(04:24):
seventh relationships just reached this naked or break it point
where it's like, do I want to further commit to
this person or am I better off walking away and
staying true to myself in that way? So it's really
it's really about listening to your own intuition on either
deepening your commitment to someone or scaling back if it's

(04:45):
not the right type of person you want in your life.
Saturn just urges you to see the reality of what
these relationships actually are. Okay, So once again I'm going
to read off the laptop for these stories. We've got
a couple of stor actually I think we have three
for Saturn in the seventh House, since this is when
I get asked so many questions about. So we'll kick

(05:06):
this off with story number one. This person says, around
March April twenty twenty three, I decided to go on
a full on healing journey. I just ended another lingering,
toxic relationship and promised myself not to date again, at
least for a while. That while turned into two and
a half years of pure me time. I had hit
a rock bottom there. The following months, I learned about

(05:29):
self worth, found happiness in being alone and dove deep
into spirituality. I attended courses, read books, and listened to podcasts.
I left London and New York City after thirteen years
and moved to Tipanga, California, where I fully focused on
myself truly for the first time in my life. I
still worked and traveled, but I made it a priority
not to obsess over it as I used to. I

(05:51):
really just wanted to spend time alone and heal and
be in nature. I started therapy and went deep into
my childhood. I learned so much about my past relationships
and my own patterns. From then on, there was in
a single day where I felt the need to be
in another unfulfilling relationship just to prove something to someone.
In the past couple of months, I finally started to
feel the urge to date again, but it's coming from

(06:12):
such a healthy and grounded place. I feel deeply fulfilled
on my own and ready for a real committed relationship.
And I also feel like it'll naturally come to me
now that I'm ready and have done some work. So yeah,
this brings up some great points about how this person
wasn't just willing anymore to date someone just to be
in a relationship and not be alone. So it's like

(06:34):
moving past that fear of being alone and needing someone
else to complete them and really doing that work on
themselves so that they're approaching relationships moving forward from a
more confident sense of self. Okay, so let's move on
to story number two. So this person says, around March
twenty twenty three, I had recently entered my first serious

(06:57):
adult relationship with a significantly older man whom I met
while traveling abroad. We were really happy together, but the
challenges of being in a relationship with someone older emotionally
overwhelmed me and prompted a return to therapy. The focus
of my session shifted towards romantic relationships, which is an
area I hadn't explored in therapy before. By the end

(07:19):
of twenty twenty three, my boyfriend and I decided to
take the next step, and we made plans for me
to move abroad and live with him. During a visit
with each other before the move, there was an argument
that led to a breakup. I think Saturn was exact
on my natal Saturn around this time, so they were
actually going through a Saturn return in the seventh House
on top of just Saturn in the seventh which is

(07:39):
makes it doubly intense. In the wake of a breakup,
I signed up for a relationship course. I learned about
attachment styles, resources for conflict resolution, and many more tools
for navigating relationships. I began to understand my patterns, wiring,
and the role I played in the failure of the relationship.
I also developed greater empathy for my ex and gained

(08:00):
insight into what might have led to his actions. We
got back together and tried to rebuild, with me putting
into practice some of the new knowledge and tools I gained.
Things ended a few months later. I put in a
lot of effort to make it work, but I found
it to be one sided and realized I had outgrown
the relationship. Not long after, I entered another relationship with
someone younger than my ex but still older than me.

(08:23):
I was hopeful because he seemed to be a better match,
but eventually I realized he wasn't emotionally equipped to meet
me where I was at. The difference this time was
that I recognized it quickly and decisively. Still, it felt
a little like two steps forward ten steps back, so
I took a break from dating. As Saturn in Pisces
prepares to leave my seventh house. I've been reflecting on
the themes that came up during this transit. Illusions in

(08:45):
my romantic relationships were a big one. One relationship started
dreamy and romantic. We met on a first date by
a statue of Neptune, which feels so on the nose
and also brings in that theme of like also, Neptune
has been in the seventh house of a Virgo rising
te art and another had to love bombing intensity. Both

(09:06):
partnerships were older and initially seemed grounded and mature, but
as the fog lifted, I saw that emotional maturity was
missing in both cases. Therapy in a relationship course helped
me get honest with myself about the patterns I was
participating in. I had to look at the ways I
wasn't advocating for equality and respect in my closest connections.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
I had to sit with.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Betrayal, the pain of settling, and ultimately develop stronger boundaries.
I'm single now, but I don't feel overwhelmed by the
relationships like I used to. I feel more grounded. I'm
more equipped to navigate conflict, communicate clearly and read the
emotional energy in a relationship. I've grown a lot interest
myself more to find an aligned partnership. So yeah, that

(09:47):
was really interesting. How a lot of personal growth and
understanding about themselves and why they have certain patterns and behaviors.
It's all coming from these relationship experiences. And when Saturn
goes through the Seventh it's like these relationships are the
biggest teachers in life for that two to three year
long period.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
So I love that story, okay.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
And then last story for Saturn in the seventh House,
this person says I was married and I had been
questioning that for a while then in late twenty twenty two,
early twenty twenty three, so this was right in the
lead up to Saturn entering the Seventh. It was still
in their sixth though. I had a really intense emotional
affair which didn't go anywhere, but taught me a lot
about what I want from a relationship and that I

(10:32):
definitely wasn't getting that from my marriage, so I ended
my marriage. Then in twenty twenty four, I believe I
met my soulmate. It's been rough going, mostly because I'm
learning a lot about myself and my boundaries, asserting myself
more as well as navigating someone who clearly isn't quite
there in terms of having the same reflective practice when
it comes to their emotions. But I was always quite

(10:54):
passive in relationships previously, and I have really been trying
to speak up this time, but also be more open
about the nice feelings too, which is hard for me.
It hasn't necessarily gone well, but I think it has
been important, and I know that if this person continues
to be in my life, it has to be on
certain terms. So I guess this has really been a
period of intense emotions which I honestly haven't let myself

(11:15):
feel in relationships for a long time. And as I said,
I don't think it's over because I feel like this
person will return and we need to navigate that. But
Saturn transiting my Seventh House has definitely been an intense
period of transformation and learning in my romantic relationships, I
think for the better. What was interesting about this story
was that there was like a setup as Saturn approached

(11:38):
the Seventh House of this person seeing their marriage more
clearly for what it was and realizing, Okay, I actually
don't want to stay in this and then they went
on to have other dating experiences that kind of showed
them ways in which they were holding themselves back in
relationships and how they wanted to be more emotionally open there.
So yeah, great story to end on. And now let's

(12:00):
move on to Saturn transiting the Eighth House. Okay, before
we move on to the eighth House, I feel like
I didn't fully emphasize at the start, how with Saturn
through the seventh it isn't always this rocky tense period
with relationships, Like, yeah, there may be issues come up
that you need to work through, but in a lot
of other cases, sometimes Saturn through the seventh is this

