Speaker 1 (00:04):
New blessings, new lessons, new money.
I'm your host, let Weaver.
And we're raising vibes, head atthe Treehouse.
Now, today, this is my firstepisode.
So I wanted to go ahead andexplore the benefits of positive
thinking and equipping you withthe truths you need to transform
and live this life in the bestway possible.

(00:24):
Now, we are all aware that youonly get one life to live some
alone.
Some are short, some are happy, and some are sad.
We have the power to live thislife in a productive and
positive way in the first stepin achieving this at marble way
to live is to first change yourthoughts from negative to life
skills.

(00:44):
Let's dive in the culture we areliving in today has done a
fantastic job of victimizingpeople all while putting
negative labels on each andevery human we interact with, we
glamorize things that aren'talways a true substance, and we
seem to seek the ideas andthings that don't truly bring us
joy.

(01:05):
We have a habit as humans tothink the worst about ourselves,
and we are our own worst critic.
Just think about a time in yourlife.
When you saw a friend's art, listen to their music, or even
watch one of them play a sport.
They love one of the firstthings outta their mouth is
usually something negative abouttheir performance.

(01:26):
It's like we tend to lean intoour own insecurities and
convince ourselves that thosenegative words are the truths
that are attached to our lives.
But once again, I'm your hosterand I truly, truly, truly care
about your mental wellbeing.
I figured that we could all bepositive light in this world

(01:48):
around us.
So my goal with this episode isto open new doors of thoughts
and truth that leads totransformation.
I thank y'all for joining me.
And before we move forward, Imust ask you these important
questions today.
Have you ever struggled withnegative thoughts?

(02:08):
Have you ever tried to thinkpositively and then feel after a
few days of trials andtribulations?
Have you given up on trying tocontrol your mind and just go
with the flow of life now?
Yeah.
Okay.
Well you, me, us let's talk.

(02:29):
All right.
So we already know that thereare enormous challenges in the
world that we're living intoday.
Like in most cases, though, it'sthe access to information at our
fingertips.
That's doing us more harm thangood.
Like if you think about it backin the day, let's say, let's say
about a hundred years ago, badnews only really happened.

(02:50):
If your neighbor came over andtold you about it, y'all know
that word of mouth.
And then let's say about 50years ago, if you read the
morning paper, chances are, youwere reading that local paper
and you were somewhat aware ofthe bad things happening
nationally.
Now, if you really sit here andyou think about it, we were less
connected during that time forreal, for real.

(03:11):
And once you read about that badnews, you could then just go on
and go about the rest of yourday.
Don't that sound lovely?
Like, can you imagine, like, just think about it.
Like, can you imagine going tothe airport today and not seeing
CNN and Fox news plastered onevery TV?

(03:33):
Can you imagine that it'sdifficult because if we're being
honest with ourselves today, weare bombarded with breaking news
every few hours and it'simpacting our brains in a way
that's still being discovered.
It's like this negative spiraly'all probably heard of it or
what they call it.
Uh, doom, strolling that could,it could take a toll on your

(03:56):
mental health.
They've been doing studies andstudies have been linked to the
conception of bad news.
It's leading to increaseddistress, anxiety, and
depression.
So with that being said, if youwere willing to give positive
thinking or try in your life, itwould be best to limit your
social media.

(04:17):
And at screen time, now I know,I know it's easier said than
done, but I promise thediscipline would become second
nature.
When you start to see theresults of the way that your
brain chemistry and thoughtpatterns start improving
substantially.
I know in today's world, we'reall about manifesting.

(04:38):
So the law of attraction statesthat your thoughts create your
reality.
And if you wanted to type whoneeds a more divine truth, then
Proverbs states it beautifully.
When it says that death and lifeare in the power of the tongue
and those who love it will eatits fruits.
Another scripture from the bookof wisdom.

(04:58):
And this right here is mypersonal favorite.
It says it this way, pleasantwords are a honeycomb sweet to
the soul and healing to thebones.
This applies to the way youthink.
And the words you say, evenJesus himself says this in the
gospel of Matthew.
But the things that comes out ofa person's mouth comes from the

(05:21):
heart and these defy them.
So God, your tongue, when youhaving one of them, little
negative Nancy days, and thiswill not only help you, but it
will help others around you tofeel more positive.
Even Jesus himself says this inthe gospel of Matthew, but the
things that come out of aperson's mouth comes from the

(05:43):
heart and these defile them.
So God, your tone, when youhaving one of them, little
negative Nancy days, and thiswill not only help you, but it
will help others around you tofeel more positive, uh, helpful
way to see things in a morepositive light.
It is to shift your perspective, change your mindset.

(06:04):
These words right here werespoken on a Sunday morning and
they have forever stuck with me.
You can't always change yourcircumstances, but you can
always change your perspective.
Have you ever encounteredsomebody who just needed a
little perspective shift, areminder that they are blessed,

(06:27):
a reminder that they lives couldbe a whole lot worse.
Have you ever had someone comeand change your perspective?
For example, let's say you got aflat tie on the way to work and
a family member that you weretelling.
They say something snaring like, well, good thing gets a flat tie
and not a car accident.
.

