(00:28):
Hello Clarice, Welcome back or welcome to Autopsy of a Crime.
I hope you all are doing well and having a great week.
I am working on more upcoming posts covering the mysterious
death of Crystal McCrory Jones. As you all know from the

(00:52):
previous episodes, there's many things that don't add up.
Conflicts of interest, mistakes, pedophiles, domestic abuse, many
red flags. For this episode specifically, I
want to dig into her husband, Tony Jones.

(01:13):
I've mentioned in previous poststhat Tony Jones was a former
deputy. However, it's unclear if he was
a deputy at the time of Crystal's death or ever.
Apparently, something that should be easily verifiable is
clouded with mystery. Let's dig in.

(01:46):
I want to first start by providing warnings that this is
a graphic details graphic material.
Trigger warning. Trigger all the triggers.
This post will also be covering accusations of sexual abuse on
minors and appropriate conduct with underage children and

(02:09):
sexual abuse allegations, domestic assault.
So all of the warnings. This could be very sensitive to
some listeners. So please, if it is too much or
if it is troublesome to you, perhaps this episode isn't for
you and that's OK. Just pause and come back for the

(02:32):
next one. In the last episode, I ended
with a bombshell the accusationsagainst Tony Jones for
inappropriate sexual contact with minor females.
I want to be clear that Sheriff Scott Matthews is aware of all

(02:54):
of this. He even admits and proclaims
Tony Jones is a liar. However, he somehow doesn't feel
that all of these circumstances should require a more in depth
investigation into Crystal's death.
Sheriff Scott Matthews goes on to declare in a recorded meeting
that Tony Jones has never been investigated by any agency,

(03:19):
which is factually false. This recording I'm going to play
for you is portions of a recorded meeting with Sheriff
Scott Matthews and Crystal's siblings, Jana and Dane.
You can hear for yourself how rude he speaks to Crystal's

(03:43):
family. He seems very defensive,
adamantly declaring Tony Jones has not committed any crime.
Sheriff Scott Matthews further admits that he has no idea if
Tony Jones has committed any crime or molested a child.

(04:04):
Well, Sheriff Scott Matthews, why don't you investigate and
find out? This is a recorded meeting with
Sheriff Scott Matthews of West Carroll Sheriff's Office with

(04:27):
Jana Crystal's sister. You're.
The one who's forgiven me. I'll hope for everything I've
got, don't everything for a minute that I won't cover up
anything for anybody. Tony Jones does not work for me,
OK? Good 'cause he has on his
Facebook he does I. Just say yes she'll what he has
on his Facebook it's. Like he's the one that makes.

(04:50):
Sense, please feel. Crazy.
Just. Listen to me, 'cause I'm really
directing this to you. I, I think that the other guys
here have a pretty good understanding of of who I am and
what I stand for. I can't help what he has on his
Facebook page. He can put on there on Donald
Trump's pimp. I can't help that.

(05:10):
He could. Put on his he could, he could go
down to the donut shop in the morning and tell everybody in
there. I work director for Scott
Matthews and I have $1,000,000 in the bank.
I can't help what he goes out inthe public and says.
That's not that's not for me to control.
I understand. I can't help that he may have

(05:31):
had 10 affairs. Yeah, it is illegal to pose as a
police officer. It's illegal.
I mean, I know that. I know.
I know what you're saying, but Ijust know.
It's like, who does that? I just did.
I don't know. He knows what I have already
conceded you've got. I know he's a liar, OK?
I just want y'all to know that. I don't want you to know that,

(05:54):
and at this point in this conversation, I don't think
you've come to that realization.He's a liar.
Is is him being a liar against the.
Law. No.
It's. Not you've got to accept he's a
liar. He's.
Not the person. That he portrays himself to be
out in the public or to to anybody.

(06:14):
Is that a crime? It is not.
There are people that come in here on a daily basis and attack
me by spreading things about me and my wife in the in the
community. Yeah, when I live to arrest him.
You didn't want. To do that right, right, it's
not a crime. I don't want you to feel like
anything I'm saying is against the Police Department.