(12:21):
time of further committing to a partner and doing things
like getting engaged, getting married, moving in together, having a
child together, where it does bring that partnership into bigger
focus and you're doing more with another person.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
So just wanted to put that out there.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
It's not always this transit that results in a massive
breakup or has you going through a really difficult relationship experience. Okay,
let's now move on to Saturn transiting the Eighth House. So,
Leo Riisings, this is what you're wrapping up between now
and February twenty twenty six. It's been going on since

(13:00):
March of twenty twenty three for you and Virgo Risings.
You're just starting this and it will be a theme
until April of twenty twenty eight. So first I want
to go over eighth House Saturn transit themes. In general,
there are three main areas that I see emphasized with
this transit, and those are money, mental health, and greater

(13:24):
intimacy or going deeper in a relationship. So there's a
few different ways this Saturn transit can play out. One
is that you may literally be sharing money sharing resources
with someone, and that could be a romantic partner, like
maybe you're getting married and opening a bank account together,
or you're filing taxes jointly for the first time, or

(13:46):
you're learning how to split the bills and be more
mindful of like who's paying for what in a relationship.
Or it could be that you're going into business with
someone and you're really having to get clear on what
money is owed to them and what money is owed
to you, and how are you navigating that topic of
shared finances together. Also on that theme of money, Eighth

(14:07):
House is a lot about money you're not receiving from
like work so much. It's more like this passive type
income money received from investments or investors into your own
business or just investing stuff you're doing on the side.
Could also be that you want to get smarter about
saving and building building towards your future with your finances,

(14:30):
or you could make progress in paying off a significant
amount of debt or like bills you really can't avoid anymore,
so it urges you to be smarter with money overall.
And one last thing I'll say with that is like
financial help from other people may become a bigger topic
at this time, so someone stepping in to help you
out with something bigger you're paying for, or kind of

(14:53):
like to reiterate what I just said, like someone supporting
your business in some way, like an investor backing a
business you're trying to start. Because the eighth House is
a lot about these like entrepreneurial type endeavors too, and
finding ways to build something of your own and make
it a bit more sustainable. The other huge theme with
Saturn through the eighth is mental health, and I found

(15:15):
within that topic the theme of control and what is
within your control and what is without out of your control.
That was a main theme I personally encountered with Saturn
through the eighth and also better understanding why you have
certain triggers or why you have certain reactions to things,
and working through how can I react differently to conflict

(15:36):
in my life or how can I approach a difficult
relationship conversation in a healthier way where I'm more open
about how I'm feeling rather than just being passive or
passive aggressive.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Even so, yeah, it's big with your.

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Own mental health and better understanding your own behaviors and
your own emotions, but also how that influences your relationships
and how much you are opening up to other people
or how you're dealing with the inevitable conflicts that come
up in all types of relationships. Another more difficult side
of Saturn through the eighth is going through loss of

(16:11):
some sort, and in turn that may help not I
guess help you yet, but have you more aware of
your own mortality and how short life is, or have
you searching for deeper meaning in your life because you're
seeing like, Okay, that other person I noticed passed away
and that made me more aware of like I don't

(16:31):
have as much time left on earth as I thought
I did, so just makes you more aware of that
type of thing. And on a more positive note, I
do find that this is a helpful transit with getting
you to become more in touch with your own intuition
rather than seeking answers outside of yourself, really zeroing in
on what does my gut instinct tell me? How can

(16:53):
I have how can I develop these like natural psychic
abilities that I believe are in everyone, and how can
you trust those like inner instincts a lot more? Okay,
So I want to kick this off by talking about
my own story actually because I had a ton of
Eighth House themes come up with Saturn through the Eighth
so I would definitely say money and mental health were

(17:16):
the biggest themes I noticed, and also within money that
topic of having bigger expenses, especially on stuff that was
like for a longer term purpose or felt more important
to me. And then also the joint like the sharing
of money with my husband. He became my husband during
Saturn in the Eighth House, so I actually got engaged

(17:38):
and married during this transit. So yeah, we got married
and we bought an apartment together during Saturn in the
eighth house, so pooling finances for both of those big
events was really key. And also we had to file
our taxes jointly for the first time and navigate how
to do that. And also we've been we opened a

(17:58):
joint bank account, so figuring out like, Okay, how much
money do I put into our bank account together, and
how can we be smart about finances as a couple
moving forward. Also with these bigger purchases that we were doing,
we received financial help from family, So that's a common
eight house thing, is like, like I said, someone stepping

(18:19):
in from outside of you to lend you money or
support you in some way. It's money you're not working
so hard to receive. But on the flip side of that,
running my own business at the start of Saturn in
my eighth it became a lot harder to make money,
and I found that this transit was a lot. It
taught me a lot about establishing more stable sources of

(18:43):
income for myself. So before Saturn moved into my eighth
I relied a lot on brand deals and doing work
for other people in that way, and right as Saturn
moved into my eighth I noticed brands were no longer
reaching out to me. I couldn't rely on that income
as heavily as I did the first I guess four

(19:04):
years of my business. So that led me to start
a substack channel and that is now my main source
of income is substack and subscriptions from that and teaching
astrology on my own terms. So it's actually a way
better deal than doing meaningless content, meaningless astrology content for
brands that I wasn't passionate about in the first place,

(19:25):
And there's financial certainty each month for me that I
didn't have in the same way before. Also, I put
a lot of money back into building my business too,
like hiring people where I wasn't able to do that
specific skill and having to get more organized with like okay,
who what employee is owed what money? And how much

(19:45):
money do I now have leftover for my own personal
life after all of those bills are paid. So in
a way, all of these bigger expenses that went on
during Saturn and the Eighth helped me to reframe my
mindset towards money and not hold on to it so tly,
but become comfortable spending these bigger sums and knowing that
I had the finances to do. So the really difficult

(20:09):
side of this transit for me was my mental health
suffered a lot, just so much anxiety, like way more
than normal, and I had insomnia for a full year.
Just a lot of anxiety surrounding career, planning, a wedding,
and also uncertainty about when I wanted to start trying
to get pregnant or having kids. And so it was

(20:31):
like a combination of all that, like feeling like I
needed to stay on top of my career, planning, a wedding,
uncertainty about if I wanted to expand my family, and
so then I went back to therapy for the first
time in a while because of all of this pressure
I was putting on myself. It's interesting with this transit,
it was all like self induced anxiety and stress, like

(20:52):
it wasn't necessarily from an outside source. I was doing
it to myself. So that's where it comes back to
that theme of control, and I really let go of
control and told myself, I don't need to do everything
at once, I can just chill out. And after that
I started sleeping again. So it was definitely linked to
this theme of needing to feeling like I needed to

