Francisco Tario, es el seudónimo utilizado por Francisco Peláez, quien pese a permanecer en la sombra durante varias décadas debido al carácter excéntrico de su vida y obra, actualmente está considerado como uno de los grandes escritores mexicanos del siglo XX. La editorial Lectorum publicó en 2004 sus cuentos completos.
