February 1, 2012, began like any other day at work for 18-year-old Samantha Koenig.
Finishing up her shift at the Common Grounds coffee stand around 8pm in downtown Anchorage, Alaska, the young barista was approached by a man wearing a ski mask who ordered coffee. She would end up being just one of the many victims of one of the most manipulative, calculating, and heartless serial killers in history.
This is the case of Israel Keyes part 1. Here we cover the abduction and murder of Samantha Koenig who was a beautiful, empathetic, smart, and animal loving 18 year old who wanted to be a nurse and do positive things in the world. We then cover his capture and dive into the beginning of his background.
