Music veteran Joshua Powell joins me for this episode. He is a true veteran of the music industry. He has been on the scene for more than a decade and has played over 900 shows in 42 states. Bass player, Josh Townsend, joins us as well for the conversation as we discuss the history of the band, Joshua's catalog of studio releases, and the approach the band has to writing songs and playing them live.
The band recently participated in the Exile On Meridian Street project which is a collection of talented artists paying homage to the 50th anniversary of legendary Rolling Stones album, Exile on Main Street. We talk about their involvement in the project which was developed by WTTS 92.3 FM and Dave Lindquist. https://www.wttsfm.com/exile-on-meridian-st/
At the end of the show, I include a couple of my favorite tracks from his latest album, Skeleton Party, so be sure to check those out!
This is a band of gifted musicians who craft compelling songs and deliver powerful live performances. And...they are all around great guys!

Intentionally Disturbing
Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