(06:36):
My great grandfather was a sheriff here.
I, I don't, I don't say I'm not saying anything about the police
or the investigate. I don't, I feel like you're
doing your job. I just feel like, why is he just
it just that's where we get our suspicions is from him.
He just, he betrays all these things to us and he's, he's been
making us think all along. He's buddy buddy in the sheriff,
in the Sheriff's Department and patrolling the streets.

(06:57):
I mean it's. Just like it.
Makes us, it's like he wants us to be more suspicious or
something. I mean, that's what it sounds
like, but I, I feel like it's not legal to betray yourself as
police officers, especially to pull someone over.
And who knows who is? You know I don't.
Know I don't know what he's doing now so haven't sent that
statement and I asked you who ishe pulled over for what?

(07:18):
I don't know but. He could.
I've not had a single complaint of him pulling over Anybody OK?
Good. I've not had a single complaint
of him molesting him, any young women.
Has he done it? I have no idea.

(07:39):
But when I when, when you, when you bring these issues to light,
I'm telling you, tell me Jones doesn't work for me.
I'm saying you're a police officer.
You just can't. It's just you're gonna run
around. Making traffic stops and portray
yourself as a police officer. If I want to go down to the
donut shop and sit down with a table full of the end and say

(08:01):
I'm a police officer, he has notcommitted a crime, let that go.
The next portion here I'm going to play is still the same
recording of this meeting with Sheriff Scott Matthews.
And I want you to keep in mind that this is Crystal's sister.
This is a victim's family he is speaking to, OK I feel.

(08:26):
Like you're upset with me. Thank.
You for taking. Offense what for?
What, portraying me as someone that's a violent?
There's not. Portraying you as anything at
all? I've never said that at all and
said you did anything wrong at all.
I do not believe that he has made us suspect him, him just by

(08:47):
his mouth. Like we just don't know what is
going on. We're not from here.
We're not from here right now. My family is from here.
I just dropped off flowers to mygrandparents and.
Goodwill and and I'm and I don'tbelieve.
That you're doing anything wrong.
I, I don't want you to feel thatI am saying this towards you.
We have just been so upset by the way he has portrayed.

(09:11):
Things. Like he's lied.
To us, you know so much and. And I just told you I'll let my
mouth overload my tail. Yeah, too much.
I don't want you to feel like I don't want to offend you at all
or the Police Department. At all.
And, and maybe I've taken it a little bit wrong here.
Now I'm trying to let you know the things that that some of the

(09:33):
things that you're talking aboutdoes not constitute a crime.
And you can't let that have a bearing.
But on my end, you can't let those things have a bearing on
on trying to find the truth. I understand.
That's what I'm trying to say. Well.
He has just kind of made us to believe that he's just some big
wig over here, police guy. He's.

(09:55):
A. Chronic liar.
It's like running around. I mean, you know, that's why
we've been up. So it's like.
You gotta know and understand that that's what chronic liars
do. They portray themselves as
something that they are not. And he, he has that, he's got
that Burr under your saddle and you've got to let that go.

(10:18):
This next portion is again the same meeting, and this is Dane,
Crystal's brother, telling Sheriff Scott Matthews about the
incident with Tony Jones's daughter Cheyenne and her broken
hymen. I know that my wife is a family

(10:41):
nurse practitioner, and she had kind of heard through the
Grapevine, through some other nurses that Tony had brought
Cheyenne in at one point, 'causewe're not, and they tried to
play it off. That was about a bicycle.
Yeah. And is it?
That's not crystal, No. Listen, his child from a

(11:02):
previous. Relationship yeah.
Also know that his ex-wife has arestraining order on him.
Born before Crystal. That's what she's like.
Shanna Jones. Shanna Jones S.
H AM. NA, so we've got a conduct.

