Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hi, guys, we have a fun guest episode today. I
have my very good friend and fellow astrologer, Maxine Lucia
on the podcast, so we're going to get into that
interview right after this intro. And I wanted to have
her on because some of you may already be familiar
with Maxine in her work, because I used to have
a podcast with her called Astrology in You, which we

(00:26):
did from twenty twenty one to twenty twenty three. It's
currently on hiatus.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
We don't have.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Plans to bring it back at the moment, but never
say never, and we kind of get into why we
stop doing that podcast throughout this episode. But I also
wanted to have Maxine on because she has a very
unique approach to astrology. She practices what we call spiritual astrology,
so looking at your birth chart and transits through more
of this like evolutionary karma, spiritual lens, and we get

(00:56):
we get into what all of that means throughout this episode.
But I do want to start having more astrologers on
because every astrologer has a very unique approach to their
practice and there's different takeaways to learn from everyone when
studying astrology, and that in turn can help you figure
out what type of astrology and what techniques resonate the

(01:19):
most with me, and maybe you take a bit from
each person or each astrologer that you're drawn to. But yeah,
throughout this episode, we go over a few different topics. First,
we start out by talking just in general about what
spiritual astrology is. Then we also go back and forth
about what parts of the chart we like to look
at when we're giving a reading. And then we get

(01:42):
more into this discussion about how to tap into your
intuition and really learn how to trust yourself through looking
at certain chart placements. So I thought that was really
interesting to touch upon, and she gives some great insights
into that. And then I just have my notes here
about what we went over. So yeah, we go over

(02:03):
like spiritual astrology in general, and then we get into
so she recently moved from the US to Spain back
in twenty twenty three, and that's a question I get
asked about a lot, is the timing of undergoing a
bigger move or possibly even moving abroad. So we get
into transits that supported that move for her, or other
transits you might want to look at. And then we

(02:24):
also go back and forth on like what our least
and what our least favorite, and what our most favorite
transits are in general, before wrapping up with astrology that
we're looking forward to in the rest of twenty twenty
five and I think also maybe into twenty twenty six
and twenty twenty seven to two. So yeah, there's a
lot we got into in this episode, and I hope

(02:45):
you enjoy it. And I love magazine and she tells
you where to follow her at the end of the episode,
but I've also included this in the description of this
YouTube video, so.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Check that out.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Book a reading with her, sign up for her course,
follow her on Instagram. She's great and I hope you
enjoyed this episode. Hi Maxine, welcome to the podcast. I'm
so excited to have you here. How are you doing good?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Oh my gosh, I'm so happy to be here. And
it feels so weird because it just feels like another
one for he calls.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
But no, it's been like two years since we recorded
a podcast together. But we still like catch up all
the time, obviously, but it's weird to be back like recording.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, Like I have to remind myself that this is
gonna other people will be listening to it. But I
feel like that's always like even when we had our podcast,
it felt like that too, like, oh, other people will hear.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
This, but yeah, yeah, maybe we should addressed the elephant
in the room right off the bat, like for anyone
who's new to Maxine and just like found my podcast.
Maxine and I used to have a podcast together, Astrology
in You, which we did from twenty twenty one to
twenty twenty three, and then we just stopped doing it
and never really explained why. But that's just I would

(04:03):
say that just kind of like when we're done with something,
we're done with something.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I don't know, how did you feel? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
No, I mean it's really funny because I've I'm thinking
back to that time in our life. I feel like
we were both had so much going on in our
lives separately, and yeah, we were just like, oh, we're
kind of done, like it's just come to a natural
pause for now. And I mean, I have a scorpio stellia,
my moon's there, so I'm very much like when I'm done,

(04:32):
I'm just okay onto the next thing. I think you're
that way too.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Als.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Yeah, it was like it was just like a stressful
twenty twenty three was so stressful in our lives, and
I just remember like one Saturn moved into Pisces and
there was just like a different vibe it that year.
We were just like, wait, like we cannot keep up
this podcast anymore.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
But I got.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Married, then you got married.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Exactly, and it was I had like my book coming
out and it was just like very overwhelming. And I
mean it's on hiatus right now, so never say never,
but yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Yeah, And if we weren't always we'd talk over the
phone and Alice and I would say we need to
we need to do another episode to like explain to people,
but it's just, yeah, it just didn't happen all now, So.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I know, Well, I'm glad you're here.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Do you want to start off by saying, like what
your sun and sun moon and rising are? You just
said you had a scorpio stelium, but yeah, would love
to hear the rest of your chart.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Yeah, Alice has nine memorized for sure, But yeah, I'm
a taurist's sun, scorpio moon and a Gemini rising.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Love.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I love Gemini rising people. I have like so many
of them in my life.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Yeah, that makes sense for your chart, it's your eleventh
house of Friends.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
So it's interesting how like we do have such different charts,
Like we have a different element rising sign. I guess
our sun signs are both in fixed signs, but like
your moon, my moon, it's like in different signs and elements,
not different element, but different modality. And it's still crazy
how we'll feel a transit in a very similar way.

(06:12):
And we talk about this all the time. It's like
we like the way we felt like Saturn and Pisces
in the same way of like different how different parts
of our lives are activated at the same time and
we go through very similar things.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Yeah, it's so wild how Alice and I we we're
always i mean similar or tangential themes are coming up
in our lives almost at the same time. Whenever we talk,
there will be something happening for Alice that is happening
in some way for me too in a different way,
Like we feel and pick up on the same themes
because the transits maybe it's going over your sun, but

(06:48):
it's affecting my mid heaven or yeah, just the way that.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, like even though we have different Big three, it's
like we still have these like very powerful sinistry matchups,
and I think like it's because of that, Like my descendant,
you're mid Heaven, are both at like thirteen fourteen Aquarius.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Right, yeah, like right on top of each other.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Yeah, so that's how I wanted to have you on
because I just feel like the way we talk about
transits and catch up about astrology, we're always like on
the same page somehow.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Yeah, And whenever we're talking to we'll always just say
we should just be recording this because I feel like
we're people would find this entertaining, I know. Yeah, and
it is interesting too. Always think it's funny how Jesse
has a similar chart to me in many ways too.
So it really just shows, yeah, like how you're attracted
to certain energy because your soul is oh right, this

