On October 5, 2018, 27-year-old Terrence Woods Jr was about to wrap up a day of shooting on the show Gold Rush while filming on set in the Penmen Mine area of Idaho.  At 5:31pm he would drop his radio, sprint down a steep cliff, disappear into the forest and rough terrain below never to be seen again.  

To this day, his disappearance is just another unfortunate example of an unsolved case within the BIPOC community.

At 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 27, 1986, Cara Knott called her family and said she was heading home to El Cajon from her boyfriend’s place in Escondido driving southbound on HWY 15.  When she didn’t return home from her boyfriend’s residence, her parents were immediately alerted.
