Today, we're going to dive evendeeper.
I'm excited to share with yousome specific practices from the
book Ask, and it Is Given byEsther and Jerry Hicks.
These practical techniques aredesigned to help you raise your
vibrations and align moreclosely with your desires.

There are over 20 differentpractices described in the book,
and I'll be walking you throughsome of the most powerful and
transformative ones.
Get ready to learn how to livein alignment with your higher
self and all the goodness thatcomes with it.
By now, you understand thatenergy is everything and that we

are extensions of source energy.
There are a few things thatAbraham Hicks does differently
than other spiritual teachingsI've read, and that's what I'm
so excited to share with youhere.
Keep in mind, this journey hasbeen over a decade long for me.
I've tried so many differentpractices from so many different

teachers, and I'm using thispodcast to share what worked
well and what I continuously goback to.
This includes science-basedteachings and more spiritual,
belief-based teachings.
The intention is to save youtime and effort so that you can

more quickly align with yourhighest and best self.
I don't typically recommendAbraham's teachings for people
who are at the beginning stagesof their spiritual journey,
because the messaging can getlost in some of the language
that's used.
But, lucky for you, I'm here tobreak it all down for you.

As we discussed in season one,the emotions we feel are a
reaction to the thoughts we arehaving.
So to deliberately create thereality you want, you need to
start by having better thoughts,which is easier said than done
when you have subconsciouslimiting beliefs about yourself

or about life.
Those limiting beliefs Beliefscan also be referred to as
resistance.
Resistance refers to anythought, belief or feeling that
is in opposition to your desires.
It's the internal force thatslows down or prevents the

manifestation of your desires,because it lowers your
vibrational frequency.
Because it lowers yourvibrational frequency.
So the key is to use yourfeelings as an indicator of
whether you're in or out ofalignment with source energy.
The better you feel, the morealigned you are, the worse you
feel, the more resistance youare allowing, and that

resistance is keeping you out oftouch with the good feeling,
source energy, that is alwaysavailable to you.
Your emotions are intended tobe used as a guidance system.
Paying attention to them willguide you towards what you want
and away from what you don'twant.

Getting what you want in life isheavily dependent on how good
you are at releasing yourresistance.
If we didn't have anyresistance, we would be in
direct connection with sourceenergy and manifesting our
realities effortlessly.
But part of our humanexperience is learning how to

release the resistance we'vepicked up along the way and
tapping back into that sourceenergy.
Think of it like a game.
Your challenge is to let go sothat you can receive that you

can receive.
So what is an example ofresistance?
Let's say you have a desire tobe wealthy, but you grew up in a
household where there was ascarcity mindset around money.
Maybe you heard things likemoney doesn't grow on trees or
we can't afford that.
Although these statements aresimple and seem harmless enough,
they could have contributed toyou believing that money is

limited and hard to come by.
So, when you try to tellyourself the positive thought
that money flows to me easilyand effortlessly, which is true
when you're in a constant stateof alignment isn't true when
you're in a constant state ofalignment, isn't true for you
because of the resistance youhave.
Your resistance is keeping yourvibration in a scarcity-lack
(05:32):
mindset, so you're not avibrational match to allow the
wealth you want into your life.
You can't allow it until youlearn how to release the
resistance or undo the scarcitymindset you've adopted.
Since we are extensions ofsource energy, it's important to

remind yourself that highvibrational energy is always
available to you, even if you'reat the lowest point in your
life.
Right now, the source energydoesn't go away.
You're just so out of alignmentthat you can't feel it, but
it's still within you, no matterwhat.
Take comfort in that thought.

Abraham often talks aboutcontrast, which essentially
means that without knowing whatyou do not want, you can't
become clear on what you do want.
Contrast refers to the varietyof experiences, both wanted and
unwanted, that you encounter inlife.
It's the presence ofcontrasting experiences that

help you clarify yourpreferences and desires.
This is where you use yourfeelings to guide you when you
encounter something unwanted,like a difficult situation or a
challenging relationship, it'san opportunity for growth and
clarity.
Your negative emotions aresignals that you're experiencing

contrast and they serve as aguide to what you truly desire.
For example, maybe you juststarted dating someone with
different preferences in socialactivities.
Perhaps your new partner enjoysgoing out five days a week,
while you prefer quieterevenings at home.

Initially, this differencemight not seem problematic, but
as the relationship progresses,conflict comes up.
Like if your partner isconstantly prioritizing going
out over spending quality timewith you, you might start
feeling resentment orfrustration towards them.
These negative emotions serveas indicators that you're out of

alignment with your truedesires.
Through this contrast, you gaininsight into your needs and
boundaries within relationships.
You realize that you require apartner who respects and
prioritizes quality timetogether.
Or you might discover that youvalue independence and
(08:09):
appreciate a partner whomaintains their own fulfilling
life outside of the relationship.
In this scenario, spendingfewer days together allows a
sense of contentment and balance, enhancing the joy you feel
within the relationship.
It is the contrast that allowsus to understand our wants and