(07:44):
person has something to teach me and it activates certain
potentials in you, and like you know, you're drawn to that.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, that is very interty because like you're one of
my closest friends and then Jesse's obviously my husband who
I'm like very close with. But it's like you're not
just like a random friend, Like you have a similar closeness.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
That I would have to my own husband.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
And it's because, like I guess, because you have similar
chart placements to him, I just feel comfortable around like
a Scorpio moon, a Taurus sun, that type of thing.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, it's it's so wild. I mean, sinistry is so
fascinating because you start to notice once you actually know
the astrology types of people around, you can see and
pick up on those themes so easily, and you'll see
those patterns that those people keep coming into your life
over and over again until you kind of learn your

(08:36):
lesson there or otherwise it's just that person's meant to
be in your life.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Yeah, yeah, that is really interesting. Well, I want to
ask questions about you. Enough about me, more about you.
What I want to talk about like the type of
astrology you practice, and like what your approaches to astrology
and what you enjoy.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Doing the most.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
I know there's a lot of questions at once, so
maybe just start out by talking about, like what type
of astrology do you practice?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Yeah, so I'm a spiritual astrologer, so that's like an evolutionary,
soul based approach, karmic approach to astrology. And basically how
I use astrology is seeing how that how astrological patterns
in your birth chart or transits show up with the

(09:24):
purpose of your soul, and so it's it's kind of
that spiritual interpretation of your chart. So that's d a
nuts such. It's kind of like astrology. I think sometimes
when you're looking at your birth chart, for example, you
learn a lot about yourself. It has a self analysis
that can prove to be so helpful. But I feel
like the way that I like to look at charts

(09:48):
is from this soul awareness kind of approach.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Okay, I want to ask, like, do you look at
the chart as a whole to figure that out? Because
I know it's like there's things like sad is thought
to be of as karmic, or like the north and
south nodes. But I think, like what I'm getting from
you saying is that you really need to take like
that whole chart into consideration exactly.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Yeah, I mean, from a spiritual approach, everything in your
birth chart is karmic in some way, because I the
chart itself is showing you and this incarnation your soul is.
It's showing you the patterns from your past, but also
what you've come here to learn or what lessons you
are here to learn. But also what you're here to overcome,

(10:33):
what gifts you have, what strengths, what shadows all of that.
So everything in your chart is karmic in the way
that I look at it. Yeah, it's not just a
certain planet.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
I do love that, and I believe in it too.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
It's like I believe like the birth chart is that
like blueprint of your life and like what your potential
is in this life, and like what you came here
to accomplish. And then the timing to that birth chart,
like through transits or so returns or whatever, shows when
those different potentials become unlocked and you like really step

(11:06):
into that bigger purpose for yourself.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Yes, and that's exactly something you said that's really important
from that spiritual approach is your birth chart shows you
those potentials and even the transits is showing you that
energy that's being activated. So again another potential or possibility.
But from the way that I read charts, it's you're
co creating with what you see in the charts. So

(11:32):
your birth chart isn't what's going to happen. It's showing
you a map that you can work with, that you
can use for that soul guidance and you can see
messages of what you need to know at any point,
like if you go to get a reading or you're
looking at your own chart, you pick up on just
what your soul needs to hear even to help you
in that part of your life.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
I love.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
That's what I found interesting because we've both been practicing
astrology for about like seven years now, I think since
twenty eighteen, and it is interesting scene over time, with
the knowledge of astrology, how I'll grow into different parts
of my chart that when I first started doing astrology
maybe I didn't understand that part of my chart fully.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Like for instance, like with Pluto.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Entering Aquarius and like getting close to my Aquarius sun,
I just find myself like very much feeling more Aquarius
in a way I have never felt in my entire life,
like more community, like I want to do stuff for
other people, I want to be more connected with friends,
whereas before maybe it was more about my Pisce's moon,

(12:38):
like very escapism, like want to be alone. Do you
find that too, like over the years, you've kind of
grown into different parts of your chart.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Absolutely, yeah. And it's even interesting because so you have
your birth chart, but certain parts of it are kind
of lying dormant, So there's all these latent possibilities, and
it's almost as if your birth trip comes this mine
field in a good way too. But you're, yeah, what
you said about Pluto's approaching your son, so you're that

(13:09):
it's coming online, it's being activated, and I see that
in you so much. So that's so cool that you
feel that. And then before that, like we've had all
those transits to Pisces with Neptune in Saturn and yeah,
so yeah, exactly, but there's always more for your soul
to evolve into, and so you're, yeah, the transits activate that.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
What's your when you're giving a reading? Like what placement
do you like to look at first in someone's chart?
Is there something where your eye immediately goes to that?

Speaker 3 (13:39):
So I really feel like at this point, Alice, I
bet you feel similarly. So let me know. I'm really
curious what you would say to that question too. But
it's really more so now the zoomed out kind of
approach where I see it and there's something that catches
my eye almost intuitively, but from more of an approach,

(14:01):
from like a spiritual perspective. The lunar nodes are always
something that I'm drawn to in every reading right away
because that speaks a lot to the soul's karmic past
and you know where you're headed in this lifetime. But
also just the sun moon rising I think often gets
that's something that just helps to anchor yourself to a chart,

(14:23):
and then it gets deeper from there too. But the
outer planets karmic aspects. Yeah, I mean there's it kind
of just all comes together.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Yeah, it's kind of looking at it and getting like
an intuitive vibe overall of how that is. It's interesting
how like as an astrologer, like intuition and the chart
work together at once. Like sometimes before reading, I'll just
like get a sense of like something I need to
tell that person, Like I'm like analyzing the chart, but
like maybe a random interpretation of a placement will come

(14:54):
to me that I like normally wouldn't tell someone else
that out a similar chart or something like that.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Oh that's so I believe that fully because you're I mean, Alice,
your chart is so you're so intuitive too, I mean
that's so real. Yeah, I mean that's a strong I
can see how I mean, even for me, I was
thinking about this actually when you said that because I
think it's also a really maybe it's kind of the
water moon. You know, you have a Piscey's moon, I

(15:21):
have a Scorpiod moon. I feel like, especially in readings
where it's that one to one emotional kind of connection,
it allows me to just that's where my intuition just
is activated so much too, So I feel like, and
that's true for a lot of people, but I see
that as for me something where when you're talking to

