The Battle Born Duckers crew sits down with Gus, Garrett and Kody AKA Nevada mullet to talk about the twins first experience with duck hunting. We sit down with Rob the manager of the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge and talk about what it takes to manage a wildlife refuge and what this season may mean for our waterfowl numbers. Rob is one of the most knowledgeable people we have met when it comes to waterfowl. Rob is an avid hunter and outdoorsman and has worked in every flyway in the United States.  

On this episode of the Duckers we sit down Doug Neilson the Conservation Education Supervisor with the Nevada Division of Wildlife and talk about the great programs NDOW has to get kids excited about hunting and fishing. Doug has a long history of mentoring many youth including Ron and has some great insight on all the work that goes into improving the opportunities for hunters in Nevada.  

Our good friend Ruben is back to talk to us about some tips and tricks he has learned over the years to be ready for waterfowl season. From guns to decoys bags to finishers Rubens experience hunting waterfowl all over the country for 25 years is all on the table to give us some of his tips and tricks to getting the most out of our time in the blind. 

On this episode we sit down with Jason Mace the Southern Nevada District Chair of Ducks Unlimited and Billie Ray Fann the Senior Regional Director of Ducks Unlimited. What has ducks unlimited done to help improve the habitat for waterfowl in Nevada and across the west. Where are the bird coming from and what does the future look like for waterfowl in the region. We also talk a little about their hunting adventures along the way. 

Alan Finney is in studio talking about his working dogs and what he dies to have his hounds ready to work a tough hunting season.
