Naomi and Krystal are Basic Bitches, a two-piece riot grrrl band from upstate New York. Each episode they chat with other musicians, label people, record store owners, etc about a music-related movie that has influenced their life.

Unsurprisingly, we mostly talk about Tia Carrere but we also find time to discuss the almost infinite amount of quotable lines in this film, hearing Jimi Hendrix for the first time on this soundtrack, and we work out which one of us is the Wayne and which one is the Garth.