(21:14):
be in control over everything and know exactly what my
future looked like. Another positive thing that came out of
Saturn in the Eighth House for me was I really
strengthened my psychic abilities through automatic writing. I found that
when I pose questions to myself and answer them really quickly,
just like the first answer that comes to mind, can

(21:37):
be very accurate or very insightful. And then also I
started posing questions to people who have died and getting
answers through them and connecting with the spirit world in
that way. So that was really cool and something I
had never thought I had a skill with before this transit.
And then I guess, this transit isn't fully over. I

(21:57):
didn't have any major deaths. There were no major deaths
in family with Saturn through the Eighth or in other
areas of my life. But our family dog died and
that was like the first time I had been there
in the room when a pet was put down. So
that was actually really impactful and brought me this new
perspective on death and mortality and just seeing the soul

(22:19):
transition from being alive to not being there anymore was
really interesting to witness. So that was my personal Eighthouse
Saturn transit experience, and now I want to share a
couple other stories from listeners. I'll start with story number one.
This person says, as someone who's been freelancing full time
since twenty thirteen, I also migrated from the fashion industry

(22:41):
to a different career, like you referring to me, I
used to be a digital nomad and pretty much traveled
around the country and the world as I pleased. This
stopped during the pandemic, of course, but by the end
of twenty twenty two, I finally took a five week
trip abroad in hopes of getting back to traveling and
finally making some major dreams come true. As soon as
I returned in mid December twenty twenty two, so this

(23:04):
is like three months before Saturn enters the eighth House.
For this person, I noticed my mom wasn't herself. I'd
been back to living with my parents during the pandemic,
and since my goal was to resume my traveling, it
didn't make much sense to pay for a place and
then be away all the time. We took her to
a few doctors and she was hospitalized to undergo a
series of exams. In March twenty twenty three, days after

(23:27):
Saturn entered Pisces, she was diagnosed with I'm sorry if
I mispronounced this glio blastoma, a brain cancer that has
no cure nor in her case, any possible treatment whatsoever,
and was immediately referred to palliative care. Things happened really fast.
She had a seizure in April and pretty much checked out.

(23:48):
We watched her decline terribly by the day. And exactly
two years ago from when they wrote this in on
May fourteenth, twenty twenty three, Mother's Day. Oh my god,
she passed away and so sad. I'm so sorry. I
was left living with my dad, who a few weeks
after she died, was also diagnosed with cancer. Fortunately he
got treated and is doing well. The curious thing is

(24:10):
that as I was growing up, my parents traveled a lot,
especially my dad, so being around him alone was like
we were finally getting to know each other, and the
longest we'd ever been together. I never saw this coming,
to be honest, but I guess all this ties into
Saturn because Saturn does represent the father in astrology and
older people, and she says her father's seventy nine elderly

(24:32):
and eighth house themes death sharing resources.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
In a way.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Yeah, that is interesting, how like a major family death
his wife her mom brought her closer with her dad
At the same time, twenty twenty three was the most profitable,
successful year of my career so far, and while all
this was going on, I was working more than ever before.
I felt like my entire life is still undergoing a
major restructuring, and now as some recent events are making

(24:58):
me question if I'll ever get to make my dreams
come true, I feel like I've been abandoned by the
magic of life.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
If that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
I wonder if I was wrong or delusional about my
dreams all along, which I guess relates to Pissy's dreamy
side being hit with the realistic side of Saturn. I
was always very connected to the universe, to its sign synchronicities,
and basically the spiritual aspects of life, to the point
that simply gazing at the moon when it visited me
at my window would make me tear up and get emotional.

(25:27):
But the last few years have been so heavy and
centered around responsibilities. It's like my piscey side has taken
an enormous hit and has no strength to dream anymore
and enjoy the lighter aspects of life. That's something I
wanted to linger on before I continue the story. I
have been talking to like other Leo Risings who are
also coming out of Saturn through the Eighth House, and

(25:49):
a theme is like did Saturn kill our creativity? Because
I also noticed with myself, like the last two years
or so haven't felt as creative, just very like the
weight of responsibilities and money and work weighing down on
me that I haven't had like the freedom to pursue
new creative pursuits. So that's interesting that she brings that

(26:11):
up too, of just kind of feeling like the magic
of life was gone during this time. I do know
I have grown a lot and created a structure I
never had before. I never felt connected to where I
was born and grew up, so I never really tried
to make strong ties or do things like decorate the
house according to my taste or style as I'd always
thought i'd be traveling or eventually moving anyways. But I

(26:34):
had no choice but to make these things and do them,
I guess. So yeah, I love that. How I mean,
I don't love it because it's really sad for her.
The mom dying, but how that brought this person closer
to her father and then also kind of questioning it

(26:55):
just like brings in those broader themes of like Saturn
in Pissy specifically, and how there was like more of
a realistic side to the dreaminess and the creativity and
the spirituality, and maybe feeling like those things took more
work or weren't flowing as easily. Okay, moving on to
story number two for Saturn through the Eighth House. This

(27:16):
person says, since Saturn entered Pisces my eighth house, so
much has happened for me since March of twenty twenty three.
Not only did I start giving astrology readings in March
of twenty twenty three, which has only expanded since then,
but this was also the beginning of a very important,
committed partnership for me. In April May of twenty twenty three,
I and did a relationship that was never right for
me and connected with my now boyfriend, who is a

(27:39):
Virgo rising, so she's had the Saturn in his seventh
house this whole time. Since then, we've made a number
of serious commitments to each other. He moved countries to
live with me, We've started the very budding stages of
a business together.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
I love that the actual romantic relationship becoming a business
partnership too, and we're secretly played our wedding in the
coming years. I can say that this time has definitely
asked me to get serious about bringing my dreams to fruition.
But nothing has seemed like something that is too big
for me or out of my reach. I have been
very practical in matters of achieving these big goals, my

(28:15):
committed partnership with my boyfriend included. Perhaps because Pisces is
a very positive sign for a lot of my personal planets,
I feel like I've had a supportive and consistent motivation
to tackle the gradual steps needed to get me to
where I am aiming to be. I would say the
overall theme has been your dreams are attainable, you only
have to hunger down and do the work. With other

(28:36):
Eighth House themes of commitment, healing through partnership, merging of
monetary assets, taxes, lots of tax registrations to start our business,
and even more my my regular astrology practice. I've also
officially started therapy to heal a lot of family related trauma.
Writing this out, it all feels so literal, but it

