Do you feel like you're not enough? In this episode I provide strategies to overcome feeling like you aren't enough. It's important to find evidence to support the belief that you are enough because if you currently don't feel like you're enough, you will find evidence to support that. We just love to be right, even if it hurts us!
Proving to yourself you are enough in various areas of life, including work, friendships, family relationships, romantic relationships, and the relationship with oneself is highly beneficial in overcoming these destructive feelings. By embodying the evidence and countering negative beliefs, we can feel confident in our self-worth.
Takeaways
*Feeling not enough is rooted in shame and the need for approval from others.
*Resolving the feeling of not being enough is an internal process that cannot be resolved through external validation.
*Actively look for evidence in different areas of your life, such as work, friendships, family, romantic relationships, and the relationship with oneself, and identify specific instances where you have felt good enough.
