Arkansas Razorback alumnus and newly signed Phillies player, Matt Goodheart joins the BLTR crew in a fantastic conversation that goes beyond baseball. Born into a baseball family, Matt was always driven to play baseball competitively at the highest level. After graduating High School, Matt played at San Jacinto Community College for one year putting up a .355/.464/.574 slash line before transferring to Arkansas University and becoming a Razorback. In 3 seasons at Arkansas, Goodheart slugged his way to 20 HRs, 98 RBIs and sprayed the fields with 137 hits. Matt talks about his upbringing, hitting philosophy, memorable moments at Arkansas, his love for his teammates and what he’s looking forward to next in professional baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies Organization.