needs better.
That allows us to understandour wants and needs better.
It's crucial to understand thatcontrast isn't something to be
feared or avoided.
Instead, it's a valuable partof our journey towards alignment
with our higher self.
Every moment of contrast is astepping stone, helping you to
(08:52):
define and refine your desiresmore clearly.
When you embrace theseexperiences and use them as a
tool for personal growth, youcan shift your focus from what
you don't want to what you dowant.
This shift in focus is the keyto raising your vibration and
(09:13):
aligning with source energy.
As you become clearer on yourdesires and start to focus on
them, you'll begin to feelbetter.
This is because you're movingcloser to your true self and the
high vibrational energy that isalways within you, energy that
(09:37):
is always within you.
Remember, even in moments ofcontrast, you have the power to
choose your thoughts and shiftyour perspective.
So, like in the earlier example, instead of being upset about
your partner's need to socialize, you could choose to instead
embrace the solitude that youget to enjoy.
And if you don't enjoy thesolitude, then you know what's

important to you in your nextrelationship.
And now that we understandresistance and contrast, we can
begin to understand how focusingon the good feelings can move
us up the vibrational scale ofalignment.
We talked about the vibrationalscale of alignment in season
(10:19):
one, episode four, so if youhaven't already done so, be sure
to go and listen.
The vibrational scale ofalignment is a powerful tool for
understanding our emotionalstates and their impact on our
experiences.
At the lower end of the scale,we encounter feelings of

resistance, such as fear, angerand despair, which keep us out
of alignment with our higherselves and source energy.
At the higher end of the scale,we find emotions like love, joy
and gratitude, which align uswith our true essence and invite

abundance into our lives.
Abraham Hicks often refers tothis state of alignment as
getting into the vortex.
It's a metaphoricalrepresentation of being in
harmony with the universe, whereour thoughts, emotions and
actions are in perfect alignmentwith our desires.

When you are in the vortex, youare in a state of joy and
alignment.
Abraham teaches a unique methodof activating the law of
attraction.
According to their teachings,if we can hold and sustain a
positive thought forapproximately 68 seconds, that

thought becomes a dominantvibration within our energetic
field.
This dominant thought thenserves as a magnet, attracting
matching manifestations into ourreality until we shift our
focus to a new dominant thought.
By consciously directing ourattention towards positive and

uplifting thoughts, we caneffectively align ourselves with
the abundance and desires wewish to manifest.
However, it's essential to notethat maintaining a dominant
thought requires you to beconsistent and intentional with
your thoughts.
And now that you know this,let's dive into some of my

favorite processes from the bookto help us stay in a state of
alignment.
First is the rampage ofappreciation.
It's a method for expressinggratitude.
Using the word rampage impliesa deliberate and concentrated
effort to elevate yourvibrational frequency through

appreciation.
It's about energeticallyramping up your feelings of
gratitude and joy to create amomentum of positive emotions
that aligns you with theabundance and well-being you
desire.
Every time you appreciate orpraise something, you appreciate
or praise something, you aretelling the universe that you

want more of this.
I listen to Abraham Hicks'Morning Rampage every single day

When I wake up in the morning,I turn off my alarm and then I
play a 10-minute rampage ofappreciation, which tells me
what a beautiful day it is andwhat a great day I'm going to
have.
It is a powerful tool thatfocuses on expressing gratitude.

It trains you to move throughyour day looking for things to
appreciate.
I also use a rampage ofappreciation based on everything
is always working out for me.
Abraham Hicks has a great onethat I can send to you if you

Another process I utilize dailyis meditation, which we

I'm not going to go deeper intothat process here, but let's
move on to the next one, andthat last process that I want to
mention today is wouldn't it benice if, when you want

something to happen and ithasn't happened yet, your focus
is on the lack of what you wantso energetically?
We're not a match for what wedesire, the.
Wouldn't it be nice if processserves as a powerful tool for
shifting your focus away fromlack and limitation towards

abundance and possibility?
By rephrasing your desires, youshift your focus towards
positive and upliftingpossibilities.
It involves deliberatelycontemplating and visualizing
scenarios or outcomes that evokefeelings of joy, excitement and
satisfaction.

When using the.
Wouldn't it be nice if processyou start by identifying
something you desire or aspireto manifest into your life?
This could be a specific goal,experience, relationship or any
other aspect of your realitythat you want to enhance or
attract.
Next, you frame your desire asa positive statement, beginning

with wouldn't it be nice if, forexample, wouldn't it be nice if
I found the perfect job thataligns with my passion?
Or wouldn't it be nice if I metsomeone to experience a deep
and meaningful connection with?
As you repeat these statementsto yourself, or visualize them

in your mind, you allow yourselfto bask in the feelings of joy,
excitement and fulfillment thataccompany the imagined scenario
.
By doing so, you raise yourvibrational frequency and align
yourself more closely with themanifestation of your desires.
You are also adding playfulnessinto the equation, infusing

your desires with a sense oflightness and openness.
These are just three of the 22processes listed in the book.

Make it your mission to feelgood, no matter what contrast or
resistance you experience.
Stay focused on feeling good,make the best of where you are
and reach for your natural stateof joy consistently and
intentionally.
As you integrate these powerfulprocesses into your daily life,