(15:42):
that person, it's cool how you'll get certain messages or
you'll start to say an interpretation, or the words come
out in a way that sometimes I'm like, is that
even me speaking? Because that's not something that like you
realize you're channeling something unique to that soul that needs
they need to hear that, and that where usually I
might phrase it differently.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
That's so interesting.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
I'm also just thinking about how all your Scorpio planets,
like you have Moon and Scorpio, I know you have
Jupiter and Scorpio like fall in the six house, and
that's kind of like that intuitive deeper connection comes through
in the type of work that you do, which is
six house. So it's like very literal in that way.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Yeah, that's very literal. I love when astrology does that
where you just feel that's very obvious the interpretation, like
it's so cool. How yeah, your chart can just manifest
in these ways, but you just see very obviously.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
And also one question I wanted to ask you about is,
like we've talked about this a bit before, is how
you people like wanting to tap into their intuition more
that can sometimes be seen by like certain chart placements
of like how you may have an easier time unlocking
like intuitive gifts or like listening to yourself more like

(16:58):
you've said before with like I think this is probably
due to like not only the Scorpio planets, but also
your twelfth house sun. How like you'll get a lot
of information or like foreshadowing type of things through dreams,
whereas I with Jupiter in my third house, I need
to be writing and like communicating with my self through

(17:21):
words on a page. Do you want to speak to
like how people might find like how they can tap
into their intuition by looking at their own chart.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Ooh yeah, I love that question. Oh yeah, I think
I mean even just backing up because I was just
talking about the moon and we were touching on that
because again that you can look there's so many different
things I would look to for intuition and how that
showed up because everyone is intuitive, everyone is psychic, Like
those are skills you can develop, like muscles. So I

(17:52):
don't feel like, oh, if you know, like I'm a
Scorpio moon, you're a Pisces moon. That doesn't mean that
you know, it's beyond just that, but that is a
really good place to start to look at your chart
to see the moon sign because that has such a
connection with your innermost self and where you're relate, you're
connected to the subconscious, and yeah, that's an awesome place

(18:14):
to start to develop almost the qualities of the sign
and that helps unlock your intuition. And yeah, and even
the moon's placement by house and like starting there, Like
I even think about in your chart, Alice, your moon
is in the eighth house, and that has such a

(18:34):
depth to it and just kind of I feel like
sometimes when I'm talking to you, you just have like
you see deeper than ordinarily someone might and you're just
able to kind of I don't know, you almost have
like this instinct about it too, And I think that's
your mars maybe in the Twelfth House where you just
have this kind of gut feeling of like, oh is
it this?

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Yeah, you know, that's very interesting. I was also going
at thinking like the Eighth House moon. I find too,
it's like the I don't know how to phrase this,
but I just like have such an interest in the
process of like both life and death and like how
we enter this world and how we leave it. I
don't know if that really ties back into what we

(19:14):
were saying about intuition, but kind of just like looking
at life is a bigger picture in that way.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
And even sometimes your moons placement can show you what
helps you tap into your intuition, but also the themes
that you're more intuitive about, so you might be more
intuitive about, like I don't know, with the Ape House,
births and deaths and those kind of themes might even
come up, or more intense emotional experiences or you know,

(19:43):
the psychology of a person, like all those aph House themes.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
Yeah, yeah, that's really interesting. Well, I love hearing it.
It's like so weird. As an astrologer, it's like hearing
someone else interpret your own chart. You see stuff you
normally wouldn't catch. I guess yeah, like the last thing
I'm gonna say too. I also for intuition, it's fun
to look to see where Neptune in Urinus are placed.
And it's interesting because obviously for both of us they're

(20:08):
in the same sign and house just based on.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
When we're born. But for yours, like you have that
channeling writing practice that you do almost is it not
every day that you do that?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
I do it.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
I was doing it more regularly when transit Saturn was
right on my moon, because I feel like I had
to for like mental sanity. But now I just feel
like more when I'm super emotional or there's a specific
problem going on, I'll.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Turn to like journaling and automatic kind of writing.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
M Yeah, yeah, because it's kind of a ritual at least,
you know. And that's the sixth house. I feel like
we're even the structure of Capricorn that you have Uranus
and Neptune placed and like, because I think it helps
almost to have sometimes the structure in that case for
your intuition to flow more easily, like a way of

(20:58):
activating it.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
And so notice like going back to a six house
like health and taking care of myself and not drinking
alcohol anymore. Helps me tune into my intuition, which could
be tied to six too.

Speaker 3 (21:13):
Yeah, big time. And also, I mean this is kind
of a side topic, but I felt, I mean, when
I stopped drinking a long while back, I also realized
something similarly. And it just feels like a lot of
people I've noticed that same theme where they stop drinking
and then they realized how much more intuitive they really are.

(21:37):
And I think a reason why I had drank so
much when I was younger, it was just because, yeah,
just kind of you don't know what to do with it,
like when you feel so deeply or when you have
such a strong intuition and you're like, where is that
coming from?

Speaker 2 (21:51):
What is this?

Speaker 3 (21:52):
You just almost kind of numb it out or block
it out through alcohol or you know, whatever that is
for you. So so yeah, it's kind of cool when
you start to embrace your intuition more and take care
of your health and you notice like, oh, it's all connected.
Like even though we're souls here in these human bodies,

(22:13):
you have to take care of your human body because
it's all in your connected.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
I love that. Yeah, I totally agree.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Like teens and twenties just did not want to be
connected to my emotions, Like it was either TV or
alcohol for me, just wanting to check out of my life.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
But also like because of that too, like when you
are drinking, you're kind of not in your body, you know,
like you're just not there, You're not checked in, so
it's almost like no one's home, you know. So anyway,
that's why I think too, a lot of people who
are very spiritual or very sensitive or you know, see
more than what the average person does. It like that's

(22:53):
why they're driven to maybe you know, less helpful forms
of dealing with that.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Yeah, and that's interesting, Like I feel like that's all
kind of tied into like six twelve house stuff in
the chart, and both of us have.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
A lot of that prevalent, yeah, because you're not taught
to deal with that stuff, and when you are. I remember,
even like when I was younger mentioning things and even now,
like when I tell someone I'm an astrologer, or when
I say things like I mean, you take it very normally.
But when I say, oh, yeah, like I saw this
in a dream and then it happened like normally, people
are like, oh, that's really freaky. You know, like that's

