Self-communication involves repeated thoughts, words and tapes that influence our unconscious mind. Bringing what is unconscious to the surface so it can examined is a powerful practice. When we are aware of what is there, we can choose to keep it or not. Positive self-talk is about being intentional with how we choose to describe what is, defining clearly what we want to plant and finding the right tools and resources to make it happen.
