If you've worked with NMOS, you know that AMWA's Networked Media Open Specifications (NMOS) make it possible to control IP networks in much the same way you're used to in SDI, such as router control panels and keeping track of video sources and receivers in the network.
That said, you've also likely faced some of the challenges that can come up with SDP files within NMOS, such as getting all the receivers and transmitters to register themselves into the registry server and making that data available to the external control system so you can use your existing panels and equipment.
Likewise, what do you do when you push Source, Destination, Take and nothing happens? How do you make sure that the SDP file is valid, formatted correctly and not malformed?
Watch this session to find out:
Why do you need NMOS and how can you apply it within your 2110 workflows?
How can you spot and prevent common NMOS/SDP problems?
What are the basics you need to know about NMOS?
How to use analysis tools that will help you in monitoring NMOS?
What do you need to know when it comes to NMOS troubleshooting and error reporting?