(23:31):
not normal, and yeah, so it's cool when you get
older and you're like, oh, you can develop these things
and it's very real. We just weren't taught how to
work with it and to actually develop your gifts because
they are gifts. But like, yeah, we're not taught that.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Like everyone has the ability. It's just about learning to
trust it. I guess that's something I learn as I
get older, Just learning to trust those like hits that
come in or synchronicities that happen that definitely aren't random.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Yeah, it's is.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Really cool and there's so many different tools to do that.
And I obviously we love astrology because it is one
of those tools where you can build this awareness to
pinpoint certain things that are coming up for you, like
whether it's about your life or your purpose or your
challenges that you face in life or whatever it is,
or intuition, like you can actually get information and then

(24:26):
start developing it in your real life. So it's such
a good tool. Actually, astrology, I feel like when it's
used as it's intended, it really can help guide you
and your intuition and just really anything. I mean, astrology
applies to all aspects of our lives.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah. I was also going to say there's like certain timing,
certain transits that come along where like leaning into that
part of yourself is a bigger theme. Like I know
you recently went through Jupiter going through your twelves house
when it was a tourus, and I have that transit
coming up like next month. I was like, Vaccine, I'm
freaking out about Jupiter in the twelfth house, can you

(25:03):
please give me some positive advice? And you were like, look,
you're going to become much more spiritual. But also like
Saturn and Pisces too, just like in general for everyone,
I feel like that's been a bigger focus since twenty
twenty three for like collective world.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Yeah, definitely, Saturn in Pisces is helping everyone across the
poort needing to deal with the kind of hidden emotions
or things that we've kind of tried to not deal
with or sweep under the rug, and just finding ways
to actually work with your emotions or work with your
spiritual connection too.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
So are there any other transits you notice besides I
guess Saturn em Pisces or Jupiter in your twelfth where
you have been called to like slow down and I
don't know, some maybe something difficult to happen in your
life where you've been like, oh, I need to focus
on my inner self because stuff's really not happening happening externally.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Yeah. Absolutely, so the you know, like in spiritual astrology,
i'd call it the soul houses, but the fourth House,
the Eighth House, and the twelfth House whenever there's especially
an outer planet transit, but even Mars going through there,
which Alice, you've had that recently.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
I hate Mars, like in any Mars, Fourth House I
think I hate it most of all.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
The Twelfth House is pretty difficult too. It's a toss up.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Three ways die. Yeah, I think those transits they always
throw you back on yourself though, definitely, and they ask
you to look within and to process hidden emotions or
things going on beneath the surface. And also in turn,
when you are dealing with that, then you're you're being
more authentic to yourself and you're actually facing your truth,

(26:48):
and I think that contributes to feeling more spiritual and
connected to yourself rather than being distracted, you know, by
the noise of what's going on around you.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Yeah, Like, even though those transits are always so difficult.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
In the moment when they're over, I'm.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
Like, Okay, I actually am glad that happened, Like I
wouldn't have developed that tool for coping with my mental
health or like, for instance, like I only got that
journaling practice of writing to myself and listening to what
my intuition would say back because Saturn was in my
eighth house on my moon and I was like very

(27:23):
in a bad emotional place. So it's like that you've
got to have that transit to trigger you to learn
something important about you.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Yeah, that is such a rough chancet that you've been having, Aliside.
I remember when I had Saturn crossover my moon and
then at a different time in my life when it
went through my eighth house, tons of grief like that,
those separately merit some checking in for friends, but those

(27:52):
two on top of each other are like, Wow, you know,
like you've been through a lot.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Yeah, I totally agree.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
I wanted to ask you, like, I feel like it's
kind of misunderstood when I say, and I'm an astrologer,
maybe this is for you to like people just assume
we just do readings and that's like all there is
to work. I wanted to ask what your favorite part
about being an astrologer is, Like, what's your favorite part
of your work?

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Like what are you like doing the most?

Speaker 3 (28:22):
Oh I love this. Okay, you have to answer this
one too. It's so funny because I feel like I'm
remembering back to be at our podcast. We'd always like
share and I'm like, oh, you're such a good interviewer. Else, yeah,
I would say so. For me, I really love giving readings,
like when i'm I have seasons of life where I'm
more excited about that than others. I know we've talked

(28:45):
about that too, and it shows up in your chart.
But yeah, you know, I like giving readings when especially
it's someone who's super open minded and you know, like
that's always fun, or returning client this is so fun.
But I think what I really love, and I think

(29:05):
we both do, is just teaching others how to use astrology,
and for me in like a very spiritual way of
being able to look at your chart and be like, oh,
that's why I'm spiraling right now, or that's when that's
the light at the end of the tunnel, like this
is when it's the right time for this, Like I
can fully be present in this moment because you know,

(29:26):
just being able to teach people that, because that's something
that has helped me in my life. I know you too,
out of so, yeah, I love teaching, whether it's like
YouTube or Instagram or like horoscopes or or my astrology school.
Of course. Yeah, I think that's my favorite because it
just feels so empowering to get to share that because

(29:48):
once you learn astrology, it is that skill for life
that you can have to put in your toolbox to
always come back to if you need still a little
extra TLC.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
You can't unsee.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
I like that you said the teaching part because I
kind of feel like sometimes there'll be moments over the
years while get kind of lost or like stuck in
comparison mode, and at those times it is helpful to remember,
like my purpose is to teach. It's not to get
a lot of followers on social media. It's not to
get attention in this way. It's like to teach and
share knowledge. So it's always helpful to come back to that.

(30:22):
And that's where like I don't feel as lost or
directionless in my business.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
Oh my goodness, totally yeah, I same. I mean it's
really helpful too when you see like your purpose in
a chary, like you just mentioned the teaching part, which
I see so clearly for you. Yeah, and you're like, oh,
it's it's bigger than me. It's not even something that
you can control. I mean, you're not going to be

(30:48):
satisfied if you're living out of your purpose. So it
helps to look at your astrology or feel into it
and like feel what that is for you. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
I think I like writing the mode thought of what
I do, like teaching through writing, whereas I kind of
feel like you have a better skill of like teaching
through talking and like courses and stuff. Sometimes I feel
like I can't express myself fully unless it's in writing.
But I guess you could see that from my chart
with like Jupiter ruling the North's node and it's placed

(31:19):
in the third house.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
But yeah, well, I feel like you're very good at it,
but you're humble, humble about it maybe or you don't
see it. Maybe maybe it's the chiren playing with you, yeah,
on your sundant, but yeah, definitely with words. I mean,
Jupiter in your third house is really strong. Yeah. I like,
I feel like what's really fun for me is when

(31:43):
I get to especially connect with people like with words,
for sure. I prefer just like talking like this, and
especially when I get to top one on one with
people are in small groups like in SaaS. When I
get to do that, it's really fun because I feel
like I get to know the person and it's yeah,
you just get to connect with them and then know

(32:05):
exactly what they need to hear because everyone is like
they like the way that you need to learn astrology
is almost different for each person. I also was a teacher.
Maybe that's why.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Yeah, you were a teacher before you were an astrologer.
You taught elementary school, right, yes, yeah, was there a
specific grade you taught?