(28:56):
has been a special journey, and after my very intense
sat in return Nodal war versal period in my late twenties,
I have learned that Saturn is really here to help us,
support us, and is not something to be feared. I
am grateful for all the lessons Saturn brings me, and
after I experience them, I feel ready to take on anything.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Agree completely.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Saturn is so tough in the moment, but as those
transits come to an end, I'm like, Wow, I have
accomplished so much. I'm so glad that happened to me,
and I feel like I really needed that trickier period
to pivot me into a different direction. So totally agree
with everything they said. Okay, final quick story for Saturn

(29:36):
through the Eighth House. This person says, reflecting on the
themes of the Eighth House Saturn, in the past two years,
I can say that I've brought real structure to my finances.
Even if it was not a drastic change in my life.
As I've always been very mindful about my spending, I
feel like this part of my life has fully improved.
I track the expenses plan ahead for the year and

(29:57):
feel in full control of my money. This clarity has
changed how I think about money, especially with a long
term lens. I started with a simple savings account and
eventually moved into investments. Interestingly, I also began freelancing in
twenty twenty four, and I think this shift in financial
mindset really supported that leap. A big part of this

(30:17):
growth is thanks to my boyfriend, who introduced me to
the world of investings as a good Capricorn riising. She says,
financially speaking, we do not share anything yet, but I
rely on him for investment.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Love that also similar to the story that came right
before it blending the topic of money with the romantic
relationship again, but this one was definitely geared more towards
being mindful with the spending and the saving. I wish
I had gotten more out of that with Saturn in
my eighth house, I am hoping with the node now

(30:49):
the north node now on the eighth it brings up
a little bit more organization with my personal finances. But yeah,
that is a huge theme that pops up a lot
of the time with Saturn through the eighth Okay, now
we are too, Saturn transiting the Ninth House. So Cancer Risings,
this is a transit you're wrapping up, and Leo Riisings,
this is what is just beginning for you over the

(31:11):
next two and a half almost three years. So Ninth House.
I mean, this is personally my favorite part of the chart.
So I find it I find it difficult to see
how Saturn moving through the Ninth would bring up hardship,
I guess, But Saturn through the Ninth, I would say
the biggest thing is your core life beliefs might get

(31:32):
re examined during this time. So maybe if there's a
specific field of spirituality or a religion that you've been
aligned with your whole life up until this transit, Saturn
moving through the Ninth may get you to reevaluate your
approach to that form of spirituality, or maybe you want
to deepen your commitment to a spiritual belief and things

(31:55):
like astrology for instance, maybe you want to go way
deeper in these studies or change your approach to something
like astrology or your spiritual practice in general. So that's
a huge one with Saturn and the Ninth. I would
say another big one is education and with Leo Rising's
because our ninth House is ruled by aries specifically for

(32:19):
us going into this, I find, at least for myself,
I like to do a lot of independent study. I
was never someone that was good with being in school
being taught by other people. I tend to get really
bored with people just talking to me and me having
to sit there listen. So it's more like I think
of Saturn going into our ninth as a period four

(32:40):
maybe independent research, independent learning, but I guess in general
Saturn through the ninth can be a time of going
back to school wanting to further your education on a subject.
I just wanted to make it clear it doesn't always
have to be enrolling in a specific course. It can
be the research and the learning you're doing on your
own time, and that you're just interested in a certain

(33:02):
subject and you really want to go deeper with that.
I would also say things like reading or writing, or
having opportunities to get your work published, or do work
that involves writing or teaching that feels more meaningful or
that requires a lot more effort on your part to
get going. And let's say you already are a teacher

(33:23):
or a writer in some way, or you do a
lot of public speaking for work. Maybe you're changing your
approach to these areas over the course of Saturn through
the Ninth House and one other big area to note
what this transit is the topic of foreign travel. And
this could be a time where you are spending a
lot more time in another country or immersed in another

(33:44):
culture and like learning about a different area of the world,
And it's more likely that you won't want to go
somewhere just as a tourist. You kind of want to
really have a chance to be somewhere for a bit longer,
Or there's just greater opportunities in general to go abroad
and have more experiences with traveling and seeing the world. Okay,

(34:04):
let's jump into some Saturn through the Ninth House stories
that we have. This person says, I'm also an astrologer,
but I wasn't always an astrologer. I'm actually a marketer,
and I have been for twenty years. I heard your
podcast bit about Saturn transits and thought mine was a
bit unreal when I read my chart. Why I've felt
such a pull towards spirituality, astrology, meditation, yoga, all the

(34:27):
things I did an astrology course in twenty twenty three
firstly to understand myself. I didn't even go into it
thinking I would become an astrologer, but I actually did,
and now I do readings. In twenty twenty four, I
did a Kundalini yoga and meditation course, so yeah, that's
actually I wanted to touch upon that too. Is often
the learning and education that's done under this transit is

(34:49):
about spiritual stuff too, so you can blend two of
these Saturn ninth House themes as well. So they say
this came to me in twenty twenty three when I
had a spiritual awakening. I hope that this isn't too
wu w oo, but I opened up my intuition in
a way I had never experienced before.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Definitely not to wo wu.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Also went through a lot of heartbreak that led to this,
and I'm ready for love and I so want to
be a mom, so I can see some aspects of
that in my chart about to happen. At the same time,
in twenty twenty four, I did a separate meditation course.
I qualified for both in November of twenty twenty four.
Work had been a series of shifts, and I feel
like I'm getting to the point where I know the lessons.
I came here to learn and can see the karma,

(35:27):
and I look at transits. I'm planning my first retreats
for wellness weaving an astrology too. That's such a good
point too, retreats and like teaching through travel. So yeah,
very literal Saturn Ninth House. And they also say I'm
going to be starting more on YouTube soon. This came
completely as a surprise, but I was so drawn to it,
and it makes sense when I looked at my chart

(35:49):
after I started this journey. So yeah, love how how
many themes that touches upon? Okay, the next story we
have for Saturn in the Ninth House is Pisce's Rolls
My day House. And over the last three years, much
of my energy has gone into building my career as
a musician and music teacher and finding a sense of
higher purpose in this creative and educational field. I finished

(36:11):
my master's in music in twenty twenty, and although my
dream was to have a thriving business as a violin teacher,
I had a lot of fears and imposter syndrome that
held me back. I was working as a barista mostly
full time, while teaching a few private students on the
side up until fall of twenty twenty two, when I
took the plunge quitting my coffee job and taking a

(36:31):
position at a music school in a neighboring city. So
that was right before Saturn enter their Ninth House. Like
a few months, the teaching position was quickly looking like
it wasn't the right fit. I wanted to be able
to build my own curriculum and set my own policies,
which I did not have the power to do at
that school. The directors of the music school also became
very outspoken in their conservative and conspiratorial views, and they

(36:55):
brought in clientele that were similar. I felt very out
of place and uncomfortable that environment. That's actually something I
haven't thought about, but very rings true as Saturn in
the Ninth House. Is maybe clashing with people that have
other views from your own, or being more outspoken about
what you believe in. With this transit okay, so they continue.

