Have you ever wondered if you truly have what it takes to succeed in real estate? Maria Quatrone of RE/MAX @HOME delivers a powerful wake-up call about the stark difference between those who merely hold a license and those who build thriving businesses.

At the heart of this message lies a paradox that many agents struggle to accept: true freedom comes only through discipline. Maria shares a revealing conversation with an agent who admitted they didn't want to work structured hours like successful agents do. The problem? Without consistent daily activities and a business-minded approach, success remains elusive. "When you want freedom without discipline, you make no money," Maria states plainly, challenging listeners to examine their own commitment level.

Today's challenging market with limited inventory demands even more from agents. Success requires making more calls, developing stronger relationships, and becoming the solution clients desperately need. The good news? Anyone willing to follow proven systems and maintain disciplined efforts can succeed, regardless of their background. The bad news? About 90% of agents simply won't do what's required. Maria closes with a powerful question that every real estate professional must answer honestly: Which side of the fence are you on—with the small percentage who embrace discipline and achieve success, or with the majority who resist structure and struggle? Your answer will determine your future in this business.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Do you really have what it takes?
That is the question I'm goingto ask you tonight.
Do you really have what ittakes?
Do you want it bad enough to dowhat's required to win in
today's market?
Hi, it's Maria Cuatron, remaxat Home, maria Cuatron and

(00:21):
Associates, and I ask thisquestion do you really have what
it takes, and do you want itbad enough, to succeed in
today's market?
And so I had a conversationwith an agent today and they
said to me I don't.
I know, I talked with an agentat your office and she showed me

(00:44):
all the things she's doing.
I don't really know that I wantto do that.
I don't want to have a nine tofive To say that I was not
shocked.
But that's the problem.
The discipline is what gives youfreedom.
When you want freedom, withoutdiscipline, you make no money.

(01:06):
The discipline of the dailyactivities is what gives you
freedom.
So I ask you do you have whatit takes to be disciplined every
day and do the work?
And I'm talking about abusiness schedule Monday, friday
and, if needed, saturday, ifthat's what's needed but do you

(01:26):
have the discipline to do thework?
Do you have what it takes to dothe work?
That's entirely up to you.
You get to decide.
But when this person told methey don't want to work nine to
five like we do, which isusually 8.30 to 6.30 or whatever
, I said, okay, not a problem,but you've been doing that.

(01:48):
How's that working out for younow?
You haven't been working thosehours, you've barely been
working.
But what I find and what I'mfinding right now, a lot of
people just don't want to work, just how.
It is Not really sure why, nordo I really care why.
I don't care why they don'twant to work.

(02:09):
That's their problem.
My solution is to do the workand to show others who want to
do the work how to do it at ahigh level and be successful in
real estate sales.
But you get to decide whetheryou're going to take the action
or not.
We have all the opportunity inthe world, in our community, at

(02:31):
Maria Quattrone and Associates, and you have to decide if you're
willing to do what it takes intoday's market to be successful.
See, I don't make the rules.
I just know, based on themarket, what the requirements

(02:52):
are to be successful, and that'swhat I do.
There's hardly an inventoryright now.
That means you have to callmore people to find the
inventory be the solution.
Where there's a will, there's away and, yes, you can have a GED
and get a real estate license.
And if you do the work and youfollow the cadence of what we
teach, you will be supersuccessful.

(03:16):
It takes time, it takes energy,it takes effort.
It's going to be up to you.
So do you have really what ittakes?
Are you just going to be with90% of the people who do nothing
?
You get to decide.
I know which side of the fenceI'm on.
Which one are you on?