(11:25):
So we've got, you know, got thatwith his with his daughter
Cheyenne. I'm telling you, it's genuinely
just unbelievable. So many things that would make
you think, yeah, let's take another look at this and make
sure that this investigation wasthorough, that we checked every

(11:48):
box possible. And instead he has the gall to
get an attitude with Crystal's family and just utter
unprofessionalism. So now getting more into the
evidence of Tony Jones's inappropriate relationships with
underage girls, Sheriff Scott Matthews was made aware of these

(12:12):
accusations and given both a name and phone number of a
witness by the name of Shanna Jones, who is the ex-wife of
Tony Jones, so that he could contact her in regards to the
information he was provided in that recorded meeting on
February 23rd of 2023. However, he never attempted to

(12:35):
make contact with Shannon Jones and he deemed this information
irrelevant to the case. In a recorded conversation on
March 21st, 2023, Sheriff Matthews stated that Tony Jones
had never been investigated by any agencies, which we know for
a fact is not true. A separate eyewitness to Tony

(12:59):
Jones's inappropriate behavior with the young girls was Pastor
Lance Nugent. He was very reluctant to speak
with Crystal's family and asked that the conversation not be
recorded due to the fact that hestill resides in the town of Oak
Grove and is afraid of what his life would be like if the

(13:20):
community knew that he had told what he saw.
Tony Jones's ex-wife, Shanna Jones recalled Acps
investigation into Tony Jones for his behavior with a minor
girl. Shanna Jones also remembered
receiving a letter while she wasmarried to Tony Jones that

(13:42):
stated he could not be in a homewith a minor female, yet he
somehow has custody of his daughter Cheyenne.
Shanna cites that her marriage to Tony Jones in fact ended
because of his inappropriate relationships with underage
girls. Shanna Jones also obtained A

(14:03):
restraining order against Tony Jones for domestic abuse.
This restraining order included her minor child.
Tony Jones was effectively barred from contacting or being
anywhere near Shanna Jones and her child, who is not Tony
Jones's child. Just to be clear, and I have

(14:27):
this, the document for this restraining order up on the sub
stack if you would like to see it.
It marks her as the petitioner. It marks that this order covers
the child and parent. She also cites that Tony Jones
choked her, shoved her, threatened her with bodily harm,

(14:50):
threatened her life. There's additional portions
where she hand wrote what occurred.
It's just I, I just, I have no words, she cites.
Around March of 1999, Mr. Jones grabbed me by the arm and threw

(15:12):
me to the ground. I was about 3 months pregnant at
this time. We were at his house about a
month later. He grabbed me by my throat and
choked me. I did not pass out.
His brother pulled him off of me.
Additionally, there are very questionable situations with
Tony Jones's very own daughter. As you heard in that recording,

(15:36):
Crystal's sister-in-law, Crystal's brother's wife, is a
nurse practitioner and it becameknown to Crystal's family that
there was an incident when Tony Jones took his daughter Cheyenne
to the emergency room. He stated that she had fallen
off of her bike and injured her vagina.

(15:57):
Cheyenne was in discomfort and pain.
It was later found that Cheyenne's hymen was broken.
In the last episode. We went over Pastor Nugent's
experiences and observations of Tony Jones's inappropriate
behavior and I have more on whatPastor Nugent said to

(16:17):
Investigator Angela Rothman. He stated that he personally
witnessed Tony Jones conduct very inappropriate behavior with
some of the younger female students at the karate studio.
Before class, Tony Jones would have the students stretch and
warm up. Tony Jones would have the girls
lay on their backs and he would grab one of their legs and bring

(16:39):
it up over their head. While in that position, Tony
Jones would kneel and place his knee into the vaginal area of
the young women and press into it.
Pastor Nugent confronted Tony Jones and demanded that this
type of physical contact stop immediately.
Tony Jones would continue to display this type of

(17:00):
inappropriate contact and PastorNugent would continue to ask him
to stop. Pastor Nugent would also witness
Tony Jones being very physical with his teen daughter Cheyenne.
Tony would have Cheyenne sit on his lap on numerous occasions in
front of other students and parents at the karate studio.

(17:21):
Pastor Nugent would overhear arguments that Tony Jones and
his wife Crystal Jones would have over the fact that he was
too, quote, handsy with Cheyenne.
Pastor Nugent shared that the arguments over Cheyenne would
get very heated. Tony Jones would tell Pastor
Nugent that Crystal Jones was just jealous of the close
relationship that he had with his daughter.