Speaker 3 (32:24):
So I taught students from two years old? Oh my god,
they're high school like different grades, but mostly it was
like elementary school and like intermediate. Yeah, but I've also
taught like this is such a Gemini rising thing. I'm like,
I've also taught adults, Like I've taught adults English at
one point in my life and I loved that or like,

(32:45):
you know, different things.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
So oh I love that.

Speaker 1 (32:47):
That's your ninth thousan Midhaven too. It's just like born
to be a teacher.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Yeah, I love teaching. I love it. And it's funny
because I was a teacher of languages, so I was
teaching English and then I later taught Spanish. At one
point I was teaching Greek and Latin. Oh good, so
it's very funny. And then now I'm teaching astrology, which
I always you know, it's a language, and now of
itself it's this archetypal symbolic language, but it is a language.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Oh my god, I didn't know that about Greek and Latin.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
That you was like a brief. I'm giving this alf
way too much credit. But yeah, it was like a
summer thing that I did.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
That's so cool.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
I guess I wanted to talk also about your Saturn
return because you have Saturn and Pisces. It's a is
it eight degrees of Pisces?

Speaker 3 (33:40):
Yeah? Nine nine?

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Okay, so you it was probably most intense for you
in like twenty twenty three, twenty twenty four, but it's
still been going on, like while Saturn it's been in
Pisce season. Now Saturn's finally moving to Aries for about
this summer, so it's kind of a wrapping up for you.
How did your Saturn return go overall? Like, are there
bigger themes that you encountered or I don't know, maybe

(34:05):
just like advice to people, let's start with like what
what did you encounter?

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Okay, so I feel like, I mean, the main event
was definitely getting married during my Saturn return, but like
that's interessian.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Wait also for contacts, you have Saturn impisces in your
tenth house, yea, But Saturn rules your ninth house and
your Aquarius midhaven there and your eighth house of Capricorn. Yes,
so like all three of those houses were involved maybe
with themes.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Yes, the trifecta yeah. Yeah. And I really noticed most
obviously though across the board. I noticed that it almost
it was interesting and experience with because I think for
me my whole life and especially having Saturn where I
do too. But I just noticed I've always been almost
overly responsible, like very keen into like that Saddurn, like

(34:57):
achieving getting straight a's, like working for the next thing,
Like I've always appreciated that, and my Sadder return almost
made me see the ways in which I was almost
like being overly responsible. So it kind of made me
peel back, like, wait, what do I want to do
more for fun? How can I just you know, like

(35:20):
seeing joy as a worthy pursuit. And maybe it's just
me now living in Spain where I'm just kind of
outside of, like you know, the kind of race that
the US can kind of get trapped into sometimes of
working that work culture so much. But yeah, I think
my sad return has been like what do you enjoy
doing for fun? What is it you really want to do?

(35:41):
And how can you let yourself just be more rather
than trying to always yeah, try, you know, I don't know,
almost holding myself to such a high standard or a
rigid schedule or that kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Oh I love that like kind of finding a better
balance and like work doesn't need to be your entire identity.

Speaker 3 (36:02):
Yeah, arguably, I think I've almost went like be very
like true to the scorpion on me, like almost too
far to the other end where I'm like, Okay, I
need to get back into the court. Let's schedule again,
Like I do.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
I feel like that's kind of like the Mars retrograde though,
like you needed to slow down during the Mars retrograde
and now maybe you feel like more like okay, time
to get back in action.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Yes, yeah, I definitely do. I mean, yeah, it's been
fun to do more readings, like getting back to like
my monthly emails and like things like that.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
So yeah, I kind of feel even though this happened,
I guess before your Saturn return, I do feel like
maybe the Saturn return was tied into relocating to live
in Spain and developing new life there, even though that
technically happened while Saturn was in your ninth house, I believe.
Do you kind of feel like that's played a role too,

(36:55):
and like this is my new home and this is
my new life.

Speaker 3 (36:59):
Yeah, definitely the I think also along with just your
sadder return, in general, everyone kind of experiences the sense
of just wanting to establish your next. It sounds intense,
but your next like thirty year trajectory, like, oh wait,
let's settle back into ourselves. What is it that we

(37:20):
really want? What are our long term goals? Like are
you happy with where you're at, how you're living each day?
Like what do you want to set And it almost
feels I get your sad return. It becomes before that
you just kind of are going about your up day
to day life and then all of a sudden, the heaviness,
the weight of Saturn, the reality sets in and you

(37:40):
feel this sense of wait, this is my life. I'm
living my life right now. Is this what I want
my life to be?

Speaker 2 (37:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (37:47):
And how can I, yeah, just live more true to myself?
So I think a lot of a lot of my
Sadder return also has been that, not just work, although
that has been a big theme of it in my
tenth House, but also just yeah, just being more at
peace with myself and like where I'm headed and reevaluating
that and making sure that every day kind of adds

(38:09):
to that where I want to be.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Yeah, I totally feel that.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
I also feel like my own Saturn return helped me
to stop like procrastinating on what I actually wanted to do, like,
which is like write and share through writing the most
and like during the Saturn Return, I developed such a
solid writing practice that is continued after the Saturn return
has ended. And I never had that before because I

(38:35):
was so scared to sit down at the computer and
actually write, Like there was just so much dread and
like procrastination associated with it. And like post Saturn return,
it's just like a routine, like I just sit down
every single day and write.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
Oh I love that for you that's so beautiful. You're
living out your purpose, that's so beautiful. Do you, Alice,
did you notice during your Saturn return, like I know
there are more then people have heard all about sadder returns,
but did you also know this that sense of like
almost like this creeping I don't want to say panic,
but this sense of like I think as your sound

(39:10):
return is around age thirty, where you feel like, Okay,
what is it that I want? You know, and seeing
it kind of crystallize work.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
I do feel like there's this sense of mortality of like, oh,
I'm getting older and I'm not gonna live forever. And
I think that kind of pushes you to be like, wait,
what do I want? Like in that sense, I feel
like that's almost the catalyst with sadder and is like
the aging factor. And then it's I get you to
be like I can't waste any more time. I want

(39:41):
to make these changes for myself or I want to
take this area of my life more seriously.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Yeah, And I have you always dreamt of being a
writer when you were a kid too?