(37:18):
I've fulfilled my year long contract with the school at
the minimum required hours, while building my own website and
recruiting private students in my own by the summer of
twenty twenty three, so this is a little after Saturn
had earned the ninth, I put in my notice to
the school and continued privately enrolling students and families that
aligned with my vision for the kind of community I

(37:38):
wanted in my violin studio. By the fall of twenty
twenty three, I was fully self employed. I was running
my own violin studio from my home, working with the
most wonderful families and children who have just felt like
the right fit. In the last year and a half,
I've continued to learn how to create policies and set
boundaries in my work so that I can be the
best teacher I can and continue to cultivate the best

(38:00):
studio community I can envision. I've taken workshops and courses
for music teachers to refine my skills in teaching philosophy.
The art of teaching has started to truly feel like
a spiritual practice. I'm the best teacher when I'm fully
present with the student in front of me.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Oh, I love that.

Speaker 1 (38:17):
So much focus these past three years has been on
building my entrepreneurial career, which feels more like a Tenth
House theme well as a cancer rising. You have had
eclipses in the Tenth House. We can't forget the other
transits always. However, the educational focus on my career path
aligns with the Ninth House, especially pursuing a sense of
higher purpose and creative freedom in my career, which feels

(38:39):
very pissy in. Another transformation that has occurred has been
in my spiritual beliefs. I was raised in Christian Catholic circles,
but around twenty twenty the far right Christian movement really
pushed me away from my church communities.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
They just felt hypocritical.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
In twenty twenty two twenty twenty three, I started getting
really into astrology and learned a bit from your previous podcast. However,
I still have a core belief in God, a higher power,
and I could never fully shake the draw I have
to Jesus's teachings. For a while, I felt really uncomfortable
around the subject of religion because I didn't know where
I stood. I didn't know how to identify myself. In

(39:14):
the last six months, I found a church that is
much more liberal leaning, accepting of LGBTQ, and speaks out
against the oppressive and bigoted actions of the Conservative Party.
I feel like I found a community that is aligned
with how I view what it means to truly be
a Christian. I also no longer feel uncomfortable in telling
others what I believe.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
I try to.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
Follow the actual teachings of Jesus to extend love to
the oppressed and marginalized. I am against the American evangelical doctrine,
and I still love astrology and find it to be
fascinating tool that helps me trust in the greater tapestry
of life. So yeah, that was a great example of
someone that was already very spiritual but just needed to
change their approach to their spirituality and even ended up

(39:56):
blending different aspects of spiritual beliefs. So yeah, I found
that very interesting. One thing I did want to point
out is I wasn't sure if they were saying this,
but as an astrologer like I still believe in a
higher power and God too, it doesn't I feel like
those two things don't have to be separate from one another,
which is I guess this is a conversation for another day.

(40:17):
But I don't get why religious people have so much
stuff against astrologers, because it's like we all believe in
something bigger than ourselves.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
That's really the purpose here.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
Okay, let's now move on to Saturn transiting through the
tenth house of the chart, and so similar to what
I was saying about the seventh house and the descendent angle.
When using holesign houses like I do, the tenth house
angle can often be found in the literal tenth house,
or it could be in the ninth or the eleventh,
or in rarer.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
Cases, the twelfth or the eighth. So if you.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
Happen to have your mid heaven in one of those
other houses besides the tenth, you can incorporate the tenth
house themes we're about to go over into the themes
of the house in which it's located. So, for instance,
if you have a midhaven in the ninth house, then yes,
that Saturn transit through the ninth house will still have
to do with beliefs or travel or teaching or writing,

(41:10):
but it could also incorporate these bigger themes of career
and public image or figuring out overall life calling. So
you're really blending topics of career with whatever house the
mid heaven is located in, and how Saturn is influencing
both of those at the same time. Before we get started,
meant to say, this is what Gemini risings are wrapping

(41:32):
up and coming out of since March of twenty twenty three,
and this is what cancer risings are now starting for
the next two and a half almost three years or so.
So when Saturn first enters the Tenth House, there's often
this strong desire to maybe restructure an element of how
you're going about your career or search for work that

(41:53):
feels more aligned with the person you're becoming. And there
can often be this bigger stress or the weight of
your responsibilities is kind of like crushing down on you
when Saturn first enters the Tenth House, and it may
be hard to keep up at work, or there's just
a lot of responsibilities on your plate that you're trying
to manage at once, career or not career related. So

(42:15):
this is really a time of figuring out what's worth
my time and energy, Where do I want to be
in the long term, even like what does my career
look like five to ten years from now, and how
can we put that into bigger perspective and really work
towards projects and opportunities that fit in with that bigger goal.
And if you felt kind of lost or directionless in

(42:35):
your career up until this Saturn transit, this can be
a time of really figuring out what actually lights you
up in terms of career or life calling even like
passions outside of like what you actually do for money,
figuring out where you want to direct your energy, and
maybe like kind of the role in which you want

(42:55):
to assume in the world. So Tenth House transits can
also be about taking on a more public facing role
or bigger responsibilities in other areas of your life, like
maybe within a community you're a part of, or I
see this often when people become a parent for the
first time Tenth House transits, especially one like Saturn or

(43:16):
taking place because they're becoming someone who was mainly in
charge of just themselves and now they're redefining their role
in the world is now being someone's parent. So that's
an interesting take on Saturn through the Tenth And also
staying on that theme of family, I would say doing
undergoing a bigger move or dealing with family related responsibilities

(43:38):
come up with Saturn to the mid Heaven or Saturn
through the Tenth because it's opposite to the Ic and
the Fourth House, so it's always going to bring in
those themes of the opposition too. So mainly it's like
you could think of Saturn through the Tenth House as
redefining career, restructuring long term goals, and assuming greater responsibilities

(44:00):
or more of a public image in another area of
your life or within your career. So we have two
stories for Saturn in the Tenth House story. Number one,
they say, here is my Saturn in Piz's in the
Tenth House story. I had a lot of ups and
downs with work and career interests that started to really
ramp up in twenty twenty three. I was depressed and

(44:20):
extremely exhausted, barely making it through the workday with any
energy leftover. I was having physical symptoms from the stress
and taking on more responsibility. I was forced into a
position of leadership as my manager was not effectively leading
the new hires on our team. I ended up confronting
him and setting boundaries around my role and responsibilities at
the company. This was definitely outside my comfort zone and

(44:43):
helped me build a lot of confidence. Eventually, I asked
for a promotion and have been able to adjust my
position and projects to better suit me. I also realized
I pushed myself harder than necessary at work and slowly
let myself take it easier and integrate breaks in my day.
I also decided I want to set up my career
so that I could have flexibility to start a family
and be available to children in the future. Love that

(45:06):
in how blends like the family and home and personal
life with the career aspirations. They also say I was
able to switch from salary to hourly to give me
this flexibility. Throughout this experience, I questioned whether this career
was a good fit for my skill set and interests,
and if pivoting into a more creative career would be
a better fit. I seriously considered quitting this stable job

(45:28):
to pursue interior design, but ultimately decided it wasn't a
path I wanted to go down. These last few years
pushed me out of my comfort zone to gain confidence
and restructure my role at work, relax my tendency to overwork,
and allow myself to explore other career options. I feel
much more stable, capable, and confident professionally than ever before.

