When you start paying attentionto yourself and your immediate
environment, you becomesensitive to all the shifts in
energy happening within you andaround you.
Our whole world is made up ofenergy, so every once in a while

you're bound to pick up someunwanted energy.
We can control the energy inour internal world by
consistently meditating,expressing gratitude,
reprogramming our subconsciousbeliefs, practicing positive
self-talk and reciting a mantra.
By working on our internalworld, we begin emitting good

energy into the external world,essentially becoming a source of
good energy.
But we can't control the energythat already exists in the
external world.
As I've been explaining to youthroughout this podcast, the
only thing we truly have anycontrol over in this world is
ourselves.
This is why I will constantlyremind you to focus on yourself.

In episode 5, I talked aboutenergy vampires.
If you haven't already done so,make sure you go back and

I talked about the importanceof a strong support system and
how to lead by example whendealing with low-energy people.
When you spend time withnegative and low-energy people,

their energy can sometimesattach to you and linger on you.
These could be negative friendsor family members, maybe a
co-worker or even a toxicpartner.
You need to begin payingattention to how you feel when
you're spending time with people.
Who are you around when you'refeeling your best, and who are

you around when you suddenlystart feeling grumpy and
pessimistic, especially if youwere in a great mood before
seeing them?
But people are only one sourcewhere you might pick up negative
energy.
It could also come from anegative environment, like at
the home of a toxic familymember or a historical building

where a lot of suffering tookplace.
It might be from the contentyou're consuming, whether on
social media or the tragediesand conflicts you're witnessing
on the news.
It can leave you feelingdrained and just not yourself.
Over time, as you continue toaccumulate negative and unwanted
energy from various sources,you'll start noticing that it

becomes difficult to snap out ofit and to get back to your
healthy spiritual practices.
There are a few signs you'llnotice when your energy needs to
be cleansed.
Some of the signs are whenyou're having difficulty
connecting with your intuitionor your higher self.
When we fall out of alignmentwith our higher selves, our most

authentic selves.
We begin to operate from theego.
Remember the ego wants you tostay the same.
It wants to keep thingscomfortable and familiar.
Your ego will keep you fromreaching your full potential, if
you let it.
So you will notice that,despite your efforts, you might

not be gaining any momentumtowards your goals and you may
be struggling to find motivation.
The unwanted energy could causeyou to feel irritated and hold
tension in different parts ofyour body.
You might be having troublesleeping or feeling tired all
the time, even when you've beensleeping well.
But there are several ways thatwe can instantly begin cleansing

our energy so that we can takethe necessary steps to get back
into a state of alignment.
I used to use energy cleansingintermittently every few months,
but that was before I became soaligned with my true self and
so connected with my intuition.
Now I've incorporated energycleansing into my nightly

routine Because I enjoy thefeeling of being in my own
energy and I'm so in tune withmyself that I can always tell
when my energy is off.
So today I'm going to sharewith you a few of my favorite
practices that I use, which youcan start implementing today.
First, I want to start bymentioning that energy cleansing

doesn't have to be complicated.
You can start by simply settingan intention and using your
breath.
Regardless of which tools youdecide to implement, always
start by taking three cleansingbreaths.
Start by breathing in slowlythrough your nose, allowing your
lungs to expand fully.

Visualize your breath spreadingthrough your body, reaching
your fingertips and your toes.
Hold the breath for a momentand then release it through your
mouth with an audible sigh.
As you exhale, engage your coremuscles and gently push out any
air that's left, imaginingyou're releasing any negativity

or tension that's stored within.
Repeat this process two moretimes, focusing on each breath
as a powerful tool for clearingand purifying your energy field.
As you continue to breathedeeply and intentionally, allow
yourself to sink deeper into astate of relaxation and inner

peace, feeling lighter, clearerand more aligned with your true
self.
Water is an important componentof cleansing our energy and
raising our vibrational state.
Water can help energy flowwithin us, so you can also use
it to cleanse your energy in anumber of ways.

As you know, our body is madeup of about 70% water and our
cells need water to functionoptimally.
When we drink water, we notonly hydrate our cells, but also
support the body's naturaldetoxification process, helping
us to flush out toxins andimpurities from our system.

We can also use it to cleanseour physical body and energy
field.
Next time you're taking ashower, let the water flow from
the crown of your head downwards.
Visualize this water as apowerful cleansing force,
washing away any dark ornegative energy that may be

lingering within your energeticfield.
As the water washes over you,envision it changing color,
absorbing and carrying away anyheaviness, tension or negativity
from your body and your aura.
Set an intention for the waterto cleanse you of any negative
or stagnant energy.

To cleanse you of any energywhich is no longer serving you.
Imagine the negative energywashing off of you and down the
drain.
Notice yourself feeling lighteras the water begins to run
clear Another powerful techniquefor energy cleansing is to take
a ritual bath.