Speaker 1 (39:52):
Yeah, I mean like I've I've always been a huge reader,
and I feel like I like authors are like celebrities.
For me, like I look up to them so much,
and so it got me to kind of face that
dream more.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
I love that, Yeah, because I was I was thinking
too that you're What you shared about that made me
think because I always thought when I was younger, I
wanted to I didn't think I would live abroad, like
in a different country, but I always wanted to visit
a different country. So it's interesting how but I just
didn't think that was possible for me. I think just
because I grew up in such a small town. I

(40:28):
was like, you know, I had a map over my bed,
and I was so excited about like learning languages and stuff,
but like it just didn't seem real. And so it
is interesting living in a different country now, like some
kind of full circle moment or something that you thought
was like blocked for you, but actually you just had
to wait for your timing to kick in.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Well, we were talking about that right before we started recording,
and about how you've noticed with Jupiter going through your
first house over the past like two three decades, that
it's made it's like circled back to your first house.
How there's always been this reiteration of having a really
positive experience abroad or now actually living abroad, can you

(41:11):
speak to like what you have noticed with that transit? Yeah,
that was funny. I was just getting really nerdy, like
going on what those like. And I think anyone could
relate to this.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
Who's watching who like loves astrology where sometimes you just
go into a rabbit hole of looking at past transits.
But yeah, whenever I noticed before this, I was looking
up Jupiter transits to my first house, the one like
twenty four years ago now when I was really little.
Was the first time to the month when Jupiter crossed

(41:42):
my ascendant that I went for the first time out
of the country and I visited Mexico, which was so
cool to me. And then I didn't go back for
a very long time, like to anywhere outside of Wisconsin.
And then yeah, and then fast forward to the next
pass of Jupiter over my sundant. That was when I
decided to go study abroad wearing that alex. Yeah, and

(42:06):
then now I'm living in a different country, so in Spain.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
It's so cool.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
And do you feel like with I mean, even though
you moved to Spain before Jupiter was in Gemini on
your ascendant, I think you moved when Jupiter was in aries, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Your eleventh house.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
Do you feel now that it's in your first house,
maybe more incorporated in the culture, or like this is
really my home in a way you didn't feel when
Jupiter wasn't in the first house.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
Yeah. I think when I first moved here, I was
just kind of it was very intimidating. I knew Spanish,
but not as well as I do now, And I
think just it almost felt to me that I was
there temporarily, like I wasn't fully moved here. But now
we're even looking to find a place here, and so

(42:54):
it just feels much more permanent. And yeah, it just
feels like, oh, yeah, this is this is home now,
this is where we live. So yeah, it's just enjoying life.
I Jupiter in the first house is such a fun
transit because or if it's not a fun transit, it's
usually pushing you to be more present and embrace you know,

(43:15):
just joy and having fun and relaxing more.

Speaker 2 (43:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
I can't wait for Jupiter to go into Leo, although
we got to get through Jupiter and cancer first.

Speaker 3 (43:26):
Yeah, you have to earn it. Did you better in
the first house transit?

Speaker 2 (43:30):
Here? We come twelve holes, but it really is.

Speaker 3 (43:34):
It is true. Like I've been thinking about a lot
about that too, because when you have a transit go
through the twelfth House and then the first house, it
is like everyone looks forward to first house transits and
that sounds like Jupiter in the first because it's just this, Yeah,
a new beginning forms of that transit going all the
way through your houses. But in order for there to

(43:57):
be something new, often you have to make room for it.
And that's the twelfth House transit before, where it's like, Okay,
what are you not? What are you running from here?
What has been hidden to you? And it's not always
fun to look at, but it's so rewarding, Like the
extent to which you do that work in the twelfth House,
you're so rewarded on the other side in.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
Twelve I was being about in Dean's too, and like,
what's not serving you as you in er prepare to
enter this next new chapter?

Speaker 3 (44:25):
Yeah, yeah, like what's hidden from you? And like what
you've been hiding from yourself? I thinks, just like the
more transits that I have to the twelfth House, I
realized that about myself, Like, oh, I've not wanted to
look at that. It's not enjoyable.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Yeah, it always makes me realize like I am my
own worst enemy, Like why do I do this to myself?
Especially like having had that Mars retrograde in my twelve
I was like just understanding how my behavior makes people
react to me in a certain way, and it's like
it's not their fault.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
It's like, actually I have a part to play too.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (44:58):
Same, It's always always about ourselves, and that's the kind
of depressing reality sometimes when you realized I could have
made this so much easier on myself, Like, yeah, I
relate to that.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
Speaking of transits, are there any that you're like obsessed with?
Like every time that transit comes along, you're like, I
really like that.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
I'm so excited for it.

Speaker 3 (45:20):
Oh, I love that, Like maybe you should start what
is your favorite transit? Do you have one else? I
hear about to take a glass of water?

Speaker 2 (45:28):
No, it's fine.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
Jupiter in the ninth house, like, hands down, always the
best time. And I also think Jupiter in the fifth
house too. I love when Jupiter's in those parts of
my chart. And then I also I'm just thinking in
terms of shorter transits, like I love when the Sun
is just in that top part of the chart every year,

(45:50):
like ninth, tenth, eleventh house, Like that's always my favorite
three months out of the year Aries Taurus Gemini, and
I do I mean Mars is in my first house
right now. I do love having Mars in the first house,
even though, like Mars is a molific planet, you wouldn't
normally think you want it in the first house. I
just do find there's a lot more energy and enthusiasm

(46:11):
when it's in Leo.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
Oh yeah. And also just your personal magnetism. It's such
a powerhouse of energy that you get off, do you
know yours hut Yeah, yeah, Well, well I was thinking
to even when you were sharing that, like liking those
jupitter trans in your fifth and you're ninth, I was thinking,
how Leo Rising, that is of you to like those

(46:33):
transits and the ones you mentioned, because it's like in
the sun at the top of the chart, like in
the spotlight.