(45:50):
So yeah, that blends a lot of great Tenth House themes.
How I get the start of that transit, it was
a lot more challenging with career, but then that got
this person to look outside of what they were doing
and be like, are there other opportunities I want to pursue?
How can I have greater flexibility? And now it sounds
like that transit, the wrapping up of it. It's going

(46:11):
a lot better with them and work Okay, then story
number two we have for Saturn through the Tenth House.
They say, during the middle of my Saturn return, right
before Saturn Inner Pisces, I quit my niche, well paid
day job and started a part time gig as an
adjunct professor. A month before Saturn Enter Pisces the Tenth House,

(46:32):
I was given an opportunity to pick up the same
line of work I had previously quit and to continue
teaching at night. At the beginning, my day job brought
back a lot of the feelings from my Saturn return period, displacement, discontent,
and generally just feeling stuck. I was trying to learn
new skills to build up new work slash content, but
it really didn't go anywhere. At night, however, my job

(46:55):
as an adjunct professor was becoming increasingly more engaging. I
found myself entirely focused on developing my teaching methodology, creating lectures,
and solving problems surrounding my class topics and materials. I
was drained during the day, but came alive at night.
I remember this time period as being very uncomfortable and
hard because I was having trouble reconciling which direction I

(47:18):
should move towards. As I reflect on both of these
dual experiences, I wonder whether my time at my day
job was that much harder because I refused to face
the feelings that arose and refused to see the learning
opportunity that this day job provided, or my time at
night job was that much easier because I was much
more disciplined in creating solutions rooted in empathy and compassion

(47:39):
for my students. I was struck by mental clarity after
the Pisces eclipse in that same tenth House in September
twenty twenty four, combined with Jupiter entering the first and
entering a tenth House perfection year. So this is where
we get into all these other timing stuff going on.
At the same time, I realized I'm someone who have
multiple career related identities in my lifetime, and that each

(48:01):
identity will have come at its own correct time. I
need to focus on what is in front of me
see each job identity as both a mental and emotional
learning opportunity and to not rush into other ventures as
a way to avoid my feelings. So, yeah, has the
Saturn and the Tenth of maybe feeling overworked and stepping

(48:23):
back and seeing what are they actually truly passionate about
in their career. And yeah, it's interesting how it blends
what they just came out of with Saturn and the
Ninth when Saturn was an Aquarius, the teaching and then
applying that to work opportunities once Saturn undered their tenth
and that's what they were doing at night. So it

(48:44):
sounds like they're getting at also getting a better handle
on what they truly care about in their career. As
this Saturn and Pisces fully wraps up at the start
of twenty twenty six. Okay, moving right along to Saturn
transiting through the Eleventh. So this is what Taurus Risings
you've been working on and you're wrapping up since March

(49:05):
of twenty twenty three, and now this is what Gemini
Risings are about to enter into or are already in
by the time this episode comes out. So Eleventh House
themes in general, when Saturn transits through this part of
your chart. It's almost similar to the seventh House and
the third house really in that it has a lot

(49:25):
to do with making you reevaluate what relationships are worth
your time and energy. And again, this could be a
period of scaling back on certain friendships or on the
other hand, strengthening certain relationships. So maybe there's friends you
really realize that they're there for you and you want
to lean more heavily into supporting some of those friends,

(49:47):
while there's others that just naturally fall away from your
life during this time, And the same can go for
romantic relationships too. On another note, it could be that
you're making a bigger effort to be a part of
a community or make an effort to see people and
bring friends or maybe an audience. Like if you work
for yourself and have a community around your work, this

(50:09):
could be a great period to do stuff like plan workshops,
plan in person events, do retreats, putting more effort into
bringing people together and having that greater sense of community
for yourself. And also, even if you're not doing that
kind of stuff for work, maybe you naturally, like in
your personal life, want to branch out of your usual
friendship circle and meet new people, or you're naturally having

(50:33):
a lot more networking and opportunities to do so come
up during.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
This two and a half year period.

Speaker 1 (50:39):
But I really want to emphasize how romantic relationships are
surprisingly a big theme with Saturn through the Eleventh and
it does have that similar effect of Saturn through the
Seventh where this could be a greater time of commit
further committing to a romantic relationship and having a happy
event happen there, or again, this could be a period
where you decide to go your separate ways and realize

(51:00):
that that's not the relationship for you. And then outside
of friendships, relationships, community, the other interpretation of the eleventh
House is really your bigger goals and aspirations for the future,
and how might you be taking those things a bit
more seriously or actually putting hard work and effort into
reaching these bigger goals you've set for yourself. So maybe

(51:22):
for a long time you've been like, I want to
write a book or I want to have I want
to do this huge thing in my career, and it's
never felt like the right time to do so, or
you've never gotten this support to do something like that
that could very much come to be during Saturn in
the Eleventh House, like working towards these loftier aspirations. So

(51:44):
in a way, that's a great aspect of this transit. Okay,
let's do some Eleventh House Saturn transit stories. So story
number one, this person says, I remember going into this
transit so happy with my friendships. Things changed a lot
my whole life. This person who loved having tons of
friends all over the world, and by the end, I've

(52:04):
become a bit more selective and liked to be around
close friends who can go deep about things. This transit
brought a lot to the surface. Two separate friendships from
college where we spoke at length about our past issues,
and the friendships came out stronger and more adult, so
they had that more meaningful connection took the friendship to
the next level. Well. She also says she had two

(52:25):
friendships that ended extremely abruptly. One close friend ghosted me
after she didn't show up to a night out. We
haven't talked since June of twenty twenty three, insane to me.
I followed up, asked what's wrong everything. Then my best
friend abandoned me during a really bad health crisis. I
was having our friendship ended, and the grief around that

(52:46):
was horrible and still is really hard. I lost her,
her family, and their whole network of friends who were
all important to me. I guess the main lesson for
me was that you can't control anyone or keep anyone
in your life. People are experience, not a possession. Some
of these situations, I was really driven mad thinking about
everything I could have done, possibly done wrong, when the

(53:08):
reality was it isn't really about me if people choose
to act like that and don't want to confront issues. However,
once the Eclipses moved into my fifth eleventh houses in January,
so that was when the North node went into Pisces,
awakening that eleventh house even further. Things got way better
to the hopes and dreams part of the eleventh House.

