In this episode of The Authorpreneur Podcast, I talk with Jason Wolbers, the author of The Power of a Positive Mindset.

Starting at a young age, Jason learned how important it was to have a positive mindset in his personal and business life. He’s been in direct sales his entire life and started as a sales rep at 18, fresh out of high school. Despite his age, he was the number one salesperson in his company (with around 150 representatives) for two years at the ages of nineteen and twenty.

He was consistently outselling people who had been in the industry for five, ten, fifteen, and even some of them over twenty years. Some of them were more than twice his age. Why did he outsell people with far more sales ability and knowledge? It was because he took the time to learn and develop success principles and was disciplined in living by what he was learning.

Jason has always believed that champions are made behind the scenes, not in the limelight. He was willing to do what most people wouldn’t and constantly studied sales, psychology, and personal development.

Jason has compiled his knowledge and wisdom into his best-selling book, The Power of a Positive Mindset.

In this episode, Jason and I discuss personal development, motivation, impostor syndrome, and overcoming self-doubt. If you’re interested in learning more about how Jason has leveraged his book into his business including motivational speaking engagements, then you’re really going to enjoy this episode.

He emphasizes that the 90-day challenge is doable because it only requires a few minutes of reading each day.
