How are you Doing?
Well, let's get into thescience and the strategy behind
next-gen body contouring,including cryo.
You got some machines coming.
Tell us about it.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
I do I do Tomorrow,
in fact, right, you know.
So, when you're working out,you know, you always hear people
say like, hey, like I want tolose that fat on my stomach or I
want to lose like that fatpocket over here, you know, and
your personal trainer will tellyou like, yeah, we know we can't
really do like targeted fatloss and that sort of a thing.
We actually can and we actuallyhave the technology that we can

do it.
It actually involves twodifferent types of technologies
that we have here at the AtlantaWellness Clinic.
So the first is our cryotherapydevice, and the way that it
works is it actually freezes thefat, right?
So if you're somebody who'skind of fairly close to your
weight but no matter what,through like diet and exercise,
you know you've got that fupa,that stomach, you know, whatever
(01:54):
, wherever those fat pockets are, we can freeze the fat.
So the device, you know,freezes the fat and then, over a
period of like days and weeks,the fat is permanently gone.
It uses your body's naturallymphatic system.
So we freeze it to the pointwhere it's so cold and it
doesn't take very long, right?
I mean we're talking, you know,like a minute or two, right?
(02:16):
And so over a series ofsessions.
But it freezes the fat.
The fat becomes destroyed, itenters into your lymphatic
system and then you know, aslong as you're doing the things
you know that you're supposed to, it flushes, you know again
over weeks and then sometimesmonths for some people, but it
flushes through the system.
Now, when we flip to the EMSside and we actually do both,

we'll do both for our clients,right?
So the EMF and the RFelectrical muscle stimulation
it's going to help build thatmuscle as well as burn the fat.
So now we've just frozen it,now we're melting it and we
really are like pushing it intothe lymphatic system as quickly
as possible.
But the electrical musclestimulation is going to give you
those contractions.

So think crunches, think squats, think you know those kinds of
like contractions that you do.
It's going to do above andbeyond what you can naturally do
.
You know when you exercise onyour own.
So, for instance, you know whenyou exercise on your own.
So, for instance, you know wetell our patients, in a 30
minute session you're going toget the equivalent of 20,000
contractions on your abs, onyour thighs, you know, on your

buttocks, on your hamstrings,right, whatever body part that
it is that you're, that you'retargeting.
So these two, these two kind oftechnologies working together
give you that synergistic youknow body contouring.
These two kind of technologiesworking together give you that
synergistic you know bodycontouring, body sculpting that
you were talking about earlier.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
So my first question
is does?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
any of it hurt.
No, no, it's cold.
Right, it's cold.
And so you know what peoplewill tell you and we have a lot
of patients that are goingthrough it right now.
You know, because it's summerand everybody's trying to get
ready but what a lot of themwill tell you, especially like
the very first time goingthrough it.
You know the cold does takeyour breath away because it's
cold, it's really really cold.
It can get up to about minus180 degrees.
(03:58):
So it is really really cold,but it's not completely, it's
not uncomfortable.
And again, you know we'reswiping the skin, we're not
swiping it for 30 minutes.
You know a single session whenit comes to cryotherapy,
depending upon the number ofbody parts we're talking 90
seconds, maybe two minutes,right, depending upon the
session.
When it comes to the EMS, thesame question applies, right,
(04:20):
does it hurt?
No, those contractions don'thurt.
We can go as high, we can go aslow as whatever you're
comfortable with.
And then what's nice about thedevice is when you think about
when you work out, right, whenyou're lifting weights and
you're exercising, the very nextday you feel stiff and you feel
sore.
Well, with our device, itactually breaks up the lactic
acid.
So, as it's doing thosecontractions in between, it's
(04:42):
also breaking up the lactic acidso that you're not feeling sore
.
Right, you don't feel likeyou've just done 20,000
contractions, right, so you'renot feeling sore.
And it's so funny, because didit do anything?
I didn't feel it.
That's the point, right, we'rebreaking up that lactic acid in
between so that you don't feelso uncomfortable for the next
several days and weeksthereafter.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Sounds like the way
to go.
How many sessions does a clientusually come for before they
start to see some real changes?
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Yeah, so it really
depends on the person.
Every person is different.
We've got some people who willdo both the cryo as well as the
EMS.
They'll do as few as four right, and typically for those
individuals maybe they're reallyclose to their body weight.
But with the cryo, after youknow three or four sessions you
could easily be down a fewinches.
Right, and we've seen that.
(05:31):
We've seen those results and sothat is something that we
monitor.
But we do have some patientswho have a little bit more to
lose.
So some will get six sessions,some will get eight, some will
get 10.
Many stay on maintenancebecause they want to maintain
those results.
But it just varies person byperson.
So you really have to come in,we have to take a look at, kind
of like, where you are in yourhealth journey.
(05:51):
But it does vary for everybody.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Is that why you
suggest the cryo in conjunction
with the EMS or the RF forfaster or more thorough?
Speaker 3 (06:03):
results, absolutely,
absolutely.
We do have some people who onlydo the cryo, but that's because
they're active on their own,but almost all of our patients
will do both and certainly youwill get the best results.
The way to get the best and thefastest results.
We obviously have the tools,but you still have to do your
part right, and so the numberone thing that we tell people is
one you have to drink yourwater right.
(06:25):
So we're talking a couple ofliters a day, and so we ask
people, even before you come in,make sure you're fairly
hydrated, drink at least a literof water before you come in and
then continue thereafter.
The second thing is we ask formovement, and so we're not
asking for a lot of movement.
We're not asking you to go tothe gym and work out like for
hours, we're talking maybe 10,15 minutes per day.
And the reason for that againis that we're trying to not only

flush kind of the fat thatwe've just destroyed, we're
trying to get it into yourlymphatic system as quickly as
possible so that you caneliminate it.
So between the water and thenthe exercise, you know those two
things will happen.
And then the third thing thatwe ask is like look, you know
you got to maintain your weight,right.
So what we don't want you to dois, you know you come in and
then you know, a few weeks lateryou know you gain 10 pounds,
(07:07):
right, because the fat, eventhough it's destroyed, those fat
cells that remain, they canexpand and fat can show up in
other places that weren'ttreated right.
So it is important you know tobe able to do those three things
.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
I love this idea
because, you know, I've worked
in office environments with lotsof women, so whenever you get a
group of women together, weightis going to come up and they go
.
I just want to be skinny and Igo.
Do you want to be skinny or doyou want to lose maybe the
little flab up under your arm?
Or do you want a flatterstomach?
Or do you want toned thighs?
And so this isn't just thisbroad idea of losing weight.
(07:41):
It's targeting those areas thatyou want to see changes in so
that you can sculpt the bodythat you're looking for.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Yeah, absolutely, and
it's so funny that you bring
that up.
Almost everybody that comes into our clinic to lose weight
they usually talk about aspecific body part that they're
looking to lose the fat.
Somebody will come in and say,hey, you know, I want to lose
weight, but I only want to loseit in my stomach, or I want to
lose it in my thighs, that sortof a thing.
And so you know, when it comesto weight loss it is very
(08:11):
difficult to say, like you know,I want to lose.
You know, you know, justthrough diet and exercise I just
want to lose in those places.
But with these technologies wecan help with the targeted fat
reductions that people arelooking for.