(17:45):
Then we have a friend and Co workers of Crystal's, Anna
Lewis, who shared with investigator Angela Rothman that
Crystal had shared concerns and issues with her about her
marriage to Tony Jones. Crystal told Anna about Tony
Jones's interest in the swinginglifestyle and that Crystal felt

(18:06):
Tony Jones was inappropriate with his daughter Cheyenne.
After Crystal's death, Anna delivered food to Tony Jones to
be kind. When she left the home, Tony
Jones began sending her sexuallyexplicit messages.
Anna was shocked. Tony Jones knew that Anna was

(18:27):
engaged and Crystal had just passed away.
Anna also shared with the investigator that her fiance
Brent is a former law enforcement officer and he found
it very odd and suspicious that the Oak Grove Sheriff's
Department handled and investigated Crystal Jones's
case when the death occurred at the Joneses residence which is

(18:51):
located on a state highway and not a Parish Rd., hence not
their jurisdiction. Anna's fiance is confident that
the Louisiana State Police should have investigated Crystal
Jones's case. And then going back to those
messages that he sent her. Just disgusting.

(19:14):
He texted her that his Dick was hard and he is still a man and
has needs. Tony, no one gives a fuck about
your needs. You're gross.
As if all of this is not bad enough, we also find that

(19:36):
Charles Chuck Harris, that very friend and deputy that Tony
Jones called to do a welfare check on Crystal that fateful
day, has also had inappropriate relationships with minors.
This occurred while Chuck Harriswas in law enforcement and
somehow he remained in law enforcement after that.

(19:59):
Investigator Angela Rothman did a phone interview with Patty
Berry, who is the mother of Charles Chuck Harris's victim.
Her name is Rebecca and he had asexual relationship with Rebecca
Berry. Between 1993 and 1994 he was a

(20:23):
trooper at the time and lived onthe same St. as the family and
he would leave notes and gifts for Rebecca in the Berry family
mailbox. All of this came to light.
Rebecca's parents took it to police and initially they did
not believe Rebecca and they made Rebecca and Charles Chuck

(20:46):
Harris do polygraph test and they were then told that Rebecca
passed the test and this is justthis is the kicker.
The captain of the State Police immediately demoted Chuck Harris

(21:06):
out of Troop F and placed him ina school crossing guard
position. The fact that Chuck Harris was
demoted for being a pedophile and sent to be a crossing guard
is absolutely beyond who made that decision, who, who, who

(21:27):
thought that was appropriate. Chuck Harris has also been or is
currently a school resource officer, which is horrifying.
There is a screenshot of his Facebook page on the sub stack
if you would like to see it. Chuck Harris, school resource
officer, W Carroll school systemPrevious jobs are patrol duty at

(21:52):
West Carroll Sheriff's Department Former police chief
at Kilbourne, Louisiana. Just.
There's pedophiles everywhere, apparently, all around Oak
Grove, all around the West Carroll Parish Sheriff's Office.
While these accusations are substantiated by documents,

(22:13):
witness statements, victims, andCPS investigations, the West
Carroll Parish Sheriff's Office glossed over it.
It played no part in the investigation of Crystal's
death, despite the fact that Crystal had began tracking Tony
Jones's location shortly before her death.

(22:34):
Crystal was logged into his Gmail account.
Crystal had also recently updated their Ring security
camera at their home. Certainly suggests she was
suspicious of something. Certainly seems even more
suspicious now. Also knowing what Crystal had
confided in Anna, her Co worker, and what others were noticing

(22:56):
about Tony Jones and his pedophile tendencies.
Keep in mind there is a photo onthe sub stack.
I just want you to keep in mind that that is a photo from
Crystal's laptop. She was logged into Tony's
e-mail and receiving daily timelines of every location he

(23:18):
visited. And based on emails that Jana,
Crystal's sister, recovered fromthe laptop, it seems that
Crystal began tracking Tony Jones on January 27th, 2023, and
she was still tracking him two days before her death on
February 7th, 2023. And that photo is available on