(06:47):
Now this may be one of the mostannoying things to hit the
moment, but it's the truth.
It is a truth.
That's gonna cut at yourperspective and it's going to
transform the way you perceivethat situation.
That is unpleasant in thatpresent moment in time.
So the next time you findyourself in a little PI and a
little bond, Nate, and you superbombed out and hard on yourself

(07:09):
about it.
Just remember it could always bea thousand times worse.
Look at the world.
look at these last pasttwo years in the globe dog co
man, look, it could always be athousand times worse.
what I wanna do righthere, though.
I want to go ahead and shiftgears and give you three alls

(07:30):
that could transform yournegative thoughts into positive
ones.
I promise you that these aregame changes and when they're
applied daily, you'll start tosee progress after a few weeks.
Now, my first R that I wanna goahead and talk about is
recognize, recognize negativethoughts.

(07:51):
This first step is important.
It's important to figure outwhat your negative thoughts are
about.
Sometimes I admit we do justwake up on the wrong side of the
bed and we don't know why.
Like, can anybody relate tothat?
Some folks may think thatknowledge and negative thoughts
is like rewarding a soy childwith attention for bad behavior,

(08:13):
but getting upset and frustratedwith yourself, but thinking bad
things, it isn't gonna help thesituation either.
We gotta avoid the mistake ofblocking those negative thoughts
out as soon as they surface inthe mind, because running from a
problem is never the solution.

(08:34):
Try to think about thesituations that have caused
these thoughts.
Like if you find yourselfthinking lowly of yourself,
start contemplating what led tothat thought because it could
help.
Is it because of some incidentin your past?
Is it because someone sayssomething that put you down?
Did you fail something youreally wanted to succeed at?

(08:56):
Like the point of this exerciseis to understand the what and
why?
Because only then can you figureout how to deal with those
thoughts?
My second R would be to recordnegative thoughts, being an
exam, a job interview, or selfconfidence issues, try to work

(09:20):
through those worries by writingthem down.
When you write your thoughtsdown, you you'll start to
understand why and where theycoming from.
And more often than not, youwill find a solution to Susie
worries all on your own.
A clear mind is one that iscapable of making decisions and
responsible actions.

(09:40):
In order to clutter your mind, you need to figure out exactly
what's going on up there.
What's outta clutter coming fromwhat?
What is it?
What is it for an excellent wayto start doing?
This is to maintain a personaljournal.
Journals are great.
When you want to revisit themgood days and remind yourself of

(10:02):
how to get over the bad ones.
Y'all heard, uh, storms don'tlast forever.
And it's nice to remind yourselfof that truth.
When you start looking back atwhat you once wrote about your
life now, last but not leastnumber three, my third R is to
reform negative thoughts,reforming negative thoughts.

(10:25):
It begins with re rewordingthem.
Like let's say you moved to anew block, a new neighborhood
after you lived on the sameblock for over 10 years.
Now, the reason you move intothis new block is because you
need a fresh start.
You just need to start over.
Now at first, you are new tothis place.

(10:46):
You miss your old home andfriends.
You find yourself starting tothink like everybody here is a
stranger.
I'm so lonely, bro.
I just wanna go back.
Now.
You don't establish the what andthe why, what you need to do now
is reword that negative thoughtin a more positive light so that

(11:07):
everyone here is a stranger.
I'm so lonely.
It'll become more like I miss myold friends, but I also have the
chance to meet many new people, which is deep down what you
really wanted to in the firstplace, changing that stranger to
meet new people because okay, one of the things that we were
taught growing up, uh, nevertaught to strangers, right?

(11:31):
So if you are moving to a newplace and you already saying
everyone here is a stranger, youare already doing something to
your subconscious mind to keepyou stuck in the same place that
you're already.
You have to understand that areform thought leads to action
and the right action leads tothe right perspective.
We are all a few thoughtpatterns away from achieving

(11:53):
this new way of thinking.
And it's lovely.
I promise you, it is lovely.
I'm gonna conclude this with wecan't be hard on ourselves for
letting our mind spiral in anegative direction.
Now the world around us, it'sbeen shaping us this way for the
last few decades.
And now we have the opportunityto break the cycle.

(12:15):
There's power and positivethinking.
And by that, I mean, you'llachieve more in your career.
You'll do more productive thingsin your free time.
And you'll start to see yourselfin a better light.
I personally encourage you tosee yourself in the eyes of God,
the divine, the creator, whoeverit is you believe in rather than

(12:36):
the eyes of comparison, selfdoubt, and false exceptions that
this world has put on you.
Monday affirmation stating thatyou are chosen to do good and be
good, can go a long way in yourweekly life.
Speak words over your life thatyou hope to see, come to pass.
Do you want success?

(12:56):
Manifest it, think of how you'regoing to get there and what it
looks like when you are there.
Speak words, positive words toyourself and to others around
you be a light.
The dog, this hates the lightand good news is the light will
attract more light, good vibes, bring out more good vibes.

(13:17):
And as you might have heard, this is raising vibes at the
Treehouse.

to transform the way you think.

(13:39):