(53:29):
I got my dream job after ten years of working
towards it. During twenty twenty three, I also started a
small business focused around community, which is growing and always
introducing me to new people.

Speaker 2 (53:39):
Where I live. I love that story.

Speaker 1 (53:42):
I like how it shows the positive stuff with friendships
and further committing to certain friends, while also going through
that difficulty and realizing like other people's reactions to her
maybe isn't necessarily a.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
Reflection of herself.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
I also had another story I wasn't able to use
because of time purposes, but someone else mentioned friends abandoning
them with a bad health crisis, and so that was
just interesting, like when someone's in a time of need,
maybe realizing, Oh, the people that I thought were my
friends and I thought they were important to me, weren't
there anymore. So I kind of want to add that

(54:20):
in of like a challenging life experience may help you
to realize who was really there for you in life. Okay,
then we have the next story for Saturn through the
eleventh House. This person says, I'm new to astrology, so
definitely still learning, but I think Saturn and Pisces has
made quite an impact in my eleventh house of friendships
and community. During the summer of twenty twenty four a

(54:41):
close friendship that I had enjoyed, that I had enjoyed
for ten plus years and thought would be a lifelong
friendship ran into some hardship and has now all but dissolved.
We had become friends through our kids who attended daycare
together in twenty fourteen, and our families became very close.
We traveled together and spent most weekends together. Even as

(55:02):
the kids grew apart in life got busier, we typically
had dinner and drinks on.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
A weekly basis.

Speaker 1 (55:07):
Although our husbands are still in touch, she now hasn't
spoken to me since November. There's been no closure, which
to me gives very water sign energy pisces and has
been a challenge. Moreover, this friendship has led to two
other friendships that begin an adulthood for me, and both
have also felt limited and less fulfilling given what happened
with the primary friend. I've stopped using the term best

(55:29):
friend as a result of this experience. The term just
feels too exclusive and limiting to me now and even
a bit immature. I found myself intentionally seeking out more
emotionally mature friends, looking for ways to meet people who
might be better matched to my interests and personality, and
have started being more intentional about maintaining my other friendships.

(55:50):
I have stopped drinking alcohol in part because of what
I experienced with this friend that led to the breakdown
of our friendship. Much of the time spent with that
friend did center around drinking, and I'm just not interested
in that anymore, I find myself having to be more
disciplined about my thoughts so that I don't get sucked
into a pity party about where she left things with
our friendship. I'm forty three years old, and the last

(56:12):
time Saturn would have transited my eleventh House was during
the breakdown of my parents' marriage and subsequent divorce. That
brings up a great point. How like, if you want
to track transits as far back as childhood, sometimes the
relationship transit's like Saturn through the Seventh or the Eleventh
in this case, have to do with your parents' relationship

(56:33):
and how you're witnessing relationship through them. She says, the
sense of loss and dramatic change to my social life
and its impact on my identity feels very familiar, even
though I'm happily married and have other friends. So it
is like this painful Saturn through the Eleventh recalls thirty
years prior when she must have been a preteen early

(56:53):
teenager witnessing parent's divorce.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
That's really interesting. I love that story.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
And then finally we're wrapping up this episode with Saturn
transiting through the twelfth House.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
So this is what.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
Aries risings you guys are wrapping up, you're coming out
of this since March of twenty twenty three and now
Taurus risings, you're just entering into this and it'll carry
through Spring of twenty twenty eight April twenty twenty.

Speaker 2 (57:17):
Eight to be exact.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
So this is a transit that people are definitely scared of.
Eighth and twelfth House tend to bring up the most fear,
and I do yes, there are very difficult aspects of
a Saturn through the twelfth, but as you'll see in
these stories, it actually like is necessary these harder times
in order for these people to have a better idea

(57:39):
of like their emotional self and moving past limiting beliefs
and mindsets they've had. So general themes of Saturn in
the twelfth House, sometimes there can be endians that occur
in life. Maybe this could be like walking away from
a career path that doesn't feel fulfilling, or relationship that's

(58:01):
on its course, or literally having someone you know pass
away and dealing with that grief and loss in your life.
I would also say it tends to make it tends
to amplify mental health stuff, So it could be that
emotions become a lot stronger, you're having to face stuff
you've kept repressed, or maybe you end up getting a

(58:23):
diagnosis for something mental health related that had been bothering
you up until this transit. Definitely going to therapy or
engaging in alternative forms of healing, like anything that helps
you to better understand yourself and your own emotions. And
also there is similar to the Ninth House Saturn transit,
there's a greater desire to have deeper meaning in your

(58:45):
life or really figure out what your beliefs are, and
maybe there's more of an interest in things like spirituality,
for instance. I would also say spending a lot more
time alone would be a Saturn in the Twelfth House
theme and becoming comfortable with that solitude I just always
think of with Twelfth House. And sometimes that can be
because of illness or mental health stuff that comes up,

(59:08):
or sometimes it's like, Okay, I just need to rest
and I need time to really reflect on my next
steps and go within and not be around people so much.
But overall, this is a transit of really taking yourself on,
really looking at how have I held myself back in
life up until at this point, and how can I
shed these self sabotaging patterns, limiting beliefs, ways in which

(59:33):
you're holding yourself back somehow. Okay, So with that being said,
let's get into some stories to help illustrate twelve House
and ground it in actual examples. So story number one,
this person says, I'm an Aries rising, so Saturn has
been transiting my twelfth house. On top of that, I'm
closely approaching my Saturn return, which has conjunct my ascendant.

(59:54):
So now they're coming into the Saturn return that Saturn's
and Aries, but Saturn em Pisces was twelve. I'm sharing
that with you because this transit has felt like a
build up to a massive change in so much of
my life, and I think those natal placements at appropriate context.
As you might imagine, I've had a ton going on,
but to focus on Saturn in the twelfth House Pisces

(01:00:15):
themes specifically, this transit has been challenging but so rewarding
for me. So she kind of breaks this down into
bullet points, which I'm going to go through. One is,
I've spent more time alone than ever before. I decided
in January February twenty twenty three, so a month before
Saturn moved into the twelfth that I wanted to live
alone for the first time in my life, and decided

(01:00:38):
to move into my own place in a brand new
city in October twenty twenty three. I've learned how to
prioritize myself and my own wishes. I've made some friends,
but I've spent the majority of my time alone, and
I've been working remotely the whole time. I decided recently
to move back to the city i'm from when my
lease is up in August. I haven't lived there since
high school. I'm still going to live in my own place,