Speaker 1 (46:40):
Yeah yeah, like the Leo Reson wants the spotlight, so
I want the transits that give me the spotlight.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
Whereas I was thinking off of that, I was thinking
about how right now it's tourist season, which is my
birthday season, and I look forward to this season all
year because it's the one season thirty day period where
I fully give myself permission to just totally unplug and
not have to like fully hide and Hermit, which is
the twelfth house son, and I love that, like it

(47:07):
brings me life to just be fully Yeah, Like even
you know an ort oracle card that I pulled for
the season with Solitude, and it's just like that energy
of being in my own energy. I just love that
so much. So when I have transits that give me
permission almost to be in my own energy, I really, yeah,

(47:28):
savor it.

Speaker 1 (47:29):
Oh that's a nice perspective because I guess it really
does depend on like what natal placements do you have
in certain parts of the chart, and if you're going
to enjoy that transit more.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
Yeah, And to your question, I would say, yeah, I mean,
you know, I love a good Jupiter transit too. Even
Saturn I am appreciating a lot more because although it
is difficult, it's kind of what we talked about at
the start. It brings that, you know, all those heavier transits,
although at first they're really abrupt or in some way

(48:01):
challenging on the other side, especially with Staturn, it's not
just destructive, it's constructive. You're actually building and working towards
something that you can see after that transit. Yeah, so
I really like, I don't know, just some of the
larger transits, or especially when you see something like I
love it when I'm reading someone's chart and they have

(48:22):
something like Urinus conjunct their Sun or Neptune into their
mood and although that isn't necessarily an easy transit, they're
in that reading for a reason because there's so much shifting,
there's so much potential, and when you do know astrology,
you can see where you want to siphon off that
energy and the power. And that's where it becomes that

(48:45):
cocreation where you're like, Okay, it's gonna be manifest one whey
or another, and you kind of nudge it toward the
higher possibilities and take the high road rather than just
letting it, you know, go, you call the shadow route.

Speaker 1 (49:00):
I feel like in readings, I've been getting a lot
of people with like late mutable signed placements like as
Saturn and the northern South nodes come up on those
placements in their chart. I'm like, Okay, I get why
you're in a reading, Like things are kind of hard
right now. It's a state of transition and the effort
and work.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
Yeah, it's it's really interesting when you start to see
those patterns. Like there was a while there where I
was getting so many Libra risings in a row, like
every week at least a couple of people who had
Libra risings. So yeah, it's interesting when you see and
you see the transits and you're like that makes sense
because I like it checks out with the transits.

Speaker 1 (49:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (49:41):
And also eclipses. I love eclipses too.

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
I was gonna say, like you probably got the Libra risings.

Speaker 1 (49:47):
I'm sure you know this, like because the first and
seventh house eclipses. Like it's kind of like, wait, how
is my life changing? I feel like I'm a new
person kind of.

Speaker 3 (49:55):
Thing, and I've already seen the shift and now it's like,
oh a lot more for example, Virgo rising, Yeah, Yeah, yeah,
that's it.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
Something I think about a lot is just how like
a rising sign will go through like a certain phase
at a certain time and then suddenly they're out of
it or life gets easier, but then life always comes
back around. I just feel like life goes in these
like waves where like you're up and then you're down,
but it'll always it'll always like get better again.

Speaker 3 (50:23):
Yeah, And that is so comforting to know because it's
so it's so difficult to come to that conclusion. We're
near in the thick of it to see that and like,
oh life, it's not always going to be this way
and everything is temporary, but it really is so true.
And that's another reason why we both love astrology so
much because it does help you to remember that and

(50:44):
keep that in the forefront of your perspective. And and also
I think to see how you do have a certain power,
not in what happens to you unfortunately, right we can't
always control that, but in how you do respond or
what you choose to do as your next step, or
you know, like there's that part that you can focus

(51:07):
on more and just feel in a better place even.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
And just knowing like, Okay, I'm in this time period
right now, like what can I do while this transit's
still going on. It's not going to last forever, but
like let's try to work with it in the moment.

Speaker 3 (51:22):
Yeah, And I think also just just astrology in general,
another thing that brings up Alice is I'm a very
anxious person, I would say, but as my default, and
I think.

Speaker 2 (51:32):
You are too.

Speaker 3 (51:34):
Yeah, And I think astrology or different spiritual tools can
help you to make sure that you're not. Like you
can fully relax in this moment just knowing you're not
missing out on anything else because you know what to
look for and you know what opportunities or potentials this
month holds, and you can kind of be looking out

(51:55):
for them but not wishing you were in a different
phase of your life at the same time and just
kind of not being fully here because yeah, you're not
worried about it.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
Like if I ran my own business in another industry
and didn't know astrology, like I don't know how I
would be functioning, because astrology like really helps you recognize
like when it's time for your own business to grow
and like you to get attention and opportunities versus when
it's going to be a slower period and there's not
as much happening. And I think if I didn't know astrology,

(52:28):
that would be so scary.

Speaker 3 (52:30):
Yeah, And that is so true. And also just because
I feel like that right now where I'm like, oh,
this is so nice, I can relax, I cannot stress,
and then I'm sure when Jupiter goes into my second
house exist somewhere maybe like yeah, And it helps to
make sure that you're not burning yourself out, and especially
when you're doing something like astrology or you're in a

(52:51):
more spiritual minded field or one where like giving readings
is a lot emotionally energetically, and yeah, you're just you're
just making sure that you're also taking care of yourself
and make your personal hygiene really like your sole hygiene
that you feel like.

Speaker 1 (53:08):
Yeah, I was gonna ask you, are there any transits
that you're really excited about in twenty twenty five? Ooh, yeah,
you know how it's so much difficult astrology in twenty
twenty five, But I'm like, there's also stuff to be
excited about that's gonna affect.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
People in different ways.

Speaker 3 (53:26):
Yeah, I think like personal to my chart as a
Gemini rising, I know I've told you this before. I'm
very excited for the Uranus into Gemini transit. So I've
been looking forward to that personally for a long time
and I'm excited for it to be out of my
twelve puts as well.

Speaker 1 (53:43):
I know what do you expect with like urin us
entering your first house.

Speaker 2 (53:48):
I don't know, Like what are you?

Speaker 1 (53:51):
I guess you can't fully understand what a transit will be,
but like, are there any like guesses you think it
might be?

