Lord of the Rings WHOM? This week on Authorized, we tackle Wayland Drew's novelization of Willow, which, frankly, rules. It's so dang good. Where some authors see novelizations as homework, Wayland Drew is enthused to expand a goofy Ron Howard film into an outright epic. This is the best book we've covered, maybe. Honestly. It's so wonderful.

Remember that throwaway line about how there's a Sixth Sense spinoff trilogy? Well, we read 'em. In the first full episode of Tertiary Tomes, Overbye assembles a Wolf Pack of guest readers to dive into the further adventures of the precocious Cole Sear. And then after all that, Hannah read them anyways!
The books covered in this episode are the Sixth Sense: Secrets From Beyond books Survivor, Runaway, and H...

The Sixth Sense- famously a hit with children. Thank god Scholastic book fairs peddled a (junior?) novelization of this very chill and normal movie. This week we're joined by Annie Kelly, the UK correspondent for QAnon Anonymous, to discuss Peter Lerangis' PG take on a classic. Surprisingly? It really works.

The Nickelodeon novelizations, why do they beckon to us?? Today on Authorized, we try to get some of that Rugrats magic back by diving into Joseph Locke's Good Burger novelization. We discuss whether Dexter is a child savant, what Kurt's whole deal is, and debate whether Triampathol is real. It's Joel Schumacher's Bat...