(23:40):
Sub Stack if you would like to see it.
Tony Jones's location on the dayof Crystal's death show him at
10:53 AM visiting Three O 5 E Main St., Oak Grove, LA ZIP code
71263, which is the Sheriff's Office and Tony Jones's Google

(24:02):
account. This location is titled work.
However, as we know sheriff Scott Matthews says he doesn't
work there, he doesn't work for him Conveniently, crystal's
death certificate lists her timeof death at 11 AM.
So Tony Jones was at the Sheriff's Office or his job when

(24:23):
Crystal died? I also want to point out that
while Sheriff Scott Matthews declares in a recorded meeting
that Tony Jones does not work for him, that Tony Jones is not
a deputy. I've included a photo on sub
stack that shows Tony Jones seemingly in uniform.

(24:45):
Is this not impersonation of an officer?
And if he's not impersonating anofficer, then why is the
Sheriff's Office lying about hisaffiliation with their office?
He is in a tan, what appears to be Sheriff's Office collared
button 3 button shirt He has on the belt.

(25:09):
It appears he has on a gun. He's got a badge attached to his
belt. What is this?
And so we have to ask, does he work there or not?
Has Tony Jones ever been employed in any manner with the
West Carroll Sheriff's Office? Why does he have this uniform in

(25:31):
a badge? Someone is lying.
Crystal had even shared this very same photo to her own
Facebook. A doting and proud wife.
This is also available in Substack, she wrote.
I'm so proud of this guy right here.
I've never met anyone so driven,so hardworking, so determined to

(25:55):
give everything 100%. And I'm pretty excited to say
he's mine. I sure do love doing life with
you, Tony J Jones. Yeah, go see it for yourself.
Same photo and what appears to be some variation of a Sheriff's
Office uniform, although Scott Matthews says he doesn't work

(26:15):
there. And then again, it's on sub
stack. Please go look at it for
yourself. It's a screenshot of Tony J
Jones's Facebook page for work. It says patrol officer at West
Carroll Parish Sheriff's Office.I know, mind blowing.
It's amazing. You know, all of these things

(26:37):
point to what he's affiliated insome way, but yet he doesn't
work there. Tony Jones clearly had some sort
of a relationship with multiple deputies who were involved in
this case. Conflicts of interest to say the
least. And of all of the people he

(26:58):
could have called to check on Crystal, he didn't call her
family and he didn't call his own family.
He called Deputy Charles Chuck Harris, on his personal cell
phone no less. A fellow pedophile.

(27:18):
And then there's Deputy Alan Irby, whose report we've gone
over that seems to desperately work to explain why there is no
shell casing, and then backpedaland desperately try to explain
how it suddenly appeared 9 days later.
Well, Alan Irby's wife is friends with Tony Jones on

(27:40):
Facebook of course because why not, and she actively engages
with the things that Tony Jones posts.
And of course you can see this for yourself on Sub Stack
February 24th of 2023 Tony Jonesposts just APSA.
If anyone has any questions about what has went on or if I'm

(28:02):
leaving town, please feel free to contact me and I will answer
any questions that you have. Thank you.
Why would you be leaving town? That's interesting.
And then of course in the likes and the reactions, there's
Heather Hill Irby, the wife of Deputy Allen Irby doing a care

(28:27):
reaction to this post. There's another post he has
February 17th. She comments with two heart
emojis. It's all just so very
interesting now. So many connections, so, so many

(28:48):
conflicts of interest. One could say somewhere between
deputies, liars, and pedophiles. There is the truth about
Crystal's death. But how do we get to that truth
when the very same people are incharge of her case?

(29:11):
If you would like to reach out and express concerns about this
case and try to help the family get a proper review of this
case, I have included contact information for various people,
departments, organizations on the sub stack and I urge you all

(29:33):
to reach out. Call them, send them an e-mail,
send them a carrier pigeon, whatever it takes.
That is all for this episode. We'll be back soon with a new
episode, and in the meantime, please stay safe because it's a

(29:54):
scary world out there. Until next time, bye.