(01:00:59):
but I will be going to an office every day
and will be around a lot more friends and family.
The timing of these two major moves is crazy. So
it's like Saturn in the twelve house was that more
isolated move, and now that that's ending, it's back to
being around people. That is actually wild. I've rediscovered religion
and have found a clear sense of faith. I grew

(01:01:21):
up believing in Christ, but throughout my twenties with skeptical
leading up to the Saturn transit, I became interested in
astrology and have studied it more throughout. I also read
a lot of philosophy books and listened to podcasts, read
books about consciousness, simulation theory, and Catholicism. I'm including a
footnote about my newfound belief system, but basically, long story

(01:01:43):
short is, I've become a believer in Christ again. I
focus on my mental health for the first time in
my life. I admitted to someone into another person that
despite being a happy person, I sometimes fall into depression.
I decided that therapy wasn't the right way for me
to deal with this. Admitting it to myself and adopting
new habits and mantras has helped my depression so much

(01:02:03):
more than regularly talking about it and letting the emotions fester,
if that makes sense. So that's actually interesting. It's like
figuring out a different structure of coping with mental health.
And how like I mentioned, therapy is one tool, but
if that doesn't resonate with you, maybe there's some other
type of healing that's uncovered under this Saturn through the

(01:02:24):
Twelfth House. During this transit, I started taking care of myself.
I'm eating healthier, going on walks, journaling, and working out
more than I have in years. These habits, paired with
my religious practices, have helped me so much, and I
have not been depressed since. Adopting them brings up another
great point too, the Twelfth's opposition to the six I
just find always with Twelfth Twelfth House transits they bring

(01:02:46):
in wellness and physical health. Being an emphysis too, so
maybe wanting to get more structured in how you exercise,
what types of food you're consuming, really being mindful of
how the way you go about your Fay life influences
your mental health and how you feel about yourself. Okay,
and then we are too. Story number two for Saturn

(01:03:09):
through the twelfth House. This person says, I can tell you,
for one thing, this Saturn transit has been wild for
my mental health. They also have the Moon in the
twelfth House too, so that does make this transit a
bit more difficult. Saturn to the Moon is so hard.
So they say, I had never been more depressed in
the aspects of career, community, and overall well being. I

(01:03:29):
know that can sound scary, and I've been in therapy
for many, many years, but for the first time I
was diagnosed with OCD and that was a massive game
changer for me. It really has been forcing me to
loosen the grips on the control issues I've always had,
but never knew how deeply I had them. Also, what
I didn't realize is you treat someone with OCD anxiety

(01:03:50):
differently than regular and found I was misdiagnosed because the
type of OCD I have is invisible and takes place
primarily in the mental space. Not to mention, my friend
group has massively shifted and widened. I feel like I've
made a lot of fast, long term friendships. This could
be due to Jupiter transiting my third house, so again
combining transits. I've never been busier in terms of community events.

(01:04:14):
This transit forced me to really take into account what
was important to me and boundaries I had to set
within myself. So that's interesting how it's like, okay, not
necessarily such an isolating time, but still the interactions were
urging this person to do inner reflection. I also got
incredibly spiritual and into astrology more than ever. I lost

(01:04:37):
my grandmother, my uncle, my brother had a medical emergency
on a plane.

Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
He's okay now, and.

Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
My other brother's childhood best friend took his own life.
I had a lot of friends who went through a
lot of trauma and hardship too. It was really kind
of wild at one point, just how many things around
me felt dark and heavy when Saturn was transitting exactly
over my natal moon in March twent four. Okay, wait,
I think I have the same moon degree as this person,

(01:05:04):
because that was when Saturn was on my moon.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
They say.

Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
I ran my first ever ten k and then half
marathon in May twenty twenty four, and it taught me
that wait, hold on, sorry, I missed that sentence up,
and it taught me how powerful the mind is. All
in all, I wouldn't say this transit was easy to
say the least, but I will say being diagnosed and
currently being in treatment for OCD in my medical phobias

(01:05:29):
has already changed my life for the better, and I
wouldn't change that for anything. The only way out is through,
and I've never been so hopeful. Okay, and then we're
wrapping up with one final story on Saturn. In the
twelfth house. This person says, the beginning of this transit
in the spring of twenty twenty three was a period
of significant burnout for me, trying to manage a job

(01:05:50):
I was not enjoying, and a lot of friendships which
felt unbalanced. In early June twenty twenty three, I dealt
with the death of my family's dog after his six
month long battle with lymphoma, which was a very difficult
period for me and my family. This loss was followed
by another period of burnout during August and September, which
also coincided with aspects to my natal chart. As the

(01:06:12):
planet was retracing its steps during a retrograde, I was
once again struggling with finding motivation in my job, as
well as with feelings of mediocrity in my friendships. The
biggest catalyst of this transit came with the unexpected death
of my friend in October twenty twenty three. Dealing with
the feelings of grief and loss was one of the

(01:06:32):
most difficult periods of my life and led to a
lot of struggles with my work performance and showing up
for my friends. As Saturn went direct, the aspects to
my natal chart were made for the third time between
December twenty twenty three and February twenty twenty four, bringing
back feelings of burnout and exhaustion.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
As difficult as.

Speaker 1 (01:06:50):
The period of grief was, it also brought about change.
I started therapy for the first time in my life,
and I found a wonderful therapist who I am still
seeing now. I was able to see who showed up
for me when I was at my lowest, and while
it was hurtful to realize some people who I considered
friends were not there for me, it allowed me to
let go of imbalanced relationships and put my full energy

(01:07:10):
and trust into friendships with people who I knew would
take care of me. I ended up leaving the job,
which was causing me so much burnout after realizing how
unsupportive that environment was towards my grief. Although I'm still
trying to navigate life, after quitting my job and trying
to settle into something new, I have really been able
to focus on my mental health, understanding my emotions, and

(01:07:31):
building a stronger relationship with myself. I've taken the time
to revisit hobbies and interests, and I'm trying to build
a future that is much more aligned with what I
enjoy doing and don't feel drained by Saturn. Transiting my
twelfth house was definitely was definitely a difficult lesson in
prioritizing my mental health and learning how to let go
of people and environments. That don't have my best interest

(01:07:53):
at heart. What a great note to end on. And
I think a huge theme across all of these Saturn
Transit stories, through all.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Of the houses is that yes, it was.

Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
Extremely difficult, maybe for the first year, year and a
half of it, but by the tail end of this
two and a half three year long transit, there's more
perspective on this part of a person's life and they
feel like they have a better handle and even a
sense of mastery over the topics of that house. So
just wanted to say a huge thank you for everyone

(01:08:25):
who wrote in their stories you hope make this a
great episode. And even if I didn't use your story,
I still read through them all and they made their
way into the themes of all of the houses we
went over. So still thank you you did help, and yeah,
thank you for listening.

Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
And I will see you guys back here next time.