To create your ritual bath,start by filling your tub with
warm water.
Add in epsom salt and essentialoils.
These ingredients not only helpyour muscles relax, but also
work to draw out toxins andnegative energy from your body.
You can also light a candle ifthat helps you get into a

relaxed state.
If you have roses laying aroundfrom Valentine's Day, pick the
petals and add them to your bath.
Rose petals are associated withqualities of love, purity and
healing.
It's believed that their gentleand nurturing energy can uplift
your spirit and cleanse you ofnegative energy.

While you soak, take the timeto connect with your breath and
tune in to your body'ssensations.
Notice any areas of tension ordiscomfort and imagine them
dissolving into the water,leaving you feeling lighter and
more at ease.
Allow yourself to fullysurrender to the healing power

of the bath, knowing that youare releasing anything that is
no longer serving you and makingspace for new positive energy
to flow into your life.
When you're ready, rub the rosepetals on your skin, asking
them to cleanse you of anynegative or stagnant energy, to

cleanse you of any energy whichis no longer serving you.
When you're done with your bath, collect the rose petals and
drain the water.
As the water washes down thedrain, imagine it has taken all
the heavy emotions, tension andnegativity with it.
Then take your petals and burythem outside in the dirt.

Thank the Earth for taking thisnegative energy from you and
notice how much lighter and moreenergetically balanced you feel

I also like to use smokesmudging.
This ancient practice involvesburning sage palo santo or
incense to cleanse and purifythe energy of a space or a

person.
As the smoke wafts through theair, it carries with it
cleansing properties thatneutralize any negative or
stagnant energy.
My preference is to use palosanto, a sacred wood from South
America.
I prefer the smell of it and itprovides cleansing and
grounding effects which create asense of calm and tranquility.

It might take some practice tofind what works for you, but
every time I hold my palo santo,it sends shivers up and down my
spine.
I can literally feel my energymoving.
I like to light it and waft itaround myself and repeat Please
cleanse me of any negative orstagnant energy.

Please cleanse me of any energywhich is no longer serving me.
When I'm cleansing my space, Ilike to have a window open so
the unwanted energy can leavethe room.
I repeat a similar phrase, butinstead of saying cleanse me, I
say cleanse this space.
I walk around the room,ensuring I reach every corner of

the room.
I visualize the smoke purifyingthe energy of the space and
releasing any negativity andtension.
At the end of the practice, Ilike to take three cleansing
breaths and express gratitudefor the cleansing and
purification that has takenplace.

Crystals play a significant rolein energy work due to their
unique vibrational propertiesand their ability to interact
with the body's energy systems.
You can use the power ofcrystals to clear your space or
yourself of unwanted energy.
I rarely buy crystals and I'mnot an expert in them, but I

usually rely on my intuition toguide me towards the crystals I
need.
Some of the crystals I useregularly are selenite, which is
associated with purity, peaceand higher consciousness.
It usually is a pearly whitecolor and it's believed to have
the power to cleanse and charge.

Other crystals clear blockagesfrom your energy field and
direct high-frequency energyinto your body.
It promotes personal andspiritual growth and mental
clarity.
I also like to use malachite,which is known as a stone of
transformation.
It's a deep emerald green color, covered in swirls of different

shades of green.
It serves as a guardian of theheart and it helps to flesh out
toxic emotions and clear awayunwanted energies.
It also clears pollutants fromthe body and environment.
Citrine comes in many shades ofyellow, from pale to bright

amber.
Just like standing in thegentle glow of the sunlight,
citrine is an instant pick-me-up, boosting self-esteem and
confidence.
It guards against negativeenergies, releasing anger and
tension, and brings in a senseof positivity and optimism.
These are just a few examplesof crystals that can be used for

energy cleansing, but there aremany others to explore as well.
When working with crystals,it's important to cleanse and
charge them regularly tomaintain their effectiveness.
You can do this by placing themin the moonlight or smudging
them with sage or palo santo.
Use your intuition and choosecrystals that resonate most with

you and your specific needs forenergy cleansing and
purification.
Last but not least, physicalmovement is a powerful tool for
releasing stagnant energy fromthe body.
When we engage in movement,whether it's through exercise,
dance or simply going for a walk, we stimulate the flow of

energy in the body, helping tobreak up any blockages or
tension that may be stopping thefree flow of energy.
Stagnant energy can get stuckin the body for a variety of
reasons, including emotionaltrauma, chronic stress and
anxiety, environmental factorsand a lack of self-care.

Stretching and exercise help toincrease circulation, release
tension and promote the flow ofenergy throughout the body.
Massage is another powerfultool for releasing stagnant
energy.
By applying pressure tospecific points and areas of
tension, massage can help tostimulate circulation, break up

adhesions and release storedemotional or energetic blockages
.
Even something as simple asgoing for a walk can be a
powerful form of energy release.
Take a leisurely stroll innature, allowing yourself to
connect with the natural worldaround you and soak in the

healing energy of the Earth.
Overall, physical movement isan essential component of energy
work, helping to promote theflow of energy throughout the
body and release any blockagesor stagnation that may be
inhibiting our vitality andwell-being.
