Jay is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 2nd degree black belt and retired MMA fighter. He has 20 years experience as a street cop and spent 13 of those with SWAT. Jay has a very long list of instructor credentials to his name, including DCJS, Reality based training, Range, Progressive FORCE Concepts, and Defensive Tactics.
Jay is currently an active duty office and team leader for Jamestown Police Department SWAT team. He is also the Lead instructor for our very own Effective Fitness Combatives program.