Speaker 3 (53:58):
Yeah, I mean it's funny because with Uranus it's always
expect the unexpected. It like all transit, it's always funny.
But I think so probably whatever I say won't happen.
But yeah, I just think in general, I do see
when Uranus is in the first house, there's this level
of authenticity a person individually can reach just because they're

(54:22):
so much more in touch with themselves, and it gives
you so much more permission to be yourself. You can't
not like you. You have to just put yourself out
there more. And I think in experimenting and just being
in more in touch with what you need to do,
like you're in your own bubble. I feel like when
Uranus is in the first house, and if you're not,

(54:42):
that bubble gets popped very quickly. So yeah, I think
just the freedom that Uranus in the first house ushers
and and feeling less harmity.

Speaker 1 (54:55):
Yeah, like freedom to be yourself. I feel like you
not caring what other people will think much just like
this is me take it orly.

Speaker 3 (55:02):
But yeah, which I feel like I do have to
a certain degree. But Uranus in the first house is
just it's yeah, it's just more of that. There's always
going to be deeper layers to on Furral, so I'm
excited for that.

Speaker 2 (55:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
How do you feel about Saturn going to Ares?

Speaker 3 (55:22):
I feel good about it. I feel good of him
where like with our charts on the same page there. Yeah,
I mean definitely excited to have that my saddern return
wrapped up, but also just having it in Aries just
feels to me and my personal chart like easier.

Speaker 2 (55:43):
What about you?

Speaker 1 (55:44):
Out of like the emotion of Pisces, it's just brought
like heaviness to emotional matters.

Speaker 3 (55:51):
Yeah, I feel like Saturn in Pisces just felt very
out of just in general, for everyone felt very out
of its comfort zone. And Saturn's doing an excellent job there,
but I think it's time to just it's like maybe
more comfortable waters for Saturn.

Speaker 1 (56:08):
It's so interesting when Saturn moves to a new sign
in a new house, I feel it like the day
it happens, I'm like, there's a noticeable shift of like,
okay that this area of my life, Like why is
there suddenly this like Saturn influence here?

Speaker 3 (56:23):
Not?

Speaker 1 (56:23):
Why do I feel like heavy about it or like
more concerned about this part of my life?

Speaker 2 (56:28):
It's very quick to switch.

Speaker 3 (56:31):
Yeah, I mean, and that makes so much sense because
you are an Aquarius sun, and so I feel like
you just have like such a connection that I feel
that in some ways too, But I feel like you
feel it more okay, interesting more immediately.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
Would you say you feel like mercury transits more because
you're a Gemini rising?

Speaker 3 (56:52):
Yeah, I actually I notice like mercury retrogrades. I actually now,
and this is the funny thing we keep talking about,
but like I actually look forward to them because they
always are this very I don't know, just a I'm
very aware of myself at that time in my own
personal patterns. So I think I look forward to them
now to just get myself the space to actually deal

(57:14):
with that and kind of structure my life around them
because I'm so I have that time to self reflect more.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
Yeah, because it's like so tied in with identity, whereas
I'm just like, oh my god, mercury retrograde.

Speaker 3 (57:27):
Yeah, it's like bounce, what is your what transit are
you looking forward to?

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Though, I think Sadurn leaving the eighth house like very
very excited for that. I mean I'm looking forward to
like further in the future, like Jupiter going into Leo
eclipses and Leo and Aquarius. But I know I have
to do maybe more internal work with Jupiter in the
twelfth and the North Note in the eighth, But I

(57:53):
do think it'll feel less heavy with Saturn not in
the eighth anymore too.

Speaker 3 (57:59):
Yeah, it's interesting said that too, because I do find
transits in general, like Saturn to the eighth feels very
dark and heavy, even Saturn in the fourth, but I
feel like the twelfth, I don't know. I mean they're
not all not my first pick, but but yeah, there
is those certain just emotional heaviness and like deep emotions

(58:21):
what the eighth House does.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
Yeah, because I just find with Saturn in general, it
just like makes you take a way closer look at
something and like where have you not been facing the
reality in that part of your life? So when it's
in a house like the eighth, it's like just that
way closer look at like mental health than maybe like
controlling patterns and all these difficult parts of your life

(58:44):
you really don't want to face.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
Yeah, and also just the eighth House. It deals with
intimacy and intimate partnership. But I feel like what doesn't
get talked about enough are transits through the eighth You
feel that planet you're almost in, really shipped to that
very intimately while it's there. So like you've been getting
to know Saturn and your internal Saturn lessons and really

(59:10):
intimately over the past couple of years.

Speaker 1 (59:12):
That's a really interesting perspective. Yeah, I'm glad it's.

Speaker 3 (59:16):
Ending all me a lot lighter.

Speaker 2 (59:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (59:21):
Well, I think that's all the questions I had for you.
This was such an interesting conversation. Like I loved everything
we ended up talking about. I didn't plan for some
of it, but I love the direction this one in.

Speaker 3 (59:33):
Yeah, I feel like we were just flowing.

Speaker 1 (59:36):
Well before we go, I want you to shout out,
like where people can find you, what you're doing. I
know you briefly mentioned like your core SAS SAS. I
don't know if you want to share more about that
or where people can find you.

Speaker 3 (59:50):
Yeah, of course, So Yeah, SAS or Spiritual Astrology School
is my online school where I teach spiritual astrology, so
you learn how to read birth charts, trains, it's some
more all in one, very in depth the course. So yeah,
the program, I run it once or twice a year,
so the next time I'll run that. The door is

(01:00:11):
open in August for the fall semesters, so if anyone's entested,
would love to have you join. Yeah, and everything you
can find on Maxine Luthia dot com or you can
follow me so it's m A X I N E
l u Zia.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
Okay, I'll put all this in the episode description too,
but highly recommend Maxine's course. I did a retreat in Italy,
an astrologery retreat back in twenty twenty three, and several
people on that retreat had done your course and they
were like raving about it. And now I think one
of them is shout out, Caitlin, if you're listening to this,
is a professional astrologer because of your course, which is cool.

Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
Yeah. Oh I love that. Yeah, it's it's really really fun.
I love that. That's kind of it's become just my
where I focus all my energy, you know, I feel
like everyone as an astrology you kind of find that
place where you just want to put all of your
energy into. But yeah, so that's why I do. And
I also have, of course, like free stuff on YouTube

(01:01:11):
and Instagram, and I have all of that on my website.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
Too many different pots. You have your.

Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
Yes, gemin handby it's like what do you want? Here's
like that mostly employing.

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Okay, well, this was an amazing conversation and we'll obviously
catch up soon, but thank you for coming. You so
much else, thanks for having me Climbvaccine nine
